 "Alright, let's go meet her then." Glyph smiled and lead Xun across the dance floor, weaving between the flailing limbs an swaying hips as he made sure not to step on anyone's toes.
Coming up to the stage erected for Echo, he offered a wave but refrained from stepping up on the dais and chose instead to lean up against it, "Echo! I'm glad you came, thank-you! Have you met Xun yet? He's... a bit of a recluse I think." He stepped aside to introduce his lavendery companion, pride clear in his voice.

Walking to the stage was just as perilious for Xun Jiang - who had tail and wings to worry about. Smacking someone with a wing would probably be enough to bowl a dancer over, and he was not so keen on having that happen, so he walked, carefully, and caught up with Glyph just as the recluse comment went out, having made a small detour to gather three cups of punch.
"Ahem." He playfully wacked Glyph's backside with his tail. At least there was no risk to bowl his lover over, not since he had grown, at least.
A voice so close was what pulled Echo's attention from within and made one blue-on-blue eye crack open to look downward at Glyph. "I cannot say I have had the pleasure, through you are right. The dragons do tend to be rather reclusive." Beside Tian Yue, she had only seen the others, and not talked to them at length.
"Feel free to come up there. The mana shouldn't be enough to harm either of you." The king at Glyph's side had the telltale signs of a youngling to him - blend of host and god, down to the body's gender not matching who inhabited it. Echo had not had to deal with that, thankfully. She identified with the female gender so strongly that it would have been extremely awkward to be anything else, even temporarily.

Glyph chuckled as Xun thwaped him, gently hip checking the other back, "Thank you but I wouldn't want to obstruct the view of Music any more then I already am." He grinned, "They do... They require presents and parties to lure them out of their lairs, it seems." Forest winked at Xun.
"Echo, Music, this is Xun, Lifewater." He chuckled, "Be kind, hey? Mr. Dragon's shy!"

Xun Jiang shot his lover a glare that could only be considered half-hearted at best, through he was pondering having Glyph sleep on the proverbial 'couch' as 'punishment', through he already knew he probably would not go through with such a thing.
"Pleased to meet you, Lady." He gave a respectful nod of the head. And to see her at her prime, even... It was good to see some his brethen so strong, so full of live and mana, especially after he had just heard of Forge's second demise.
"Seems like you teasing would be enough to send him reeling already, if he was as shy as you tried to make me believe." Music let out an amused giggle. Having to split her awareness like this was strange, and actually not that easy, but she had yet to skip a beat. Thankfully. That would be rather embarrassing.

"Perhaps he puts on a brave face before Music." Glyph joked, smiling all the while and knew he was playing with fire. If he got in trouble, so be it - it would be worth it.
"So, yes, this is one of those infamously difficult to pin down Dragon Kings." He wrapped an arm around Xun and winked, "Thank-you for coming, Lady. It wouldn't be as enjoyable without your music to entice the guests. Have you seen any of the others from your vantage?"

Oh, Forest was playing with fire, indeed, but Xun Jiang looked all too innocent as he gave the taller god a tail-wack straight on the butt. If Glyph could be naughty, then he could certainly do the same !
Tsk tsk~
That was too much, really - the interplay in between the lovers had Music giggling. "Hard to pin down, indeed..." Through, to be fair, the only of his brothers that he could compare the young being in front of her was Tian Yue, who had been a constant companion as well as support whenever she had needed it.
"It is my pleasure." Echo nodded, but turned sheepish. "I have not been keeping much attention, I must admit, through... I think I have seen Adrienne ?"

Glyph grunted when the other thwaped him hard but grinned nonetheless, full of mischief. At her admission of not observing the party, Glyph merely nodded, "We saw her too, but we both know Adrienne. Part of the purpose of this party is to get this feisty wyrm some acquaintances... which requires he speak, alas."
Glyph looked pointedly at Xun then, arching a brow as he grinned mischievously.

"Hm..." Now Echo was using her vantage point at her advantage, and suddenly smiled. "Well, I see Kios... But he looks a little busy." With Adrienne and... a purple-hued man that did remind her of the form of the dragon king that stood near her. Uh. Same race, perhaps ?
"Other than that... I cannot see anyone else that I recognize, not at first glance." She could not help but feel a little lonely, sitting there, away from most of the people. But the music would not carry as well if she was mingling, she knew that well enough.
"That is it, no more sweets for you. They make you bothersome." Xun Jiang's grin deepened - and it was hard to hell that he had been entierely frightened only a few minutes later. There were a few telltale signs, but they were hard to spot - especially for Echo, who did not know him at all. "I apologize, Lady Echo. I probably should not have let him indulge so early in the evening..."

"Alas, we know most of those... unless you'd like to meet Akakios Xun? I don't think I've spoken to him before." Glyph followed Music's gaze and tilted his head in that direction. The slight dip in Echo's voice hinted at her loneliness and he glanced back at her, arching a brow, "Why don't you step down? The music doesn't have to play the entire time, after all. You should mingle too."
Xun's vetoing of his sweets made him blink, his expression immediately turning sad, "But... That's not fair! You're so cruel Xun..." All but pouting, Forest cast a forlorn glance at the sweets table then looked sidelong at Xun, a wicked little smile playing across his lips but remained silent.

The interplay in between the two lovers did amuse Echo dearly - and it was evident in her expression. "I will likely take a break soon... When I reach a natural cut-off point." It would do no good to cut off mid-song, after all.
"How terribly harsh..." Her amusement was growing into giggles, now.
"I would not mind, but perhaps once he is less busy ?" He did seem to be involved in conversation, and it would be a bit rude to walk in. And Elik... probably would not be receptive of his attempts, which made him bite back a sigh. Nothing to be done about that now. He knew that pressing himself on his son would have the opposite effect than the one he desired.
"Sometimes one must make great sacrifices for the greater good." Xun Jiang looked all too serious as he spoke, and tsk-tsk'ed when Glyph looked back at the dessert table - which only seemed to add to Echo's growing amusement. He had not liked the loneliness in her voice, either... Perhaps they should plan to drag her along the festivities if the lovely goddess continued to be a little... difficult.

"Good." Glyph gave a nod of approval to Echo, the grin only growing as she began to giggle. "Charming, isn't he?" There was pride and a touch of sarcasm in his words as he arched a brow and shook his head.
"Alas, that is true..." Forest responded in dramatic tones, holding out an arm as an actor might, "One must remember those substitutes pale in comparison to the sweetest treat of all..." That impish grin flashed across his gaze as he drew Xun into his arms and kissed him full on the lips, lingering just long enough to hopefully fluster the dragon.
When he released the damsel, Glyph was unruffled and smug, winking his merriment at Echo, "The greater good will surely benefit, no?"

The kiss was what did it - or perhaps it was the look on the dragon king's face that did it. Nonetheless, laughter erupted freely from Echo's lips, loud and clear and as pure a sound as tiny crystal bells. That was so funny, and so sweet, in it's own way.
Indeed, Xun Jiang's reaction was quite telling, and the shade of purple he turned quite an interesting one indeed, through he did little effort to move away.
"And you say I am horrible !" He huffed a bit, more out of embarrassment than actual anger. He had half a mind to shift and pin Glyph down in return, but he was not certain that he had enough space to do so.
Oh, he would find another way to one-up this... His brain just needed to start working again first.

Echo's laughter was beautiful, musical and crystalline... and infectious. Glyph laughed in kind, a warm, earthy sound as he mussed Xun's hair affectionately.
"Oh, that's horrible? Should I offer an improved attempt?" Glyph arched a brow, his tone most serious - he was having far too much fun teasing Lifewater.

It was not long before the song came to an end, and Music let her influence fade away - choosing to let herself slide off the stage and land neatly near the two lovers.
Really, she had quite a show already - all that was missing was the popcorn.
"Is she the one making you so mischievous, or is it the sweets, I wonder." Really... Through when she did jump off the scene, it finally did hit Xun Jiang just how tiny Echo actually was, and he couldn't help but stare a bit.
Tiny goddess was tiny.
"Do you care to walk with us ? Get this tree of mine to behave a little bit ?" He grinned.

"You haven't?" The werewolf blinked in surprise at Kios. How could he not have had deer before? It was like...the meat. "It's good! I hunt them sometimes." She glanced at Elik with a small grin then, remembering their spectacular failure of an attempt to hunt together. They should try again sometime, with less falling on their faces.
"Cake is definitely good," she agreed with Grace. "And anything chocolate, and um...everything?" There were very few sweets Adi didn't like.
