North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson Freshman She kinda pouted a little. "Well Christian's cooking beats Arthur's hands down any day." For whatever reasons she felt the need to defend her brother's cooking since his was close to her own. Charlotte was already on her 5th pancake. 'Oh lord' Things continued to get awkward with Leah bringing up the horrible times. Her eyes bugged out when she saw the white cobra. Charlotte froze in horror. Heather quickly ate the wonderful bacon like it was gold. The spaniel could sense the tension coming from her owner. She eyed the snake cautiously. The two had met before but she still wanted her human to feel safe. everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Massy came back when she was slapped, "oh hi guys" she said smiling. "When did you all get here?" she asked. Her snake Pointed his tail toward her sibling, "oh Hey sis no needed to be scared...he is really nice."

"Africa?" Andrew's eyes widened more. He had thought all people from Africa were, well, of a particular race. Since the term African American had become more of a polite way to say black he assumed everyone from Africa was black, too. He was learning all kinds of things and he hadn't even had his first full day of classes. "Is that far away?" Maybe his boss was right that he was too naive and ignorant about the world. He took a bite of his food while he tried to process the fact Seychelles was African then nearly choked on it when he heard Massachusetts even suggest Christian was equivalent to or worse than England at cooking. He looked at his brother and smiled apologetically even though he hadn't done anything wrong. "I like your cookin'," Tennessee said to hopefully soften any offense she had unwittingly caused. This was why the Deep South and the North had so many problems getting along! "You're one of the best in the South. Really." When Massachusetts started talking about what sort of punishments befell the women who slept next to men during her youth, his face paled. She wasn't helping him feel any better about what had happened. The song sent chills right up Andrew's spine. God, he hated it when she did these things he couldn't remotely understand, but it freaked him out. It reminded him too much of the Bell Witch and he shifted uncomfortably. "Um... hi," he said and was just glad she stopped then awkwardly offered her the peach he had gotten out of the fridge earlier. "Y-You want this? Since you like fruit..."

George "Christian" JonesGeorgia, U.S.A.Freshman I said where I come from It's cornbread and chicken Where I come from a lotta front porch sittin' Where I come from tryin' to make a livin' And workin' hard to get to heaven Where I come from Christian smiled apologetically to Cherelle. "Ah, sorry about that, Miss Cherelle. Arthur made it a point to teach me my P's, Q's, ma'ams, and sirs when I was a little one, and I guess you never really grow out of habits. My friends back home tell me I'm a little too polite, but I just tell them I'm a proud Southern Gentleman and they're just gonna have to give me time to get over it. Although, I promise to try an' go easy on the Misses if it bothers you too bad."
His mood was remarkably back to being as perky as ever now that Leah was sitting with them. It was interesting to get to know someone from Africa. Although, he really hoped he hadn't brought some of Seychelles's friends over a long time ago.... But when Leah started the whole witch thing, Christian sighed lightly. "An' y'all wonder why we can't have nice thangs. If y'all keep actin' like this, you're gonna scare all the nations away, includin' some of my foreign friends." Surprisingly, he was actually pretty good friends with China and was even learning Chinese so he could chat to the much older man without a translator. Who knew something as simple as wanting to save pandas would lead to such a good friendship?
Out Of Coke :: There aren't too many rules when you come here. Mind your P's an' Q's. Be polite to all ya meet. Take pride in where you're from. Tea is always sweet. And it's Coca-Cola, not Pepsi!

Massachusetts Leah looked at her brother with a smile, what did I do wrong?" she asked a bit confused, she then looked at TN, "no I only like apples and cranberries...I love cranberries." she said. She then looked at GA. "lucky, I couldn't call people miss or Mr. ...I had to call them Goody or Goodly. Like Goodly Seychelles,” she said. The snake was scared to looked at the other female state in the room.

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson Freshman The Carolina laughed nervously. "Uh welcome back sis." At least the nice Leah is back. "Oh I'm sure he is." She still didn't want to be near the seme-snake. She drank her milk to try to pretend the serpent wasn't there. Charlotte wanted to facepalm for her brothers question but kept quiet. "Most of the original 13 colonies were under England's care or those under France winded up going to his care. I was brought up the same things as Christian. I taught what I could to Andrew." The state looked confused to her sister. "Really? You were taught to say that?"everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

North Carolina certainly had done her best with her little brother, but sadly a lot of it hadn't seemed to sink in to Andrew. He had been a little too wild from living isolated on the other side of the mountains when she first took him in. Definitely he had come far since his youth and she had taught the unruly boy to be a gentleman to the best of her abilities, but it had never quite sunk in like it would have if he'd been taught from birth to behave. There was a distinct difference in his level of manners and that of his older siblings although he was a sweet boy who tried earnestly not to offend. Andrew's face fell when he heard Seychelles wasn't nearby. Since she mentioned being an island he wouldn't be able to just drive over to her house, either. Being far apart from someone he cared about sounded awful. It was only then he noticed she seemed surprised. "Somethin' wrong?" he asked curiously. Well, there were a lot of things wrong, but he was so used to the chaos of his siblings that he thought little of it. Besides, they didn't seem to be bothering her one bit which was really great. Cherelle was so nice, patient and accepting of all the weird quirks and personalities around her. Tennessee nearly blushed as he thought over her great qualities and felt sad all over again that they lived far apart.

Massachusetts Leah nodded, "it took 113 years to get out of the that habit" she said, "god I feel old...." she said She didn't know why but she started to wonder where Lili was, she hoped she was okay. "I had no choice to go with England, I ran away from him in the first place to get away from his cooking, and thus America was born." she said with a sigh, even though that’s not why she ran away in the first place. "Al should be more Grateful I ran away, I don’t think any of us would be here if I hadn't...well Virginia helped but her colony didn't last long..."

Seychelles Cherelle PetitFreshman "I think he tried to teach me something like that..." Cherelle laughed. "If he did, it didn't really work all that well!" Her manners were pretty much nonexistant.
Cherelle looked down, trying to find the words to describe what was bugging her. "Well... it's just... I can't believe you didn't know... Or that, you know, after you, or rather, I'm pretty sure it was you, Leah, who did it for him, asked me to the dance, you could've looked it up." she blurted out, trying to make sense. .x. .x. .x. .x.

Massachusetts Leah laughed a jumped up laughing, "it sooo was me! I'm the best sister in the world!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!" she said clapping. "HAHAHAHA" she laughed. She then started to dance around the room like a drunk. (Now I’m starting to doubt my last post where i said massy was not drunk...*sigh*) "WEEE HAHAHAHAA!" she yelled still dancing about.
This whole time the snake had fled from his masters shoulds and was sitiing on MAssy's chair.

Tennessee blinked. "Well, I kind of got caught up in some other things so I didn't have time..." he started then paused. No, if it was important enough to him he would have found time to research her. He frowned and thought for a moment. "I guess it really didn't matter much to me. Even if I didn't know what kind of place Seychelles was, I knew I wanted to be with Cherelle, so... it didn't seem important." He toyed with his food guiltily. "Sorry... It must be really insultin' to a nation for someone not to recognize you..." he muttered. "I didn't mean to make fun of you or nothin'." When Massachusetts started laughing his face flushed. "C-Cut it out, Leah!" he complained and felt as though his big sister was making fun of him. The dancing was even more embarrassing. "Quit it!'
