I will break the spell you put on me,  Insomnia (The Strategist) Scorpio ________________________________________________________ 【 I'm sick of the pity I always see in the eyes of everyone. 】 ________________________________________________________ Insomnia's eyes narrowed dangerously as he watched the other wipe the blood from his face. It seemed as though the Gemini half hadn't even felt the hit, and was only concerned over the blood that dripped down his face. A slight feeling of confusion intruded on his overwhelming rage when Ara took notice to the burn on his arm, that he should have noticed when it had happened. The scion let his gaze drift to the burn as he pulled the sleeve to look at it, then returned it to it's place. 'Does he not feel the pain? How odd...wait..no..never mind it's nothing...maybe it's just the shock. Or maybe he just doesn't feel the pain..then..if he doesn't..does that mean the other does? No I doubt that..it wouldn't make any sense right?' He thought to himself, before the other placed his hand onto his, pulling at it.
'He's not lying? How am I supposed to believe that? I'm not even sure if I can..' The Scorpio's thoughts scattered, interrupted by the sound of something plastic hitting off of the ground beneath their feet, and the feel of his hand being wrenched away from Ara. He glanced to him, silver-green gaze meeting the others gray, and listened to what he had to say. 'Yeah? But what are you not telling me? That's what I want to know, because I know you are hiding something.' The scorpion thought as he studied him for another moment. He had to think about everything that had occurred, in order to try and calm himself down enough to understand what was going on. The male had felt the shear terror the other had felt when he had been holding onto his shirt, and the confusion from when they had first entered the room. Then there was that...the fact that when Ara had grasped his hand to pull it away, coming in contact with him...he had felt a wash of one thing in particular...
..Honesty...
There was no hesitation in his words when he spoke them, and his emotions hadn't flared with nervousness or something of the like that would usually point to a lie. So...was it true that he was telling the truth? He wasn't entirely sure. The rage was still the strongest of his emotions, even more so then the confusion over everything he had just seen and learned. Then he heard something that made him freeze up. 'Tus...so..their name splits in two huh? Not to mention...he was the one..who made...Ara..I'm guessing...avoid me? Well, now...That is something of interest..isn't it?' Insomnia thought as the corners of his lips twitched. He had to turn away from the other, as a slightly dark look entered his eyes and a small grin appeared on his face. 'Perhaps that was something you shouldn't have told me..Ara.' The male thought while hoping slightly that the other hadn't seen the darkness that had just entered him.
"Tus? So..I was most likely talking to your other half..and that would make you..Ara..correct?"
He asked quietly, the rage shaking his voice a bit still, coupled with a slight hint of a dark tone. Insomnia lifted a hand and placed a finger from that hand over his lips as he thought. 'What should I do about all of this?' He wondered before turning his head a little to peer through his hair at the other. The Scion hadn't turned around completely, had only allowed himself to glance over his shoulder at the half Gemini who was still standing behind him.
"Unfortunately, you haven't told me all that I want to know yet. If you want to leave this place at any point of time in the future, you're going to have to answer at least some of my questions. Do you understand, Ara?"
He said, his voice cold, his eyes colder. ________________________________________________________ 【 Who do you think you are, ordering me around like that? 】 ________________________________________________________ Velvet drapes, glowing candles,

Alyssia watched Leith closely as he responded to her without meeting her gaze. He mentioned something about Insomnia's emotions raging and that he was hurting someone, that they needed their help. As she was about to speak, she felt his hand on hers, as though he were telling her that he was alright, before taking a deep breath. She wanted to protest, realizing that he meant to stand, but she thought better of it, and let him do as he pleased. The Virgo was at least pleased to see that he could stand on his own, though a little shakily it seemed. She was a bit worried about him, but knew that the Pisces could still take care of himself, and that he wasn't weak, so she wouldn't force him to stay put.
Leith's gaze seemed to travel around the area though, and she followed it to where it landed last, her hand still on his shoulder for the moment. Letting it slowly fall to her side, she realized who he was looking at, and she felt her heart drop. 'So many people suffering all because of something like this. As if it isn't bad enough that we are so close to a war...now we have to go through this. It's almost too much to take. It must especially be hard on those of whom can feel the emotions of everyone around them.' She thought to herself as she took in the situation Alistair and Leith seemed to be in. The Virgo didn't want to leave them both like they were..she wanted to try and help the best she could...but she wasn't entirely sure what she could do.
"Alistair...Leith..is there anything I can do to help you two? I don't feel right about leaving you both in such a state. Can I not assist you in any way?"
She paused to think a little on the problems at hand and could only come to a few conclusions.
"If you would like..I could let you into my quarters where my private library lies...there you might be able to find some small amount of peace and separation from all of this emotional chaos. Would that please either of you? Or..I can try and take away some of the confusion..if you wish to accompany me to the others who have followed Ara and Endellion. Oh..I do believe Alephonze has gone there as well..if I am not mistaken."
Alyssia offered softly to the two Scions. This was not a light offer, since she hardly ever let people into her study or her quarters. It was a sacred place to her, and only a select few were allowed to enter. The two before her most likely had never seen it. She hoped that they would be alright..especially if they insisted on her leaving them there and going on ahead. She didn't want to leave them behind though...and wanted to be sure that they would be okay before she left if it was the case.

 Sen .Sen broke into the courtyard at an ungainly gallop, slowing as scanned the room. Immediately he trotted up to Alyssia first.
"Endellion asked me to bring you." He said, not really asking questions. His unbliking, yellow, horizontally pupiled eyes met hers with keen intelligence. He paused for the briefest moment. "Speed is neccesary, please . . . If needed, you can ride. I am also to bring the Leo, if possible. Do you know where he is?" He asked, low voice seeming to fill the area. He did not pause to acknowledge any of the others, though he had not seem most of them in many, many years. Endellion had summoned him for a task, andeverything else would come after he had seen it through. He would not have given them more than a nod anyway- talking this much was more than he liked. Bad enough that he had to run, but talking too . . . he hopd that whatever Endellion had gotten into was worth it. But he didn't really doubt her- she was The Capricorn. She would not have over reacted.

Insomnia's smile only freaked him out more. What did I say that brought on that expression? He wondered. He figured it must have something to do with Tus, which was understandable considering how angry he was earlier. Not that it really helped him and his situation.
Ara couldn't believe Insomnia planned on keeping him here, for who knows how long. He couldn't just keep me here...could he? He would have to leave sometime, but that didn't guarantee he could get out when he did. Not much I can do is there...unless I had his key, he thought. He figured Insomnia would probably keep it on him, but the question was where. I'll have to search him later, he thought, but now wasn't the time to worry about that. "Why should I answer any of your questions? Well, besides being stuck here." He asked.

I will break the spell you put on me, Insomnia (The Strategist) Scorpio ________________________________________________________ 【 I'm sick of the pity I always see in the eyes of everyone. 】 ________________________________________________________ Insomnia spun around in a whirl of cloth and rage at the others answer, suddenly leaping the small distance he had created between the two until he was directly in front of the other. His eyes strangely seemed to be such a shade of green that another color began to slip through them. They had become so dark they were almost black, yet as the anger continuously re-sparked and became more noticeable in him, the black seemed to take on a very dark shade of blue. The Scorpio got close to the others face, a sneer on his own.
"How about this? If you ever expect to get out, to ever see your twin again, then I would advise you to talk, got it? Do you forget, that since you're in my chambers, and can't get out, it's up to me whether you eat or drink? Not to mention, unless you have the key you can't get out, and same goes for your brother, only reversed. He can't get in without my permission or the key.."
He asked, his lips curling into a cruel grin as he backed away a bit, only to circle around behind him, and lean in close to his ear, an arm over one of Ara's shoulders so that it was hanging down in front of his chest. He laughed a bit, his anger controlling most of his actions, rationality gone for the most part, the sound was dark and cold. 'I should stop, I should stop, take control of yourself Insomnia. But..he won't answer me, I'm exhausted, feel like i'm starving, and everyone seems to want to piss me off. Including him. Now I find out his twin was the one causing all of it. How can I calm down?'
"So tell me again, Ara, why you shouldn't answer my questions?"
The Scion asked, his eyes seeming to lighten a bit, but not out of a lessening of anger. By now, his gaze seemed almost to be a deep shade of Cerulean blue, much like it had been in his past life, only a little darker. ________________________________________________________ 【 Who do you think you are, ordering me around like that? 】 ________________________________________________________ Velvet drapes, glowing candles,

Insomnia's breath tickled his ear and sent shivers down his spine. He suppressed the urge to scream. He actually thought about hitting him, but that would probably get him now where, very fast. Grabbing his arm, he lifted it over his head and spun around, ready to tell at him exactly what he though of his questions, but the words wouldn't come out. It felt like all the wind had left his body. He stood there frozen, staring into the eyes that had haunted his dreams so many times.
'Ara focus or I swear...' The same angry blue eyes stared back at him, but on a different face. The last Scorpio and Insomnia didn't really look alike, but they were similar in height and build. It was the eyes that sent him reeling into his nightmare all over again. Faces of his friends as they died, their screams echoing in his ears, but one voice blocked out them all. 'Ara, clam down. Everything will be fine. Trust me and focus dammit!' In the end everything wasn't fine. So many people had died, including Scorpio. Grief stuck him all over again. He didn't want to remember this. I tried...and it wasn't good enough, he thought. His hand was trembling and still clutching Insomnia's arm. There's nothing I can about it now...He choked back sobs, trying to push the grief back. He'd spent enough time grieving over people that had already been reborn. Even if they weren't the same they were still back.
Ara let go of insomnia's arm and wiped away the tears that had escaped with his sleeves. He took a couple deep breaths before looking at Insomnia again. He still didn't know exactly why he was angry. Why he cared so much. If it's about Tus ignoring him, then shouldn't he take that up with Tus? He wondered. Ara was just now starting to actually pay attention to everyone again and get to know them. He knew nothing about Insomnia, so why should he be forced to give him answers. I have questions too, Ara thought, wondering how mad Insomnia would get if he demanded he answer a question for every question he answered. He smirked, guessing it would probably earn him another punch.
Sighing, and blowing some of his hair out of his face. "Okay...I want to know something before I answer any of your questions and it's only fair that I get to have at least one of mine answered, right?" He smirked,not waiting for a response. "Why do you care so much?" He asked completely serious.

Next thing he knew, he was staring Ara directly in the eyes, his anger still evident by the color of his own as he awaited the others response to his words and actions. At first it seemed as though the Gemini half was going to say something but nothing came from his lips as he stared up at the Scorpio. Slowly, emotions trickled into him, becoming stronger and stronger the longer he remained in contact with the twin. He wanted to pull away, but as he watched, shock took over, drowning out a portion of his rage. The other was trembling...trembling and in his eyes he swore that he could see tears.
'Why is he crying? Did I upset him that much? I hadn't meant for him to break down like this...I didn't...but then again...if I hadn't wanted him to break down, what had I wanted exactly?' He thought to himself, even as he watched and felt the other drop his arm. Insomnia let it fall back to his side, watching the other as he swiped at the tears that just begun to run down his cheeks. The scion didn't know what to do any more, his anger was so drowned out by shock and confusion, that even though his eyes remained the same shade of blue, one could, it seemed, say that he had suddenly become calm compared to the storm that had been raging moments before.
However, that all came crashing to a screeching, grinding halt as he watched the Gemini-half. A smirk seemed to have slipped onto his face, taking the place of the pain and tears, with something that made Insomnia step back a little, suspicion and apprehension entering his blue eyes. 'What is he going to do? What is he thinking and why is he smirking like that?' He asked himself in his mind, before shaking his head to clear it. He was about to open his mouth to say something when Ara blew some of his own hair from his face, almost, as it seemed to Insomnia, in a cocky sort of manner. That only pissed the Scorpio off again, the male finding it extremely irritating that he would have the nerve to act as he was in front of him when he could snap again at any moment.
Yet still, he didn't get a chance to snap at the Gemini, because he had already begun to talk, the words bringing the males blood to a boil for everyone that left his mouth. Then that smirk...that wretchedly cocky smirk slid back onto his face and threatened to make the Scorpion lunge forward and slam the other in the face again. 'Does he have some sort of death wish?' He wondered, about to hiss out a response when Ara began to talk again, giving no chance or opening for him to butt in. The question however, was what really caught him off guard, at first threatening to cut off every feeling of anger he had, and then raising it back up through the roof. He hadn't noticed how serious the other male was, until he actually met his gaze. This cooled his anger as quickly as it had sparked it in the first place.
"Why...do I care...?"
He mumbled to himself, his thoughts spinning in his mind as he searched for the right answer to the question. It was something he hadn't really thought about...at least, not until Ara had asked him about it. As he let his gaze drift to the ground, he could feel the energy the rage had giving him drain away, leaving him so exhausted that all he could do was let himself collapse to the ground. As he fell, sitting heavily and slumping a bit, he let his thoughts wander. None of it really made sense, and the only thing he could actually manage to say, was something that popped straight to the front of his mind. He supposed it just had something to deal with instinct or whatever, so he didn't try to stop it.
"Well...maybe...maybe because I may actually consider you my friend..or at least...at least as I've said someone that I respect. I mean...I.."
He tried to explain, frustration making it hard to get the words out. Lifting his hands, he ran them through his hair, clenching his fists in them and tugging at the red locks before dropping them to his sides again, and standing suddenly. He was tired of confusing things, tired of acting on emotions or feelings that he didn't even understand or remember having. An icy glare took the place of his frustration and confusion, and Insomnia directed it at Ara.
"I don't know why it is. I guess it might be because I just have this feeling it's important. How, why!? I don't know! So just let it drop for now!!"
He screamed out before tearing passed the Gemini and heading towards his actual room within the chambers. At that point it didn't even matter if Ara followed him or not. He wouldn't be getting out anytime soon anyways...not until he could answer some questions. Insomnia hadn't even realized that while he had been sitting on the floor, tears of his own had begun to form in his eyes, even though only one had escaped. It had been when he had stood, and met Ara's eyes. Sorry for the crappy quality, and no, Scorpio isn't quite going soft on us. He is just stressed out beyond belief if you've noticed. XD He needs some sleep, which he doesn't do often. ))

Ara watched Insomnia queitly waiting for Insomnia to answer. A part of him found it amussing that his question was causing him so much trouble, another part of him was kind of worried that it was taking so long. How can he kidnap someone and not know why he did it? It doesn't make sense, he thought, watching Insomnia struggle for an answer. He was about to tell him not to worry about it right now and just answer him later when he started yelling at him. Ara jumped back a bit out of instict. He wasn't worried that he was going to hit him or anything, it wouldn't do much anyway unless he wanted it to.
Insomnia's answer only brought more questions to Ara. How are we friends if you don't know anything about me? What feeling? And...What is there to respect about me? I failed...everyone, he thought, biting his lip. Then he noticed that he was cryng, which only made him feel worse. Quickly, he ran after Insomnia, catching up to him. He figured he should say something, but what would he say. He wasn't going to apologize for asking, not when he was going to force questions on him. There was no way for him to know how Insomnia would react if he said anything, so he just followed behind him silently.

 ᴏｐɧｅℓｉａ ƚ ԋ ȩ ɧｅａℓｅɾOphelia nodded in response to the other Scion's gratitude of her small gift. Hopefully, none of them would ever have to use those crystals but if it did ever come to that, she prayed it would be enough. The last war had been utterly devastating; Ophelia had witnessed many of her close friends die in that war. She had tried so hard to heal them, she had used all her strength but in the end it had not been enough. They slowly died within her arms because she had been unable to prevent the harm that befell them. She could not bear to see any of the Scions die, not again. A warm tear slid down her cold skin, leaving a warm trail. She brought a hand to her face to find that she was shedding tears. Ophelia wiped them away and felt angry at herself for showing weakness in front of them. She simply stood back and listned quietly as they made plans to confront the Shengxiao. As they spoke, Insomnia appeared along with Aratus. Soon, the atmosphere became tense which made Ophelia uneasy. Those two never got along and would often break out in an argument of some sort that even went as so far to lead to a fight. She bit her lip when things did take a turn for the worse. Ophelia shook her head as she watched them. They began to fight but were soon stopped by the others. Ophelia had a sorrowful expression because they had been fighting amongst themselves. "We cannot let our differences separate us, not when we have a greater threat to face. How sad it is that we fight amongst ourselves. It can't go on... terrible things will happen if we turn against each other..." Ophelia said gravely. She looked down at the ground before walking to a bench where she sat down. ooC: i apologize for not replying so long, forgive me if my post is weird, i tried reading everything but skimmed through most of them... ♒ "No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight, In the shadow of your heart..." ♒

Clouds our hearts today  Iustitia watched the fight silently. It was common for Insomnia and Alephonze to argue, which wasn't good but could be dealt with as long as it didn't become more than that. She was about to step in when it looked like that was going to happen, but Aratus beat her two it. There are two of them, she thought, not really believeing what she was seeing. She had always felt something odd when talking to him and this was probably why. Her eyes narrowed a fraction, Why did he hide this from us? She wondered, but now was not the time for questions. Things only seemed to get worse. Leith and Alistrair weren't feeling good after having to deal with everyone's emotions. Alephonze and Endellion had chased after Tus, who she guessed was chasing after Ara and Insomnia. She sighed, wanting to help, but knowing she couldn't help everyone at once. She saw Ophelia sitting on a bench by herself and walked over in time to hear her comment. "I couldn't agree more." She sat down next to her. "I plan on doing what ever I can to put a stop to all of this. But, first, are you okay?" She asked, concerned. I hear their silence

I will break the spell you put on me, Insomnia (The Strategist) Scorpio ________________________________________________________ 【 I'm sick of the pity I always see in the eyes of everyone. 】 ________________________________________________________ Insomnia suddenly just wanted to be alone, wanted to push the other out of his chambers and let life move on. He wanted all of the confusion and pain to fade away again, back to where it belonged in the back of his mind where it was of no concern to him anymore. However, he knew that couldn't happen, nor would he let it, because for the first time in a very long time, he had a chance to get answers and felt as though he was getting somewhere. As the scion reached the edge of the entrance hall, he paused and let his gaze travel over the inside of his chambers. The place had hardly changed at all since he had entered it for the first time after rebirth. He often had to wonder why he had decided to keep it the same, but never really let his thoughts drift too far into the matter. One of the major changes to the place, though, that he knew of was the temperature. It had been cold when he had moved into the chambers, but to him, not cold enough...so what did he do? He made it even colder.
With a sigh, the Scorpio glanced over his shoulder to see if Ara had indeed followed after him, and was mildly surprised to see that he had. Then again, what other choice did the Gemini really have other then to do just that? Not many, really, unless you counted sitting near the door in some kind of hopeless belief that something might occur that would grant him some kind of freedom, or that someone would somehow manage to get into his room without the key, another option. It really wasn't if you thought about it. Without showing any sign that he had even taken notice to the Gemini Scion, Insomnia turned his gaze completely forward and headed in the direction of his actual room, feet clicking quietly along the tile floor as he did so.
"Do you have any other questions...Ara..or are you done confusing me to the point that I probably will go insane? Or is that just it, do you and your brother just enjoy making me go mad? ...granted I probably drive myself to that point enough to make up for everyone else in the damned celestial plain and probably put the ideas in my own head but do you really need to help move that along any further?"
He questioned, emphasizing Ara's name in the beginning, before turning into his bed chamber. However, he found himself pausing directly in the doorway as a thought struck him. The male wanted to lie down and rest, but he knew that if he did, the other would probably take that chance to try and search him for his key, or even the room if he believed it was in there somewhere. Resting was out of the question then, which only succeeded in pissing him off more. Clenching his fists, Insomnia turned back to look at the Gemini as though he were waiting for an actual answer from him. Of course he hadn't really expected one, or at hadn't expected a pleasant sort of answer in the first place, but he didn't want the other knowing just how exhausted he was. It was saying something if someone going by the name of Insomnia, was tired enough to actually feel like he needed to sleep and that he actually could. ________________________________________________________ 【 Who do you think you are, ordering me around like that? 】 ________________________________________________________ Velvet drapes, glowing candles,

ᴏｐɧｅℓｉａ ƚ ԋ ȩ ɧｅａℓｅɾOphelia looked to Istustia as she spoke, nodding in agreement. It was her job to keep the balance between the scions, yes if anyone was able to do anything it would probably be her. The others may not know how to handle the problem too well. No, that wasn't right either; the only ones who could solve this problem were Insomnia and Aratus. They needed, wanted to mend their relationship but it would be difficult. Those two were volatile beings so putting them together ended up in conflict, today being an example of that. "I'm fine... I just worry for the other's well being," Ophelia replied. Ophelia may have seemed calm, but that was not the case. She was worried of what was to come. For some reason, she got the feeling something terrible was going to happen. ♒ "No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight, In the shadow of your heart..." ♒

The first thing Ara noticed when he walked into the room was how cold it was. His jacket hardly did anything, even though he had two shirts on underneath it and the cold completely seeped through his pants. Leaving his boots as the only article of clothing that actually had any real affect. It hadn't even been a minute before his teeth started chattering and his fingers to be numb. His breath clouded and started to make his eyes water. Despite that, he had to admit it was beautiful. The walls were completely made of ice and he could see water trickling down over some. Most of it ran into the pool that completely took over the left side of the room, which had a huge ice fountain in it. The light reflected off of everything causing it to waver and make everything look like it was underwater. The effect was dazzling. It must not have changed when he was reborn, he thought, remembering the burn that Insomnia had given him earlier. He also remembered that Aculeus had never offered to let anyone in his chambers and now he could see why. Hopefully, I won't freeze to death in here, he thought, rubbing his hands together and hugging himself trying to keep warm.
Insomnia's little rant brought him back to the current situation. He rolled his eyes at him. "Like you really have room to talk about driving people insane." He said, walking up to him. "And as for questions the answer is yes, but I don't think you'd want to answer most of them. But I would like to know something. Is there any place in this ice palace that's warm?" He asked. He knew Insomnia himself was warm, but he wasn't about to go there. Not if I can help it, he thought . And I don't think Insomnia would care for me to try.
Ah, I'm so pissed
