Mockingstar wasn't one for being ignored. The swipe to the rear had been a warning to Moonpaw. The apprentice needed to start behaving like an apprentice. There was time for fooling and there was time for business. In the morning it was the duty of an apprentice to see if there was any tasks that could be done before heading out for training. Obviously not in that good of a mood the tom huffed. Striding he headed towards the clans entrance. "Moonpaw, let's go." Mockingstar wasn't going to wait for his loathing apprentice long. Today Moonpaw was going to get shown some serious fighting styles. Would need to get taught sometime.

Windkit watched the apprentice curiousity before lowering her ears when she saw he had to leave then pawed her closer brother in the face to hide the disappointment. "Ouch!" She heard Tigerkit yell meaning she hit him which made her snicker and pounced on him.

Moonkit let his ears flinch back hearing his mentor, getting to his paws as he walked over purring a soft reply, "Sorry to keep you waiting Mockingstar" bowing his head in apology as he looked back to Windkit giving her the "Don't worry I will be back to play" look, before walking out. Letting his fur warm up to the sun rays as he looked around then back at Mockingstar as if saying "Please don't hit my rear again" which was still red from earlier.

Appleblossom padded up to Eclipse with her adopted brother Pinetooth by her side. "Good morning, Eclipse." The tortoiseshell she-cat mewed cheerfully, settling beside the black-and-white she-cat. Pinetooth simply sat beside her, licking his paw as he nodded in greeting. "How have you been, Eclipse?" She mewed politely, though she receive a look from Pinetooth. "What?"
He snorted, "I have nothing to say..."
"Yes you do," she retorted.
"No, I don't you crazy she-cat." He quipped back.
"Right, right, then you wouldn't be denying it with so much sarcasm."
"All right, fine. Eclipse, she's wondering when you'll end up in the nursery with Mockingstar's kits." The auburn tom mewed, his dazzling green eyes full of mocking laughter at the tortoiseshell.
"Am not! What makes you think that?"
"Ah, let me think for a moment. Oh, from all the times you've pointed out how smitten our great leader is with Eclipse. Sorry, Eclipse if we're bugging you." The tom apologized as if it were Appleblossom's fault.
Mintcloud padded up to the nursery, for the kits morning checkup, coming from behind Windkit and Tigerkit. The little she-kit was as energetic and rough as ever. "Now Windkit, that's no way to treat your brother." The medicine cat mewed, picking the kit up by her scruff.

It was indeed true that Mockingstar wasn't going to wait for the apprentice. So paws kept the tom moving forward. Though, upon reaching the entrance slash exit of the camp, he turned his head to look over his shoulder just once. This was simply at the fact that his name had been heard. What was heard however made green eyes sort of widen in surprise. Woah! Truly that was a tad bit of a surprise. Pinetooth speaking of Mockingstar and Eclipse in such a way made the leader question. It was known that Pinetooth could be a bit of a pain in the rear so to speak. Rude would be a better word. No matter. As much as the little bit of taunting and questioning came to his mind, the leader shook it out of his head to head out of camp. There were things that needed to get attended to. Right now that was training Moonkit. Later however, Mockingstar would make it a mission to ask Eclipse about the conversation. Of course, if she wished to speak about it. He wanted to know what was going on within his clan. What they wondered and thought. What rumors were going on.

[Hi, Kiro, good to see you again.]
Appleblossom glared at Pinetooth when she noticed Mockingstar staring at them for a moment. "He overheard you, you loud-mouth." She hissed, feeling her pelt prickling with embarrassment, but excitement. She wondered if Mockingstar really did like Eclipse.
"Ha, it's fine. I just hope he doesn't punishment for voicing your opinion." Pinetooth purred, nudging his adoptive sister's shoulder. She really was too tightly wound sometimes. If their leader did overhear them, it was all for the better. He needed to know what his Clan was thinking about more often. He spent all his time with Moonpaw nowadays, he seemed oblivious to the rest of them.

Eclipse felt every muscle in her body tense up at the question, mockingstar's kits? She hadn't even thought of that question they were just really good friends it seemed to her or one of the few she had in the clan. "I-I have no idea what your talking about." She quickly turned away feeling her pelt growing warm with embrassment.
Windkit just let out a mewl of frusation at being picked up, trying to struggle herself free from the medicine cat's grip as she watched her brothers playing. Why can't I do anything...

Mintcloud purred in amusement as she placed the kit away from her brother. "Okay now, tell, me kits, how have you been feeling? No sniffles or bellyaches?" The medicine cat glanced at Honeyfern for a brief moment before her gaze rested with the kits once more. She trusted the kits to answer her honestly, but having their mother confirm or dismiss their responses was common sense. Her yellow eyes rested on Windkit first, since she was so energetic today. Surely the kit wouldn't have any problems.
