 Suzanne blinked as she stared at the sword being pointed at her. How boring. So this guy was competent after all. Suzanne's amused smile was gone and she adjusted her glasses. She pushed the flat part of the sword so it wasn't pointing at her anymore. "Sorry. I couldn't help but mess with you for a little bit. I guess you caught me. However, I am part of the faculty. Professor Suzanne Malevolyte. I'm the librarian."
She sighed and threw her hands in the air. "To tell the truth, I don't know where the exit is. I travel through shadows so I don't know anything about the hallway structure. I can't take people with me through the shadows, so even if I did find the exit through the shadows, I won't be able to find you again anyways. But if you're lonely, I guess I could wander with you, but I'll leave when I get bored."

It's unsurprising that Annalie managed to take that all into stride like it was an everyday thing. That was just how she was. This charismatic guy was afraid of naiads judging by his extreme reaction, and what could she do about it? Then again, she could use that to her advantage in order to provide comical relief whenever she wished. Well, it's not like she had anything against the man or anything, but it was harmless fun. For her anyway. She'd probably end up making the poor teacher paranoid. Anyway, even if she did, she couldn't do much since she was stuck in a wheelchair. Water was a different story, but the other seemed to be the type to most definitely avoid it. Wheeling her way over to the door, Annalie couldn't help the fact that her lips curved into a mischievous smirk. "Oh, I just wanted to warn you to be careful. After all, I'm not the only one here."

 Akito KurosukeIs she serious? So now they both had no clue where they were and Akito is stuck in the dark with a woman who will ditch him when she's bored? Akito sighed. Well, it was his fault for trusting her in the first place. She was a shady character to begin with and he followed her anyways. "Well... whatever. If you're going to quit messign with me, I'd suggest you just leave. But I'm definitely not following you anymore."Akito turned away from the woman and started to walk away as het tried to figure out where he was.

Suzanne forgot about Akito and disappeared into the shadows and reappeared in front of the pillar. She touched it and found that it was firmly rooted in place. "Interesting! How really interesting. Was this put here recently or was this always here?" Suzanne circled the pillar. She pushed it a little and felt the ceiling crumble. Suzanne evaded the crumbles by going into the shadows. She then hung upside down on the ceiling--half of her body in the shadows, half of it sticking out-- and she examined the pillar. It was as if a giant had grabbed a pillar and shoved it into the ceiling. However, it looked like it was part of the ground too.
Suzanne slipped out of the ceiling and landed neatly on the ground. She crossed her arms and nodded her head. "Yup. After my careful deduction and investigation... I...
...seriously don't know how this happened."

Akito KurosukeAkito walked up to the pillar and touched it. He frowned. He didn't remember this pillar. It was in such a weird position and it looked seriously out of place. Maybe this is what that crazy woman meant about the darkness distorting reality. However, this pillar felt very real. He was pretty sure this was still reality."Althoguh I'm about as curious as you are, I think examining this pillar is just wasting our time. Let's move on, Suzanne." Akito said as he started to walk away from the pillar.

Rustling. There was so much rustling going on in there that Annalie had to raise a brow. Just what in the ocean was this man doing in there? It was obvious that he had built a blockade from the sound of chairs skidding about, but still, was it really necessary? Necessary or not, she was quite entertained. "Oh, I just live in the school pool and drown any stray wanderers before cracking open their skull and slurping their brains. That's all. You should try it sometime. It's actually an enjoyable activity that helps relieve stress." Annalie simply told him all while cracking a coy smile. It's not as though she really would though. Frogs and toads were a much more pleasing choice on her taste buds rather than humans.

Suzanne followed after Akito when she heard someone speaking.
"Oh, I just live in the school pool and drown any stray wanderers before cracking open their skull and slurping their brains. That's all. You should try it sometime. It's actually an enjoyable activity that helps relieve stress."
The words perked the sadistic Suzanne's interest and she slid into the shadows to follow the voice. She appeared behind a Naiad that was stationed in front of a door. "That sounds really interesting." Suzanne remarked with an amused smile. Although brains sounded rather distasteful, it seemed like an interesting situation and Suzanne didn't want to risk getting stupider by eating human brains.

Akito KurosukeSuzanne had completely disappeared into the shadows to follow that suspicious voice. Akito was a bit apprehensive since he wasn't sure what kind of creature would say such a thing. However, as a security guard, he probably should check it out. "Well, I guess I better follow that librarian. Hopefully she doesn't get herself in trouble."Akito couldn't move through the hallways as quickly and as silently as Suzanne, but he tried to sneak up towards the voice.

A random stranger popping out of nowhere? No problem whatsoever. All Annalie had to do was continue with this charade. Though, some parts weren't so much just fun and games. Since some of what she was saying was true "Interesting? I agree. It was a sport back where I was from. Of course, it was a bit dangerous since everything was considered fair game, fellow naiads included, but that's what made it so fun."

Suzanne was pretty sure Naiads didn't do that. But it sounded interesting so she decided to play along. Suzanne took a step back, unable to resist a smile even though she was trying to pretend to be scared. "Ah? So everything is fair game. Does that mean I might also be eaten as well?"

Akito KurosukeAkito was dashing through the hallways when he heard the a commotion. There was the sound of crashing and a door opening. He didn't care if his footsteps were causing a commotion. If there was some trouble brewing, it was his job to stop it. He skidded to a halt to where Suzanne stood, backed away from a Naiad who stood in front of a man on the ground. Akito frowned at the situation"What exactly... happened?" he had to ask.

"Of course, you would. With such a pretty face and high intelligence, you'd be the first to go." Annalie chuckled out with a teasing note. That said, she was actually serious about that last part. Not that this woman needed to know or anything.
Then came the explosion from science lab. What. The. Fins? Crinkling her nose at the rather unexpected boom, Annalie was about to holler to the man inside to check his status, only to see him at the base of her feet. She owlishly blinked at him, trying to comprehend what had just happened within the split second, before she burst out into chimes of laughter. "W-Why.... Ppffft... yes I do. O-Oh, fins, I-I haven't had this much fun since ever! Y-You all are such... hehe, better company that the naiads back home." Still, Annalie managed to pull out said handkerchief The water usually cleaned herself up back in her spring. Such a nifty little thing now that she was on land. to give to the man while in the midst of her giggles.
She never had laughed this hard with her former clique of naiads, so it was pretty difficult for her to gather thoughts to answer the newcomer. ".... Explosion." That was the only word she could manage before launching straight back into her fits.
