Trip smiled. "Right, I forgot that you can read thoughts for a second there. Okay, so finding him wont be hard, but defeating could potentially be difficult." The elevator came to a stop and he stepped out of it. he looked around, and located the door. No matter how long he'd been in this place, he still couldn't remember where the door was. He started walking towards it and waited for Ana to catch up.

Ana stayed close to Trip's side, not wanting to be left behind and lose sight of him. After all, it was still her first time here at HQ and she could get lost quite easily. "Have there actually been any recorded deaths by him? Like if he actually killed someone that got too close to his 'territory'? If there was, we could take a guess what sort abilities he has. If not, then when I listen to his mind plot out how to attack us, I might be able to pick up on what he can do."

Trip walked out the door and started walking towards the location of his mission. "That's the problem. There have bee recorded deaths, but we can only confirm that by how much blood was found at the scene. We've never actually seen the dead bodies of those that he killed." He told her. He reached for his side to make sure that he had his sword with him. Good, he did. He looked up at the sky and, judging by the position of the sun, it was getting close to five P.M.. Good, there was still a good three hours of daylight left. We should have enough time to finish this mission. H thought to himself.

Ana sighed but nodded. "Well, we'll have to be quick to adapt to any situation," she replied. At least she was able to think about this logically for now. After all, it was technically her first mission, and she didn't want to mess up. Taking a small but deep breath, she relaxed her thoughts and slowly took in all the thoughts around her. "Alright. Which way to the 'territory'?" she asked Trip, glancing over at him.

Trip sighed heavily. He looked to his right and pointed in that direction. "East. We'll find him three miles East." He said to her. He had a strange feeling about this mission, like something would go horribly wrong. He just shrugged it off and payed no mind to it. He didn't want to jynx(lol, a poke`mon XD) himself.

Ana nodded again and started walking by his side in the right direction. Listening to thoughts around her included Trip's. She tilted her head slightly at him when he thought about something going wrong. And I thought I was nervous... she thought to herself. With a sigh, she pushed that thought away and focused on the task ahead of them.

They walked for about forty five minutes to an hour at a steady, slow pace before reaching the general vicinity of the happenings. He drew his sword slowly and silently. There were still between three and four hours of daylight left in the skies. Trip looked around, checking every shadow, and tightening his grip on the blade at every un-identified movement. "Can you sense him?" Trip asked Ana. He didn't like the way this place felt.

Clark did as she was told, using her powers to slam the pebble to the ground. She smiled and chuckled a bit before looking at her instructor. "I'm ready!"

The instructor used his power to pull the pebble to him. He threw the pebble at her, and using his gravity power, he sped it up a little.

Ana stayed close to Trip's side as she shut her eyes for a brief moment. When she opened them again, she stared off into the distance as she let her mind expand, taking in any and every thought within the block. It was surprisingly quieter than she thought, considering the threat of anyone getting killed if they were to come too close to this man's 'territory'. For now, she tried picking out this unknown man's thoughts.

There were two apartment buildings, a hotel, a grocery store, a bar, and a toy store(Thankfully, the bar and toy store were on opposite side of the block). The mystery man was on top of the apartment building, looking down on his two new arrivals. He turned around, and started walking back to the center of the roof. 'I, Inu, Tori, Saru, Hitsuji.' The man slammed his hands on the ground and there was a large puff of smoke. His face stayed straight the whole time.
Trip was looking around when he saw the puff of smoke out of the corner of his eyes. He raised his sword in front of him. "I think I found him." He said to Ana as his pupils Dilated.

Ana looked up at the top of the apartment building and nodded. "He's thinking or mumbling some words. I, Inu, Tori, Saru, Hitsuji." she explained. Keeping her eyes on the rooftop, she narrowed her range to just the rooftop to focus in on the man. She did her best to enter his mind completely, trying to sort through his thoughts and possibly learn to find memories.

((I just thought this music fit the scene)) Trip raised an eyebrow at what she said he said. "They don't ring a bell" Trip saw two shadows jump out of the smoke form on top of the building and instantly drew back his sword ready to strike. When Trip saw what the second, new, figure, he 'reared(I think that's the right word...)' back. It was a frog. On two legs. With a sword. Now he was really confused. He'd never seen any magic like this. He'd never even heard of it before. It was definitely a Quarry. "Which one do you want to take?" He asked her.

Clark stared at the pebble that came straight towards her with a determined look on her face. Right on time, she used gravity to force the pebble to the ground and couldn't help but show her happiness.

The instructor Smiled. "Now lets try the bowling ball, or do you want something a little smaller first?" He asked her, making the bowling ball roll towards him.
