"He probably would, but that makes me sort of happy... Then again, aren't you afraid that your ghoulfriend will be jealous?" She stroked her chin thoughtfully, "Favorite place... Nearly almost every clothing shop. And minipet shop." For obvious reasons.
Glancing briefly at the sheet with questions printed on it, she hummed, "What kind of music do you like?"

Ohhhh, table table table table.....
Sura took a while to find the table she was looking for, but when the Colossus found it, she seemed to not be sure if she had found it or not. She knew enough of the student body to know who was not who she was looking for, so..by process of elimination, that left Table 8 as her partner..
maybe.
"Are you....Shun?" Sura asked, double checking before moving to take a seat across from him.

"I kind of like it when she's jealous." Mac informed her, wondering just how far this would put him in the dog house. "But, at the same time, I think she'd absolutely love watching me turn down a stranger." His throat cleared for a moment, and he resumed that cheshire grin of his. "I'm not the nicest person in Halloween, you see. I wouldn't let them down easy." He winked at her, and then found himself baffled by her question.
Favourite music.
Oh Jack - well, JD's latest album was amazing (though not as good as his older stuff, obviously), but...how could he let her know that? He loved her, but that was a secret he still wanted to keep for himself, for as long as possible. Think, Mac, Think! "Well, there's this one kind of music I've been into lately. It's a very intimate sort, lots of soft, keening noises." Leaning back in his chair, he steepled his fingers.
"If you could have one thing in the whole of Halloween, what would it be?"

"Really? You know what? I think you might be right... Ghouls are funny that way," She replied, pulling the sheet of paper closer to her so that she was looking down at it, trying to hide the fact that his winking had caused her face to go completely red, "I''m sure she would love to watch you do that." She really would.
"Intimate?" She almost squeaked that time, looking up suddenly, her face practically glowing red. She tried to pretend that she was feeling perfectly fine and normal, but it was difficult to, with him grinning like that; desperate, she tried to imagine him with a paper bag over his head.
... Much better.
"It would be..." World peace? Death to all hunters? She paused, mulling over her answer, "I guess... A family...? Well, I mean I have one now, but... My own family." She wriggled in her seat, "Uh... Right, next question. Everyone has fears... What is one of your fears?"

While he waited for his partner to arrive, Shun noticed a number of familiar faces coming on by. There was Mac and Lizzy, who seemed to be fortunate enough to be paired up for this session. He nodded to the reaper before looking at the spider demon. "Hello Lizzy. You look nice tonight," he said before turning his attention to Xiu.. who had poked the corner of his lips. It confused him. "..Hello Xiu?" he said while staring at the camera. He got that she wanted to take a picture. But why did she poke him? He didn't dwell on it long, as he heard a voice call to him. A rather large girl at that. And now that he saw her, he recognized her as being the one to escort Titus out of the theater. Hah. "I am. Then you must be Sura," he said, "It wasn't too hard to find me was it?"

"Yes, I am Sura." she confirmed, thrumming delightedly as she took up that seat, careful to not shake, or better break, anything as she joined him. "I found you easily enough once I knew who it was I was looking for." she answered, her tail curling up beneath her seat, as to keep from tripping people with it.
"This...set up does confuse me a bit, but I am not used to such things, so I am still adjusting to being ...inside..of buildings." Which wasn't too bad so far, it helped she was a fourth of the size she was previously, she felt, "Did I leave you waiting long?"

Shun quirked an eyebrow at the building comment. Granted, she was fairly large. He supposed she might have found moving around inside smaller places a little cumbersome. If only he knew. "No. I've waited longer," he replied, "I suppose you're more accustomed to more open spaces?"

"Good. It is impolite to leave people waiting, so I do try not to." she seemed relieved to have at least found him in a relatively quick amount of time.
"I am a Colossus. We do not live indoors. We live in large open spaces where we may not even meet another of our own kind." she answered, nodding. "Though I know there are many others. You appear to be a reaper, from what I can tell. Am I right to assume that you are more used to living in these more..urbanized....?" she made a face, as though unsure of her word choice, "environments?"

At the mention of her species, Shun could assume she was also very large in her true form. Now that he thought about it, she was probably that large beast that was flinging a few people at Christmastival. The one he suggested to Mitsu to use as a booster for jumping. He could be wrong, but all the other notably large creatures there were dragons. And she was not a dragon. "That would explain a few things, and you are correct. I'm a grim reaper to be exact, and I grew up in a city."It was almost the exact opposite of being in a large open space. The only way to get away further was if the city was underground most likely. But it wasn't. And while he had been in some more open areas, it was hard to imagine being in one so vast and empty to have meeting another of one's own species be a rare thing. "It must be quite a change for you to come to this academy then. Are you adjusting well?"Again, he was actually feeling up to chatting, where he normally would not be... at least with those he wasn't really familiar with. The Reaper wasn't entirely certain what the cause was, but he didn't seem to care for the time being.

"Do you consider a city to be bigger than the town nearby or is this about the same size? The last fellow I met seemed to be from somewhere bigger, so I am interested for comparison." she thrummed, before she actually answered the question about acclimation to the academy;
"I had a few...incidents....at the beginning of my move in," that door was still broken.... "but with some help I am getting..used..to how close and compact everything is.
It is not so unpleasant. I rather like being able to talk face to face with other people." she nodded once. Even if she'd been labelled as some backwater country girl by TG because the idea of a phone or the possession of one had completely flown by her. Nowhere to put it!
"I will confess things sort of....turned busy..immediately when I arrived, so I have been rather swept away trying to keep up."

"The city is larger by far in both how much land it takes up and how many people live there. The building themselves are larger as well. On average at least. The ones towards the heart of the city are the tallest essentially," The Reaper explained. If Sura struggled a bit here, he could only imagine that she would be causing quite a bit of calamity where he came from. Falling silent as she explained things on her end, Shun nodded quietly in turn. "Things have been rather hectic as of late on many fronts. All the newer students are in for quite a ride I believe. But it is good to hear you've been having a decent time here in the least," he said before pausing to try and think up of a question to toss back at her. He never really tried to get to know someone better through this sort of question and answer type of thing. It had all been rather gradual for him. "Ah.. Would you say you prefer it here or back in your homelands?" he finally asked after some silence passed.

Bigger than this? Sura seemed to actually reflect some sort of fascination, as though imagining some giant city that even she couldn't see the top of. Marvelling. "I would very much like to see that someday..."
"It has seemed rather hectic, yes." What with the sudden exams of power and Boogeymen and... all sorts of things. The school was aflutter with gossip and differing opinions. She wasn't sure what she thought of it all yet. She'd figure it out in time and maybe with some exposure, she figured. "I will figure it out, get up to speed. Everybody here has been very willing to give information and to help us new students, so that is nice."
There was another long silence after Shun asked about how she felt about the school vs her homeland, seeming to be mentally weighing the pros and the cons of it, eyes shifting between several colors as she seemed to decide. "If home had more proximity to the others and I could meet them, I would like home more. But I have spent much more time at home than I have here, so I still have time to change my mind." she answered after a moment.
"Do you like it here? Is it less hectic here than it would be in that big city you spoke of?"

Shun could see how that would be a factor. As much as he enjoyed solitude, he wasn't sure if he could really stay in it for a prolonged period of time willingly now. At least now that he knew a few certain individuals. Prior to his enrollment that would have seemed like it wasn't an issue in the slightest. "The city has its own issues and something is always going on within. It's an interesting place. The location I don't mind so much, but there are certain groups within it that I could care less for whereas it's a very different case here. For that reason I enjoy it here far more," he answered. The location itself didn't matter that much to him. Both the school and the city were nice in their own ways. It was really who was in them that made or break it for the reaper. "What sorts of things did you do at home?" he asked after another pause. Seeing how it was so vast, he couldn't imagine there being venues for entertainment. Sura would have had to find something else to do with her time.

"More than even here?" Sura asked, seeming genuinely curious. This place had enough going on for her and she could hardly keep up with it all! She couldn't imagine more. She was still trying to process the whole 'Hunter' thing that was going around. Though for her it made sense, what with the...clan history.
A history she wouldn't share.
"I hope I will also find things here I will like more than home." she thrummed, sounding pleased by the sharing of Shun's opinion on home v Amityville.
"Home was.......open space. No buildings. I spent most of my time sleeping, finding shapes in the clouds... breaking rocks....." Sura seemed to realize this wasn't very entertaining. "There was not much to do besides watch time pass by. It was a sort of..project to see how the time passed using things like the rocks and the plant life. The sun too." She crossed her arms and sighed. "There was not much we could do, sadly. But I did enjoy it, for as simple as it was. I was not....tempered..to things such as the skreevee or the computer..things like that simply did not come into my life until I came here, so the days did not seem as long as I make them sound now."
That and a significant lack of drama.
"Does that sound boring?"

Mac, in true with typical Mac-like behaviour, found her blushing so cute he couldn't help but laugh. Yup. He still got it! Win-Win-Win~ Her answer didn't surprise him, but it didn't make him feel great, either. All the hardship he had forced on them months ago was somewhat due to two of the things she had just said; one, that she wanted a family and two, he was afraid he wouldn't be able to provide her with one. The hardship may have been worked through, but that didn't make him confident he could give her what she deserved.
"That's lovely, really. I hope you get it~" And he really, really did. "One of my fears...hrm." He scratched his nose, dark gaze on the ceiling as he thought. Gee, his list of fears was long and painfull! To pick only one was...hard. "I'm afraid of the words field and trip in the same sentence." He laughed, shaking his head and apparently not going the serious route. "They mean terrible things on the horizon. Which is a shame because I used to love those words." Damn Amity, ruining everything!
"If you could have any FEAR in the world, except for the one you have now, what would it be?" Superpowers, what Superpower would you want, Lizzy?
