Madison burst out laughing in a sudden hail of giggles. "YOUR NAME IS WASH BUTTS??? You have the funniest name EVER EVER EVER!" It really was the funniest, right? Wasn't it?

Part of her doubted this extremely, but the rest of her was cracking up. "I'm Maddie, Mister Wash Butts! Wait... wait wait wait... if you... fart in the tub you get bubbles!"

... Wait, what? Kouki said, finally getting over himself enough to start questioning what was going on.

Somewhere behind Caelius' back, Gale was doing this:



Then he felt someone tugging at his pants, and, glancing down, saw it was Jerry, looking rather pitiful in his oversized specs and enormous clothes, which were flopping about his ankles. The hallway was loud with the sounds of everything going on, from laughter, to crying, to swearing like a sailor on leave if you were Caelius - and Gale had to duck down with Eva on his back to listen to what Jerry was saying.

"You have to - what - I'm sorry, I can't hear........."

He stopped. And internally groaned.

"Er. Right then. Lemme just..."

He looked around for someone to help him, realized he was the only adult in the room (Caelius did not count), and sighed.

Something told him this day was going to be very, very long.

"Er. Right. Give me a moment, then," he said to Jerry, trying to figure out what to do.

Flushed and preening with her own success, Clarice only gave Robert a pat on the arm, "It's okay Robert, you did really well." For a moment she tried to dust off his shirt so he didn't look too grubby for the doctor, but quickly gave it up for a lost cause.

"Now let's go find the doctor, I bet he's in his office and can fix everything right away." She was going to say that he'd probably help the boy with the puke problem, but in all honesty, they both knew he wouldn't help at all with that sort of problem.

"I, no," his face turned darker as he flushed brilliantly. His little hands balled into fists and he clung to his jeans. He probably looked RIDICULOUS... And in front of a girl. It was exceedingly shameful. After all, girls were DUMB. How could he have liked her hair? It was obviously SILLY LOOKING.

And then she turned the discussion completely around again. He had to admit to himself, he thought, relaxing, fart bubbles were pretty funny. Girls were so WEIRD!

"Heehee, yeah. An' m'name's NOT Butts, OKAY?" he said, the last coming out in a whine.

"HEY," he began earnestly, suddenly inspired with a burning desire to impress, "You wanna see somefin' cool? I can BURP the ALPHABET."

And without waiting for an answer, he began his educational monologue.

"A..." He would NOT be remembered as Mister Wash Butts.

"Oooh..." Madison stared in growing awe, even as Kouki mentally recoiled in growing horror. "Wait, wait but... hee hee, butt... but Mister Wash Butts! It'd be better if you... if you..." She leaned in, lowering her voice in a conspiratorial fashion.

"Farted the alphabet!"

Then she rocked back on her heels, clapping her hands over her mouth, but her eyes were bright with muffled laughter.

Jerry nodded, lips still pursed as he glanced to his miniaturized friends and back up to him, waiting patiently for all of two seconds before the pee-pee-dance began. Finally, he had to take matters into his own hands. So to speak. He at least had sort of announced where he was going, right? No one would get mad if he just... scooted... alright, tripped and ran frantically back towards his room.

At least Gale had been spared that responsibility.

Unfortunately, by the time he had finished up, taken some time to find a rubber band for his glasses and moved Wash's shoelace to keep his pants up, he had discovered.... something else in his room. Left over from Christmas from his new friend Deryk. Something.... magnificent.

The sound of a trumpeting kazoo proceeded his victorious, bladder-emptied march back out into the hallway, dragging what now felt like a huge sack of kazoos behind him.

Robert let her pat the dirt off his shirt, but dirt would never stay too far from Robert. Within minutes of his child-ing, he'd managed to get a nice sheen of dirt over his whole body, including the sun kissed blonde hair that stuck out on all sides of his head in pretty little curls. He wiped his mouth with the back of his arm and sniffed, trying to look all strong and tough, but just ending up dirty and silly.

"Ya, okay. I gotcher back." Where she walked, he would follow, like a little, dirty bodyguard.
