The Riolu was hurt ...and hurt pretty badly by the attack as he rolled around in the grass to put out the flames as he got back to his feet. His eyes were shining quite beautifully as he looks at his opponent.
That hurt, that hurt alot ....but as the trainer asked about his wellbeing he had to snort lightly.
Wiping the blood from a blustering and bloody wound over his right eye. Did he look okay? He had been burnt and badly ...he had burn wounds over most of his body ...of course he wasn't alright.
Though it was in moments like these that he felt the most thrill. True he could back down, but what would be the point in that ...especially considering that he had the opening to attack now.
He had taken a risk before, and it hadn't pay off. That pokemon's flames were too hot ...as his tail dances from one side to another.
His ears went flat ...in a moment, it would be that boy's pokemon that has something to worry about in terms of health. With one skip, he would rush froward once more with Cross Chop.

It was a move designed to lame, and the boy recognize it as he moves his leg. It wouldn't be enough to prevent that thrust for catching him in the calf, but, he knew he would be without the use of his leg completely if he hadn't sacrificed it with that shift. The blade going through as Alex saw his own opening.
With that sword piercing one place, that meant ...he was open to other attacks as one of the knives would fly from his hand. He didn't need them both anyway ...as he sent it aimed for the boy's shoulder. The same one that held the sword ...in an effort to take him down and to get relief from that piercing blow as well.
Yes, this was a lot of fun, but he had to watch the injuries. His greatness can't take anything that could possible stop his rise to power.
"So, you are better ....I see." "But, such a sword, if it is suppose to be past on to greatness should be better in my hands.'' "Though, I have never like such crude weapons."
The boy would declares haughtly to Raven's own description of his past with that sword or at least the sword's short past.
(1/5)
Though he wasn't the only one in battle as Blade would smile at the Charmander's own dismay. He would allow the flame on his leg to fall away as he puts it back on the ground and smiles.
(Tut, Tut)
He would wave one finger at the retreating pokemon as the Charmander seeked to gain more room. Though that wouldn't do at all ...as the Riolu seemed to almost disappear from the spot ....as he finished his last tut. A knee towards the head would come from the side as if from no where as the pokemon would either go over or ram into him. Landing on the ground, a quick leg sweep followed by a single punch towards what he figured might be a spinning target if the Charmander wasn't fast enough to avoid.
Blade was showing off for sure this time.
Roll# 1- Alex Roll# 2 - Blade
(A few things I want to point out, Blade used Quick Attack. And there is no partner cooperation in this battle ...the two are fighting separately))

Blaze was knocked down several feet back. Tsuki smiled and said "Good. I'd be disappointed if you backed down. But I'll shut up. Blaze use Night Slash." Blazes right hand started of glow a very dark light. Imagine a black light for a hand. It looked kind of like that. The Heatmor responded by thrusting his arm at the Riolu full force. Best not to focus on only fire. Had to hand combat would be needed in battles to come.
At least this foe wasn't a wimp. Unlike the Durant he could hold his ground in a match. That said they should exercise caution when fighting. One splash can affect the tide!

((Damn on the Quick-attack...though I figured, and I'd also long since predicted that second part. Which is good, cause otherwise I would be sooo hoooooosed.))
(18 - 9) + (13 - 10) = 12 DMG
Fable HP: 6"Tch" A sharp, cluck of the tongue came from Raven as he adjusted his grip upon the hilt "It is passed through bloodline, not power. Forged for our hand in fires long gone from our lands" The boy stated, shifting his position. He could fight well enough with the use of only one arm, however his sword was a b*****d, best used with two if one lacked a shield.
Lifting his sword, Raven angled the blade in an attempt to deflect the blow. There was a good chance the action would cause the knife to strike elsewhere, but that was a chance he would have to take...
For an instant, Fable ceased to breath as his body hit the floor, battered and beaten. His tail flame burned low, smouldering for a time in reflection of the Charmander's weakened state...suddenly, the fire burst into an inferno, a feral reptilian hiss coming from the Fire-Types mouth as he began to rise.
His eyes had turned red, the flame of his life growing many times it's normal size as it was fed by his boundless rage. He would make certain this Riolu paid the price for that attack...a heavy price indeed.
Roaring his fury...his boundless, ever growing fury...Fable would charge forward at his opponent rather blindly, lowering his head as if he simply planned on ramming straight into the young Fighting-Type. Yet as he came within inches of the Riolu, his weight shifted, one foot halting entirely as he pivoted sharply. Bringing his tail around, the Charmander through the tail flame, aiming to strike his opponent in the side with a Fire Punch!
Hopefully, this time he would succeed. [Roll#1: Raven/Roll#2: Fable]

HP: -5
The little Riolu would feel his chest cut open as blood leaked out of his wounds. His ears went flat as he looked at the pokemon's strike ....as he wobbles a bit on his legs before he fell face down in the grass. His entire body was squash flat as the pokemon fainted.
Laying low in the grasses ...his eyes would close as this entire thing came to an end. The battle was over and the Heatmor had won .....and his victim lay down in the dirt with his eyes spinning.

It would do as he wished ...as Alex would find relief the blade being pulled from his calf in that attempt to block. The slight movement would keep the blade out of his shoulder as it would itself embedded in the boy's arm instead.
Not enough as deep as Alex had wished, but it was enough to bring that attack to an end.
As he smiles lightly.
"So, it has to be from your bloodline?" "Well, you have a sister?"
The boy would asks as he slides forward. He wasn't interested in attack now, no he ....was quite competent with one knife but so much more deadly with two. Thus he was going to retrieve his knife as he rushes forward one hand pose to grab that blade from Raven's arm as he risk the damage to bring them both in close. While the other knife was drew across his own chest ...so that he could quickly shift it to parry whatever move Raven might have next in store for him.
It had been a good hit ....as the Riolu would skip backwards. A smile was on his face to match that of his movements ...and even as he saw the attack coming. HIs tail would swish back and forth behind him ...he wasn't going to allow it to hit any more than the first.
Though he could see the anger and rage in this attack, and knew it was bes to flee rather than to fight.
He would aim to avoid the strike by moving to the side of the heated attack.

Walking over Tsuki checked if the Pokemon was still alive. Barely. He sighed. If the Riolu got eaten while this weak he'd have it over his head. Looks like they were paying the Joys a visit after all. Picking up the Pokemon mumbled "Cmon." as they headed back to town.

Returning Blaze he walked into town. Tsuki looked around until he found the familiar Pokemon Center. He almost thought about not going in. But he swallowed his pride for the injured Pokemon. He opened the door and walked in quickly. When no one else was in the line he walked up. "Excuse me could you heal this Riolu? I have a Potion to pay for it." he said showing the Pokemon. He was bruised up ad knocked out.

((Question, as it was never discussed what would the rules on substitution be? By which I mean switching.))
(12 - 7) + (12 - 10) = 7 DMG
Blade HP: 13Raven's initial response would come in the form of a deep, uncontrolled shudder; one which travelled straight down to his soul. "Several" The boy would groan these words, moments before his opponent put his next plan into action.
Of course for every plan, their existed a counter. Even if it pained him, so long as that knife was in his arms, it was out of the hands of his opponent. In a location where even this boy could not easily retrieved it. Raven greatly wished to keep it that way.
Though he hated to do it, the boy would quickly reached to the clasp of his cloak with one hand. Once the ho-oh emblem was undone, he quickly grabbed a handful of the cloth, pulling it forward and tossing it in the direction of Alex. Seconds after the initial throw, the air would catch upon the blazing red cloak, causing it to spread out and block Raven from view. A simple distracting tactic meant to take the opponents eyes off him...even for only a moment.
Darting forward, Raven would go left, sweeping his sword to strike out at his opponents leg once more. The same leg he'd previously tried to hamstring. This time however, his target was the knee.
The Riolu would find soon enough that even he was not quick enough to outrun Fable's rage. The Fire Punch would hammer into Blade like a blacksmith striking an anvil. Though the damage dealt was not as significant as that received by the Charmander, it would be more then sufficient to prove this battle was far from over.
Tail sweeping across the ground, Fable would back-peddle after making certain of the damage he had caused. Bending his legs, and angling his tail to keep it from harms way, the Charmander would await his opponents next blow. He could run...flee...try to evade...that would be the smart thing...but his anger would not allow it. He would not run from this foe, even to dodge. He would simply take it, thicken his hide by virtue of multiple blows. If one could not feel pain, then it held no power.[Roll#1: Raven/Roll#2: Fable]

(2/5) - Alex (2/5) - Raven
The lost of his target for a moment would make Alex hesitate, and that was all it took. The move would work as the boy screamed out ..it couldn't be help as that blade found his knee. He would forget his blade for the moment ....as one hand went to the wound as for a moment his world was nothing but red hot pain. There was a lot of vunerable places on the body, but there wasn't nothing like a shot to the knee.
Blood drip between his fingers as the boy would take a few deep breathes for he looks up and at Raven again.
"Any of them pretty?"
The boy was indeed single minded ....as he would smile only once before his hand shot again. Though he wasn't going to simply throw away his only weapon again ...this was an old trick that is used only when a knife user's mobility is called into question.
A simple cord around the base of the hilt ...makes it so that for a short distance it can be thrown and retrieved ...as it would seem that Alex also believes in an eye for a eye as he aimed for the same area he had been harmed.
The Riolu actually went head over tail once as he hit the ground solidly on his rear end. His eyes would blink lightly as he touches his skin where the flames had at one time billowed and connected solidly against.
He wasn't burn, but that Charmander had literally left his print on him ...as the pokemon got back to his feet dusting himself off. He wasn't happy about that at all ...a red flaming fist was imprinted on his chest.
As takes one hand and flick his ear ...a show of anger even though the Riolu would seem to be a calm as ice.
He gave one small smile ....as he would seem to vanish again. His entire form seeming to only shimmer once as he came to the Charmander's side, but if he was expecting the same move as before he would be sorely mistaken as the pokemon gave himself one swift and powerful spin. He allowed his entire body to rotate on leg as the other was held upwards, and then ....he would shift legs as he tries and go with a kick to the Charmander's head using Blaze Kick.
He wouldn't allow that pokemon to make a fool of him, especially not now.

He was in luck with which Nurse was there as she looks at him and reaches for the pokemon ...though she would stopped short.
"This pokemon is wild." "You don't have to pay to heal an hurt wild pokemon ...just your own."
She would tell him as she reaches for the Riolu and actually turns down his potion.
"It's why we require a toll from trainers." "We can't afford to take charity cases like this without those healing items."
SHe told him as she took the Riolu to the back. A pokemon like that couldn't be healed on the machines, which is how most tamed pokemon are healed. Something that is free and without any penalties, but a wild pokemon would require a revive and a potion to heal their wounds.
Things that they couldn't always afford.
Thus, Tsuki is left waiting.

"Fat as a Milktank, round as the Moon" Came Raven's typically straight forward reply. A rather apt description for two out of three of his sisters; the ones whom had taken after their father's eating habits. The third...well he'd sooner plunge his sword into this boy's throat before letting him get anywhere near her. All his brother's would do the same...if for different reasons then his own.
Readjusting his grip upon the hilt of his sword, Raven would take one step back, initially planning to leap back and to the side, out of the way of the throw; but then he caught sight of it, that thin strong string attached to his opponent's weapon. That was it...his chance!
Lowering his weapon slightly, the Raven would swipe his sword through the air, aiming to severe the string around the knife. If he could manage that, then his opponent would be disarmed...albeit temporarily. Still, that would prevent him from blocking when he next struck...and evasion only got one so far!
Blade was about to receive quite the surprise, as one scaly claws hand came up and caught the Riolu's foot. Secreting his natural oils, the fires of the Blaze Kick would spread to the Charmander's arm, igniting it. A savage glint would appear in Fable's eye then, as his mouth opened to reveal a series of pointed fangs in what passed for a wicked smile.
Pivoting sharply to give it some momentum, the scarred Charmander would bring his flame engorged fist around to strike the Riolu. He was about to give him another taste of Fire Punch![Roll#1: Raven/Roll#2: Fable]

Tsuki took out a pen and write now some numbers in a slip he had. "Can you call me when he recovers or not?" Tsuki asked as he put the slip on the counter. With that he left the center as he said thanks to her.he left town once more to train outside the town. He sent out Archer. The Cyndaquil glared at him. The trainer sighed. If he had a chance to be strong he'd have to befriend. For if he couldn't gain the fire types trust then he didn't deserve to be a trainer.
