Susan laughed at Reilynn's lame joke about the broom. She found lame comedy hilarious.
"I've got a joke... Why did the peanut sue the walnut?" she said and paused for a moment then told the answer "Because it was Assaulted" she said and giggled, hoping they found it funny.

It was a bit hard to Susan to cheer up someone she didn't really know.
"I'm Susan by the way" she said to Ayu and Ishan al Seif

"So where are we going?" she asked curiously and went over to the group with her book under her arm.

"Just because I'm pretty......

Well, the more the merrier.. Ayu smiled as the stranger invites the neko girl and Reilynn.. Hey! Reilynn is here! Yey! and she even tried to cheer her up with a joke.. She gave out a soft giggle.. "Thank you.." It's nice to see other people trying to cheer her up despite on what she's facing today..

"Yes, Ice cream.. Sundae Inn serves the most delicious ice creams I ever tasted!" Clasping her hands and with her eyes sparkles.. This sounds so enjoyable and excited.. She couldn't wait for another round... Well, she had ice cream as her breakfast, lunch and probably dinner.. That will do it!

In order for her to forget Kentoy.. She would just devuldge herself binging on ice creams! "Let's go! my treat!" Flashing a forceful smile on the others..

....doesn't mean that I'm happy!"

"That Joke," Ihsan told Reilynn on his way out of the book store, "was terrible." But he was still amused by her attempt to cheer up Ayu--even if it had been with a horribly lame joke. He reached over to muss her hair slightly. "Nice try."

Fortunately, Ayu did seem to be in a somewhat better mood than she had been. Either that, or she was forcing herself. Ihsan found himself wondering what was bothering her. His mind went back to that paper she had dropped. He had given it back to her but she simply crumpled it. Perhaps it was something on the paper itself that had upset her. He wanted to try to get it back from her and read it now.

Maybe if he knew what was on it, he would know how to cheer her up.

In the mean time, he followed the three girls out onto the street. "Ayu, what classes do you take at the academy?" He wondered if he had any with her. If so, maybe he would have a chance to get that paper away from her...

It had cost her a fortune. Not that she really used much money on a day to day basis anyways. But still, it had cost her a fortune. The clothes, the shoes, the haircut... the contacts. She had been rather iffy on the contacts, but... they matched the hair! And it wasn't like she had to wear them all the time. After dropping her new wardrobe off in her dorm room, the last thing Penelope felt like doing was buying more stuff... but she did feel like reading, and honestly, the scenery in the library was getting a bit old. So she came to the book store, to see what was going on.

It was true that she could have just as easily worn her sister's clothing until she found a way to get her (currently a him) to let her change back, but honestly? That was, in Penelope's admittedly mixed up brain, a bit odd. And besides... this was supposed to be a turning point. That was the whole reason behind the random shopping spree, the haircut... the contacts. She had been trying her whole life to keep to one form, and though she had always claimed she didn't really care which, it was pretty obvious that she preferred being a boy when she was honest with herself. That was why she didn't have any girl's clothes... and why she would always try to switch back as soon as possible. But this time was different. Her condition was somehow on hold until her brother said it wasn't, and knowing him, she was probably going to be stuck this way for a while. Might as well get comfortable...

That wasn't the whole reason though. Penelope was just tired. She was tired of being so... so... so depressing! The more she tried to keep away from being a girl, the more it seemed that she became one. The more she became one, the more depressed she got, and the more depressed she got? Well, the more isolated she made herself. That was probably why she hadn't made any friends at Rosentale so far... real friends. Friends that you would spend all your free time with. Of course she had friendly acquaintances, but due to the insights of some very helpful faculty members, she had realized that in truth, she was never going to make those sorts of friends if she didn't stop feeling sorry for herself...

It was time to accept herself... both sides (and both minds). Besides, if her brother saw her wearing the sort of thing she was wearing now, he wouldn't be able to resist trying to get her to turn into a guy.

So! Time to turn over a new leaf! Though the shorts made her legs a bit cold.

Ihsan had finally found out what had happened the day before, as the rumors had gone around rather quickly after the missing students returned. He was sorry he had missed it. Apparently there had been an exploding monsters and while he had certainly seen many things in his life, he had never seen an exploding monster before. But he figured there would be more opportunities.

He was just glad the students has been unharmed. Reilynn had been among them and he would be upset if anything happened to her. He had decided to buy a gift for her to show he was grateful for her safety.

And of course, the best gifts were books. So he'd gone to the bookstore to find a book about how to repell monsters, how to break out of cages, magical defense--something useful, that would help her stay out of trouble. He was currently browsing magic books to see if anything caught his eye.

Picking one off the shelf, he began to carefully read it.

"I used to think that everyone had what it took to be a main character."

xxHana was browsing through the new releases of romance novels. It was hard not to judge books by their covers since a lot of the covers helped tell her if they were angsty relationships or not. She liked nice and sweet romances. Angst was never something she really cared for. She tried to ignore the supernatural romances since she always found that there was always a pattern and it was the girl either being some kind of special creature and realizing that her life was a fraud up until then. It was as if she couldn't accept herself for who she was! If Hana suddenly realized she was half... uh... cow then... she would accept this? Well then again, that might be hard to accept. Then she understood their pain. After all, who wouldn't laugh at her if she had udders instead of a--

Right then! Books! Hana was about to move on when she saw a young couple with a baby. She hid behind a shelf. The child was sleeping, but the mother was reading out loud to her child as the father leaned close to the mother and turned the page. A goofy grin spread across Hana's face as she sighed unconsciously at the sight. How beautiful. It was so adorable. That child was lucky to have parents like them.

((There. I used your new picture, Light. D<))

Unlike the picture that suggests him, Severin was not smiling. His face was always in a perpetual frown actually. He hates spring because he hated it. He disliked winter for being cold and summer for being so hot and he hated autumn because school started and that meant dealing with bratty kids. At least Severin wasn't an elementary school teacher anymore. Those were very horrible days. Severin entered the bookstore with this perpetual frown and he wanted to go find a book that can at least lessen the suckiness of his life.

He headed to the literature section and picked out a couple books and then headed for a place where he could sit down and read. As he was walking, he recognized a head of messy brown hair that was peeping past a bookshelf at... a family? He walked over to her. "You know there are security cameras here. If you keep standing like that, you'll be suspected of being a stalker," Severin said to Hana.

xxIf only Hana was smart enough to bring her video tape! She would video this and then watch it forever at home! Because it was just so darn adorable! Hana cursed herself for not bringing her proper stalking supplies but she at least had her camera to take pictures to commemorate the beautiful find--

Hana let out a startled squeak as she spun around when someone suddenly spoke to her. It was just Severin. Geez, she should have known that he would be here. She relaxed, glad it wasn't some kind of weirdo. She crossed her arms. "So what if there are cameras? As long as I don't harm them, it should be perfectly legal to take pictures of them. I mean, they're so adorable and just so picture worthy." Hana said with her goofy grin as she clasped her hands together.

"I mean, this is true love at its best. Even when they're already married with a child, they still find time for family time and they're reading together. It's just so sweet." Hana sighed immersed in her own thoughts. Then she remembered the picture. Hana turned around to go snap the picture but the couple had already left to go pay for the book they were reading and Hana stared at the empty spot in disbelief. "Oh no...! They left! They're gone!" Hana sighed. Now she can't take the picture. Her shoulders slumped. At least... she saw the wonderful sight. It can at least stay in her memory.

Severin regretted. He regretted a lot in his life actually and one of his regrets was approaching Hana in the bookstore. She was crazy. At least he thought she was. He just stared at the crazy girl as she ranted about how adorable these complete random strangers were and how sweet and happy and all that true love bullshit. Then the crazy girl wanted to take a picture of them and surely that could get her arrested for being a stalker!? Severin unconsciously reach for her camera but the couple had left already and Severin relaxed. Thank goodness.

"Why do you have such a creepy hobby? Don't you know you could get arrested for stalking?" Severin asked Hana. "Can't you just find another hobby?" If he thought about it, Hana seemed to never at all be with him every time he spoke to her. The girl had her head in the clouds every time. Suzanne was still worse than her when it came to listening but Hana was close to being as bad as Suzanne.

"I used to think that everyone had what it took to be a main character."

xxHana had already put her camera away and she glanced at Severin who was being such a misunderstanding person! Hana shook her head. "Severin, you've completely misunderstood me! I'm not stalking them. I just like watching them. Because I enjoy watching true love and romantic scenes. It's my joy in life. It's not like I stalk the people forever. I just like to keep pictures of beautiful scenes!" Hana explained. There's a difference after all! Why can't people understand that? Hana isn't creepy!

Although the place was a pretty small town so sometimes she'd run into certain couples that she's seen before and she's already been able to label 8 couples that she kept running into a lot but that was coincidence and not Hana stalking at all. Still, she liked to take some time off to get pictures.
"Obviously photography is my hobby! I like to capture love on a photo!" Hana announced with a grin. Enough about Hana. She's not important. Severin was a main character type of person so she wanted to talk about him! Of course, he was the sad and broken hearted one. She wasn't quite sure about his story but maybe she could play cupid and help him find true love in someone else!

"But are you here to read, Severin? Why are you talking to me? Come on, let's go find your fateful encounter-- I mean, uh... a place for you to sit. Don't mind me! I won't bother you. I'll just kind of... disappear when you find your seat."

Isn't that still the same as stalking? Or at least... creeping? Actually, there weren't any laws against creeping were there? So Hana was in a really grey area. Still, he felt that it would be better if she stopped taking pictures of random strangers. Severin was getting a headache listening to her. She was absolutely naive and delusional about love. She was a really typical romantic girl, was she? Severin just wanted to shatter her happy world and tell her the truth about love and how it was a big pain in the a** and that it didn't exist and that all it ever causes in life are more problems than the short happy feeling is worth. However, Severin didn't have the heart to do such a thing to her. He'll just let her... stay delusional.

"Why don't you just watch romantic movies or read romantic novels. You shouldn't involve other people's personal lives." Severin suggested. However Hana was already changing the subject to him. "Well... yeah I came to re--" He narrowed his eyes at Hana. "Fateful encounter? Look, if you're trying to set me up with some random stranger, I don't want it. Unlike you, I don't have such an optimistic outlook of love."

Severin started to walk away so he could find a place to sit down. He had to make sure there weren't any women nearby or Hana was probably going to ship them both. Taking a seat at an armchair, he was ready to indulge in his books.

((Light, I'm getting sleepy. D< I don't think I can stay up all night like you. I might head to bed soon.))

"I used to think that everyone had what it took to be a main character."

xxHana frowned at Severin. "It's just doesn't work like that Severin. How could you ignore all the love all around us? I just feel so happy seeing other people so happy with each other! It's a really wonderful feeling." Hana explained. Of course, only a side character like Hana who loved to glorify main characters would understand this feeling of enjoying the love around her. Severin was a main character type of guy. He would never understand her.

Oh shoot! Hana covered her mouth when she realize she was speaking about love in front of Severin. He was a heart broken main character! Hana had to give him time to recover! After all, Hana could understand the pain of a broken heart! "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry Severin. I didn't mean to bring it up." Hana said as she followed him as he went to go take a seat. "I mean, I just kind of lost myself in my hobbies there. Don't worry. I won't do anything then. Let fate-- I mean. Uh... you should take your time! Definitely. Take all the time you like."

But hey... maybe Severin was like Hana? Maybe he was actually side character material? She examined him. Well, he was really pretty. It wouldn't work. That's impossible. He was definitely a main character and he probably needed time. Then maybe Hana can help him meet someone. After all, how could he not understand how great love is? She just wanted to show him all her pictures and prove to him that TRUE LOVE was great and wonderful and sweet and completely awesome!

((No! D8< Don't give up, Oz! we need to fix our sleeping schedules! ))
