"If there's one thing I know, most ghouls like a boil who will make them feel safe and cared for. That's the meat of the 'want' equation, at least for me I know this is true. The rest of it?" She brushed off his shoulder where she'd been laughing and combed his hair a bit with her fingers, "is gravy. As a meat eater, you should know the interest ratio of those two analogies playing next to each other and what the right balance is."

Her tail wagged a bit as she offered him a smile.

"So yes. I really think so."

Yes, he could understand that analogy rather well actually. It gave him a little to think about for sure, even if he wasn't really seeking that sort of thing actively. It was something that was still good to know. A part of him had to wonder if that was one thing Mal appreciated too... well, even if it wasn't exactly a girl. Riley, he knew wasn't exactly like that though.

"Well then, that's something good to keep in mind. Thanks for.. enlightening us on that," he nodded.

"Yes. She was pretty nervous about it though, and admitting this wasn't really the sort of thing she usually enjoyed. So it seems I'm not the only one like that either," he said. But over all, the experience hadn't been too bad, despite how he normally felt about these sorts of things.

Suddenly hearing laughter coming from Shehk, Shun glanced up as well. He hadn't really been paying too much attention to their conversation so he wasn't sure what the funny thing was.

"That they do. I noticed the dragon was looking tense earlier. It seems he's managed to loosen up."

Jericho shook his head slowly at that pun Shehk decided to toss out. Or rather, accidentally let slip. As horrible as it was, the pun was still kind of amusing. Well, actually it was her reaction to it.

"Yes... yes you did," he said with amusement, "It happens to the best of us."

After taking a few more bites of his food, Jericho looked at his plate, then towards the rest of the room. Yes, they should probably get moving soon. They had lingered by the refreshments for some time now.

"Moving would be a good idea. Get a different vantage point for the time being and all," he nodded before finishing up the last few bites and putting the plate away.

Jericho nodded in agreement before looking around, trying to see where they should head next. After a bit of thought, his gaze focused in on Riley and the other girls once more.

"Maybe we should join in on the happy celebrations over there," he said motioning to the little group. Hopefully the gathering won't trigger anything from him. Besides, he still owed Lizzy a dance.

Yin shot the zomboil a puzzled look at his comment. He would be surprised? That almost sounded as if someone did like him in such a manner. But who would Alexander know that he knew as well? And that would be close enough to him to tell him such a secret? He tried to put it out of his mind, crouching down to pet Princess Eva one last time, and then even petting Alexander's peculiar looking creature.

But right under "make sure that females have eaten" was a tiny mental note to make sure that Alexander was well fed, though he tended to overlook why that concern was even on his list. It really only took teeth grazing past your shoulder once.

"I am unsure if I should meet another student," he admitted, "but you should certainly sign up. I am sure that any student here would enjoy speaking to you for fifteen minutes." As he spoke he began to slowly walk away, not grabbing on to Alexander's hand because he was in no rush to get anywhere. "The sparkling blood at the refreshment table is very unique, so perhaps we could obtain some food now and play some games later?" He belatedly realized that he was assuming the zomboil would wish to spend time with him later in the evening. "If you wish to of course."

As they neared the refreshment table Yin still could not get past what Alexander had said. "The way you spoke earlier...what you said...it almost made it seem as if you...knew of someone...who...considered me as more? Than a friend I mean. Were you simply joking or...is there..." His tone was one of complete bewilderment, though glancing around he could see some familiar orange hair. Did Miss Danny also know if such a person existed? He looked back up at Alexander, trying to see if his friend would give anything away.

After eating another of the dumplings, Shun set the plate down so that he could take a drink of punch. At the question, he thought it over for a few moments. It didn't matter too much to him. He was perfectly content to just be with her or to spend some time with a few of the others as well.

"Either or is fine with me. Is there something you'd like to do in particular?" he asked her.

"That sounds like a fine plan to me," Shun said before wrapping an arm around her waist so that they could start walking elsewhere.

Tonight was a good night indeed.
