 ~ Kyle ~Kyle strolled through the park.. bored as ever...*sigh* nothing to do..just like whenever I finished a job i liked....he thought of all the good times he had with his friends...before......Kyle stopped himself... he wouldnt dream of THAT nightmare again.....all that military stuff always messed with his brain...

Kasie idly bobbed her head in response to their ideas, keenly making sure to make a mental note of all this. Being a ghost for so long gave the general conception of what she needed to do in order to get this plan to work, but it was just a theory. A theory that she wasn't likely going to enjoy. "Hm, I think... I can get how to do it, but I'm not going to be a very big fan of it."
However, she had to suck it up if she wanted to touch again, but she didn't want to deal with it alone. Thank gawd these two technically one were willing to help. This was going to need her utmost concentration, and that meant that she was going to mumbling random nonsense to keep her on track; talking simply helped her accept the reality of things at times, which would thus further her experimenting. Of course, she didn't want Kamil and Sethrian knowing every detail of her life, so it was mainly self-musing. Hopefully, they weren't eavesdropping. Here goes losing herself into thinking.
"Let's see... I believe it goes something along the lines of my abilities increasing as long as I regret. At least, I think it did. Bottom of the cliff with no way up, oooh, that was freaky. I wasn't sure how long I was down there, but eventually, that's how I got floating. That's the first proof. Then, there was also the fact that no one could see me for almost ever, but I managed even if I gave little bro a heart attack."
"Okay! I so got this!"
Kasie triumphantly beamed, chirping out the last part when she decided that this train of thought was plausible. She totally got this down and went to try to shake Kamil's hand, only to miss. ... What? She regretted, so that counted right? Or maybe she had to really focus on his hand to make this doable. Gnawing on her lip in concentration, Kasie went for his hand again, just to have it go through it.

Sethrian.Terkynna  "Is it as simple as simply having regret?" Sethrian asked. "Even if that is one method, there may be other mthods as well. Perhaps the libary has books on the paranormal that might prove helpful. We could always go research." Though he figured Kasie actually was a ghost, so she might know better, but still, she seemed to be having problems with it if her attempt to shake Kamil's hand was any clue. Though he supposed if the others were up for research, he might just go check on his own, and see what he could find.

 Kamil Terrace ________________________Kamil was confused. He was really confused. He was following what was happening when Kasie mentioned that maybe regret would help and then she started mentioning being under the cliff and she mentioned a little brother. But did they really have to take a trip to the library? Kamil wasn't that fond of sitting around and reading, but if that would help Kasie, he could go to the library and try reading again. It's just... reading wasn't that much of a hot topic in the ocean and he probably had the worst reading ability out of all of them. But as long as Kamil doesn't have to read, no one will know, right?
"I don't think it's regret. Maybe it's just wishing really hard or something because you started floating when you really wanted to get out from under that cliff and then your brother saw you when you were upset no one could see you. So maybe you just have to wish really hard that you can touch something?" Kamil suggested, If that doesn't work, then we should try the library..."

It was a maybe to all their ideas, but there was one thing Kasie was keeping to herself though; she wasn't taking it as seriously as she'd want to. Well, it was difficult to explain. For one thing, she really did want this ability to touch. That way, she could actually interact once more. However, it was only the plan on lingering about her regrets that dissuaded her. She didn't want to remorse about her death because she was most certainly not in the wrong for jumping off that cliff. Right?
Of course, Kamil's suggestion was more than welcomed over her silly idea! "Wait, wait, wait. Let me try this out first. It sounds perfect! Why didn't I think of this before?" And so, it was all focus here, with sheer determination to simply shake the merman's hand. Kasie reached, inwardly crossing her fingers for some good results, and mentally cheered when she thought she came across something. Nevermind, it was just her imagination. Her hand went through anyway. "Well then! We should go hit the books, but I'm not exactly sure how helpful I can be while I'm over in the library..."

Sethrian.Terkynna "You can still read," Sethrian said. "Kamil and I can locate the books and turn the pages. Perhaps wanting to discover the secret badly enough will lead to discovering how to do it properly." He couldn't deny that there was a part of him that actually felt tha tinstead of encouraging her to become a more powerful spirit, they would be encouraging her to pass on or head to the light or something. But then, it wasn't really his business whether she lingered or not. As far as he was aware, nothing bad happened to spirits taht stuck around. Thought that would be something worth looking into as well, just in case.

~ Kyle ~ Kyle continued to stroll through the park..eventually noticing a group of...students? kyle wasnt expecting to run into any academy students here....but just to be friendly kyle walked up to them and said.. "umm... h-hey there...... i..im new to the academy and im in the serpentinite dorm...i just notcied you guys...and i thought it would be friendly to say hi...." Any signs of an attack would cause kyle to draw his python revolver..and blow their brains out.... OOC:sorry bout the large freakin pic.. sweatdrop scanner probs...

Kamil Terrace ________________________Kamil wasn't happy about going to the library. He wondered why Kasie suddenly changed her mind when trying out his idea though. But if the library would help Kasie, Kamil was willing to do it! He was about to suggest going there right away when someone walked over to them! After listening to his nervous chatter, Kamil grinned at the newcomer.
"So you go to the academy too! This park really is a popular place to walk to from the academy, huh? My name is Kamil Terrace!" Kamil said. Too bad Kamil didn't have a tail to smack him with. But then again, that's not how surface dwellers greet each other. The greet each other with handshakes.
Kamil awkwardly held out a hand for the newcomer to shake.

Code: Sethrian.Terkynna Sethrian was annoyed when their group was approached, without ceremony, by a newcomer. But then, Sethrian was annoyed by pretty much anything. He raised an eyebrow. "Congratulations. We are all new to the academy," he said. He was wondering how the lad managed to guess they were all students but then, the school was close by and they were all young. It probably wasn't difficult for anyone with two braincells to rub together, to realize they were likely students from Rosentale. And of course, Kamil--being Kamil--immediately introduced himself with a friendly smile. And now Sethrian was obligated to introduce himself as well. "I am Sethrian Terkynna." He, however, did not offer his hand.

Reading sounded so boring, but she might as well brush up on her skills. After all, she was out of date when it came to reading huge blocks of text. About to glide her way over there, Kasie stopped short when a boy came to meet them. Boy. Even though she had grown used to the two near her, apparently, she wasn't quite cured of her timidity or nosebleeding in this case. However, she made sure to pinch her nose before any can drip out. "H-H-Hi. I'm Kasie, a-a-and I'd shake your hand, but I can't. I-It's not like I don't want to, but I'm dead. Yeah, but I'm w-working on that." Why was it that her first impressions failed so hard?

~Kyle~ Seeing kamil awkwardly put his hand out for a handshake... kyle declined it knowing how awkward it must seem for him.Noticing that sethrian didnt seem too friendly kyle put his right hand on his revolver just in case anything....bad...happened. Kyles military tag ((dog tag)) revealed itself for a split second.... Kyle hoped no-one saw it.. because then they might run in fear from this ex-miltary kid. "anyways...what classes have you guys taken up?" awkwardly asked kyle.

Kamil Terrace ________________________Kamil felt shot down and rejected. He glanced at his hand. Maybe he had to hold his hand out a certain way? Kamil stuffed his hand into one of his pockets. He'll definitely have to work on it later. "Oh that's right! We signed up for classes today! I don't really remember what I signed up for but I know I chose Battle Strategy and Physical Education to get manlier. I'll definitely be able to carry more than two books and wear a ballgown! Right, so how about everyone else?"
Kamil turned to his friends, also curious to learning what their classes were too. He hoped that he could have at least some of the same classes as everyone else. Although it was exciting to meet new people, it was more fun if there were friends around.

~ Kyle ~ Since kamil was the friendliest here.. Kyle decided to let him into his little secret... He went up and whispered to kamil "hey did you know that i used to be in the army?... please dont tell anyone........... keep it between us two for now....." and he showed kamil the hilt of his revolver... with the word Kyle engraved into it. the revolver was made from maple wood and handcrafted specifically for the gun. "Its handmade by me..." he whispered again. after that kyle whispered for a final time.. "dont tell anyone." then walked away.

Sethrian.Terkynna Sethrian continued to watch the newcomer, summarily dismissing him as a either a nitwit or a mental patient given his actions. He had no idea what the lad felt he needed to whisper to Kamil tow minutes after they had met, but given the way he had rejected Kamil's handshake, he doubted it was pleasant. "Right, if those of us who believe we're twelve year old girls would stop whispering secrets..." he said, giving Kyle a withering glare. He turned his attention to Kamil. "I'm also taking Battle strategy. Along with physics, archaic sciences and cooking. "I am also taking English, and I have a free period." He was groaning inwardly at the ballgown remark. This is why one had to be careful what they said to people like Kamil. One day, Kamil was going to try to run around campus in a prom dress and Sethrian was going to have to clean up that mess. Either that, or capture him and tie him before he managed to leave the dorm.

Okay, it was a bit awkward for her to be ignored in favor for Kamil, but at least that meant her nosebleeding habit was put to a stop since he left. Anyhow, Kasie tuned into the conversation of classes.
"Wow, that's actually a lot of the classes I have too. I have English, physics, and archaic sciences as well. Although, I ended up with potions and a free period, and I think I accidentally took physical combat... Well, that just means I have to nail this touch thing down! You know what they say practice makes perfect."
Sure, classes were going to be difficult, but perhaps that was simply going to motivate her even more in order to pass. Then again, it could have horrible results too with her tendency to give up when things got to challenging. However, there was just one thing that caught Kasie's attention. Ballgown? "Wait, so you're going to wear a ballgown? I... thought that was for girls, or is that usual to wear that for a merman?"
