"Good guess!" Aphrodite turned her hand over and opened the clenched fist. sitting on her palm was a cute little star pin. It sparkled a little in the light and seemed to call to Evan. "Merry Christmas." She handed it to Evan before looking to Jinju.
Jin was sort of glad Evan had picked the right hand. He was focused on the left hand. Aphrodite's amusement at his focus was lost on him.
"That makes this one yours." Sitting in Aphrodite's left palm was a simple stud earring made of a silvery-black stone. Normally something like that should have seemed strange, and really, it was, given that normally one would get a pair of earrings. Even though he was skeptical at first, Jinju still took the earring. When he did, Aphrodite clapped her hands. "Lovely! I'm sure you will both enjoy your gifts." That said, she waved to both of them and pranced off. She had to keep playing Santa. This was kind of fun.
Looking at Evan, Jin laughed just a little. "That was a little strange." He looked at the pin Evan had gotten and smiled. "Want me to help you put that on?" He asked with a slight wiggle to his brow.
Leaving the boys at the faux hearth, Aphrodite practically skipped down the halls and very nearly ran into Miah as he was looking around and not paying attention to where he was going. Aphrodite totally blamed him. Yep.

When they had reached the table, Nari wasted no time going right for the chocolates. Truffles, petifours, little chocolate Santas, it didn't matter, she was upset. But she wasn't going to cry! This was a party. She turned to Nico and smiled at the glee on his face seeing the buffet. Nari couldn't help but raise her camera and snap a picture. "Sorry, you're too cute not to get pictures of." She laughed before deciding to take a picture of the table. There were SO MANY SWEETS! And more then one gingerbread house that hadn't even been touched. People probably thought they were for decoration. Maybe after the party, if they hadn't been touched Nari would see about taking one home.
When Nico called to Helena, Nari looked up at the other girl. Well of course she looked sad! Nathan was a total asshat tonight! "Of course she can. She could probably really use some friends." She smiled at the other girl and also motioned her to come join them. "Hey Nico, if she's with us, it's like you're on a double date." She teased.
"You do?" Indy looked at Naois and laughed slightly. "I think those are Easter goodies. I'll get you some when they're out. Totally stock up after Easter when they're on sale for like 50 cents." She eyed the cookie, and thought about stealing that too, but decided she should let Naois enjoy one goodie without her stealing it. So she picked up some marshmallow cream puff type thing. "Dancing?" Taking a bite of the gooey treat, she started giggling. It was good but so squishy. "Namph!" She blinked. Crap. This stuff was sticky! She tried very hard to chew and swallow so she could talk. "Yeah! I'd love to!"

By now Helena had found the fudge and she was decimating it... her throat felt all sticky but it was better then burning eyes and feeling miserable... well she still felt miserable and her eyes were still burning but maybe if she ate herself sick she wouldn't be thinking about how horrible this night had been because Nathan couldn't stop controlling his little brother's life... She heard her name just as she was popping a last bite of fudge in her mouth and was surprised to see Nico there with his date Nari... Her pale blue eyes widened and looked around quickly... Where was Nathan?! Oh how embarrassing... But a quick scan of the people around them showed her that he was no where to be seen... maybe she should have had a sinking feeling but all she had was a sense of relief.... She was so upset at him that she didn't want to see him though it was strange to her that he wasn't hovering over Nico and his date like a deadly raptor. When Nari would signal that it was okay with her as well to come over she'd pick up her half drank cup of punch and take a drink to wash down some of the chocolate. Dabbing at her face and hoping she didn't look like a five year old that had gotten into her mother's cake icing... "Hello..." she'd say shyly... her voice had a definite Swedish accent to it... "I'm Helena... but you know that... " Reaching out one of her hands to gently shake with Nari...maybe Nari knew more about her since she had been hanging around Nico... "Um.... nice party.... yes?" she felt a little out of place.. sort of like a third wheel... but Nico was there and she had to smile at him... "I didn't get a chance to see you before you left... ah, such a handsome young prince you are Nico!"

Jerking in response to someone almost running him down, Jeremiah turned in the direction of a girl who was in a bright pink outfit. "Are you okay? I'm sorry if I got in your way." He had a genuine smile of embarrassment on his face as he asked Aphrodite his question.

"Thank you Helena. You look like a princess. Just like Nari does tonight." He murmured with a small degree of shyness. A double date? Nicohlas found his pale eyes moving between both Helena and Nari. It had not been his intention to 'steal' his brothers date but...well...Helena had seemed to be abandoned by him. Nicoh's cheeks began to turn a strange shade of pink, and he reached up to his pocket. Wordlessly he pulled the small pink handkerchief out and folded it in his lap. Nicoh's first attempt at folding failed, and he had to unfold the handkerchief to start over. On his second attempt he managed to succeed at what he was trying to do. With a smile, he used a bobbypin from his lapel and pinned the handkerchief into place. Holding up his palm, he presented Helena with a folded rose and faintly smiled. "If your going to be my date you need a rose, like Nari got." he waved a hand then at Nari. "Oh oh! You gotta get a picture of me and Helena together then, then one of all three of us together! I am totally making us dolls for this!"
Naois smiled slightly at Indy. "They are, and the fact I can only get them for part of the year helps save me from getting so fat." He reply's with a laugh. He stopped laughing long enough to eat a cookie or two. he waited for Indy's reply, and when she would say yes he brushed his hands on his pants. Brushing away the crumbs he reached out to grab Indy by one of her wrists so he could pull her out onto the dance floor. "Well then let's dance!" He found himself feeling rather...relaxed. At ease..and just getting caught up in the moment. He was so happy that Indigo had come with him!

Evan was excited with the praise. He smiled wide, almost a bit too giddy as the woman handed him a cute little star pin. It glittered and glinted in his palm. A strange urge to cherish it washed over him. It was perfect! I just felt perfect! He returned the woman's Merry Christmas and wished he had something to giver her as well. But this was her job and she wasn't looking for anything in return... The blond boy took a bit of his sweets as she watched what gift Jinju would receive.
His gift seemed to match him. A stud earring that was as cool as he was. Evan's cheeks gained a pink color as he watched the woman hand Jinju his gift and start to wonder off. His blush only intensified when Jinju offered to help the blond boy with his pin with a sly advance. "Please do!" He averted his eyes with a slight smile as he handed the dark haired boy his gift.
Mai smiled as she took the cup with a polite thank you in return. A blush colored her cheeks as he spoke. “I didn't mean anything like that.” Mai appeared a bit flustered. “Percival, I was merely suggesting we might be able to hang out again at parties we are invited to.” She took a sip from her drink, appearing to be digging a bigger hole than what she had planned. Mai dismissed those silly things as Percival eyed the dessert table. “I wouldn't get your hopes up.” She made her way over to the table. “It's hard to find someone who makes things as good as or better than a mom.”

Aphrodite looked him over. The kid in front of her... did he really... have the potential? He seemed kinda wimpy. It was a shame that men, real, adult men, were so much trouble making them believe in magic. If she didn't spell it out to a grown up, they'd probably get eaten by those nasty little things that always ruined her fun. At least kids were... more or less willing to believe. And she didn't have all the time in the world to explain this gig to each of the kids she'd just given gifts too. In fact, she was almost out of trinkets for the evening!
She hadn't said anything to Miah's question, and was just staring at him, her chest thrust out like she were daring him to oogle her luscious jubblies. Really, she was sizing him up. Why didn't he seem awe struck by her beauty? Was it because he was a nancyboy? Well, he had been with that other boy- one she recognized even. Goddamnit. That explained why he wasn't drooling over her! Her internal monolog about this and that and making him at least try and get a glance at cleavage went completely unspoken as she subtly pressed her arms together, giving her chest a little perk and squish as she leaned forward. "How about some fun? I have a present for you."

Nari shook Helena's hand eagerly. "The party..." She wouldn't have called it nice so far. "Can only get better, right?" She beamed. After all, dealing with a grumpy-pants Nathan had to be the worst thing that would happen tonight... right? "Ah... I'm Kaminari... But... Well, my friends call me Nari." Her smile was as if she were smiling at a long time friend. Saying without words 'You should call me Nari too.'
When Helena called Nico a prince, her brow slanted down in a faint frown. That's what she had thought about Nathan. At least up till tonight. Now he was ... he was some... corrupted... tarnished metal boot. Or something. She didn't know, didn't care. Tonight was not about Nathan any more! Tonight was about the three of them stuffing their faces and having fun and getting lots of fun pictures! "I love your dress by the way. It's totally amazing looking on you." She started talking while Nico folded the cloth rose. When he presented it to Helena, she stared at it a moment, then held up her rose and smirked.
"Absolutely, Nico!" Without another word, her camera was up to her face and she snapped a candid shot of Nico holding the rose out to Helena. "That's a keeper for sure!" She'd wait till Helena had a good hold on the rose, or for it to be pinned somewhere or something before she'd insist they all squish together for a picture."Well then, we'll have to get you to stock up on them then! That way you can save a few for the rest of the year!" It was a totally simple plan. Keep Naois loaded up on sugar for a year. Yes. "Wait, do those things keep? Hmmmm... gonna have to research this." When Naois grabbed her wrist, her face flushed a bright red. He was practically holding her hand!
When they reached the dance floor, Indy had a moment of thought. Wasn't she eating something a moment ago? Ah, she must have dropped it when Naois grabbed her hand. The floor was probably a mess anyways with crumbs and dropped treats by now. She didn't give it a second thought as she prayed some kind of slow song would come on next. This was no longer Christmas. This was her date! Her date with Naois! She was going to enjoy every moment of this.HAHA! Success! Evan handed over the pin. It was really cute. Totally suited Evan. He tucked his own trinket into a pocket for the moment and unfastened the pin before leaning in; this was the perfect excuse to be closer and not seem weird. He was pinning the star to the right side of the collar, beside Evan's necktie. The star... that was festive too. "We should put the pin on your head." He teased. "Top you off like a Christmas tree." The pin secured in place, Jin thought about trying to steal a kiss, but last time, that hadn't worked out too well. And a kiss easily stolen is soon forgotten. Ah damn it. That's what he wanted for Christmas. A kiss from Evan. Not some... earring. He didn't even wear them unless he was in costume. And why only one? A single earring? He pulled it out of his pocket and stared at it a moment. "Might be kind of awkward if you tried to help me with this." He apologized. Sharp pointy thing going into skin near face? Thanks, he'd do it himself. And he didn't really want to drop it. This was his memento of the evening with Evan. Soon the stud was in place in his right ear.
"How do I look?" A futile question as his hair fell in front of his ear and covered it quickly.

Jeremiah hadn't been paying attention when Aphrodite had her chest thrust out, he'd been too busy sort of shuffling his feet with a hand rumpling the hair he'd just been straightening. But he would have had to been blind not to notice the girl all but shoving her boobs out of her top. His eyes bulged as he looked at them before remembering himself and looking away. "I-I'm sorry about that. You were mentioning "fun" and a present? I do like presents."

Evan blushed a bit as Jinju leaned in. He was so close... He smells nice.. The blond boy thought as his date pinned the star next to his necktie. His cheeks were a bit flushed with a dorky smile to his lip. "If you were to do that," he still smiled, watching the dark haired boy, "We would lose it in my hair." He wanted to stick his tongue out at Jinju, but refrained, due to the setting they were in. Evan had wished to help Jinju with his own present. That shining single earring looked like it suited him well. But, his date was right, it would be awkward to try to help him with that.
The blond haired boy looked up as Jinju asked how he looked. His hair was blocking that shining earring so how was he supposed to tell? Evan leaned in, brushing Jinju's dark hair behind his ear. "It suits you perfectly." He smiled. He couldn't say he was pretty or cute, and he dare not say that he was handsome. His cheeks flushed again and he noticed he was still close to Jinju with his hand caressing his ear. "Oh, um..." He moved back slowly. "Sorry about that!" Evan looked away growing redder by the moment.

:: Helena was blushing madly by this point, so many compliments hitting her one after the other.... "Thank you Nico..." she'd gingerly pick up the lovely folded rose, the fact that he'd put such an effort into it, any effort at all after tonight was amazing to her after she'd been dealing with the likes of Nathan for more then enough of it, "It's so thoughtful..." She'd give him a warm smile just as she'd use the bobby pin to affix the adornment behind an ear, seeing the flash of a camera again she'd just blush more fiercely, outdoing Nico by far in her reddened cheeks... "You look fantastic too Nari..." Testing out the taste of her name on her tongue, yes she liked it, such a cute nickname... Smiling at Nari before her eyes would widen and she'd find herself pulled down closer to Nico with her cheek squished against his, she couldn't suppress the giggle that bubbled forth, yes tonight was turning out to be a good night despite the horrible beginning with Nathan.... stupid boy.... just before the picture was taken she'd turn her head a bit and press her lips firmly to Nico's cheek, making a loud kissing sound after the camera flashed... If she was going to be blushing like a fiend she didn't want to be the only one! "I can't wait to see the dolls Nico! You're such a talented and imaginative young man." smiling down at him as she'd stand at his side, looking at Nari with a look of gratitude in her eyes... the girl had basically saved her from a night of misery by her thoughtful gesture of including her in the date. ::

Percival paused and smiled faintly at Mai. "Ah. I was only joking myself. It would be sort of nice though." The thought of going to another party...one he was actually invited to. Well that would have been kinda nice. Percy began to fidget with his jacket while he approached the table. "Oh you are so right about that..." He remarked. A wistful expression twisted athis lips and eyes both "Mom used to make these great cookies. The were like pumpkin with these hot cinnamon chips in them. Oh they were so good!" Percival stopped before the goodies and looked over the display. "Well...none look as good as my moms. I guess you were right about this...still.. these mini cupcakes look kinda nice?" Percival reached down to pluck one from a tray, and turned to hold it out to Mai. "For my lovely date?"
Naois gave a very happy little laugh. "Stock up? Really?" In his head all he could see was a wall of colorful foil covered eggs stacked up in his closet. "Maybe they do? I mean, it's only chocolate and...I'm not sure what the center is made of." He mused aloud while reaching to curl his other free arm around Indigo's waist. Holding her loosely, he attempted to lead her in a dance around the floor. Honestly, he didn't know much about dances but...how hard could it be? "You know...this is turning out to be a really great christmas Indy." He said as he looked at his friend. Maybe now would be the time? Naois shook his hand a little to gently withdraw it from Indigo's own. "I uh..got you...a gift..."
Nicohlas could clearly see that he had helped make Helena's night somewhat better. He smiled at both of the girls next to him and found himself flushing more brightly. It was good to see the two of them getting along so well, and it was a ease on his conscious to know that this wasn't going to ruin Nari's date. He couldn't let Helena sit out and be miserable at a christmas party! When he found himself face squished between the two, his eyes brightened and he half lifted his hand to wave at the camera Nari was holding up. The kiss on his cheek though caught him by surprise, and his eyes widened with his lips forming a OH. After the camera flashed, he gave a small laugh and reached up to tweak at both Nari and Helena's noses. "Your welcome Helena...and I can't wait to see the pictures you've taken Nari." His eyes drifted off to the dance floor. "Wanna go dance?" He asked with a smile. He may not be able to dance like everyone else, but the girls could. And that was important for them to do at a dance!

Oh she was absolutely titillated by the boy's naivety. And how he couldn't hide the fact he'd been staring at her boobs just now. It really was a crime to look this good, wasn't it? Now, what sort of goodies did she had left. There had been more kids with potential here then she had thought, really. "Yes, a great deal of fun. Now where did I put that..." She began searching the folds of her pink dress before finding something. "Ah ha! Here it is." She presented to him a watch. It didn't look like much. Kind of old looking though. "This is a special gift just for you. Do take care not to loose it."

Nari heard the kiss. And as soon as the photo had been taken, began to giggle. Now what would Nathan say? Nico got kissed by 2 girls tonight. Oh, the fit he'd throw... She threw that thought out of her mind instantly. Tonight was NOT about Nathan. No way man. Tonight? All about Nico and Helena now! She blinked at the nose tweak, and giggled. She'd have to get him back for that. Later though. Nico said the magic word! "Yeah! All three of us, let's dance together." She had a bright twinkle in her eyes. "Nico, do you trust me?" She had something up her sleeve, but wanted to know if it was alright. If Nico trusted her enough, she could easily dance behind him, spin his chair a little, and follow Helena's lead. They could totally all dance together!
But only if Nico was ok with it."Yeah! We'll fill your kitchen with them. Or... something. I donno. I just come up with ideas. I don't execute them so well." She laughed, blushing a little. "I think it's some kind of... cream. Yeah." Well duh that's what it was. "Unless you get the caramel ones!"
When Naois put his arm around her, Indigo felt like she'd faint! "It... It really is. Best Christmas ever... I'm glad you're having fu-" She stopped when he said he had gotten her something. "You... did?" She stared at him as he let her lead her to the dance floor.Somewhere in the crowd, Chisato had lost her date. She hadn't seen Miles for some time, and was rather put out by this. The evening was feeling like a waste. So rather then standing on the dance floor like a loser, she turned her nose up and began walking away. However, she encountered someone delightfully unexpected heading towards the line for photos.
"Nathan." She said softly to the taller male.His cheeks grew warm, and turned a shade darker as he blushed as Evan toyed with his hair and ear. He wanted so badly to lean in and kiss him. That hadn't ended so well last time though. "It's alright. I don't mind. That kind of felt nice." He admitted. Oh what the heck, he might as well go for it! Jin leaned in and kissed Evan's cheek.

Naois smiled brightly at Indigo. Her rambling chatter was something he'd come to really enjoy about being friends with her. Seriously. In his head he could see her teasing him about buying all the eggs on sale after Easter. He was looking forwards to it actually.
Naois attempted to lead Indigo for a few moments of dancing. he knew it was the guy's part and all, but it didn't make much sense to him. All they were doing was moving around a sea of other chatting kids. If he knew more about dancing he supposed he'd be better huh? He came to a stop when Indigo would look at his with what he assumed was surprise. "Well...yeah. It's christmas right? You get presents for your friends and family. Since my list it relatively small it seemed all the more important that I get you something." Naois shifted his hand from Indigo and dug into the left pocket of his pants.
When he had seen the necklace, the awakened geek in him had immediately thought of Indigo. The 'chain' was nothing more special then a black nylon cord tied in a long loop so it was easy to slip over ones head. The pendant itself was a circular cage made of bendable wire. Again, nothing too special. What had really caught his eye was the fact that inside of the wire cage there had been a gamers die. The wires were pry-able, meaning the die could be taken out, then put back on a whim. What made it seem so perfect was the fact it was also the same color as Indy's own name. A nice dark purple. It seemed like it had been made just for him, to buy for her that is.
Naois pulled out a black felt bag, within was where the necklace was currently hidden, and he handed it to her. "It's nothing too special or great, but this is my way of saying thanks for just...you know. Being my friend. Merry Christmas Indy.
