▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

After the events in the cafeteria, the afternoon passed quickly and easily enough for Lisanna. She returned to her room after finishing her (or rather Kalay’s) food and changed, before deciding to go and try and find someone to go dress shopping with her. She’d eventually come upon Ellale and Tae, whom agreed to accompany her, and another student told them that Nona and Sophia had been seen leaving for town already. With this information the three girls headed into town, their destination being the Winhill Boutique. It was probably the best place to buy clothes, but then again it didn’t have a lot of competition in the small town. Lisanna had been surprised to learn that Nona and Sophia had decided to go together, since for a start Nona didn’t seem like a shopping kind of girl, and she hadn’t known the girls were that friendly with each other. It was interesting to arrive and see the attendants in a state of near fearful anxiety, which Lisanna guessed had to be Nona’s work. A few hours and what felt like a hundred dresses later, the group left to return back to the Garden. Nona had been strangely secretive about her purchase, refusing (with her usual hostility) to show anyone what she had in her nondescript bag. Sophia too had seemed a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it had been a fun afternoon, Lisanna thought, and hopefully it would be a fun evening too.

She didn’t take too long getting ready. In fact, all she had to do was slip into her dress and tie her hair up. She didn’t wear make up, so there was really nothing else to do except go and wait for Kalay by the Reflection Pool, like they had agreed earlier. In her room Lisanna stood in front of her mirror and gave herself a last look over, hoping she looked acceptable. Her dress was floor length and ocean blue, to match her eyes. The ruffles made it look bigger than it was, but it was made of fairly light materials so it was easy enough to move around in. Two pink roses decorated it, one at her waist and one on the strap on her shoulder with little green leaves poking out. Her flyaway snow white hair was merely tied up in a loose pony tail with a blue ribbon on the side of her head. On her feet she wore a pair of high heels, and though they couldn’t be seen beneath the long dress they were the same pretty blue as her ribbon. They were easy enough to walk in but Lisanna knew she’d have to be careful, considering how clumsy she could be. Kalay would probably just laugh at her if she fell over. Finally she smoothed down her skirt and turned away from the mirror. ’I don’t look pretty. I’m too pale and thin for that…I just look ill. But I guess with this dress I’m smart enough to go to a ball…’ She thought with a sigh.

When she felt ready Lisanna left her room and headed down the Garden’s many halls, walking slowly and carefully, until she reached the Reflection Pool. Kalay wasn’t anywhere in sight so she stood and waited, clasping her hands together in front of her and staring pensively into the glittering water below.

{{O.o.c:// }}

After an attempted gathering of the males whom had been with him during the SeeD exam, and a rather lackluster attempt on finding a vehicle (which was actually much easier than one would expect) Kalay had somehow managed to get himself, Riyel, and Lloyd all to Winhill to get tuxes or whatever they wanted to wear. In Kalay's case, it was arguable that he would have gotten anything just with how he didn't seem to care about anything. The trip had gone smoothly, and sure enough upon his return he didn't seem to be carrying anything with him, unlike the two males. They had all gone their separate ways to prepare, the GF Carbuncle following Kalay the whole way like this was a normal occurrence (it was). Eventually the two disappeared into Kalay's room and were not heard of for the rest of the day up until the evening.

Aside from the soft sound of footfalls, the reflection pool was as quiet as ever. The lights had been dimmed by a great amount, mainly due to it being night rather than the ball. Standing around the outside edge, looking in from his vantage point was Kalay. He had certainly cleaned up compared to his usual haphazard, lack of concern state of appearance. His hair was pulled back low as always, though tied with what looked to be some kind of fabric rather than any sort of hairband. His clothing was certainly a rather massive improvement to usual as well. He wore a button up shirt, a light greyish color in the darkness (it's actual color was a lightish blue), and a vest over it buttoned all the way up of a slightly darker shade of blue. His pants, a dark black, were probably the normal of most of the men going to the ball. On the back of his vest off to the side was the only image to the vest, a single green flower stem going up with a white flower blooming on it. If one were to give it a great deal of thought, they would realize his vest was similiar to the sky, so the flower in the corner was for a nice touch, even if a bit random. As always, Carbuncle sat at his side, watching him with red eyes, though looking rather fluffier than usual. "You couldn't resist, could you?" Kalay teased, getting what could best be described as a pout from the GF.

After standing where he was for a good few minutes, Kalay finally picked up what was most likely whom he was looking for standing on a pathway of the reflection pool. Picking up a folder that was sitting next to him, Kalay pushed away from the wall and started his way down the stairs to the pathway. He walked slowly, taking his time as Carbuncle padded along silently next to him. As soon as they were near Lisanna though, the GF bounded off, coming to a stop next to her and staring out onto the water with her, as if this were normal. Kalay walked next to her before leaning on the railing, looking out at the water as he held the folder in his hand out to Lisanna. "You look rather beautiful, Instructor Everett." He commented quietly, trying to not break the quiet of the reflection pool. It might take her a moment to register the words he had just told her, but if she looked at the folder in his hand, it had her name on it. Inside was the mission report from Aurel, and also the stamp of approval for her to be an instructor. As of the graduation of the SeeD cadets, Lisanna Everett was now and instructor like Kalay.

It was at this point that Carbuncle nudged Lisanna's leg to get her attention before sitting and looking up at her. Clearly, regardless of if she was overjoyed about being and instructor the gf wanted her attention for a moment. It was at this point, once her attention was gained if possible, that Carbuncle held up a paw, high in the air. This was perhaps the first time Lisanna had ever seen what was Carbuncle asking for... a high five. Even though he was low to the ground, it seemed like Carbuncle completely expected her to understand what he wanted. "Well, Lis, how does it feel?" Clearly, Kalay was in no hurry to go to the ball, but he seemed content to talk with her at least for a little bit. She'd probably have to drag him to the ball at this rate.

Song(s) of the moment: In the Sky That Night

Lloyd stood in front of his mirror staring at his reflection as if it were to jump out at him any second. He was silent and held a stern look in his eyes. "Sophia...will you DANCE with ME!" he shouted a little louder than intended. "Aw jeez..that's no good either" he sighed completely lost. Earlier that day after he locked up his finished motorcycle Kalay found him, with Riyel, and invited him to go get formal wear for the ball. Lloyd of course agreed and the fellas set out.

They ran into the ladies, and for the second time this day, his heart missed a beat when he saw Sophia. Maybe he was coming down with something? Whatever it was annoyed the living hell out of him. He ended up being all shy and awkward when he was with her. Lloyd of all people! He puffed out his cheeks frustrated with himself. "Come on me! Get ahold of...well me!" the young man said trying to snap out of it. Before the whole examination days ago, he and Sophia could interact just fine..but something was different now.

The blonde glanced at his cat clock hanging on the wall and grumbled a bit. "It already started" he muttered examining his clothing by turning left and right. To make matters worse, he didn't like wearing suits, even if the occasion called for it. But even so he kept adjusting his jacket here and tugging at his hair there.

Eventually he huffed loudly and turned in the mirror for the fifteenth time finally satisfied with his appearance. Before long he exited the room and made his way to the reflective pool. There he saw two people standing there conversing. Upon further inspection it was none other than Kalay and Lisanna. With a gaze upward Lloyd could see the crescent moon cradled in the sky sharing the space with thousands of stars.

Eventually he scrambled to the elevator and abused the button till the doors chimed open. "Oh no.." he said raking his hand across his face. There where his friends from the mechanic shop. They lit up when they saw him and pulled him inside to check out his suit and basically badger him. Lloyd's face became completely red as he tried to drown out their comments and focused on humming to himself. Eventually the doors chimed open and he burst out of the compact space rushing into the extravagant hallway.

"Whoa..." he thought aloud as his friends rushed past him to mingle. Upon entering he was approached by a few instructors and students alike congratulating him on becoming an operative. Unlike his usual boastful behavior, Lloyd was very respectful and thanked them with an uncomfortable smile. Eventually he broke away and made his way to the food table. 'Oh thank god, I need comfort' he thought as he grabbed a few sugary sweets and sat by the table watching the festivities.

Tae gazed at her reflection in the vanity mirror for what seemed like the hundredth time. She and Kitten had gone to meet up with Sophia and Nona to go shopping together however, that didn’t seem to work out. No one had answered the door at the two stood there for a short while before giving up. Perhaps Sophia was too upset and Tae didn’t want to just barge into the room, if it had been unlock. So they went to go to town with just the two of them. On their way to find a ride they bumped into Lisanna, which was perfect really because the woman had also wanted to go dress shopping. With that settled and from another student, Sophia and Nona had already left, the three of them headed out. When they reached the clothing store they’d met up with Sophia and Nona. For a moment she wondered if Sophia was going to be going because she wasn’t trying on any dresses. Perhaps their excitement or maybe she was just waiting till she found something she actually liked the girl began to try on dresses as well. This was a time to look forward not to dwell on things that she couldn’t change.

While they were out she could have sworn that she saw her brother staring at her and Kitten but when she’d looked back a second time he wasn’t there. It was rather strange and kind of creepy. If he was there in town, why hadn’t he bothered to come and talk to her? Why had he kept to himself and the shadows just following them around? She would never understand her brother and his ways.

Taking a deep breath she focused on the task at hand, which was to finish getting ready for the ball that would be starting in a few minutes. Butterflies fluttered around in her stomach as she thought about it. This would be a real dance she would be attending, and with someone she liked. Of course her other friends and people she actually knew would be there as well. Tae kind of wished her mother could have been here to see her. She guessed that pictures would have to do. The pictures would be memories for her parents to share the moment in time with her when they couldn’t be in person to share it with her. She might even have added her brother in the mix but he’d been so cold to for years now. Tae was sure that the kid hated her deep down in his bones. Why? Well, that was a very good question that she wasn’t likely to ever get an answer.

Finishing up with the light make-up and putting her hair up with beads and flowers she smiled at herself. She wasn’t really half that bad, and her dress was a killer on her. If Tae were to give herself a compliment she’d have to say that tonight, she was glowing. Her shade of purple dress flowed to the ground. Her strapless top looked almost like a corset hugging her smaller frame and accentuating her small chest making them appear bigger than they really were, a gold necklace hung from her slender neck, a black stripe on either side of the top matched with black fitting gloves, and to finish it off she had a shade of purple open toed flat shoes. After all she was pretty tall already and her date was shorter than her. She didn’t want to look more like a giant than she already did adding high heels to her.

Picking up a small purple purse to match her dress she picked out the camera holding it out to the side and smiled. The mirror captured her entire body so she didn’t need someone to take a photo of just her. Of course her entire night would be filled with flashes, at least some flashes to add it to her memory book. She’d filled at least two so far since her time being here.

“Alright. Ready to go.”

With that she turned and headed out of her room picking up a corner of her dress so she could walk easier. Stepping out of the room she closed the door locking it up behind her and stuffed the camera back into her purse so she wouldn’t drop it. It was time to go meet up with Ellale.

It had been strange having Tae help her around, but eventually Ellale grew used to the girl helping her along. It was comforting to have her there so much to make sure she wouldn't fall and hurt herself. The two had went to find Sophia, only to not avail, but to luckily run into Lisanna whom had been happy to help them since she too was getting a dress. It was agreed upon, and the three went together to Winhill, where they met Sophia and Nona, and later the boys though they were elsewhere getting clothing. It was difficult for Ellale to pick out a dress so Tae wouldn't see it, but eventually she found one she really liked, though it was strange in how she got it. She had went to go try on a dress when someone had handed her a dress mentioning that some young man had requested her try on the dress. She had, and had liked it, and when she went to buy it, she had already told it had been taken care of by the young man from earlier. She could only vaguely remember Kalay walking out of the store shortly before she had gone to try on the dress, but the most likely person was he.

Later in the evening, after a well needed rest, and another visit to the doctors office so they could clear her from their patient list. She had taken off her clothing, curling up in her warm bed to rest so she wouldn't need Tae to carry her around the ball. She had woken little more than an hour before the ball, standing up and going to look at herself in her mirror. She looked at the few scars she bore, as well as her long hair that went down her back. She gently tugged on it, smiling softly as she closed her eyes. "Tae likes shorter hair..." She commented softly. The girl looked at the dress in the corner, still soundly wrapped up so no one could see it, before glancing at the time and then her mirror again. "Then I suppose...."

An hour later found a figure standing quietly next to the elevators. She had watched Lloyd disappear not to long ago up the elevator, and she could see Kalay and Lisanna talking in the distance. It was dark though, so telling much detail of anyone was hard. Still, with the light of the elevator, the girl standing, shifting often on her feet as if she were uncomfortable, was visible. She would certainly look familiar to someone, at least from the color of her green hair, but that would raise the first point of confusion. Hair that had once went down half the length of her back was cut short, her hair stopping just at the nap of her neck. There was one odd thing about her hair though, the two long strands that were still long compared to the rest, long enough that they could go down to her shoulder. Her dress appeared to be black, until she shifted in the light, at which point the light reflected off was a green color, implying that her dress was a very dark green. Upon touching it, this would make more sense from it's silk like fabric. Her back was exposed, but the dress attacked around her neck with what appeared to be a lace like fabric and at the small of her back was a large bow tied tightly, which made it all the more easy to see the green light reflect off the dress. She wore gloves, though they could almost not be called that form their lack of fabric, though the girl very much enjoyed the fuzzy feeling of them against her hands (they reminded her of cat paws). She had decided to avoid high heels, for fear of falling giving her condition, and wore flats of a dark green. Finally, a top her head rested a head band, not that it was doing much for her hair aside from a cute touch.

Ellale, this very person, shifted nervously once more as she looked around. She wasn't sure if Tae would recognize her or not, and that was a minor fear. She didn't want Tae to walk by and not see her, but perhaps that was a senseless worry considering how close she was to the elevator. She turned her head to glance at Kalay and Lisanna for a moment before letting out an impatient sigh, looking around again as she rocked back and forth on her feet. 'Why am I so nervous? It's not like she's going to ignore me...' The young woman thought nervously. It was rather easy to see that this was completely out of her comfort zone, though so had been cutting her hair but she had managed to do that herself and not make it look haphazard. She was actually quite happy with it, though she did worry she'd get teased for the two long strands.

____________________________________________________

It was a refreshing change, in all honesty. Maybe it was living so long looking kind of grungy, or the fact that the first person he had really talked to in town kind of dressed like him. Then again there was always the possibility that he was going to a fancy party that had spurred the change, but sometime between arguing with Hiro, and then badgering the poor boy to go to the Garden with him, Salem had apparently decided to take a swing at changing his image. After all, he visited the local hair styling place and had much of his glorious, glorious platinum hair just lopped away from himself.

He was so used to it, it was almost depressing. Salem hadn't really treated his hair to a cutting since he ran away from Timber, however had been trimming it now and again so he didn't end up looking like some sort of Yeti with a abundance of hair. But now, now he had most of his hair cut off, though still pretty long by average 'masculine' standards. That was of no matter to him though, as fact of the matter was, if anyone had a problem with how he looked he could point out how he looked better, or more likely melt their face off.

A inappropriate response, certainly, yet sometimes that kind of reaction felt like the only reasonable simultaneously. However, whatever it was, it was done. And returning home shortly for some dress clothes, that fit toward a more military style that Salem assumed would fit a Garden facility more then a tux would. Considering himself to be cleaned up pretty well, the younger Everett sibling found himself renting a car and picking up Hiro, figuring a local with him would make things easier if he ran into difficulty.

Arriving at the Garden, well, for once Salem seemed to break character. Taking a audibly shaky breath, he put on a fake grin, which almost immediately fell into a much more genuine one as he slugged his passenger Hiro on the arm. "C'mon, ya pansy." He said, finding amusement in his own companions hesitation, something that he had already seemingly brushed off. "You're supposed to make me look good by comparison." He joked, not bothering to mention that he was the one that had inspired the change of aesthetic already as it was.

Not bothering with waiting for Hiro's response, Salem reached back and grabbed his violin case, before exiting the car. Tonight was the night of the big bash, and following what he assumed to be other students arriving to attend the festivities, he just kept a small smile on his face as he wandered off following others. Walking through the front, as bold as could be, Salem laughed to himself as he made it inside, just finding such an delicious irony that their enemy had been invited inside, and entered so easily.

Even managing to ignore his own paranoia of his own extreme level of danger he had in this situation, Salem's laughter subsided as he received his first true glimpse at the inside of a Garden. It was a large, and indeed respectable building, gentle on the eyes with calming still water creating a large quadrant like reflective pond with how the walkways intersected across it. Well if anything. Salem thought, his eyes wandering from person to person and item to item, trying to get a sense of reference for the interior of the Garden. Found where all the nice things are.

Slowing to an eventual stop as he walked along the path heading towards the elevator, he placed a arm on the railing and leaned over to look at his reflection in the water. "This place isn't so bad. Wonder why the town doesn't have anything like this." He muttered to himself, momentarily forgetting about Hiro, before brushing his bangs back as he raised his head again, and looked at the boy that he had dragged along with him. "So, seen anyone you like, yet?" He began, a mischievous smile coming to his face as he fully planned to tease the boy.

Riyel "The Quiet One" Vicaria

Now I think I understand
How this world can overcome a man
Like a friend we saw it through
In the end I gave my life for you
Gave you all I had to give
Found a place for me to rest my head
While I may be hard to find
Heard there's peace just on the other side

Not that I could or that I would
Let it burn under my skin, let it burn

Apparently, awkwardness was going to play an even larger part in his life than he first thought. Wonderful. Riyel exited the elevator quietly, his eyes glinting as they absorbed the festivities that were about him. His hands were in his pockets as he spotted individuals that he knew, such as Lloyd. Hm...some weren't here but then again, the Ball had yet to be officially started, didn't it? No matter. Everyone would be here eventually, he surmised. Sucking in a deep breath of air, he let loose a yawn and stretched before sauntering forward into the fray.

The events of earlier today were quite interesting. It was odd, the fact that those memories came up while he was navigating the crowd but it was understandable to a point...he guessed. It was a new experience for him, shopping for suits and whatnot. He had actually hung out with somebody, even though it WAS Lloyd...who was basically a hyperactive two year old in the body of an adult but it was enjoyable nonetheless. They actually spoke about things, holding a conversation but it was when all of them, being Kalay, Lloyd, and himself, came upon the girls, Riyel managed to catch a glimpse of Lloyd catching a glimpse at Sophia. Riyel wasn't Sherlock Holmes by any means, but he could deduce what was running through the other blonde's head. It was a normal thing...and he felt that Sophia probably felt similar emotions but he wasn't sure. Lloyd was just a likable individual.

At that, he simply let loose another yawn before looking around. He stopped by a mirror for a moment and gave a glance at his appearance. He was in a standard suit, a black jacket but with a red undershirt. His shoes were polished to a fine sheen while his pants were basically the perfect fit. A red handkerchief lay in the upper pocket of his jacket and his earrings were taken out and replaced with a single one this time. His fingernails and other such physical features were trimmed and perfected but his hair was the notable difference as well as the scar on his right cheek from the explosion on the bridge. The scar itself simply held on his facial features, marring his face to a point. Yet his hair was...different. It was combed down fully instead of the odd craziness that was generally accustomed to it. It was parted in ways to give the formal touch and it seemed to arch around his face, giving emphasis to his eyes in a way. Formal was a valid look, certainly.

I'm going to have to clean all this up later. He sighed, looking about at the messes that were being made, Just another late night, I guess. Continuing what his grandmother did was the only way Riyel could pay for his clothing and other commodities that he felt necessary...but he was still joked at for it. Brushing himself off, he threw the event over his shoulder in order to sit by Lloyd, a drink in his left hand that he nabbed from a table. He sat there quietly.

Dresses...were eh. But she wore it because it was more or less expected of her. Her black heels clicked and clacked as she maneuvered on the first floor, her red dress sparkling with the various sequins that emphasized her dress. Her hair was combed while held back with another white headband, a rose in her hair and splayed gracefully over her shoulders while her her eyelashes and fingers were manicured. Her lips were blood red but her eyes still glinted with that electric blue iris. It was all a cover more or less but at least she didn't feel to bad. She was told to attend the party and while she was a general tom boy, she knew when to dress well for specific occasions. But that didn't mean she was going to go rushing up the elevator to be a part of it. She could wait, certainly.

With a sigh, she looked over herself in the reflection pool, her arms crossed across her chest. Tonight was going to be...rather, would hopefully be interesting. Quietly, she sat down in a chair by the elevator, looking at the pool quietly. Ivaria sat and thought about was going to happen after today...and it made her shudder at not knowing. Spying Kalay and Lisanna, she watched the two for a moment before turning back to the pool and her own thoughts. She'd seen the two but never spoken to them. Same as she did for most. With a second sigh, she leaned forward and sat her hands on her knees. Things were just...so bizarre at times. And the night had only just begun.

I’ll take you everywhere I go
I’ll show you everything I see
And as we say so long
I know your tears wish me well

Tae walked down the hallway in silence taking things slow. She was nervous, it'd been a while since she'd gone dancing of any sorts and didn't want to make a fool of her self. As long as no one asked her to slow dance she would be fine. All she had to do was just move her body to the beat of the music, right?

She'd moved her way along side of the huge reflection pool. Some people were already standing about down here chatting quietly and gazing at the pool. She tried not to listen to them as she continued her way to the elevator. That was where she was to meet up with Ellale taking the elevator up together.

As she got closer she spotted Lis a smile upon her face as the woman was very pretty in her blue gown. If the other girl glanced her way she would give her an approving nod and grin as her eyes laid upon Ellale's brother. With that she turned away and continued to walk looking for Ellale. Her eyes spotted a lovely looking figure next to the elevator but the closer she came it wasn't the same girl as she'd left to rest earlier that day when they got back from shopping. She'd stopped a few feet away gaping with near shock upon her face.

“Kitten?”

There was something different about her. Not only was she wearing a killer dress, her eyes slowly eating up the image, but she'd cut her hair! Tae's eyes shot back up at her face, that familiar green hair, was now cut short. From where she stood it looked be maybe stop at the nap of her neck, a few strains in front longer and reached her shoulders. She was absolutely... breath taking. If she thought she was beautiful with her long hair, she liked it better short.

It took her a moment before it sunk in. She'd asked if she liked short hair because she was doing it for her? Her eyes started to sting as tears threaten to come. Taking in a slow breath she moved so she was standing next to Ellale a smile upon her face.

“You look absolutely beautiful. ” she said reaching out and took the longer pieces of her hair on the right side letting the strains fall between her fingers. She had not noticed the people around her as they were all tuned out.

What the hell was he doing? he questioned himself for what seemed like the hundredth time. Not only that but how on earth did he let the fool of a male talk him into accompanying him to this stupid ball? He sighed inside of his head as he replayed his mothers excited sounds from the kitchen. Tae had called her and talked almost an hour or more. Girls. He'd never understand them and how they could sit and talk about nothing really that important. Just lots of random stuff. Whatever. That wasn't the horrible thing, it was the fact that this was the same ball she was going to. So he'd have to see her there which he dreaded.

When Salem came to pick him up for this stupid thing he was almost close to just telling the other male that something had come up and he needed to take care of it. But knowing him he would get s**t and asked why or what it was. Which then he'd need to give another lie and he really didn't want to have to keep track of all the lies. He'd already had enough on his plate right now, he didn't really need to add more.

So when Salem punched his arm playfully calling him a pansy he snapped back at him. "I'm not a pansy playboy."

Hiro sighed watching him get out of the car. Make him look good. Ha. Good luck with that. He thought darkly to himself sliding out and slowly following behind his "friend".

He could make it through this thing without having to run into her, right? Sure, he had to believe it to be so. Stepping into the building for the first time he glanced around. He'd seen the outside of the place but he'd never had the gulls to actually go inside. It seemed even bigger.

Without realizing it he'd followed as if he were Salem's shadow before he looked out into the reflection pool. It was then that he spotted his sister, or at least he was sure it was his sister. s**t. Though, she seemed to have not notice him, which was good on his part.

He blinked glancing over at Salem. "Do you?" Hiro inquired trying to switch the playing field. However, he had the feeling he didn't want to know that answer. His eyes wandered back over to his sister as she stopped next to some girl with green hair. The affectionate look and touch she'd given her sent a ripple of disgust in the male.

He quickly moved his gaze else where. there were a few people dressed up still on the main level here which made him wonder where the ball was to be held. He wasn't given much information on the subject so he was in the dark for the most part.

"Oh, what are we, shy?" Salem teased. He had barely been putting any attention back on the boy and yet he had already caught Hiro glancing off, past Salem several times now. With a chuckling laugh, Salem took a few steps around Hiro to his back, and nodded his head for a moment. "I've seen plenty I liked, though someones seemed to have garnered all of your attention." He teased, before immediately gripping Hiro's shoulder and, and pressing his violin case against his back began pushing him forwards against his will. "And if i'm anything it's curious, if not damn charming." Salem joked, soon taking the lead hoping the push forwards he had given Hiro was enough to get him walking on his own.

Honestly it had been hard for him not to have noticed the green haired gal that had wandered in, honestly such a stark color in contrast to the many blacks and whites of 'nice dress'. And for a moment he had assumed that this was the same girl that had garnered his companions attention for the moment up until he finally recognized that there was another girl there. "You take Ms. Emerald, yeah?" For, as far as he knew, that was the one that he had been glancing at. Ah, but yet again he found such a nice little oddity as he got closer and could tell more details out of this other girl.

Yet another person whom had a platinum dye to their hair color, though what really was a stand out was her red, maybe brown eyes that seemed to have a faint glow to them. Drawing attention to those red orbs more then the rest of the girl's frame. "My, my." Salem said, announcing his presence as he came to a stop a short distance from the two girls whom had taken their places near the elevator. "Hello, my lovely maidens." He said, taking the odd intro approach that, if anything, would at least get one's attention before they rolled their eyes in annoyance at Salem. Honestly it was the reaction he was expecting, too much of the time he had gotten attention due to his music rather then personality.

"Now. Fate wouldn't be so cruel as to bring you two beautiful girls to a ball without a pair of gentlemen for companionship, now would it?" He asked, rather straightforwardly. It might seem shallow, but Salem didn't want to put time into trying to get to know who these ladies were just for two lug heads to show up and decide to pick a fight, or some other cliche that his imagination would run away with. Though, little did he knew he was provoking Hiro's nightmare of bringing him to his own sister, which was ironically another thing they had in common.

Hell, if Salem himself had taken enough time to scour the room he might have spotted Lis and some other feller not that great of a distance away as they were in the same room. Even though this place was large, no body was far enough that he couldn't recognize, though years had certainly played it's role in both of their appearances now. Though perhaps a inkling would have been kind enough to tip him off on the shared blood. Especially as it was no secret to him that she was still alive, though such a chance meeting. No, it was too good for just entering this place. Wasn't it?

Eventually, though the wait was no terribly long, Ellale started to relax and calm down, her beating her finally cooling it's jets and letting her relax at least a little bit as she stood around, waiting for Tae. Several people walked by, going up the elevator. Some took the time to notice her standing off to the side, some just glanced, and some had to do a double take to figure out who she was. It wasn't like her green hair was common, but it certainly hadn't been short earlier in the day. She had given her hellos and such to those whom passed by, and after a while she seemed to have calmed a great deal, considering she wasn't shifting back and forth anymore by the time a certain someone had made their way to the elevator. Her eyes had been wandering when they stopped on someone who was standing not that far away, gaping at her. Ellale blinked, her yellow eyes focusing on the person staring, taking the in hair and eyes she knew very well, before realizing that it was Tae staring at her. Neither one of them moved for the moment, which was probably good because had Ellale, she might have tripped all over herself with how Tae was watching her.

Ellale smiled as she watched Tae, giving a notion that she did indeed notice Tae staring at her. It was almost a little embarrassed smile, but she wasn't fidgeting as she stood there. Tae moved closer, almost looking like she was going to cry for a moment as she complemented Ellale, getting an embarrassed blush from the girl, before taking one of the longer strands of hair and letting it rest between her fingers. Now Ellale shifted on her feet, looking very embarrassed as she averted her gaze. " Th-thanks, nya... You don't look half bad yourself either, you know. Purple looks really good on you." Ellale was clearly flustered by the sudden attention and compliment from Tae, but before she could say much else, Ellale felt something... off. She felt... disgust? Ellale blinked, her expression going from embarrassed to startled as she looked around, putting her eyes directly on a pair walking towards them. Without saying anything, Ellale looked at Tae, and then at the two approaching to give her warning that someone was coming up behind her.

Confusion. Complete confusion. Ellale stared at the two with a loss for what to say. The main reason was they both looked familiar, one even more so than he probably normally would have if not for the young woman standing right next to Ellale. "Do I... know... " Ellale was thinking aloud as she hid partially behind Tae, staring at the one whom spoke now. He looked very familiar, from the color of his eyes to his white hair, as well as his facial features, however the one next to him was more so familiar because Tae was standing right next to her, and he looked a lot like Tae. Like they were brother and sister... Ellale glanced at Tae, then back at the speaker, uncertain of how she should respond to his comment. She knew, inadvertently, that he was trying to figure out if they had dates or not likely to ask them. Except... it was unlikely that young man would recognize that the girl standing next to her was her date. So how would one go about explaining that? Not to mention Tae and the one male looked rather close in appearance so... Ellale was at a loss for what to say with the question.

It wasn’t long before Lisanna was daydreaming as she stared at the water, so she didn’t hear Kalay arrive until he suddenly spoke, appearing beside her as if out of nowhere. The girl jumped slightly and put her hand over her heart, startled. ”Oh! You surprised me.” She said, her face relaxing into a smile as she turned to look at him. She saw movement at her feet and glanced down to see Carbuncle too, whom she noticed looked rather fluffier than usual. Then her eyes widened as she realised what Kalay had just said. The first part made her blush shyly, but that was soon forgotten as she focused on what he had called her. ”I-Instructor…? R-Really…?” She stammered, faintly taking the folder he held out to her and staring at it. And there it was, her name in black and white and her stamp of approval. ”I-I didn’t think…it would happen…” She breathed softly. For a moment Lisanna seemed frozen, and then slowly a wide smile broke out on her face. She laughed out loud and threw her arms around Kalay’s neck, hugging him tightly out of sheer happiness before letting him go.

Then she noticed Carbuncle sitting up at her feet, holding up his paw. It almost looked like…he wanted to give her a high five. Lisanna blinked in surprise and then knelt down and gently high fived the little GF’s paw….before scooping him up and hugging him tightly too.
”It feels wonderful!” She said in response to Kalay’s question as she gently set Carbuncle down again, giving him an affectionate scratch behind the ears and standing up. ”Ah…I think this deserves some celebration, so it’s a good thing we have a ball to go to, huh?” She handed Kalay the folder back, assuming that he needed it, and hooked her arm through his. ”You’re looking very dashing tonight, by the way. Even Ellale wouldn’t recognise you.” She teased. Speaking of which, Lisanna could see the girl herself standing near the elevators ahead with Tae. She only recognised her because of the pretty black dress she remembered seeing her try on earlier. It seemed Ellale had felt like getting a haircut to go with her new outfit. There were others too; Lisanna was sure she’d seen Riyel and Lloyd pass by not long ago.

As she gave Kalay’s arm a gentle tug to get him to walk with her, someone else caught her eye. Two boys…but one of them seemed strangely familiar. With long-ish platinum hair and blue eyes as bright a blue as her own, he held an eerie resemblance to herself. She’d never seen him around the Garden before, but since he was carrying a violin case she guessed he must be one of the musicians. The girl stared at him as he headed towards the elevator, then shook her head and looked back at Kalay.
”I…ah…shall we go?” She finally managed to say, sounding distracted. But her eyes soon returned to the white haired boy, a slight frown appearing on her face as he and his friend appeared to start talking to Tae and Ellale. ”Kal…do you think those guys are bothering them…?” Lis nodded towards the four. Ellale appeared to be hiding behind Tae, which was strange. It did indeed look as if the boys attention was unwanted.

Shy? Hiro made a "psh" sound in reply to the question. He wasn't shy about talking with people or girls. The fact of the matter was that he just didn't want to talk to them. There was a big difference there. "No."

Hiro followed Salem with his eyes for a moment before he allowed them to wander the place once more. Before he knew it though the boy had grabbed his shoulder and then pushed him forward. His eyes widened slightly from surprise before narrowing as he stumbled forward. Luckily he managed to not fall on his face. Charming?

He wasn't liking this one bit. If he was an animal his hair would be bristling outwards to show his displeasure about being pushed around. Though, for his own sake he moved forward without having to be pushed, but it didn't take long before Salem was out in the lead again.

Noticing that they were headed towards the elevators he assumed that they were going to get on it. At the same time though that was where Tae was with... "What?" Hiro asked before they stopped by the girls. Boy this was going to get rather awkward fast. Though, he suppose he should have been glad he didn't ask him to hit on his own sister. As that thought went through his mind he surely didn't want Salem hitting on her either! What a tight corner he'd found himself in. He didn't know which was worse; him having to be there, the two girls looking at them like that, the fact that Tae had recognized him, or that he was hanging out with a male that only cared about lovely ladies.

If things couldn't get worse than they were "Emerald" as Salem referred to her as kept staring between them like a lost and afraid little kitten or bunny... some helpless animal. Least that was what he felt as he took her in as she hid behind his sister. Did she think that Tae would hide and protect her? Did she need protecting?

It took a lot to keep a semi friendly manor towards them. All he wanted to do now was just leave. He new Tae would probably come up with something smart to say which probably would end up ticking him off. And "Emerald" wasn't helping his mood any. Maybe if he stared at her she would shrink away from them. He could only hope.

Tae smiled upon the blush that formed on Ellale's cheeks. It looked quite adorable on her. “You're welcome.” The girl started to say before her smile wanned a bit watching the emotions play across her friend and date's face.

Tae tilted her head ever so slightly to the side. “What's wrong?” she asked curious as to the sudden change.

Taking the silent hint from her companions expression she turned to stare at a male who had grey, no blue eyes; almost like Lis with the same color of hair as the girl too, approach them. She stared at him for a moment before she realized it wasn't just him that had approached them but another male to. Though, not just any male she realized, her brother. What was he doing here?

She took in the case that the other boy held and guess that they would be playing for the ball that would be starting soon. Questions burned inside of her as her own cheeks started to color a shade of pink but now wasn't the time to ask them.

Right now she was dealing with this... male. Her eyes didn't give anything away as she listened to him speak. It was nice of him to compliment them but that was just to break the ice. “And who ever said that a pair of beautiful girls needed the companionship of a pair of boys?" Her eyes glanced at both Salem and Hiro; narrowing slightly on him, before she moved her gaze back to Salem. Her tone was pleasant enough and polite.
