Leaving the dorms was rough for the half beast who wasn't really even that fit to be running around. Bul was not going to let anything bring him down in his own school though and with the close arm of Mei (and possibly Sibyl!) he was able to reach the infirmary only to find that it had been brutally attacked.
"Hello??" Bul called with the chatters, holding on to the blanket they'd received from the sled. "HElllloOOOOOOO?" "s**t... is Cricket here?" he asked himself, though his eyes caught the lumpy figure on one of the cots simply curling up. Guarded, he stepped closer to Merope and grunted.
"Hey. You. What the jacking hell happened here, do you know?" he asked, though was clearly unaware the undead creature had just arrived after being KO'ed.

The answer Bul received was a wordless shrug, followed by the act of the covered boil curling up into an even tighter ball. After a pause, the covered student shifted again, rearranging themselves in order to curl up even tighter. The very act of doing so revealed Merope's tail as it curled up and around, wrapping around the back of his head tightly. It didn't look like he was going to be moving any time soon.

Not quite the response he was looking for.
Bul frowned and lifted his tail, the spines rattling as he gave the leviathan a poke. "Yanno I know it's the nurse's office but here's not exactly the best place to be curling up, you'll freeze to fear even with these blankets. Gotta get up and move around-"
As he spoke he did a very clenched turn around, toes dancing on the snow. IT WAS COLD >:

Arriving
Following Bul in, Mei wasn't at all surprised to see this place had been hit as well. She was, however, surprised to see how bad it had been hit. "Whoa.." Looks like they're hopes of coming here to recover were history. Tagging alongside Bul, Mei followed his gaze to another boil.
Was that-- "Merope?" Jack damn! She hadn't seen the boil in nearly a year! The last time she saw him was practically right after last Christmas. What timing.

"And?" Merope drawled out, shifting around on the cot. He continued to wiggle about before finally giving up, sitting up and tossing the blanket off of him to peer at Bul. "I'm an undead. And I've got no fear to freeze to," he added bitterly, wincing as he sat up. Once he was up he swayed unsteadily from side to side, reaching out with his hands to steady himself on the bed. Merope hunt his head, groaning. Maybe if he just waited for a bit, the room would stop spinning...
Upon hearing Mei's voice, the undead boil flicked an earfin but didn't raise his head. "Yeah? Who is it?"

Though Bul didn't like the boil's attitude he knew he was in no shape to scuffle and if they wanted to survive well.. he might need TWO bodies squished up against him to keep him warm!
"Wonder where she even is anyway.." Bul trailed off looking for any hint of an insect or trace of the nurse herself.

Pursing her lips together, Mei folded her arms. Obviously Merope was not in the best of moods at this very moment. Hell, half or all of amityville was probably ready to tear heads off after all this.
Dusting some snow off of her hoodie, she answered his question. "Its Mei. Been a while. You alright?" She paused. "Er--never mind, that was a dumb question." Scratching the back of her head, she turned to Bul when he spoke. "Dunno. Maybe with the rest of the school faculty?" It was as good a guess as any.

Merope made a move to shrug, however he did not even manage to get that far. The movement alone made him veer to one side and flop back over onto his side. "Mmrph. I shouldn've have left my dorm room," Merope muttered into the pillow.
"I dunno where the nurse is. But..." The undead sea serpent pushed himself to his feet unsteadily, clinging to the bed for support. "Maybe there might be something useful here we can use? It's a long shot but..." He trailed off, blinking and staring at Mei as she introduced herself. "I... think I remember you? Last Christmas?" He hazard, glancing over to Bul and realizing that he had no idea who he was. "Ah. Sorry, 'm Merope. Wanna see if we can find anything useful in here?"

The music once again goes quiet all over campus, and in the silence, the turning of gears growls and grinds deep underground seems louder than ever. And then even louder until the air is vibrating with the thunderous rhythm. The forms of defeated foes soon begin to waver and then...not quite dissipate, but rather turn misty, into a fog of sorts. The wisps of their remains travel outward and upward, until the sky above the school is dark with the restless fog.
Some students may find it...familiar. And when the clockwork cacophony shifts and twists, subtly, ever so slowly into a chorus of terrible, dark whispers...it becomes very familiar indeed.
The air is soon full of hundreds of voices, a speaking at once in a maddening hum of confusion, anger, and a crushing, mind-numbing loneliness.

Bul was all up for searching when things began to taken a turn for the worst. "Hold that thought-"
Glancing at both nervously the half beast looked up in the air and listened very carefully to what was playing.
"I'm gonna have to say we should move.. and I mean get out of here to where there are more students.." his voice was picking up nervously into a pitch Mei probably hadn't even heard before. A panicked Bul was a not so good one. "Merope, I insist you come with us, cause... I think s**t is about to get really.. really... hnngh... AHHH!"
...with a burst of energy Bul went flying out of the infirmary. What the hell?

SCAVENGE!! Cricket isn't in the Infirmary at the moment, but she sure has a lot of neat stuff laying around! For those inclined to snoop, you might find some things that will help you out! Roll a six-sided-dice! Quote: 1 - You didn't find anything... 2 - You found one of those red medicines of Cricket's! +5 to HP! 3 - You didn't find anything... 4 - You found a Glowipede - Roll a 20sided dice. The result of this roll is how much HP you recover! 5 - You didn't find anything... 6 - You find a pumpkin pill! SCORE! You get full HP! You may roll three times! Merope had made his way over to the cabinets in the infirmary when the music stopped. He shook his head as the air seemed to rumble, turning his attention once more to the cabinets before him. "Let's see," he murmured, pulling one open and digging through its contents. He had removed a bundle of who knew what when the whispers began.
He was... unfamiliar with the sudden change in atmosphere, absent as he was when a majority of the student body experienced it first-hand. Bul's reaction brought a curious glance from Merope as he stared at him in confusion. "What -"
The words were bitten off as the hundreds of voices began, causing Merope to drop what appeared to be a ball of rolled up bandages. A vial of red medicine rolled out of the bandage pile and crashed against the floor, soaking the boil with a bit of its restorative properties. Despite this, Merope continued to stare forward, listless with his eyes wide as he was overwhelmed with the emotions of the mysterious fog.

"Yep, that's right." She was pleased to see he remembered, even if vaguely. About to join in the search, Mei paused. "What is..?" Turning to look at Bul and Merope, she rubbed the side of her neck nervously. Something had changed, the air was different, but all too familiar.
Hesitantly, Mei started after Bul, only stopping to look back to Merope. "See you there, okay?" And with that, she was gone.

"Huh?" Merope shook himself free as best as he could from his thoughts, glancing over his shoulder. She was gone. He stared at the place Mei was standing earlier, quite aware that he was once again alone. It stung. Despite getting killed today he had met the most amount of people he had ever seen for several months, and to have all the interactions so brief...
Merope forced his hands to continue digging through another cabinet, searching.
