Chishio had continued running along the ground at first, even after sneaking a glance up to the sky to see the crows. "D**n bir-" she cut off and skidded to a stop about twenty feet from the ANBU who stood in her path. It was just a quick look, but that's all she needed to know three things about him: he had the Sharingan, he was clearly not an actual ANBU member of the Leaf Village, and she had to get by him in order to help out the Hokage. "I don't know who you are or why you're attacking my village, but there's no chance in h**l that I'm letting you stand in my way now."

Yes, Chishio was generally a kind-hearted kunoichi. It was only when she was fighting did she become truly serious. "Dance of the Camellia." She rolled her shoulder and a strange cracking sound was heard. Soon enough, she pulled out a bone blade from her arm, and the bone regrew within her arm so she was not handicapped. Chishio even knew to keep her eyes on the mysterious ANBU's feet, rather than the Sharingan eye as she charged swiftly at the nin, blade at the ready.

Chishio's eyes widened and she flipped backwards, returning to her original position on her feet. She had to look up now, because it was the only way to make sure she was ready for the man if he decided to attack. At the moment, with the black wall of flames separating them, she couldn't see his eyes anyways. "So what if I'm a Kaguya? From being able to use Amaterasu, looks like you're related to the Uchiha's somehow. I don't care how or why, but I still won't let you continue attacking my village!"

Chishio bit her lip, unable to answer. So this WAS the work of Taka... but... "No... but why don't you enlighten me before my untimely demise?" she suggested with a hint of sarcasm. After all, she hadn't given up obviously, seeing as she still had her bone blade at the ready.

Chishio had to look back down as she could slowly start to see the shinobi again, knowing the Sharingan was still active. "I heard that Itachi killed his best friend to get the Mangekyo, and then killed his entire family minus Sasuke. That's all I know about Itachi," she explained, gripping her bone blade so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

She remained quiet for a bit, mostly in thought. Then an idea came to mind. "Taka may want to avenge for the Leaf dishonoring Itachi, but it's not the village's fault. The council is long gone and a new one has replaced it, a new Hokage and all. If the village new about what the old council had done, then they too would have wanted to avenge the Uchihas. This could have been..." Chi paused, mostly to cough a little blood into her hand. Looks like she forgot about her own illness, but even so, she continued to speak. It was for the sake of her village, in a way. "This can be solved by civil means, but if Taka and others like yourself only attack the village, it just leads to unnecessary bloodshed, and still Itachi's name will remain in vain... Fighting doesn't solve everything, especially if it's a problem that the village itself doesn't even know about..."

"Chishio Kaguya, but people just call me Chi," she replied simply, almost unable to hide the small smile on her face. One complication adverted. Onto the next. "Your's?" she asked, letting the bone blade in her hand disintegrate.

Chishio sighed but nodded. He had a point there, since he did attack the village and all. She walked over to him and stopped in front of the Uchiha, a hand resting on her hip. "I know you will... But if you comply to help, you'll be released as soon as possible." Then she held out a hand to him (not the one with blood in it obviously). "For now though, you're just gonna have to trust me, alright? We need to find a few other people before turning you in to the Hoka- OH S**T!" Chi darted about ten feet away, going in the direction of the Hokage's mansion before stopping. "Why the h**l did you have to go and blow up the Hokage's mansion?!" Chishio snapped, looking back at Vale over her shoulder. Without hesitating, she went back, grabbed Vale's hand and yanked him to his feet. "Change in plans. If you want help in avenging Itachi's name, you better come with me right now. I swear I'll kick your a** later for destroying the mansion though..." Then, keeping his hand in her's, started off towards the Hokage's mansion again.
