Audience "Shun!" She brightened up, rather tounched at the boil's concern. All that vanished almost instantly, however, when Mac walked in with Amphi... Almost like a self-fulling policy. His pretty face was all battered up though, which actually made her both upset and anxious; she would kiss it better... If only she had the right to.
She reached up to tug Shun on his sleeve, "Uh, you d-didn't..." She gestured to her own nose with a slight frown, "Right...?"
With that, she sunk into her seat, "I'll just be... Here if you need me..." She wasn't exactly depressed, not anymore, but she was still upset at the new development. Might as well hide and not make this uncomfortable!

Backstage - MotMot managed a smile, his anxiety dipping back down again after Hel's words seemed to clam his nerves. That was really all he needed. He lifted his head and breathed out a sigh. "Right." He looked around as the others began to get themselves ready and pumped up, which reminded Mot of something. Hel would make her entrance in the second act. He knew from studying the plot that the Prince and Cloodia kiss. So, would that mean Hel's first kiss would be on stage with Chuppi? ...but... no!Mot wanted her first kiss to be from him! But... but he could barely even imagine kissing her without freezing up and feeling the need to a medic. The only time he'd been kissed was on the cheek by... Lizzy.. Freya... and Hel.. Just a lil' peck on the cheek managed to render him stupid and zombie like. How was he supposed to initiate a first kiss anyway? But.. time was running out. If he did not work up the courage before the second act, Hel's first kiss would be gone! While all this played out in his head, Mot was drumming his fingers over his bottom lip, looking moderately distracted.

Audience"No, that wasn't me," Shun said, figuring she was referring to the damage Mac had on his face, "I do recall that I owe him a fight at some point in time, however. He hadn't gotten around to 'cashing' that in."He narrowed his eyes briefly while keeping his attention on Lizzy. "Very well. I'll be...around."He hadn't picked out a seat just yet and all.

BACKSTAGE / ACTORS
True, Tsetsiliya was nervous. Terribly nervous, in fact. But she also felt a teeming excitement. This is what she had missed out on last year, when she hadn't made the cut. The chance to be standing here, in an elaborate costume, and get to act out one of her favorite plays, why, it was a once-in-an-afterlife chance! Her nerves wouldn't allow her to take a small peek at the crowd through the curtain edge, and instead she swallowed shakily and began fussing with her dress. There was glitter everywhere, and she kept glancing downward at her toothpick legs, visible beneath the tulle skirt. A stage gnome cursed at her when she accidentally smacked him in the face with her wings. Oh good Jack, the costume's wings were rather cumbersome. As she moved through the students milling about, the ends of Mot's speech came to her ears through the curtain. Roch and the Fright Music club were doing a wonderful job playing background - this was such a unique arrangement! He had been right on Groanspring: it most definitely was awesome.
As the gunslinger boil finally made his way back after his introduction, he looked as though he were about to faint. She waited until he and Hel had finished talking so she could pass by and offer a smile. "Y-You did very well, Mot." She dipped her head in a nod, and turned to the ghoul beside him with another excited smile. "S-see you on stage!" The thing Tsetsiliya hated most was that she could not conceal her nerves when she spoke. Instead she held her smile and moved on to find some place to keep an eye on proceedings until she was on.
That was when she spotted Temes. Poor, hyperventilating Temes, standing away from everybody and looking ready to bolt. The poludnica moved over to her, frowning in concern.
"Temes?" she asked, making sure she didn't startle the poor ghoul. "I-It is okay! Everything will be okay." She placed a hand on her shoulder to assure her. "You will be wonderful!" But soon the ghoul was on and immediately Tsetsiliya backed away so she could leave. This time she did watch the proceedings from her vantage point, trying not to look at the audience.

MRS. SYBERHOUSE -- XIU
Xiu’s heart was pounding violently as she heard Mot—their narrator—setting up the scene. After he was done, the spotlight would turn away from him and the whole stage would be lit up, revealing all the actors who were presently standing in darkness.
Including her.
Xiu’s grip on Riyo’s arm tightened slightly, but she tried to keep herself calm. When she heard Mot’s introduction taper off, she took a deep breath—it was their turn, now.
When the stage lights flicked on, it would reveal what looked like a ballroom. There were tables set up in the back that were littered with food—paper mache, of course—and a small tree with strange, pokey branches sat in the corner of the stage, tinsel and ornaments hanging from its lopsided branches. As their narrator had introduced, there were children (gnomes) playing and dancing, and parents (more gnomes) talking amongst each other. It was no surprise that four figures in particular stood out amongst the rest of the crowd.
Xiu was dressed in a long, elaborate gown (thank you, Lizzy!), her long hair pulled up into a side-bun. She pretended to be chatting with Riyo, but then she turned and “spotted” Chuppi and Mandy. Letting her lips pull into a smile, she gave Riyo’s arm a little tug to indicate that they should move, leading her friend over to where the other two ghouls stood. Stopping in front of their “children”, she slipped her arm free from Riyo’s.
”Cloodia, Fruntz!” She hugged each of the ghouls in turn, trying to look like the affectionate mother that she was supposed to be. When she pulled back, she offered them both a (somewhat shaky) smile, reaching out to gently cup Chuppi’s cheek with a hand. ”How are you enjoying the party? Your father and I hope that you're having fun. Isn't that right, darling?”
She turned to smile up at her "Mr. Syberhouse" with an expectant look in her eyes.

Receiving a second text from Bul, she began to type out her reply.Quote: TEXT TO BUL Your at the back? I can try and move back there, if that's better? Not like the seats here were any better anyways. Turning to Tybalt, she tugged lightly on his sleeve to get his attention. "Feel like moving to the back instead? Bul's back there, and if he doesn't move up here, I might go back there. Your free to tag along if I do. Besides--I might need a foot rest again." She grinned, keep her voice low enough, not to disrupt the play.

AUDIENCEThere was not a follow-up text when along the aisle a head poked itself above the arm rest at the edge of the row and smiled at Mei. Bul had crawled his way down to where they sat with his tail wrapped around the popcorn bucket he'd got from Demi. He even smiled at Tybalt when he wedged his way next to them sitting beside Mei. C: "Hi."

Mr. Syberhouse -- RiyoAs per usual, Riyo looked less than pleased. Moreover, she looked less than female as well. Looked like they’d gone all out to make her look as masculine as possible. Slicked back hair with one stray curl dangling in her face, a sharp-looking black suit with an exquisitely long coat-tail, and an ‘I hate my married life’ expression plastered to her face. She didn’t seem to flinch when Xiu held her tighter, nor did she look any happier when Mot called them out to the stage. Spotlight schmotlight. It was a shame that the drink in her hand wasn’t actually alcoholic.
Following Xiu’s temporary lead, the feline looked down at their two ‘children’ with a mild disinterest, until her wife announced how they both supposedly felt. “Oh, yes dear children. I love both of you more than tumors.” The ghoul exclaimed with a mock-smile, which quickly faded back as she took a drink of what was most likely apple juice. “Do enjoy yourselves so your mother won’t b***h to me later.” It was a good thing their roles weren’t huge, or this might end up going south. Oh, wait. Wasn’t she supposed to do something now?
Mr. Syberhouse’s eyes temporarily widened. “Oh. Yeah. So Christmas. You get free stuff for not being little heathens. Congratulations. We’re rewarding you for absolutely nothing.” Looked like Mr. Syberhouse was a bit of a cynic…

AudienceChristof had arrived late to the play. He felt he had good reason. He had considered not going at all... but... well, he might as well. Last year, the Christmas Play had been one of his first experiences with the school. It was how he had met a lot of people. He had... built his first device for it. He had been so busy, he hadn't even noticed the auditions had opened. Had it really been a year? It felt like a life time. And now... he was going to have to go back. Regardless of what Barth thought or planned... He stood in the back of the auditorium, eyes scanning.... there. A familiar head of black hair, thankfully with an empty seat beside her. His stomach twisted. Their time was limited. Hands clenching into fists, he moved to sit heavily.

Calder knew that Barth probably wouldn't last during a play. The boil barely lasted one movie, but it was the fact he was here, beside him, that made him happy. This was how Calder spent time with Barth and when the boil was rested, Calder could tell him about the play.
While the sloth demon rested on him, Calder took him and slowly laid him down to rest on his lap, letting the demon rest his head in his lap and allowing Barth to gently stroke his hair and touch his horns as he watched the play start.

Backstage - MotMot smiled warmly as Tset approached them. "Thank you." He felt better knowing other thought he'd done well. "You look marvelous, by the way." He said to Tset. Hel had already gotten a mountain of compliments after dress rehearsals. The play began, and Mot was pulled from his thoughts upon hearing Xiu begin her lines. She was doing wonderfully, and looked dazzling. Riyo... oh Riyo. She looked dashing, actually. And then Riyo spoke. Mot's hands flew to his mouth. He was shuddering. He was trying desperately not to burst into laughter. Her interpretation of the father was... Oh jack, it was hilarious.

Any answer she would have received from Tybalt didn't really matter anymore, when Bul had crawled over to where they sat. (fffff d'aww Bul!! <33) Muffling a laugh, she snapped her phone shut, not needing it anymore and tucked it away. "Hey~" She grinned at her boilfriend, while he seated himself beside her.
Leaning over, she she gave him a small kiss in greeting. "Glad you could join us. You already know Tybalt, yes?" She was pretty sure they had met already, but it didn't hurt to ask.
Stretching out her legs, Mei glanced over towards the play, watching it a for a minute before looking back to Bul. "How are you feeling?" With all the crap that had been happening for their little school, she wouldn't be surprised to hear if he didn't have time to recover. Hell--they barely had time to breathe! Not that they would have to worry about that, if the bogeymen got their way after all this. She didn't even want to think about that..
