Vince sighed, feeling the quiet broken. He didn't look at Takai, as he continued to stare at the sky. "What do you want Reaper?" he asked. His tone wasn't harsh, but mellow.

"If you care at all for the fact you are fallen, then you could at least find some hope in the fact that you do still have a soul, meaning you can leave Earth for the Spirit World," Takai explained softly, looking up at the sky. "But... I must apologize for my reaction earlier... Dealing with the dead is hard enough. With battles and such, and Hell preparing to break loose, the Clan of Eight needs to stay united or else all the lands are doomed. I don't want to have to worry about more deaths than what there needs to be..."

She did not deserve to die." He side, finally looking over at Takai.

Takai kept on looking up at the sky for a bit before sighing quietly. "As a Fallen, you cannot return to Heaven... but since you still have a soul, you may at least leave this world for the Spirit World. It's close enough, in most cases, to that of what awaits in Heaven..." She paused for a bit before turning back to Vince. "Who was this girl that you speak of? The one who you saved that made you a Fallen?"

"If you're saying that I could pass over. My answer's no. I wish to stay. It's true I wish I could go home, but I made my desicion. As for the girl, she was a demon. A demon who had done nothing wrong to anyone." he said, knowing it was odd. A demon that contradicted themselves.

Takai merely shrugged at him before looking up at the sky again. "Then I won't try and persuade you. I've dealt with spirits and souls before that didn't wish to cross over and manged to get some to cross, but I know when there isn't anything even a Reaper like myself can do. Besides... You still hold one of the Charms of Eight... Can't have you crossing over just yet..."

Vince looked back up at the sky. "...I apologize for earlier. I acted in selfishness. Angels are taught against that."

She shrugged a bit, staring up at the sky as well. "Souls are souls to me. After all, without darkness, there can't be light. Without light, there can't be darkness."

Takai glanced at Vince through the corner of her eyes before staring at the sky again. "For now, I guess it would be smart to get some rest and meet up with the other Members of Eight that we have found. There's still a few more missing..."

"It's not exactly level headedness, but void of emotion. As a Reaper, being so close to the dead... most people change... It may have taken many years, but after a while, everyone changes. For me, I just want to take down Naraku and end this so I can get back to my duty without him interferring.."
