She smiled at his name. "So you are what this stuff is too? Snow, pretty nice name." Her tail twitched, showering them both with snow. Giggling, "Well now I am trying to be like you." Above was use to being somewhat noticeable in all her surroundings, so she could understand his meaning. "The dreams...Yes it will be interesting to see what comes from this. As long as they don't take away all the fun or be poor sports about having so much fun!" She looked back to see what he might be looking at, but to her it was just the usual. His voice made it seem like it could be something more, maybe she could learn from him.

"I suppose in a way, I am snow." He chuckled at the ironic thought, and then as her tail sprayed snow on them both, he laughed. "I could make you more like me, if you want," and flicked his tail in return with a grin, more snow falling upon them. He caught her curious look in the direction he'd been glancing, and smiled. "Perhaps the hills do not hold as much interest to others, but I have traveled far and wide across this land, and it is an odd feeling, but this spot, and this.. event.. seems much more special me for some reason. I can't really explain why."

Playing Fox snorted at Rouge's comment to him, but was taken aback by her sudden outburst. His eyes widened as he looked back and forth between the two does. Rouge wasn't usually like this -- this new doe must have done something pretty awful to elicit such a sharp reaction from the pink hunter. This information could make valuable fuel for his teasing later on. Casting a glance at the kiokote and raising his brows as if to say 'well, this should be interesting,' Fox sat back to watch and wait.

Traveller's Joy had been so intent on catching her sister in the act (of what, who knows) that she hadn't even noticed the presence of their mother. "Mother is here?" she looked around to where Shadelight was standing, talking to the gathered kin. By the time Traveller turned back to Midnight Sun, she was bounding off through the snow. "I've got my eyes on you!" she shouted after her sister before turning to find Shadelight. "Mother!" she called in greeting as she trotted towards the purple doe, unheeding of the fact that she might be interrupting a conversation. "I'm glad to see you! Have you brought the whole family?"

Fiend recognized speech directed at his merry party before the owlcat did. Goosebumps was off chasing rays of sunlight off the reflecting snow. Fiend, placed a firm paw down on the owlcat's tail to keep the other one in place. Irritation gave way to curiosity soon enough, and the pair together were regarding Midnight Sun with fascination. Glowy bits. The owlcat liked the sun and raised its hind legs to touch the kimeti's flank with wonder. The other paw joined and soon a slow rhythm massage happened. Fiend let the owlcat have its way before announcing his own plans. He walked away from the new duo, turned his body and kicked up snow at them. There, pressing his nose to the ground, he found the scent again. Fiend always did love a journey.

"A likely story," she spat out, slowly stalking forward into what should really be considered the part-green Acha's personal space, "and I suppose, next, you're going to tell me you don't remember trying to eat MY DOG?!?!!"

Cue was not a morning Kin. She'd followed grouchily behind as Once Forgotten led the way. How could he be so unspeakably energetic in the morning? It was maddening. She far preferred to travel by night, but, ah, the nights were not what they once used to be. She complained mightily about the big oaf pressing up against her in the dark (and he was heavy, make no mistake), but inside she had to admit it would be difficult without his dependable warmth - it was just that cold. Shaking off the shiver that passed through her at the thought, her mind wandered back to her wasp. She had grown used to the buzzing of its wings next to her steps, but this harsh winter, they had feared, was one Twice Removed might not survive in the open. It had taken some persuasion, but it now slept through the worst of it in a hollow trunk they'd closed off with dry fronds, checking back on it every few days.
Once Forgotten's words jolted her out of her thoughts, and it took a moment before she caught sight of his target. Ah, yes. "Good one," she nodded approvingly, and trailed after his steps.

With snow draped across her back, Above dug a little deeper to make the most of the little den. "Well it couldn't be worse looking like you. I could do so much being white." She caught a hint of something in his voice or face, she wasn't sure with the snow all on her head, but was sure to understand. Smiling, "It was the same for some of us, when we made are way here. Something special to see or be a part of. Though for the most part, I think it was just to find out about what was always a legend to us." She looked back towards the mountain, wondering what else might come from these and the dreams they all seem to be having.

"I suppose it isn't too different for you in the swamp, as colorful as you are. We would just both stick out together." He smiles at her, not even seeming to think about the fact, that as an acha, she would likely stick out even more. "I sometimes wonder what it would be like, having the browns and greens of the swamp. Harder to be seen, though I suppose that would be good in some respects." Snow nodded at her other comments. "It is curious, how each thinks of the other as the legend, isn't it?" He chuckles a bit at this. "Do you think one day, that my kind will be the ones to wander from our swamp home, and find some legend far away?" He gets a thoughtful look on his face, as he poses that question.

Giggling under the snow, next to Snow, she looked up at him. "That is true. I don't think there is much of a place for me to actually blend in, at least color wise." Taking his comment to heart, "That is the reason some of our predator companions are colored the way they are, even the prey. It sure is funny a bit." Glancing into his glowing eyes, Above was sort of surprised by his look. From what she had heard, in the swamp and on her travels to it, the kimeti didn't want to leave. "For how long we have been apart," she smiled. "Yeah it is curious, but understandable." She started nudging some of the snow around with her nose, trying to keep her mind clear of thoughts. This was to be a happy time.

He gazes at her colors thoughtfully. "Perhaps you could blend in on the coast, when the sun is setting on the water? I think it would be an interesting sight to see, at the very least." "Well yes, our kinds have all been separated for a long time." He started to elaborate on his question of the possibility of Kimeti being the ones to wander from their home next, but pauses as he sees her fidgeting, and thinks better of it, for now. "But we are all coming together, and perhaps with new ..." he pauses, but mentions it in a hopeful manner "...friends soon?" He also idly pushes around some snow with a hoof as he watches her, drawing random figures as he thinks.

The snow she was messing with went into the air. She never thought of the coast and its water. "I just might have to take a trip there one of these days. See if I blend in enough to learn some more stuff about hiding out in plain sight." She grinned at him, after noticing he was pushing snow around. Her ears flicked at the mention of friends coming into the area. A quick glance back towards the mountains made her shiver, but there was always the possibility. "The more the merry! I mean it is kinda hard to be mad at us Acha at times." Giggling, she knew that a few could get mad at them for just wanting to have fun and a good time.

His head swiveled back to her as he saw her head come back up at the thought of visiting the coast. "It could be. Though I hear it's hard to get out there. It's one of the few places I haven't visited yet." "I can't really imagine why anyone would get mad at others for who they are, or what they like to do, but I don't claim to understand everyone's thoughts." He shrugs, then chuckles a little. "I usually assume everyone is nice until I am proven wrong."

Once Forgotten’s long stride carried him quickly towards his target… and he was so intent on reaching his quarry that he nearly ran straight into the Kimeti that had suddenly stepped out in front of him. The Kiokote skidded to a halt and sidestepped to stop from bowling the smaller male over. “Defiance!” He exclaimed when recognition finally hit. Unperturbed over nearly finding himself with a face full of dirt, In Defiance gave Once Forgotten a companionable shoulder bump. He hadn’t seen the Kiokote for a long while, and having just arrived at this odd gathering, he would be pleased for a nice long, catch up chat. “Weather’s been good, eh?” He joked and upon noticing Cue Queue added, “at least you’ve got something to help keep warm. Hop isn’t good for that at the best of times and now he’s gone to sleep for the winter.”

She'd hung back, not wanting to intimidate the doe they were heading for by presenting an impenetrable front together - but when Once Forgotten suddenly stopped...and started talking to a totally unrelated buck... Oh, Swampmother. Honestly, the newcomer was radiant enough, but a shining eye hardly counted in their quest! Their target would be - their target...was already intently occupied with a pair of strange animals (was one transparent?). Joy. More wasted time in their search.
Sulkily, she stalked up to the Kiokote's heels, heedless of the ongoing conversation. "Friend of yours?" she near-snapped; it was early, it was cold, they were wasting time: these were all factors that made it seem important to her that her displeasure should be conveyed to her thick-headed companion in some way.Ruriska Aaaahhh thank you so much Ruri darlin' you are such a sweetheart ilu
