Ark looked up to see the rat. "He looks more like a Macduff, if you ask me," he said, putting his head back down with another yawn. "is that a domesticated rat, or just one you found around the house?"

Ark leaned back a bit and crossed his arms. "I like my work. And I like hanging out with my sisters, music, reading, and being around animals," he said. "I don't like people much."

Ark got out of bed in a bit of a rush, thinking he had overslept. He went into the main area of the house, slightly tripping over himself. It wasn't until he was in the kitchen he remembered he was just fine with regards to the time, since he had cut his commute by fifteen minutes. With a sigh, he sat at the table without saying anything. He didn't want to be awake at all.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nezumi was singing and frying up some eggs and bacon. He had two cups of fresh coffee and OJ on the table, as well as a couple slices of toast. He didn't hear the other come into the kitchen, so he didn't turn from the stove.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ark sighed deeply and slammed his arms on the table, and then his head on top of them. "Good morning," he grumbled, still half-asleep. He mumbled something else as an afterthought, but it was mostly incomprehensible.
