Xavier picked up his bag and made sure that all of his girls' Pokeballs were on his belt. "Well, I'm ready when y'all are. Just give the word, and I'm good to go." He tightened his gloves and made sure his jacket was in order. This is gonna be fun. Time to kick some Galactic tail!

Nesrin strode through the streets of Canalave, her Gengar sauntering haughtily beside her. It was already mid-morning, almost nearing brunch time, by the time she left the hotel. She'd never been a morning person, probably because most of her team were Dark and Ghost types, and their time was late at night. She'd nearly become nocturnal herself. Now that everything was finished and ready, it was time to head to Iron Island. Nesrin still had a lot of anger to vent on wild Pokemon for being disappointed so many times the previous day.

As she neared the docks, Gengar noticed the woman from yesterday - the one that had bumped into them. Gengar sneered, then tugged on Nesrin's arm, pointing at the woman. Nesrin took a moment to recall who the woman was. Then she took another moment to get Gengar's message. "What, you want to challenge her?"

Gengar sneered, nodding eagerly.

Nesrin studied the woman. Shortish hair, average, if not a bit worn, clothes, determined look. Seemed powerful. Nesrin shrugged. "No. We must save our energy for the Pokemon waiting at Iron Island. She is not worth it."

Gengar replied with a scowl. Nesrin shrugged once more, then looked at her partner, matching his previous sneer. "Do not despair. I feel that she shall 'bump' into us again. Then, we will battle." They didn't spare the woman another look, and strode towards the dock, and the boat that transported passengers to Iron Island. The idiot sailor from yesterday was there, fiddling with the rope that anchored the boat to the dock. He looked up, recognized Nesrin, and jumped, startled. Nesrin went up to his face, expression solemn, and growled, "I suppose it wouldn't be too much of a trouble to take us to Iron Island now?"

The sailor shook his head rapidly. "N-no, ma'am! Boat should leave in another ten minutes or so!"

Nesrin narrowed her eyes. "Now?" she repeated, putting extra emphasis on the word. The sailor gulped, stuttered something about talking to the captain, then retreated to the safety of the ship. Nesrin sighed and entered the ship. She walked straight through to the bow of the ship, taking a spot near the front, but still close to the door. That way, Gengar could retreat to the bathroom when he felt the need. Gengar got awfully seasick at times.

Fluerette smiled at the sound of Xavier's laugh. She felt the wind exerted from Safira's wings as they took off and caught up with her, though they didn't go ahead. They rode side by side. Xavier said that he won't be leaving them behind. Fluerette smiled. "I see. Thank you, Xavier." She sat quietly as they flew across the sky. Somewhere along the way, Xavier started to hum a little tune. After awhile, Altaria caught onto the theme of the song and actually began to hum with him, making Fluerette laugh.

They found Andrew waiting for them a little while later. As they caught up with him, he started talking and said, "Hey, I'm going down there to see what's going on, I'm not sure, but I think I see one of the Team members down there."

Fluerette frowned, but that was the only emotion she showed. What Team member? He didn't quite classify... Fluerette hoped it wasn't her. "I'll go with you," she said hurriedly. She tapped Altaria gently on the neck, and Altaria soared down, following Crobat in its descent. As they landed, Fluerette hopped off. She recalled Altaria and brought out Roserade, who acted as if she knew exactly what was going on. Fluerette motioned her into silence, then nodded to Andrew, as if indicating that she was ready to go and follow.

A Team Plasma member was harassing a trainer that had a Genesect, which was something that Andrew had never seen before. "Give it over, girlie! There's nobody here to help you out, so just give me that rare Pokémon and you won't get hurt!" The Plasma grunt moved closer to the female who was in possession of the rare Pokémon, and she backed up.


Andrew couldn't take it anymore, he released his Metagross and sent it charging at the thug. Metagross headbutted the man and then picked him up in one claw and slammed him into the ground. Andrew stepped forward as Metagross was about to do it again and stopped the Pokémon. "That's enough, Metagross, we need him alive. As it is, we will have to wait for him to wake up. He may have useful information." The Metagross had the man raised in the air when it was stopped, and it just dropped him nonchalantly. Andrew walked over to the woman who had the rare Pokémon. "Are you okay? My name is Andrew, what's yours?"

The girl was wearing a heavy parka and was dressed for the occasion, but some of her brown hair spilled forward in front of her face. "My name is Jenelle, and I'm okay, now that that guy is unconscious."

"What is that Pokémon of yours? I've never seen one before."

"That's a Genesect. It's a new Pokémon, but I stole it from Team Plasma. I didn't think they would find me here in Sinnoh... They were experimenting on it, that's why it has that cannon on its back."

Andrew pondered this situation. Was it coincidence that they happened to run into a person who had stolen an experiment? It might be, but it was still worth looking into. He turned to Xavier to speak. "Xavier, see what you can do about waking him up. He's going to be in pain, a lot of it, but he's obviously got information about these experiments that are going on. And if he doesn't, he'll know where to get it."

The last thing the grunt remembered upon waking was being headbutted by a Metagross. Beyond that, he had no clue; but he was in a world of pain. He groaned and tried to move, but couldn't, and he feared that he would never walk again. At first his voice was nothing but a sickly croak, but after a few tries, he managed to get out a few words. "Why can't I move? What's going on?"
