[[REUBEN IS CURRENTLY IN: DEAD END ZONE A.]] It didn't take long before he was on the move again after he had the time he needed to recover and flick away the last of the projectiles that pierced him. Gripping his folding chair weapon in a tighter grasp in his other hand he moved forward with determination to reach some sort of conclusion somewhere. Left. Right. Left. Left. Hang a right.
...Dead end.
A soft hissing noise caught his ear, "What ya suppose that is, Kon?"
{Dunno and I don't wanna know.} The Yeti responded sounding almost irritated, {I think we should move on.}
He nodded as he turned and tried to untangle the mess he was in as he spoke into the headset. Everyone via Headset " Feelin' more lost than a sinn'a in a church. How's everyone else doin'?"

[ LABYRINTH CENTER ]
Warden gave Billie a suspicious sort of look.
"Were you behind me the entire time?" he asked her, cocking his head to the side and lifting a brow, his hands on his hips as though he were a questioning husband (he might as well have been).
Inside the center was covered with runes and glyphs, none of which Warden could read. He reached over to one, absently tracing his fingers along one particular image - a gruesome, fiery one that was not exactly reassuring in their current situation.
"What do you think they mean?" he murmured, half to himself, half to Billie and to anyone that was nearby. The Moon hunter had stepped towards another sun hunter a few feet away, leaning against her staff and speaking quietly to him.
To Warden's right was Velda, the Division Leader for the Life Hunters. Idly he spun one of the sai swords in his hands around as he walked towards her, feeling the pressure of the air sinking into his skin.
"What are these?" he asked her, but then he lapsed into a tense silence, unsure of whether or not he actually wanted to know.
His headset crackled; an unfamiliar voice came into hearing. Warden flicked the switch, turning his head.Pales What's your name? A few of us are in the center already; where are you?

[[DEAD END ZONE B]]Julien kept looping around back to this dead end and he was beyond frustrated. He crouched down somewhere and put his back to the cool wall of the dead end area. He had Robert balanced on his knees, his right hand resting along the golden hilt of the thing.
I know, I know Robert. I just can't find my way out of here. It's like it just leads back to the dead end. Got any better ideas than keeping up the footwork?
Ha, of course.
And then his headset sounded with a voice he knew pretty well. A smirk appeared on his pale thin lips and he nodded slightly to himself. At least there would be someone out there who he could talk to. He spoke into the headset so the other could hear him loud and clear.
Pales "Hey there big guy, I'm just as lost as you are. Never seen a more confusing place in my life. Keeping it together man?"

[[JARED is in TRAP ZONE B]] Jared had sat himself against a wall, Sloan now lying across him lap, body shaking. Injured and nearly crushed withing ten minutes? This maze obviously wanted him dead.

< Don't go hurting my feelings now Jared. That might just be the last thing you'll ever say to me. >

Hearing an unfamiliar voice over his headset, Jared almost left it alone. Almost. Then he remember how nice it was to hear his comrades speaking in previous missions, knowing they were okay. It was good for morale.

[[REUBEN IS CURRENTLY IN: DEAD END ZONE A.]] Ah. Voices that were outside of the one in his head. He gazed around briefly to try and answer a question put to him taking a moment to rest instead of walking any further, he needed to figure out his north from his south if at all possible. He spoke in the headset responding to the first voice he heard but didn't exactly recognize. kuromeez " 'M Reuben. Pleased to meet ya. I uh. I just got done meetin' a dead end. I ain't got the foggiest where I am righ' now. Hopefully I'll find ya'll soon." ktqueen " Y'know me. Ain't much that gets me all ruffled, Julien. I just gotta keep at it. Don't you give up, a'ight?" Carhop Cavalier " Careful out there, son. Real careful. Don't go keep gettin' yerself in that sit'chu'ation if'n ya can help it. We need eachoth'a in one piece."

[[TRAP ZONE B]]pales 'No man, never. I'm never gunna give up. Got Mya waiting on the other side, ya know?" There was a desperate tone about his voice. He was never going to stop fighting. Julien had plenty to fight for. Mya was waiting for him on the other side, and he was sure that Reuben had heard too many stories about his woman before. He stood up and kept Robert in a tight grip. Loosing one's weapon was a rather stupid thing to do at this point in time. It would literally mean life or death. Keeping up with the footwork he tried to go in a different direction, only to stumble into total darkness. Literally total darkness. Julien squinted into the darkness and tried to figure out where the hell he was. He couldn't even see a damned thing. He reached out with his left hand and suddenly felt the wall on the other side. Was this place getting smaller?? This was not a good thing for such a tall dude. In fact, his head hit on the ceiling suddenly. WHAT WAS GOING ON? Everyone "Are the walls getting smaller for anyone else?! I swear there was more room than this a moment ago."

[ LABYRINTH CENTER ] One second ago, Titania could've sworn she was following behind the other hunters, but she one moment she was bringing up the rear, purposefully scanning their flanks, and the next, when she turned back toward her companions, they were already gone -- somewhere ahead of her. Titania frown thinned when she heard a pained cry somewhere up ahead, and hastened her pace.... Only to turn a corner to find herself in the a small gathering of hunters, Liam and Velda themselves pouring over the glowing runes along labyrinth walls. Blast, of course, once she's found companions she'd lose them only to find her final destination! Elaine and Syusaki Headset: I--- I think I took a wrong turn somewhere, but I'm at the center. You guys should double back. I'm going to report in first. Let me know if you need any help, maybe I can remember some landmarks... Well, nothing to be done about the at the moment. There was always the next objective. Adam watched a bit confusedly as Lowe left the group. Well, so much for staying together. It seemed as if the hug had somehow messed with his head. Oh well. He waved to the man from the cafeteria who appeared again after leaving as well.
"Welcome back," was all he offered before turning again to Isaac, "I'd rather not get separated again, right. I know there's methods to get through mazes, but I'm not sure how they'll work on otherworldly versions. Follow the right side... or considering how turned-around we are, maybe the left. I wish there was some way to mark where we had been." Wait. What, hold on. Was the room getting... smaller?! Panic gripped Adam briefly. "We have to get out of here."

The voices seemed to be just ahead, and where there were voices there had to be the others right? At least that was what he assured himself as he hobbled, still now and then cursing his knee, ever onwards through the clinging mist. Argyle was still unsettled, he could tell, and that only served to have him even more on edge, jumping at shadows.
Are you sure those are human voices David? she asked him tenatively. "Er. I'm not sure." he replied, his voice seeming weak and drained in the unnatural place. "But they are just up ahead." he plodded onwards further and further... until he found himself at yet another dead end, frowning unsteadily. "But they were just...they were just here."
And so it was that Dave managed to leave one dead end behind..only to find another. This time it was his turn to suggest that they left as soon as possible.

Dead End Zone A Bradly had walked along with the others, slightly paler due to a certain Life Leader dismantling a tamagotchi of his, and was now ready to sneak away as best he could. As it was, he still had an uncharged weapon, and when the bat solidified in his hands, he glanced to the other weapons with a hint of envy in their charged battery. "Aw, shiz. This is lame. People be hoggin all the freaks while I be with this limp battery."
A lick of energy flickered from the bat. Dorin wasn't pleased.
"I know, brah!" He huffed, taking his pack and walking off. "We'll just find something to smack sideways." What he found was not anything to improve his mood, and he looked up at a dead end.
"What the hell-i-o?! I ain't no lab rat, Secret of Nihm, Mr. Squeekers pet! Someone give me a cannon to blow though this wall. Go straight up super hero on it." He tapped the dead end with his bat. Yeah. It was pretty solid.

[[REUBEN IS CURRENTLY IN: LABYRINTH CENTER.]] He resumed walking once he seemed more aware of his surroundings his fingertips gripping onto his weapon as he meandered forward listening to the voices within his headset and not within his head. Kon was going on about some sort of battle story that Reuben was pretty sure was all made up because even for Yeti they were a bit outrageous amongst other reasons. There was a pause before there seemed to be an update and it made him blink a little. ktqueen " Now don't go gettin' yerself squished either, Son."
Reuben wasn't sure he was any good with searching but he'd certainly try if he was pointed at a place to look.

[Dead End Zone A] Of course Elaine didn't actually know the way out and as such she walked right into the dead end again and frowned as her weapon's agitation grew. The hissing was starting to make her feel just as worried and she turned back to the others. "Well...this is obviously the wrong way." She tried not to let her concern color her voice. - Let's just get the heck out of here before we get bushwhacked...again. -
I can assure you Arina I would like to do just that, but it isn't as simple as you seem to believe. I don't have any adequate research or notes about this place.
- So? Work WITH the other hunters, they can be like your pack and maybe you can all make it out of here alive. Stop being such a lone wolf. -
I am not a lupine of any kind and I don't function well within a 'pack' as you well know, such social intricacies fascinate me but I prefer to observe not engage. Now hush so I can try and get us out of here.

The sun hunter looked down at the pole callously and back at Em.
He would have really liked to reach out to grab her pole but that ... would have certain repercussions.
Shut up
Y-ea... wait what?
Dom leaned in just enough so that he could whisper into her ear.
“Look, I like to play games too but let's leave that for when we get back outside yea?” The hunter paused for a moment before continuing. “- Or you could try guessing my name for now,” he gave her a smirk and looked down at the runes on the ground.
“Whaddya suppose those mean?”

[[LABYRINTH CENTER]]Being in a tight situation wasn't something the very tall Julien Bond was looking forward to. He managed to turn back around and squeeze out the way he had come. He needed to go to a whole new direction, and thus just picked a random way and just went with it. The pale man ran with Robert still in his right hand, and somehow ended up where he was supposed to be! Grinning from ear to ear, Julien looked around the entire area and tried to understand the symbols/runes... and utterly failed. He sighed, tried to relax for a moment and mingled into the group of hunters gathered in the center of this all before spotting someone he had been speaking to: Reuben. "Hey there big guy!" He walked up to Reuben and slapped him lightly, friendly like on the back with a grin on his pale lips. "I swear it's crazy around here! Glad to actually see you in person instead of over the headset... I... I gotta ask you something Reuben." He really didn't have any other friends, and even his friendship with Reuben was a little weird. And maybe he was being over dramatic here, but that was just how Julien rolled. He looked around, then reached up to cover his headset mic with one hand carefully. "Reuben... if... if I don't make it back for some reason, whatever reason, can you... could you make sure Mya's okay? Please? Consider it my pre-death request should it happen... I just... I can't just leave her without anyone's shoulder to cry on man. Please?"
