"Pretty much. Lockon always likes to come to these things since he appreciates breaks from the temple but I am not a big social person so the alcohol helps make things way easier for me. You know it's funny if you had just let me drink to my heart's content from the start none of this would have happened. You will find that what I told you was true. I am nice drunk. I also tend to ramble though so beware. Ah I feel good." She had become completely uninhibited and was just enjoying herself now. She looked over to her company and noticed his features for the first time during this event. "You know you are kind of cute. I would have expected nothing less from the queen," she giggled.

"Me? Oh no that's not possible, I am related to Lockon." Seravee laughed at her own lame joke. "I know alcohol isn't always the answer but it keeps me happy enough on the rare occasions we are permitted to leave the temple so it's enough." She touched her own face as if to check if she could feel anything. "Well, my face is numb so that's a good sign." Years of experience in drinking led her to believe there were ways to check how drunk she was. A numb face and slurred speech were sure signs that she was on a fun path. Her vision was also getting blurry. "How fun. A few more and I won't be able to stand well on my own. Good thing Lockon is closeby haha."

He grinned at her and downed his entire can. He let out a soft burp and looked back down at the petite girl. "At this rate you won't remember a thing you did here." He said with a laugh.

Lilly stood by and watched the interaction between her brother and a now very drunk Seravee. Hearing her talk about Lockon and herself made Lilli blush a little. "We arent a cou--" She was interupted by V's continuance, and decided to stay quite. Now that she stood alone with Lockon, she looked awkwardly at the floor. She was horrible around boys, and didn't know what to do.

"Meh, I am fine with that." Seravee would rather not remember what was in store for her with Lockon later. She was out of line earlier and she was sure she would be punished. "I don't care what happens I am having fun and that's all that matters isn't it?" She let herself fall back and sighed as she let her whole body relax.

Nathaniel shrugged. If she didn't want to remember, she didn't have to. He watched as she relaxed a bit and grinned. "As long as you have fun, it's all good."

"Yup. So what's your story? I'd imagine being Ruby's son isn't easy." She had said enough about herself and the boy had put up with her until now so it was only fair to try and get to know him a bit. "Though I work very closely with her highness I know nothing of any of you and you've intrigued me." She opened another can and continued drinking as she awaited a response.

"Please forgive my cousin. She has had a long day and she tends to lose her inhibitions too easily around alcohol." Lockon noticed this girl seemed awkward and Seravee's statements couldn't have helped any. "I am actually here to keep an eye on the party. You didn't think the queen would really leave you guys unattended did you? Please feel comfortable around me I only mean well."

Hikaru arrived at the party fashionably late, on par with her normal arrivings. Her usual two hour preparatioins took unusually long today, four hours she changed, she tried on 32 pairs of gloves, changed her hair 4 separate times, and tried on 54 pairs of shoes in the pursuit of the perfect pair; she knew she would be meeting her mother's friends and many new people, first impressions were imerrative. "This is the place", she said as she glanced down at her invitation, "It appears so, My Lady,"Ocea, a small white creature with blue wings for ears that was floating beside her said. "Looks like this place is as big as mothers." she said as she eyed a map of the domicile she too out of her purse. "Indeed, it is but no palace is as grand as your Grandfather's" her companion chimed in, and smiling.
She continued into the palace where she was directed by a guard, nodding at guards walking past, almost as if her body was guiding her, before she knew it she stood amidst a celebration the likes she had never seen, even from the future.
As she stood there she had an air of mystery about her, her clothes seemed to fit in but had an advanced sophistication to them that almost made it look like at times, when glanced at in the right lighting, as if they moved and had a life of their own. Her hair shimmered like a waterfall, in the same fashion as her clothing but moved and flowed as real water would, it caressed her bare shoulders as she walked to the refreshments, her blue eyes sparkled with joy as she glanced about as she walked over, taking in her new surroundings, her small white companion flots behind her mimicking her grace.

"What would you like to know?" He asked politely as he watched a young lady step in. She looked familiar, but he couldn't place where he'd seen her.

"What can you tell me?" Thinking back to his actions she was curious about one thing. "Maybe you can start off by telling me the real reason you have gone out of your way to keep me happy." This boy had gone from being casually flirtatious to downright cautious, and she wanted to know why. "You've acted distraught for a good while now and I can't seem to help the feeling that you are hiding something. Have I been a nuisance?" Seravee quirked an eyebrow as she awaited a response; something was definitely up with the boy.

"No no, of course not. It's just .. " He wasn't going to tell her that he had to be nice to her to keep his a** safe. Either way, he'd still be nice to her, but not this cautious. He turned her face towards him and said softly, "It's just that, seeing such a beautiful face like yours always makes me a tad bit nervous. I didn't want to see hatred on such a heavenly face, so once again I'm trying to get on your good side." He smiled sweetly as he sweet talked her.

"Not quite. I am just to make sure that nothing gets too out of hand. Her highness does trust her children but you must understand that her departure leaves this area somewhat vulnerable; if anything were to happen my cousin and I are responsible for everyone." Lockon looked to see Seravee getting hammered while conversing with the prince. 'Though I doubt she could be of much help in her current state. Worse turns to worst I can use Himari to sober her up so I guess that will do.'
"If you are worried about us reporting to the queen you can be assured that we are not here to babysit so what happens here will remain unknown to her unless it absolutely can't be helped."
