Upon being placed in Ash's apron pocket, Thackery squirmed around until he was suitably comfortable, poking his paws over the top. He was just in time to catch the visual of the keys forcing themselves into the students' chests, prompting him to glance worriedly down at the key around his neck. Seemed okay. He instinctively ducked as he heard something sailing overhead; whatever it was posed no immediate threat to him, but his common sense was currently lacking. Heavily. Proving just how helpful he could be, he leered at the red-tinged students, growling menacingly in their direction. My HP: 13/30 My Status: a-okay My Target: - Damage Dealt: - Collective Damage to Boss: - Anything attacked/attackers should note: In Ash's pocket, will probably gnaw on any bad things that come near

But there was no time now to go back for Mei as the sky grew even darker and the demonic force started to control students left and right. "Demi we're gonna have to go back to get her later right now we-"
the next thing the half beast saw was Riley throwing an exploding bird thing in another student's face. AS UNFUNNY AS IT WAS, he couldn't help a chuckle. What??
"Alright ******** this is not good we gotta stop the thingy up there maybe the ******** snow will GO THE ******** AWAY RAGGWAGAAAAAAAAARGH!!" Whatever steroids Bul took before the snow invasion seemed to still be working. Despite having fainted prior to this new battle from using his Fear too much, the half beast managed to summon a disgusting armory of snotballs in which he hurled one after the other in the air at the thing in the sky. Bloody snot goop was errwhere.

Savior just happened to smell him before she saw him, a certain puppy turned...puppy that was now in the pocket of something super huge. That really didn't matter to Savior though, nor did the strange voices and the attacking students. It could all easily be ignored or passed off as just the normal weird stuff and Savior tromped her way over to where she was sure she heard/saw/could smell her favorite Puppy.
"Puppy." She was looking at Ash, almost as if she didn't see Thackery tucked in there somewhere. He had to be there though and maybe he'd come out if she looked hard enough and ignored everything around her hard enough. "Wut."

 Petro's brown eyes widened when keys suddenly began to slam into students. They... changed and suddenly began attacking Sheridan!
"Look out!" he yelled out to his friend and charged forward with the intention of knocking away one of the changed students aiming for the celestial dragon.

If a giant form talking in the sky wasn't horrible enough, his friends being used as puppets was. The reaper inhaled sharply, scared of what might happen if they lost this fight. With a shaky step back, Mot steeled his courage and summoned both guns. He aimed to the best of his abilities, but when he fired a few shots, they all missed.

Tybalt was not amused to find that there was yet another creature to fight and even less amused that it had taken control of some of the students. Not that he didn't like the excuse of being able to hit fellow students and get away with it. Oh no, he liked that part. What he didn't like, was that it was because this creature was forcing them to do so.
It kind of sapped the fun out of it.
"Why does this one have to be so damn high up?" He demanded, looking rather offended that it wasn't down closer to the ground where he could reach it. Being a creature without wings and only one long range attack, he had no choice but to leave the boss to the others who could reach it and face the students who were being controlled. Which happened to be a large rainbow coloured dragon.
"Sorry!" He yelled, not at all sorry as he leaped up and latched onto the dragons tail.

Being a little out of it, the fact that something had appeared in the fog above them escaped Riyo briefly. She had been watching Xiu mingle with some of the other students when a red key happened to tug at her.
The ghoul's red eyes reflected the glow of the key as they grew wider. "Xiu.." She called softly in an attempt to gain her attention. "This is-"
Riyo was cut off by a surprised gasp as the key charged straight into her chest and knocked her back. Slowly, the glow began to take over. It was maddening, losing control of her own body. Not even having the mind to protest or resist.
But what would make the feline feel worse was if she ever found out how she charged at the baku without so much as a second thought.
Upon seeing the key ram into Riyo's chest, Felix immediately left his master's shoulder in favor of taking sanctuary next to Xiu. His back arched and he gave a muffled hiss to whom he would usually greet with affection. Something was terribly, terribly wrong. Despite his intentions to get a better grasp on the things happening around him via use of his dog form, that was really not happening. He frantically looked from one direction to another, ears perking as he tried to make sense of student noises vs. voice noises. It surprised him, then, when he was able to actually hear someone. Someone speaking to him. Leaning out of the pocket, his tail began to wag uncomfortably within the confines of the sturdy fabric: it was Savior! But she was looking at Ash? Thackery frowned as best a puppydog could. Ash wasn't a puppy. He stretched as far as he could manage without falling out and smashed his nose against her face, producing a "yip!" that might have been the dog version of "boop!" With a grin, he licked her cheek and disappeared back into the pocket. He may have felt extremely twitchy from the sensory overload, but being a pocket puppy was admittedly extremely amusing. As the being revealed itself, Astra had prepared to fling her razor sharp leaves at it, but paused. What were those keys do- She squeaked, as one of the boss keys slammed right into her chest and. As soon as it was absorbed into her body, she began to emit a faint red light. Eyes now looking blank, she shifted her focus to the tikbalang below her and flung her attack at him instead. She would of hated herself for attacking a fellow student, but right now she had no control over her actions, or who she was fighting. Aymet skittered away from the fireball instinctively, snapped out of watching the freaky key light show. For something as large as he was, it was a little more like a trample. Fortunately most of the students, possessed and otherwise, seemed to be focused on the other dragon. Which gave Aymet just enough time to make some hasty decisions.
"ASHFORD? SPARROW? ULMUKA?" The dragon's attempts to control his voice level didn't work around fire, so everyone in yelling range was getting blasted by frantic dragon on top of the incessant wihispering. "ANYONE WHO'S NOT GLOWING RED AND SUDDENLY HUNGRY FOR DRAGON?"
The dracolich leaned down to offer the smaller students some handholds up to his back or into his ribcage, where the fire subsided a little but the temperature was just as bad if not worse. His face, however, was pointed pretty directly at the strange face above them in the sky.
"I REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD CLIMB ABOARD THE S. S. NOT STICKING AROUND TO PULL AGGRO!"

 If Legs had eyes, they would be bugging out right about now what with the face in the mist and the keys stabbing into students and the whole turning on each other bit. That was when she spotted some feline floozy charging at Xiu! What the Jack!? NO! No one was allowed to attack the baku unless it was herself or Tess! Yes, she was still carrying that grudge from prom even if she personally wasn't there. Unfortunately the feline ghoul was too fast for Legs to even try to trip up.

Ash was nothing if not careful with the puppy, holding him securely with a gloved hand.
He glanced from under his helm at the girl who approached both him and Thackery.
"Puppy?" he echoed, perplexed. "Yes," Ash intoned, gesturing at his pocket warrior, who wiggled and waggled quite enough to get the attention of the newcomer. He smiled underneath the helm, glad for the metal covering his face. It was unseemly to be so content at such a small thing. He had a hard enough time coming to terms with his adoration for Thackery-- if only because Ashford felt that, at times, he was smothering the demon.
Teenage angst aside; the flames licking the ground showed that they really needed to get down to business.
"I am afraid to break up our meeting. Unfortunately, it appears our ride is here. I do not think these students turned wind up dolls will tolerate any delay, Thackery," Ashford said, sounding legitimately mournful.
He shrunk down to human size by sticking his skull pin on-- fortunately, the apron pocket was still big enough for one tiny lab.
The only thing stopping him from climbing into Aymet's chest cavity was the helm-- it wouldn't do well next to the ribs. He gulped, deciding to keep it on as long as he could-- and hitched a ride on the bone dragon express.

How was he doing? Christof had glanced back over his hunch at the two snuggling in the sled, cozy and comfy. The fog crept in, clenching in his chest as he looked away again with a grunt. Up ahead there was a scuffle through the mist, and he dropped the reigns as the voice hissed down at them, red keys floating around them... Panicked, he glanced back to Calder and Barth, wasting only a moment to shake the Kelpie's arm, signing frantically and pointedly, "Guard-him." With one final stern look, he turned and ran towards the sounds of shouting. Students were attacking each other left and right, a strange madness seeming to have taken over the yard. Oh, Hell's bloody bells! They needed to stop it at it's source! A bony sort of dragon he was sure he had seen much smaller in passing in the Undead dorms was shouting for others to climb on... well. While he had mixed emotions about actual *flying*, it really was the practical thing to do.... already his fear was prickling along his arm, waiting to be used as he limped his way over to join them. Just... hold on tight and hope it would bring him to a clearer shot... My HP: 31/40 My Status: Free and flustered! There was a voice, the hands, and then the keys...
Xiu turned when she heard Riyo speak, and it was at that same moment that one of the keys suddenly slammed straight into the bakeneko's chest. "...!? R-riyo, are you...are you okay?!" It was obvious enough that that had not been any old ordinary key. She took a concerned step towards the ghoul, only to have the wind knocked out of her when her friend suddenly charged right into her.
Xiu was sent stumbling back, only managing to regain her balance at the last moment. Clutching at her stomach, she turned her stunned gaze towards the bakeneko. There was a moment of confusion, and then a vague understanding settled in her expression. Though she was entirely sure what had happened to her, it was clear that that strange key had something to do with it...and that Riyo wasn't the only one who had succumbed to the strange power.
Careful to keep her distance, the baku bent down to scoop Felix into her arms, taking a small step back just in case the other ghoul tried to lunge at her again. She tried to keep her voice even as she spoke. "R-riyo. Riyo...can you hear me? C-calm down, okay? We're not your enemies."
Xiu turned her gaze to where Levi stood then, her expression concerned. What were they supposed to do? And...Levi hadn't also been hit by a key, right? The baku was able to determine that some of the students, like Jericho and Riley, were being controlled due to their actions, but she hadn't actually seen who the keys had struck.

"Hang on!" It took a few wingbeats but by the power of his undead strength and desperately waning to get the hell out of fireball range, Aymet pulled himself into the air, passengers and all. Distantly he recognized the hunchback that had climbed up on his back, but there was no time for introductions (or re-introductions). The dracolich didn't answer Ashford immediately. "That... really depends on what's up there." Aymet wasn't the fastest mode of transportation, but as he continued to focus on gaining altitude, one of the giant hands of fog drew into easy range for anyone who'd stowed away on his skeleton. Aymet was too busy alternating glances up and down, but mostly down. He wasn't going to attack anyone or anything yet. There was nothing he could do for the strangely aggressive students but avoid them and get as many people out of harm's way as he could.
