Scarentine's Day Main Event (IT'S OVER GET OUT. p. 58)

She stared at the well light atmosphere of the Scarentines event room before cocking her head. How did she end up here? No she kinda of knew how she got here, BUT HOW DID SHE GET HERE.

It started out with a certain creeper outside her door. Yes...A creeper. She had felt a ominous soul hanging about her doors and when going to inspect it, she instead found a fateful...fate reaper out there.

She had debated on forcefully closing the door in his face but then...he made this face...this frowning, sad face that seemed like a pout...Almost like...She wasn't sure what he did...She wasn't sure of his power. WHAT WAS HE DID THAT MADE HER FEEL GUILTY!??! He was almost like a puppy dog! LIKE A CUTE MINIPET.

"I...Why..." She stared at him, dressed so nicely and then to herself. Again, he had something about her attire for the evening and then...coerced her into getting into a fancy dress, her hair all floaty and down to her waist.

Leaning over, she attempted to whisper to her escorts familier. "Biskoto...how did I get here?" She stared at the other students and then Thanatos next to her and blushed. "I didn't expect...this."

Tahki said nothing about her arm being occupied. It was nice to feel the presence of some one she knew and trusted like Amrita. To be honest, Tahki was a bit in the same boat as Amrita. It was Amrita right now that kept her from running in terror away from the party.

"I came alone... " Tahki gave a shy smile, "B-but your here now so it evens out... w-what about you?" Tahki wouldnt be surprised if Amrita came here with a date. She looked absolutely amazing.

All of the sudden, Jericho felt really really strange. And kind of overwhelmed. And quite frankly he didn't know why the ******** this was. It was freaking him out though. It almost felt like he was about to have a heart attack or something like that, which was not the most pleasant feeling. His hand went to his chest, and his eyes shot over towards the photobooth area. What the jack was going on?!

From there, his eyes darted back and forth, suddenly on even more of a high alert right now. His wings flared out somewhat defensively, even if there was no eminent danger around.

Christof relaxed a bit as the patchwork ghoul left to the tables, fidgeting with his hat before putting it back on his head again. Right. Right. His duties. make sure everyone was taken care of. That things were running smoothly. He considered seeing if Riley needed any help specifically, but a glance around he saw her vanish with Malodore into the photo booth.

He sagged a bit in disappointment. Well, at least she seemed to be taken care of. There was no sign of Barth nor Calder... and only a handful of students he was familiar with.

And then he turned and saw... her. His face went white and again the cotton-candy-clouds of amore raced through his brain, filling his eyes with soft winds speckled with flower petals as the ghoul clumsily hobbled her way forward in that endearing way she had with those backwards limbs. She was speaking with Miss Tahki. He couldn't interrupt, that would be impolite. But... but she was looking... he had never seen her looking so... wonderful.

Breath caught in his throat, he limped his way along the tables and chairs and bodies, peering carefully between them at her at every opportunity. No boil was getting close. Good, good. Miss Tahki was alright to talk to, but anything with an ounce of testosterone stepped near her... he felt his hands ball into fists as he wobbled closer, trying to be sneaky about it.

Oh, hmm it hadn't occurred to Sin how many new students the school had, well new to her. Yet another disadvantage of having been so antisocial, she decided to start fixing that and looked around. Willow, willow, she wasn't even sure what species she was looking for.

"Willow?" She called softly uncertain if anyone would reply. Well she could just go take a seat and let whoever it was ferret her out, but that was just as bad as skulking in corners.

"Becausssse," Biskoto whisperered back, gently settling her head down on the mermaid's shoulder, not sure if she should be worried about how the ghoul was simply being pulled along with Thanatos, "You fell for his face. You know... That face." The pouty, 'aw, why not', 'you just hurt my feelings' face.

The reaper in question, on the other hand, was dressed well, even more so than usual. He had turned up earlier in front of Amphi's room, with a vase - that looks more like a fish bowl - filled halfway up with water, a white and pink water lily floating on top of it.

You know, to show how sincere he was about being her escort for the night. Never mind that Amphi probably lived in salt water.

It was not easy being new,even more so when he had the chance to speak to many pretty ghouls since his arrival. However, a few days ago, he couldn't stop himself from not feeling odd and just a little guilty whenever he was complimenting or even teasing a ghoul; he hoped that it wasn't his conscience suddenly waking up. That would be awkward for everyone. Still, after consulting his new-found "conscience", he decided that the ghoul he felt most strongly for was... Amphi.

Which led to this current situation.

"Ohh, you two are whispering again," He raised an eyebrow, looking down at the two ghouls - one mermaid, one familiar - before grinning, "Should I be worried?"

This time, when Mac walked into a Student Council run party, he had the proper ghoul on his arm. Tess was nice and all and even more fun to tease, but...she wasn't the ghoul for him. This time he got it right, and this time he wasn't going to ruin it! The Reaper smiled down at Lizzy, their arms linked together as he lead her into the dance.

"Woooooow~" He whistled out, looking this way and that. "They did a good job! Even if it is---" No, wait, he had to be nice! He still didn't care for Riley and took every chance he could to slander her, but...not today, not with all this goodness filling his filthy black heart. "Err, just a school event?" He finished lamely, gently rubbing his fingers along the back of her hand.

"You look beautiful tonight~" He murmured, leaning down to press a light kiss against her cheek.

That was it. IT HAD TO BE IT. "Biskoto, I don't ever fall for faces though but his..." She gave a small peek up at him before flushing. There was this feeling inside her, something she had once felt for Mac for a tiny bit. This like...it felt like a hell butterfly playing around on her insides. "He looks so...so..." Amphi struggled for a word before flushing. "He looks really hott..." She nodded to the snake before looking up at him, That was the right word to describe the Reaper yes? A good Landwalker term? "Is that the right way to put it Biskoto? I never really stared at his face long enough to realize...."

"T...Talking?!?!" She squeaked, "Nonsense Thana! I mean...Thanatos! Well no, I actually like Thana...." Her face brightened incredibly...almost spectacularly and now...That feeling in her chest was starting to flutter faster. Hell butterfly on acid or something, who knew.

"I wanted to say...well tell you...Ah...That you look very...um..very..." She flushed again before she looked over to figure out another word...more appropriate to tell him. And for a moment her heart stopped all together before it sped to a almost ungodly like rate. Mac was here. Well he was here with Lizzy but...Mac was here. And she had all these awkward left over feelings and not sure how to act. Even worst was that she had been more accepting of Lizzy and Mac than any other ghoul would've been. So it was odd to feel odd about all the leftover awkward feelings and stuff.

Regardless that her grip almost became death like on Thanatos, she looked away from the couple. there was way too many feelings happening and she just wasn't sure what the devil was going on.

"Biskoto....My stomach feels all flutterly." Though she said that more out loud then to the familiar specifically.

Away from the beeps and lights of the arcade, Calder held onto Barth's arm as he lead him away and finally found an opening around a cluster of roses and around a few tables to teh main floor. It was amazing how lavish it all was, and Calder checked his hooves. Yup. Chistof and Barth's invention was working. He wasn't slipping at all!! Good thing he painted them black though. Smiling, he continued to walk arm in arm with Barth, feeling the sting from the compatibilty machine die away in the mist of being in front of many people he did and didn't know, and right up against his boilfriend. If he could wear a sign on him that said "I'M WITH ALL THIS SEXINESS RIGHT HERE!", he would have. Instead, he settled for clinging to his arm, and every so often, nuzzling against his neck and stealing kisses.

"Are you tired?" He asked, not wanting to burn out the boil too early.

Giggles followed Freya as Herryk pulled her away from the games and found a dark, dangerous looking corner for the two of them to hide in. She backed up against the wall, blushing ferociously, and grinned up at him.

It was so dark, in the corner of the room. So dark, and funny feeling. She felt tingles up and down her skin, but she assumed that was from her proximity to Herryk, and pulled him closer for it.

She laid her head on his shoulder, basically sprouting hearts as she walked into the room; recently, she couldn't go two seconds without thinking about how perfect Mac was, and how handsome he was, or how his voice makes her want to giggle and blush, especially when he says her name. It got even worse when he showed her his Scarentines' Party outfit; he was wearing pink.

"They did! They worked so, so hard!" She squeaked happily, bouncing up and down on the spot despite her heels, almost like she was afraid that she would explode into a million tiny candy hearts with "I love you" on it if she stopped moving, even for a second. The kiss made her blush deepen in color, and she giggled, tiptoeing to press a kiss on his cheek in return, "Thank you. And you look exceedingly good looking tonight, even more so than usual!"

"I...I came alone too." She admitted sheepishly. "I've never come alone before..." Part of her was lamenting that because she was getting less and less able to be on her own, especially right now, where her heart was all a-flutter and her mind was occupied by, well...boils. Err. One boil. One very lumpy boil. "B-but! There's nothing wrong with being alone a-and---" She went quiet for a moment, seeing something suspiciously familiar stalking out of the corner of her eye.

"OhmyjackTahkihe'slookingatme!" She squeaked out in a hushed whisper to her friend like a nervous string of words from an awkward teenager who just spotted her crush staring at her. Wait. That's exactly what was happening! Even just looking at him made her stomach come to life, it made her heart thud in her chest (which was still an annoying event, no matter what the cause was) and worse, it made her feel completely and utterly lost. Oddly, these things weren't nearly as distressing as they probably should have been. He was looking rather dashing today, too! While she did love his patchy clothing or the feel of dirt that usually surrounded him, she had to admit that this look was...very nice. Very nice. She wasn't ready to face him yet though. She had things to say, stuff to tell, but...not yet, not here, not now! Distraction time!

"T-tahki!" Trying to pretend she didn't see the Igor, Amrita pulled urgently on her friend's arm. "W-we should do something! Um! Wh-what sh-should we--" Hrm, so many thing, but what?!

"He looksss really hott?" Biskoto tilted her head, a baffled expression on her face as she inclined her head to briefly look at her reaper before looking at Amphi again, her tongue flicking in and out as she paused, "He issss rather warm, yesss, Darling, but- Oh wait... You mean... Good looking-hot? Really?" It wasn't that she didn't think that Thanatos was handsome, but... Oh my, that was rather sudden of Amphi to say that!

"... Thana?" He repeated, not quite sure how to feel about his new nickname, although since it seemed to have an odd, rather entertaining effect on her, he decided to just let it slide, "That I look very ummm?" His grin widened, and he leaned in just a tad, getting into her personal space, even if it was just a little. He soon, however, realized her change in expression and demeanor, and looked over at whoever she was looking at before; her comment made him pause before he patted her on the back of her hand.

"A crush of yours?" He muttered before turning her away, leading her over to the table where sign-ups for some sort of an event was happening, "I'm almost jealous." He almost really was.

"Oh dear," She nuzzled the top of her head against the ghoul's cheek, "Flutterly? Is that boil your crussssh? He lookssss... Preoccupied, however."

"Not with you," Barth said softly, just as enamored and stealing a kiss of his own. "...A little sleepy."

The piano music was quiet, and red decorations made the ballroom look like it was swathed in blood. Skulls and candles were a classic touch, and the buffet table was well-stocked.

What the room was lacking in, he thought, was chairs. There were chairs, of the hard variety, and all at reserved-looking tables with cards.

"Not much in the way of seating, is there?" Barth observed.

Herryk wasn't entirely sure where they were going, but there was one thing for certain.

It was time to make out.

Bracing his arms against the wall above Freya, Herryk leaned down and stole a kiss. He felt all sorts of tingly and sparkly and if his heart was of the beating persuasion, there was little doubt that it would be thudding against his ribs.
