xxxxxxxxxxDies estNocturne
Good or evil? I can never decide.

xxxxxHISTORY
"The world is for my taking." These are the words of a prominent family in the East known as the Hasuyami. In the old days, back when war was always chosen first over diplomacy... and when diplomacy wasn't even really a thing, they stood as an extremely powerful and respected family, based in the Grass country. Although not quite as feared as the Senju or Uchiha, they were certainly more interesting, in their own right. The Hasuyami were all very ambitious. In fact, so ambitious, that they all ended up murdering each other in a game for clan leadership. No Hasuyami ever wants to be the underdog. They will conquer and burn until they shave their way to the throne.

Well, at least usually. It depends on when you talk to them. The Hasuyami are pretty weird. Some people wonder how they even manage to make successful relationships, and keep their blood alive. The answer is that they don't make successful relationships. They kind of just... breed, and consider it to be nothing more than that. Of course, like all humans, they long for companionship, but they're too screwed up to ever achieve it. The reason for this is that they're stuck between two extremes; light and darkness. You might say that every human is, but that'd be underplaying the meaning of it. They're not 50/50. They're 100% light or 100% dark, and can switch between these "persona" of theirs constantly. One moment, they're an absolute saint. Selfless, loving, devoted to happiness. The next, they can quite literally stab you in the back. However, this is an incorrect depiction of them, too. They're never really good. They're just so well at faking goodness that they can lure people's guards down.

If you couldn't tell by now, the Lukewarm are psychopaths. Calm and cunning, they plot for their moment of victory. The Lukewarm know of their own nature, so they can't trust each other at all. Mothers don't even trust their own children, and for good reason. After all, it used to be a matriarchy, before the sons of the Matron butchered her in her sleep. The Lukewarm stopped being a threat a long time ago, since they were always engaged in a war with themselves. However, even through all of the winters and summers, the wars and conquests, light and darkness will always thrive as long as we live.

xxxxxDESCRIPTION

The Lukewarm focus on "path-shifting", if you want to put it so simply. They can constantly and instantly switch between two methods of combat: the Servant of Darkness, and the Warrior of Light. The Servant of Darkness is a taijutsu-based style of fighting, whereas the Warrior of Light uses a sword and shield. Both use light and darkness jutsu to empower themselves.

xxxxxRULES
• You're a member of the blacklight class. The description is as follows:

XXXXXXXXBLACKLIGHT CLASS

XXXSTRENGTHS
STATS -- Thanks to extensive training in both taijutsu and weaponry, you possess the highest stats of any class.
TAIJUTSU AND WEAPON CLASS PERKS -- You have slightly trimmed down versions of nearly all weapon/tai class perks; high perception, flexibility, agility, physical hardness, and skill with your fists and with weapons (primarily the sword and shield)

XXXWEAKNESSES
NO ELEMENTS -- No elemental ninjutsu, and no sub-elemental ninjutsu. You only possess the ability to use light and darkness.
VULNERABLE TO GENJUTSU/ELEMENTAL JUTSU -- As the name implies.

XXXBONUSES
You can use taijutsu/weapon styles of a rank higher than you
You can learn any amount of tai/weapon styles
When the same speed or strength as a foe, you will always outclass them by a small margin
Capable of using hidden weapons, even hidden ninjutsu (which are listed in the BL techniques)

XXXLIMITATIONS
No sub-element/element
You may only learn 5 genjutsu
You cannot learn sealing or puppetry, although Warriors of Light can heal (since they're essentially based on paladins)

XXXUNTAPPED POWER
The Blacklight class possesses a very powerful untapped power. For six to seven posts (random number generator between 6 and 7), and only once a battle, you merge your methods of battle. This new fighting style is known as the Nephilim paradigm. While this manner of battle is active, all of the passive boosts of both forms are active, as well as a special ability; hidden ninjutsu. In order to chain "combos", you can instantly seal ninjutsu into your body via your tattoos, and release the techniques from your tattoos to barrage the enemy with sudden attacks. Your body will be enveloped in a gray glow while this mode is active. Your eyes will glow white, and your arms will be pitch black.

xxxxxBLACKLIGHT
Genin- Speed: 5(+2/-3) / Strength: 5(+3/-3)
Chunin - Speed: 6(+2/-3) / Strength: 6(+3/-3)
Jounin- Speed: 7(+2/-3) / Strength: 7(+3/-3)
Sannin- Speed: 8(+2/-3) / Strength: 8(+3/-3)
Kage- Speed: 9(+2/-3)/ Strength: 9(+3/-3)

• All members of the Lukewarm were born on the summer solstice. As such, if an RPC wishes to give birth to a Lukewarm child, they must do so on the summer solstice too.
• Lukewarm can detect other of their blood. They recognize their kin instantly.
• As an ironclad rule, Lukewarm will always either have white, black or grey hair.
• Timed techniques used in either attack mode still go on, even when you switch modes. For example, the death counter will continue regardless of the Lukewarm.

xxxxxWEAKNESSES
• All weaknesses listed in the class
• Lukewarm forge a bond with the shrine god of their home. While this brings them great power, it can also bring them great weakness.

xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• All strengths listed in the class
• The passive abilities given in each mode are very potent. Similarly, modes can be switched through instantly.
• Lukewarm forge a bond with the shrine god of their home. While this brings them great weakness, it can also bring them great power.

xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
SERVANT OF DARKNESS
• You can create shadow appendages while this form is active. Black, sharp tendrils... spiked tails, claws, whatever. Your body can easily become a weapon. However, the strength of the shadow is no better than steel.
• To personify the extensive focus on your body, Servants of Darkness can go up to one point beyond the cap in each stat, and have a +1/+1 boost to make reaching that cap easier.

WARRIOR OF LIGHT
• As a reaction to peril, or by your own will, your body will release bright white wings that look to be no more than radiant energy. They look like glowing neon lights. They can help you glide, jump higher, lighten falls, and can launch razor sharp feathers.
• Your holy sword and shield can be summoned instantly, and are almost unbreakable. However, your shield is no larger than your average tower shield, so it would obviously fail to defend you against massive ninjutsu attacks.

PASSIVE NOTE
• When you use a duration-based technique, such as the Wrath of Ra, Yami, etc, the timer only counts down when you're currently using whichever mode it belongs to. So, if you use Yami while in the Servant of Darkness form, and then switch to the Warrior of Light, Yami will disappear and will not count down until you return back to the Servant form. However, the count down will still go on unless you switch near the beginning of the post. So, if you're using Yami, and he spends at least half the post chasing the enemy down, you'll still have that post counted down.

xxxxxTECHNIQUES
SERVANT OF DARKNESS
The Agent of Hell B-Rank / Meter Points: 5
While the Servant of Darkness can easily and often create shadow weapons and appendages to fight for them, they can also create more advanced structures from their body. This one, for example, is a human. This shadow can instantly release from anywhere on your body, and possesses a long and poison-tipped blade that will plunge into the enemies gut if they're not careful. The point of the technique is to wait for an opening as the enemy deals with your fists, and then stab them with this. If the initial attack fails, it can also fight similarly to a shadow clone.

By the grace of God, your days are numbered S-Rank / Meter Points: 30
This ability... is a very potent one. By striking the enemy, you place a counter on them. Thirty posts. If they don't kill you within thirty posts, they die. By striking them twice, the counter falls to twenty. Three times, ten. Four times, death. Simply upon impact with their body (even a clothed area), the counter is left. At this point, their death is almost certain. However, a foe powerful enough and worthy enough can kill the Servant of Darkness and restore their hope. When the counter reaches its climax, then the victim will see only black as they're sent to the grave.
It should be noted that adding new counters (upon successful hits) does not cost more chakra/meter, only the initial counter does.

Smash Down Evil B-Rank / Meter Points: 5
With a release of your energy, your fists are no longer restricted by normal boundaries for two posts. They can move extremely quickly, to the point of phasing through the air in a blur. The point of this ability is to rapidly punch the enemy, and trigger multiple death counters. However, it has other uses; melee dominance, an immediate need of hand usage, whatever. The fists are cloaked in a black flame that will protect them from a degree of damage.

Evil Twins A-Rank / Meter Points: 10
This, like many other of the bloodline abilities, is an activated technique. However, instead of dispersing after a set duration, it will go away whenever the Lukewarm feels like it. This technique is very similar to the Twin Lion Fists (blue energy manifesting as gauntlets around your fists). However, there are a few differences:
1. The color is a purple-ish black, instead of blue
2. The shape is closer to a serpent than a lion
3. It's not meant for impacting pressure points, but instead for latching onto enemies. When an enemy is hit with the Evil Twin Fists, one of the snakes will bite into their skin and prevent them from dodging the rest of the incoming assault. Furthermore, the power of the technique will still increase impact damage, similar to the Twin Lions.

Absolute Evil A-Rank / Meter Points: 10
This is one of the hidden ninjutsu attacks of the bloodline, which can be triggered nigh-instantly when the time is right. WIP

A Shadow's Disciple A-Rank / Meter Points: 15
This is a sort of released state that most Servants of Darkness will use whenever possible. It allows them to ignore a certain form of physics, their body acting almost like a shadow. They can slide instead of dash, which essentially lets them constantly avert their position. They can almost instantly slide back from a dangerous range, and also break through a line of attacks by forcing themselves away. They can slide forward, too, and by bending forward, the speed of their movements are increased. Furthermore, they can fall back into their shadow if they can react quickly enough, and the shadow can also slide across the ground without inhibitions, as they prepare to escape from it. The shadow of the disciple in this state will exist even if there is no light to keep it going. An agile and unpredictable fighter, the Servant of Darkness showcases their agility and grace in the field. This technique lasts for seven posts.

Yami SS-Rank / Meter Points: 50
This is the greatest power of the Servant of Darkness. While the Untapped Power is active, it only costs 3/5s as much chakra and meter (45 chakra, 30 meter). Harnessing the dark energy of the Shrine Spirit, you can unleash a terrible entity of malice and despair into the field; Yami. He is a pale-skinned, white-clothed spirit with a shambling body and a long beard. He's tall, and looks very eery. He cannot be damaged or phased whatsoever; all attacks go through him. He moves about as fast as your average Kage ninjutsu user (7/7), and if he manages to touch the enemy in any way that involves making contact (including passing through them), they will immediately drop dead. Yami will remain on the field for four posts, and he cannot be repeatedly summoned; you must wait until his duration has ended plus another post before he can be brought back again. It's not advised to overuse him, because it will drain your meter.

This technique is mostly for maintaining field control. If Yami touches the caster of the technique, they won't die. However, if he remains in contact with them for too long (2 posts) they will begin to rapidly age and will turn old and grey within a few minutes unless they move away from him. This simply means that you can't use him as some sort of insta-killing shield; if you try, you'll die, or at least shave off many years of your life.

WARRIOR OF LIGHT
Fate is Optional A-Rank / Meter Points: 10
Whoever wields the light-bringer's shield at the time of this casting will be quickly replenished to full health. It closes almost all wounds. It CAN close fatal wounds, but only if they aren't yet that serious. For example, if a wound is going to turn fatal if it opens up any more, this ability can close the wound. If it's already gone to the point where death is certain, it cannot save the person... but it can greatly prolong their life by keeping death at bay. This requires no handseals. However, it does require that you wave your sword over the wounds before casting it. If the wound is somewhere the sword cannot even hover over, all you have to do is wave it over the skin covering the area. For example, if your heart has been struck, you just simply have to wave the blade over your chest.

I Endure A-Rank / Meter Points: 20
This technique is somewhat similar to the Shinra Tensei, but less potent. Gathering your energy into your chest, and then releasing it outwards through a heroic pose (while you gather the energy, your body winds inwards, and then the "pose" is simply your body moving outward again from its slightly curled position), you can push away enemies or techniques. The force is almost infallible, similar to the Shinra Tensei. However, the range and offensive capabilities are low, and it's not spammable (can only be used twice a match). This can be used almost instantly, so it's a good save if you're totally boned. Also, right after it's been released, you can immediately begin the assault even as your enemy falls back from the kinetic force of your defense.

The Wrath of Ra A-Rank / Meter Points: 15
By first holding your blade up, pointing it to the sky, and holding it there for a moment or two, you will catch the sun's light in its length. Apply some energy into it, and you can coat the blade with the wrath of Ra.

TWILIGHT

xxxxxTHE SHRINE SPIRIT
Because of their connection to the spirit of the shrine, the Lukewarm are capable of using their vast bloodline powers. However, like Axiom, they need to constantly nourish themselves in order to use their light and darkness. When their light and darkness runs out of food, they become truly neutral. And useless.

The energy will replenish over time (10 points a day), but it can be replenished much more quickly with a bit of determination. The Lukewarm can, for example, spend 10,000 Ryo to buy a shrine seal that will, upon digestion, return their powers to them. The price increases by 6,000 for every rank they gain. Another method is through murdering an RPC of one rank below them or higher, which will also fully return their light and darkness.

Depending on the rank, they have a certain meter:

Genin - 100 meter
Chuunin - 150 meter
Jounin - 200 meter
Sannin - 250 meter

The techniques of this bloodline cost chakra as well as light/dark meter. This means they are very costly, and should be used wisely.

xxxxxxxxxxUZUMAKI [u-zu-ma-ki!]
[ dattebayo! ]

xxxxxHISTORY/DESCRIPTION

The Uzumaki clan (うずまき一族, Uzumaki Ichizoku) was a prominent clan in Uzushiogakure. They were also distant relatives of the Senju clan and thus both clans were on good terms; an alliance that extended onto their hidden villages — Konohagakure and Uzushiogakure. The shinobi of Konoha integrated Uzushiogakure's symbol onto their uniforms and flak jackets as well as on the shoulders of their uniforms as a sign of friendship and goodwill between the two villages, and continue to do so to this day, in memory of their friendship even years after Uzushiogakure's destruction.

The bloodline of "Uzumaki" -- however -- did not die out, rather, it was carried on by small remnants who no longer resided within Uzushiogakure and kept their bloodline hidden to keep them safe from those who feared them. Eventually, when the world came to peace, the people of the Uzumaki Clan began to rise from the ashes again. They were led by the woman known as Takimi Uzumaki, wife to Arashi Uzumaki, who eventually taught her powers to her son and other clansmen before dying in a landmine accident much later after already bringing the Uzumaki back to glory. However, their bloodline still remains thin; it is extremely rare to see one of them, especially one with their bloodline's powers.

Please let it be noted that the Uzumaki were hunted to extinction for great reason; they were gifted by a bloodline on par with even the sharingan.

xxxxxRULES
• All Uzumaki MUST belong to the Sealing Master Class (included in this bloodline)
• All Uzumaki have a special saying that they were born with -- this saying is literally their first word, and although these sayings rarely have meanings, the Uzumaki tend to repeat them almost every other sentence (example: Naruto's Dattebayo or Kushina's Dattebane). This "catchphrase" must start with either a "t" or a "d" and the second letter must be an A, with the third and fourth being "t"s
• Uzumaki generally have red or blonde hair, however this is not a requirement
• The Uzumaki are even better than Heiland's at controlling bijuu
• Just to clarify -- the Uzumaki can NOT control bijuu! They can keep them from going insane, but they can't make them follow their orders, and there will be no techniques capable of doing this!
• This bloodline cannot be activated until Chuunin rank because sealing is depicted as an "elite" power; this counts as your sub-element
• The learning limits for Ninjutsu/Genjutsu are separate from Fuuinjutsu:

      D-Rank: Ninjutsu 15, Genjutsu 3, Fuuinjutsu 20
      C-Rank: Ninjutsu 20, Genjutsu 5, Fuuinjutsu 25
      B-Rank: Ninjutsu 25, Genjutsu 6, Fuuinjutsu 30
      A-Rank: Ninjutsu 30, Genjutsu 7, Fuuinjutsu 35
      S-Rank: Ninjutsu 35, Genjutsu 8, Fuuinjutsu 50
      SS-Rank: Ninjutsu 45, Genjutsu 10, Fuuinjutsu 70

xxxxxWEAKNESSES
• It is true that the Uzumaki are accurate at throwing projectiles -- however, their general taijutsu isn't really very good, and they cannot learn any taijutsu styles -- but may learn two weapon styles [fully]
• Uzumaki may only have one element -- however they may use any attacks absorbed by sealing techniques -- but only ONCE per absorption. They may also have two sub-elements.
• Only Special Jounin and above may use space-time fuuinjutsu!
• Generally weak against the unpredictable earth element as it is rarely ever a straight-forward blast of chakra -- thus making sealing it difficult unless you want to spend the chakra on sealing that whole portion of the earth
• Very weak at lower ranks, even Chuunin and Special Jounin, as this is a building class where you start off weak and eventually grow to be very formidable. Although sealing specialists can be useless without great talent, ones with talent can surpass many other shinobi with hard effort and work.
• The class lies on preparation; someone not always prepared with their seals in place and their strategies intact will do very badly with this bloodline. Planning is a must, setting is a must (good to lure opponents into planned territory), stealth is a must and a quick eye is completely necessary.
• No summon

xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• The only shinobi in the world capable of freely using space-time jutsu; however I use the word "freely" loosely -- it still costs a fair amount of chakra and even the highest Kage can become exhausted from overuse
• Although the Uzumaki only have very small chakra cost reductions [subtract 1/4 of the cost] on sealing techniques, they are gradually capable of sealing energy from the environment around them. Meant to prolong battles and slowly debilitate their foes as they draw down their chakra with sealing techniques, the Uzumaki are the best at lasting long and using over-enlarged amounts of chakra. By activating their tattoos, they will gain a number of chakra from the environment every post (3 at genin, 5 at chuunin, 8 at jounin, 10 at sannin, 12 at kage). This connection to nature also gives them a sense of nature; they can feel disturbances in chakra.
• As the Uzumaki often use sealing techniques by means of "rites" and "rites" can be placed onto weapons, the Uzumaki are very accurate when it comes to throwing projectiles for they often use them as the sealing points for their techniques
• Fuuinjutsu can be used without speech; you do not have to speak the technique you are using, you also don't have to use handseals for these techniques
• Capable of sealing their techniques into allies for [one time use] even if the ally doesn't have that element -- however, this must be done and prepared out of battle
• Fuuinjutsu technique training is halved
• All Fuuinjutsu are stronger by [1] rank, and can be shaped in particular ways (for example, a barrier can be shaped into a shield)
• Slightly enhanced perception due to their born-training of always needing to be aware and prepared
• Slightly faster than others of their rank because of their reliance on speed and quick timing

xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
• All passives are listed in strengths/weaknesses

xxxxxTECHNIQUES
( Almost all techniques are canon but have been renamed simply to sound better)
Technique Name: Sealing Key Release
Rank: Free
Description: The Uzumaki may use this technique to remove THEIR OWN SEAL and theirs only. By placing their hand upon that seal, they burn it off (doesn't leave scars/burns) and seal a kanji symbol back into their scroll, occupying some of the scroll's body.

Technique Name: A Survivalist's Eye
Rank: C
Description: A low-ranked and simple technique, the Survivalist's Eye allows the user to implant vision into a single one of their scrolls that will send them brain messages (similar to the Mind Specter) if something is amiss or they see anything peculiar. The most useful part about this technique is how there is no actual "eye" appearing, and the seal looks completely like normal so unless you're Pope Benedict the Third you're not going to notice that it can see you. The eye has three levels of brain messages; level one is a low level awareness and it will say "Think", level two is an alert awareness and it will say "Feel", level three is a fearful awareness and it will say "Know". If the seal says "Know", the Uzumaki will most definitely come to protect the seal from falling into the enemy's hands.

Technique Name: Mind Specter Technique
Rank: C
Description: A technique that can only be used on one person at any given time and must be re-applied if it is to be used later, the Mind Specter technique is an ability where the Uzumaki may link their speech into someone's mind. It's a seal that takes the form of a kanji tattoo on the target's neck (kanji for "wind"), and this allows the two to inter-communicate through thought. The seal never runs out unless manually removed by the Uzumaki, and is generally placed onto an ally before battle.

Technique Name: Ghost Shadow Technique
Rank: B
Description: By sealing a portion of their energy (which can be rested back to normal) into their shadow and allowing for the shadow to gather general energies from the nature around it, the Uzumaki can stock up to 40 energy in this shadow which can be used later in battle at any time by performing a simple handseal. This technique can be used at night or indoors and it overlaps other shadows; becoming as dark as possible as if to stand out. This -- however -- can make the user's movements more predictable, and this technique takes 1 post for only 1 chakra point, meaning it takes 40 whole posts to stock up for later battle use.

Technique Name: The Prisoner's Key
Rank: Depending
Description: An esteemed Uzumaki technique to assert their dominance over other sealing specialists, the Uzumaki may destroy barriers made by opponents using the same amount of chakra they put into it. However, this does not work on all barriers -- Uzumaki barriers cannot be broken by this technique and neither can S+ barriers. It also requires one post of complete focus and thus is extremely dangerous to use in most combat unless aided by allies.

Technique Name: Advanced Arsenal Sealing
Rank: B-S+
Description: This technique is capable of doing more than just sealing objects like weapons; but sealing chakra-implanted objects and even techniques. This technique, at its best, is capable of sealing even bijuu into items (such as the pot Shukaku was sealed into) rather than hosts. Simple sealing like sealing jutsu or chakra weapons for later use is fine and easy. However, on the level of sealing even bijuu or large chakra masses will require [3] posts of prep time. Let it be noted that the object the bijuu would be sealed into would need to be treated extremely delicately -- thus it cannot be sealed into a weapon or something you could use like that. This can be used to transport bijuu to residential areas safely so that a jinchuuriki may be found in peace.

Technique Name: Hidden Object Shell
Rank: B
Description: An invisible technique, this creates an orb barrier around an object by forming a few simple handseals. The orb is completely invisible until hit, where it will reveal itself to be a glowing yellow ball before returning into its see-through state once more. Despite its low rank, the size of this barrier contrary to chakra consumption means it is actually quite powerful; and most physical or jutsu means cannot destroy this ball. However, it's too small for anyone but children to fit into, so it is clearly made to either protect young children/babies (such as potential jinchuuriki) or cargo and other small objects you could think of in your free time.

Technique Name: The Prisoner's Binds
Rank: B
Description: A technique used for a long time to restrain targets and even bijuu, these chains are incredibly powerful and specifically meant to lock around the demon's massive frame. The chains come from the user's body and can be used freely generally to wrap around targets at fair speeds, but to completely suppress an opponent's movement you must cease your own movement as well. This technique costs B ranked chakra per post to uphold and is nearly impossible to free yourself from once caught.

Technique Name: The Prisoner's Cage
Rank: A-S+
Description: This is an extremely powerful barrier jutsu that is meant to keep hostiles or even allies out of its range. It's large and can be used simply by molding several complicated handsigns, and is nearly unbreakable except for against other sealing masters (after spending 3 posts of sealing the barrier into a scroll it will dissipate) thus making this ideal in keeping yourself or your allies safe in a troubled time. This technique was used by Kushina Uzumaki to keep the Konoha ninja from the dangerous field of the Kyuubi, and exponentially increases the potency of the Prisoner's Binds technique by creating it from the walls of this barrier. It's very exhausting on the user, however, and it can only be used once a week (real-time).

Technique Name: Time Destruction Escape
Rank: S
Description: The Time Destruction Escape is a technique where the Uzumaki will place a large seal upon any object (includes clones) and this seal will be prepared for later use. This seal can be used one time and one time only (meaning if you want to use it multiple times in battle, you must set up multiple seals) to immediately transfer the sealer's organic body into the object, creating a Kanji mark for "life". During this time, the user will only have a ghost-like, "go-through" body of chakra that takes his/her features, colors and shape -- much like facing some Ghostly form of the Uzumaki. Although one may think this technique is perfect to use for a dodge -- which it is -- it has much more dangerous uses at its disposal. The seal's transfer between the Uzumaki and itself is immediate; he/she can immediately re-materialize, even inside of the enemy's body. Often used to seemingly slip through an opponent's body only to crush and burst them from within, this technique is unpredictable and deadly indeed. It can only be used three times a battle, and for two posts each time, during which the opponent is in a very vulnerable state. However, if the seal is destroyed while the body is still contained within it and the Uzumaki does somehow not know and transfer it back in time, his/her body will be destroyed forever and he/she will be stuck in this ghostly state which will dissipate five posts later.

Technique Name: The Mask of the Clowns
Rank: S
Description: A time-space teleportation technique, the user will place a seal upon an object -- any object, including another person -- and after placing this seal, the Uzumaki has the ability to teleport to wherever that seal currently is. The user will disappear into a swirling black (much like a black hole) and then reappear regularly at that location -- however, this technique cannot be used on an object over four-hundred feet away and thus you cannot magically skip country to country using this. Also, the object must have been legitimately marked some time -- you can't just appear anywhere and say "he/she marked it during his travels". If mods ask for evidence of your marking in some post then you must give it to them. The seal is rather obvious as it is the Uzumaki clan symbol surrounded by four black lines like a cross, so it's hard to hide. This technique may be used in conjunction with the Time Destruction Escape. Unlike the Flying Thunder God, you can transfer another person with you when you use this. That's the distinction between the two, really.

Technique Name: The Death of the Clowns
Rank: S
Description: The Death of the Clowns is a variant of the Mask of the Clowns that transports other people instead of yourself. It is very close-ranged and requires a few seconds to completely suck any enemy in, but it involves a swirling black hole emerging from your left eye that will send the enemy into an alternate dimension. The attack is a deadly one-hit kill, as there is no way to escape this dimension unless the attacker returns to it and lets you go free. However, it is so close ranged that it can only work on enemies within five feet of you, and if they escape (very, very difficult under almost all circumstances) you've wasted a ton of chakra. Using it, however, takes a smaller amount of time to use than with the Clown's Mask, and if strategically performed, it can mean an almost complete chance of death. It's a very risky technique to perform, however, and since the Uzumaki are terrible at taijutsu, getting into close range is not ideal. It should be noted however that the technique can also be used to contain allies that need protecting, and as such this technique can, on the flip side, also eject objects from the realm.

The technique cannot be initiated immediately, it needs one post of focusing on said target before it can be released. However, once caught, an enemy will most likely never be able to escape unless their speed is insane.

Technique Name: The Freedom of the Beast
Rank: S
Description: An extremely powerful sealing technique, there are two ways to use this; one benevolent, one evil. This technique is used to break the bindings of a demon and a vessel. This can either be used to break a demon free of someone's control (for example, an Uchiha/Senju) or it can be used to release a demon from its jinchuuriki. By placing their hand (must have their own blood on it as well as the opponent's blood if they're a jinchuuriki) on the opponent's chest and surging black tattoos onto their body, they break someone's binding with a demon and free it from its "hold". This can be used to free demons from jinchuuriki even if the seal was done by another Uzumaki. During childbirth, jinchuuriki are much more vulnerable to this technique, and it requires only half the chakra without needing to obtain their blood. However, most hosts won't die from this technique unless the demon was very powerful (7 tails and higher), and this puts the Uzumaki in danger of this technique as well since they can't control demons.

Technique Name: Eight Trigams Sealing Style
Rank: S
Description: The ultimate demon sealing technique capable of sealing even the Kyuubi into the host with minimal rebellion from the demon, this is the Uzumaki's most prized technique in the world. This is one of the secrets to their expansive demon control, and is a nearly unbreakable seal that not even other Uzumaki can break, regardless of chakra or rank (the Freedom of the Beast can break it, however). This technique -- however -- can be weathered down as time goes by, so the Uzumaki may need to re-strengthen the seal every now and then. When the "key" to this technique is used, the jinchuuriki's control over their demon will enhance, leading them into the eventual path of what seems like full control.

Technique Name: Space-Time Calling Technique
Rank: S
Description: A technique meant to be used on extremely powerful ninjutsu, this technique is capable of sealing away even a tailed beast ball and calling it to another location. Requiring only a few complex handsigns, this technique can be a lifesaver if you're willing to use the large amounts of chakra. This ability requires concentration for larger attacks, so that you can choose their destination, and can seemingly appear out of nowhere.

Technique Name: Flying Thunder God
Rank: S
Description: This powerful technique involves placing a seal on any object (including humans). You will be able to transport to this object almost instantly from practically any distance. The issue of this is its unpredictability; you may end up teleporting into a very dire situation, and even if used on an enemy, they may have a back-up plan that could even instantly kill you if you warped at the wrong moment. However, it's a powerful and unexpected technique, an instant transportation that can leave the enemy dead or barely alive and even protect you from death. It costs a great amount of chakra, though, so it's unwise to use and abuse it.

xxxxxSEALING SAGE

The "second stage" of this bloodline goes only to the bloodline head, and is considered the "Sealing Sage" class. In exchange for the ability to use any elemental jutsu (can still use their second sub-element), and any genjutsu save for Kai, their sealing, barrier and space-time jutsu are reduced by a cost of 10 chakra or 33% chakra (total; it doesn't stack with the other 25%, it also can't reduce any cost to 0), and they get a special sage ability of their choice, as long as it's been approved by the Captain. The current sealing sage is Christian Uzumaki, who has the ability to lay down seals on anything he makes any contact with, even contact with his hair, weapons and clothing. He can essentially step on the floor and leave a seal there, or his sleeve brushing against your shoulder could place a seal on you as well.

Sealing Sages also have a special ability that is similar to the arsenal seal; they may transfer seals through things such as water, gasoline, walls, etc. Any object that can convey the elements is almost fair game, but air and other gases are not acceptable. Finally, as sealing sage, the natural energy constantly flowing into Christian's body assists with his perception a decent amount, helping to get a feel of the surrounding area.

XXXXXXXUser Image

XXXX UNTAPPED POWER
As a class themselves, the Uzumaki have an untapped power. This untapped power is not meant to solidify their strengths, but back-up their weakness. Normally, the Uzumaki have weak offense. But this untapped power is meant to weaken that load. Every three posts, and only three times per battle, the Uzumaki may draw in a powerful amount of natural energy into their body, and release this raw form of energy as a Jounin ranked blast of blue light. It is about the size of the Great Fireball technique, and is mostly meant to draw the enemies chakra down as they defend against it. The natural energy is drawn by inhaling and relaxing your body, and released by placing both palms in front of your chest, faced at the enemy.

*Sealing Sages can transfer physical contact seals through objects, just to clarify.

xxxxxxxxxxTHE INCUBUS
[ A monster among men. ]

xxxxxHISTORY
It must be a curse meant for mothers, that the Incubi exist. In the dark of night, when locked in sleep, a person's fantasies can come to life. Every adolescent with interest in exploring sexuality can find themselves locked in a world that isn't quite the same world as their peers. Like a beacon, an Incubus seeks out pleasure and wishes to accommodate it. The dance for that person's innocence will begin with images and dreams, then physical manifestations of their lust. The Incubus will take a spiritual form, circling around the desired and alarming them with sensuality. Then, when they've weakened themselves, they will manifest their physical body and a long night will ensue.

This is what the most glamorous storytellers would help you picture. They'd want you to believe that the Incubi are charmers, mystical men who desire solely to please the bodies of young men and women. Sometimes, this is the case, but many times it's something quite different. Young people will find their objects possessed, their dreams shifting to nightmares. They'll feel unnatural sexual urges at strange times, and will sometimes even feel a form of possession; they'll wrongfully make sexual maneuvers on their friends and sometimes even family. They'll do whatever they can possibly do to please the sudden longing in their bodies.

And when they can no longer take it, that is when the Incubus will come. That is when that man, who is both beautiful and terrifying, sensual and wretched, will come to capture your body. The dance will last a lifetime, whether you enjoy it or not. Sometimes it's a mutual thing between the two. Sometimes it's rape, or abuse. Either way, he will leave you when you are done, and that will be the last time you ever see him. From that point on, you are marked. You will never attract another Incubus again, as you are defiled. Succubi will shy away from you, disgusted by what's been done to your body; the Incubus has explored every bit of you, and claimed it. If you're a woman, this can lead to something fearsome and often unwanted. Indeed, you will give birth to an Incubus son, and there is no way to avoid that. Cut your own throat, he will live. Remove your womb from your chest, he will live. Roll down a hill, fall off a cliff, he'll live. And he will always know where you are, and he'll always want to come find you. His father's mark was a sign of matrimony between you two; this Incubus, your son, will be with you forever.

And he'll be heartless. Your child will be more sought after than all other humans. He'll be handsome, to the level of song and story. He'll be smart like the point of a quill. And yet around him, for his whole life, will be broken hearts; yours, the boys and girls of the neighborhood. He'll detest them, and rain the sun down on them from his magnifying glass, like insects. You, like them, are just a human woman. You will be abused and in the end, when he's ready to face the world, left alone in shambles.

xxxxxDESCRIPTION
Ancient tales say that the Incubus and Succubus were conceived from one special union; Lust and one of the most powerful demons of hell bonded, creating the first Incubus, Eklopyter. The first of his kind, Eklopyter contained all of the powers of both demon and sin, a man of extreme power, beauty, and mystique. He bewitched cities and left nations drooling over him, and with time impregnated many women, creating many of his kind. With time, he changed the bodies of girls into Succubi to spread his blood outwards, and so began the first generation of Incubi and Succubi. However, there was always a difference between the two.

First of all, Incubi are closer to their demon side. While they possess the powers of both fallen and sin, the demonic half of their coin glimmers ever-brighter. They lust and desire more for their own pleasure rather than for self-defense, their strength stemming from other things. However, you cannot count out the Incubi's ability to please. From their great matron, they have gathered the ability to manifest in the most sensual ways, and can bewitch others as they seek. Much of their power lies in what others perceive of them. They turn their foes into their own enemies.

xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• Extremely seductive. Like Succubi, you possess the ability to instantly seduce others as long as they're two ranks below you. It's said that this becomes possible only due to their astounding beauty, but that is only a supplement. The Incubi are indeed far more handsome than all other races, but their seduction lies in the magical energy they are born with. This energy flows around them and into the air like cells into a vein, bewitching any they seek.
• Extremely high amounts of energy (1.5X the regular pool).
• Ability to manifest aspects of the demon at will. They can extend a tail, wings, sharp fingernails, as well as horns when they please.

xxxxxWEAKNESS
• Many problems with interaction. They are extremely arrogant and self-loving, often cruel to others. They will find far more enemies than friends, even those who lust for them. They are the type of people to believe that they can do everything by themselves, and become detached from others for their whole lives.
• Unholy creatures, one rank weaker to holy magic.
• Incubi can get caught up in the game. They can destroy themselves lusting over others. When a particular target is challenging or especially attractive, they will lose their minds trying to capture their affections. This is more of a vanity thing than actual love for that person, but it can result in ruinous penalties. Anyone who is close to that person will become your enemy. You will find yourself extremely jealous of people approaching them, and this will often lead to physical violence.

xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
The Demon's Dance
The way the Incubus seduces others with their charms. Regardless of rank, the affected will find it very difficult to deny them. If the subject is two ranks lower then the user, they're automatically seduced. The higher ranks can be seduced as well, but it'll be more difficult. Once captured the target focuses only on the Incubus, sort of like tunnel vision blocking out the surroundings. To clarify, seduction is energy. It is not eye-sight or hearing based. It's an aura that pushes outwards and seduces people. It can't be blocked by barriers/etc. People seduced will not attack you, and you can basically force them to do things depending on what you say. They won't hurt/kill themselves or attack another person.

The Game
This can only be applied to someone the Incubus has met before. Since Incubi appear simply as men, it's impossible to tell them apart from others. The moment you meet them, they can register your desires. They'll remember you, and discover the aches and wants of your body. They'll know what sort of kinks you're into, and what type of person you like. They can use this to seduce you in person, or they can use it to manifest in your dreams. They'll send a little fraction of themselves to wherever you lay your head at night, and corrupt your body with their touch. When a victim is stronger and more able to resist them, they'll stick to beautiful and elated imagery to keep you hooked on your fantasy world. Timid and fearful victims will often be tormented with their desires, controlled by them rather than gifted them.

When a victim is truly infatuated with their fantasies, or crippled into submission by them, the Incubus has the power to manifest their spirit completely. They will then loom over them, and please their bodies however they want. This is most often used simply for the personal satisfaction of an Incubus, but can also be used for assassination purposes; ie, if the Incubus has reason to kill the target he's seduced, he will. The Incubi cannot use this ability to teleport to people while in combat, or to teleport to people who are in combat. The opponent will not suddenly be alarmed by the Incubi, but worked into it. They'll know they're coming, and will eagerly await them.

xxxxxTECHNIQUES
Clouds D
Usually, an Incubi's wings can only glide and help reduce the impact from falling. With this ability, though, you coat your wings in energy and allow for full flight, for a time. This energy will remain on your wings for three posts, at which point you will have to re-apply it. You gain +2 speed while flying.

Throats C
With a bite deep into their neck, the target will lose all ability to resist your seduction. They will immediately go under heat, lusting and desiring for you. This feeling is described as being extremely sensual, for both the Incubi and the bitten. However, consecutive bites can quickly drain the target's energy away and leave them completely immobilized.

Rings A
A demonic power. Circling around you will be two rings, coming over your torso from your waist to a bit above your shoulder. The rings themselves are see-through and can be passed through easily. However, on each ring will be three beads. During any time since activation, you may fling one or more of these beads, and they will explode into a chaotic blast that extends about fifteen feet outwards. Flinging them is as simple as throwing their energy at a target. These beads may also be glued to parts of your body, and if these beads are directly hit, they will explode and damage only whoever impacts them.

Emblems A
A shield of demonic energy will cover you in a complete field of protection. Everything within ten feet of you, for the next post, will be immune to damage from things A rank and below. The power of higher-ranked techniques will still harm you, but will deal you a fair amount less in damage.

Demons S
Requires Master Rank, Requires Self-Performed Mission of 5000+ words in length. The mission should describe the process:
1. The inquisition of how to turn into a demon
2. Searching for a demon that has entered the mortal world
3. Finding the demon, gaining their trust. This can be done verbally, sexually, or even by showing them your power
4. Killing the demon and harvesting their remains. Just as Azazel drank a demon's blood and ate his flesh to become the first vampire, Incubi can master their demonic power by killing demons and using their bodies. Eklopyter, grossly, performed necrophilia on the dead demon. The other Incubi after him (of which there have only been 1-2 to undergo this transformation) have eaten the dead corpse

This is the final step. Once you take this leap, you won't be able to go back to the way you were. Your demon half will eclipse your sinful half, and your power will multiply. First of all, your appearance will change. Incubi who turn into demons tend to take back from their development cycle, growing taller, more intelligent; a superior, more apex predator. Their skin goes paler and sometimes greyer. Usually, your teeth will grow sharper, and your eyes will begin to turn silvery. The process of turning into a demon usually takes days. For Incubi who are physically weak (such as mages, necromancers, etc) will take much longer (weeks, months) to integrate the demonic power through their body, as they will be overwhelmed with pain when they try to rush the process. When the process is finished, your body will begin to more rapidly change, and eventually you'll become a pure demon. Your sinful side will completely vanish, and so will your connection to the matron, Lust. However, surprisingly, not all that much changes about you.

Lucius was a very sexual demon. He, as well, had the power to control the hearts of others. Like him, you will grow brutally strong, but may also be charming and seductive. It is impossible for an Incubi to escape from their true roots; they will always be immersed in passion and sexual desire.

Tongues B
Requires that you've become a full demon

Locking lips with someone and letting your tongues dance, you can then begin to channel your power. This sweet kiss then becomes a curse on their body, and whether they lay egg or seed, their child will become someone much like you. This is another way Incubi create Incubi; they can assure that a child of their own kind is created, with just this kiss. That person will always feel the need to watch over and protect their Incubi child, regardless of how they may find themselves treated by them. Then, in time, they will give birth to more and more Incubus children.

Feelings A
Requires that you've become a full demon

The Incubi can perform something paramount to telepathy. This is actually a form of demonic possession, but weakened. Channeling your energy into their body, you can make the target feel all sorts of things. Pleasure, elation, arousal, pain, sadness, anguish. There is only one specific feeling you can make any target feel at one time. You cannot make them feel multiple things. Combined with your seduction and charm, this can make people fall on their knees for you. Or, combined with your ability in battle, the pain or irritation can really make a difference.

Skins S
Requires that you've become a full demon

This costs high energy to activate, but will remain active until you decide to turn it off. With this ability, your skin becomes extremely cold to foreign touch, far below zero. Making contact with an Incubi at this point is like dashing into the world's most horrific blizzard, with hail and frostbite coming upon you. However, contrary to what you might believe, this experience is extremely pleasurable for whoever feels it. They will, rather than flinch, want more and crave more. It is said in ancient lore that the most powerful of Incubi could seduce a dozen people, lay with them, then make an ice sculpture of them all. While that seems a little far-fetched, it may not be out of spectrum for a practitioner of this ability.

Futures S
Requires that you've become a full demon

This is a powerful ability that the Incubi may perform on someone they are having sexual relations with, and only during the act. It's so subtle that you won't notice it; a tiny, faint glow against the palms that may brush against your skin. This ability ensures that people they've made love to will not betray them. How? It sets up a certain calendar event within their body. For example, the Incubi will whisper to their heart: on the twenty-eighth of the final month, you will be unable to control yourself and will come find me. You will lust for me and need me, and I will be there. These appointments are not to be taken lightly, and the Incubi will always deliver on their word. Until this day, however, the recipient of this spell will never desire to hurt or kill the Incubi. They will instead feel a closeness with them, something similar to a blossoming love. They'll often think about the Incubi, and it will slowly build up until, on the promised day, they will want to see them again.

This promised day can only be within a few months of the current day. So, you cannot set the date to a hundred years later or something. This ability is actually commonly used by Incubi who legitimately wish for someone to love them, and they will slowly guarantee their target's love with visits every so often, with the blossoming feelings growing like a weed into their heart. For the most part, though, this is used to remove potential threats.

The date can be up to three months later. If you miss the appointment and don't meet them, then you miss the chance to safely reapply the spell.

Winters S
Requires that you've become a full demon

An advanced version of "rings". This ability coats your body in an energy shield that, upon being struck, will explode and devour whatever hits it. It will not hurt the demon. Similarly to Rings, you may launch shards from the energy barrier around your body at foes, and they will explode for a freezing blast of about twenty feet. There are ten shards. You must specify from which part of your body these shards have come from.

Finales SS
Requires that you've become a full demon

Because you are a demon, this power is something you have unlocked. Like all demons, you will be sent to hell when you die. However, like all demons, hell is not death, but simply your backyard. With proper timing and with help from the surface, you may escape your construct and once again leave through the gates. This starts off by contacting people who were close to you in your mortal life, or even people who you believe could be of use to you. You will whisper into their dreams, bring pleasure to their body at night. You will tell them of your plight, and how you must escape. At that moment, they themselves must make the conscious decision to help you or not. If they decide that yes, they will help you leave your prison, then a chain of events may begin.

1. They must taint themselves. Like in the waystone ritual, they must have sex with a virgin and then sacrifice them once they've lost their innocence. When the sacrifice is over, they will chant your name and spray blood over the corpse.

2. They must empower themselves; they have to be of at least adept rank.

3. They must find you a mortal vessel. This must be an RPC. Once they've killed the target, they can chant your name once again. This will keep it clean and fresh so that they can enter it once the final ritual is over.

4. They must lay with the corpse for thirty nights, cumulatively. At the end of those thirty nights, the demon will possess the body and awaken beside them. In return for the gift of life, the demon can never hurt or kill the person who has brought them back, and must respond to their calls for helps if they have any. Such is the contract.

xxxxxADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Explaining the Incubi's power
The Incubi draw their power from their father, Eklopyter, and his father, Lucius. This demon, Lucius, was one of the greatest demons of hell. So powerful was he that the gates split open and allowed him into the mortal world at a whim. He hunted for the sins, curious as to their power; they were like demons, supernaturals and humans, but at the same time separated from them. They were a new power, on a league of their own, and they rocked the mortal world. He desired to obtain them, usurp their power. He desired to become the King of Hell, using them as his conduit. Unfortunately for him, he learned that pure demons could not contain these creatures, but that didn't change anything. He wanted to at least understand what they were.

So, he continued to look, and he found. Deep in the ruin of an ancient city, he found a tribe of people hailing a red headed woman as their Goddess and Queen. They were exhausted on the floor, all of them spent and lusting for more. This sight brought him great curiosity, as well as excitement. He wanted to know just what was waiting for him deeper in the ruins. However, all he found was a note; she had known he was coming, and wished to avoid him for her own safety. Lust did not want to be made into a demon's hag, or a demon's coat of skin. She realized the difference in their power: that if he willed it, he could crumble her to dust on a whim. However, because of this difference, he eventually caught her anyway. In the chase, he felt passion, and he let this out when he claimed her body. From his seed, the child was born. The new race was at hand.

Yes, as it has been told, the Incubi are closest to their father. Eklopyter, a loving son, was even said to have become a demon in his last days on the planet. He then joined his father in hell, leaving the mortal world forever behind. But with his leaving, he left his sons great knowledge of how to use the power of the demons. Lucius, in particular, was a demon whose power was built on brutality. He was a fighter, not a lover, not a contractor, not a liar. It is because of their connection to their demon half that, even while they have the potential to be wily and charming, they tend to be more straight-up and honest. They do not attempt to soothe and seduce people, but rather they make them feel as if they're just that much better. They will allow the people surrounding them to have a taste of their beauty that is both demonic and sinful, and leave them wanting for more.

That, however, is just a part of their power. What really lies within the Incubi's arsenal is a whole load of demonic spells. It's even said that, in the height of their power, they can surpass their limits and become much like Eklopyter, something far from Incubus. With this, they give up a majority of their sinful side, and embrace complete harmony with their other half.

Once you've become a demon
Because there are different types of demons, you can consider yourself far separated from the Diabolus and Dreadnoughts. You are a completely different creature, from a different sect of hell, and with a different intention. Of course, it will be easiest to simply describe the changes inside of you.

1. You may now set up waypoints in areas. Using these waypoints, you can travel through the gates of hell and appear all over the world. The only way a waypoint can be used in combat is if you have already set up that waypoint in the thread far prior. Waypoints are massive red stones. The only way to connect a waypoint to hell is to bed a virgin against the stone, then sacrifice them when they've lost their innocence. You may only own six waypoints at any time.

2. Each demon has their own weapon that brings them great pride. Incubi who already owned powerful weapons can apply to enchant them with special effects in the custom area. These effects are fairly strong, but don't get ahead of yourself. These weapons will be named after the demon who you killed to become a demon, as they are from the remainder of their parts.

3. When you've become a demon, you will not lose your ability to seduce people. In fact, your type of demon is even more alluring than an Incubi. Your pheromones are intense, bringing people towards you. You will be more attractive and exotic than ever before, making you the awe of many eyes. However, this doesn't actually increase the rank of seduction or anything of the like.

4. You unlock the final abilities of the demon. These are the powers that Incubi can never obtain unless they surpass their sin.

xxxxxHISTORY
There is no history for insanity. Insanity comes with the package, really. Being a human means you have at least a little. Embracing it means you'll start to have a bit. Some people enter the verge where it's not just enough that you're held in white straps in an asylum, and nothing can hold back the gift you want to give to the world.

The history of this specific clan, however, is very interesting. And simple. Back a few hundred years ago, there was a guy who pretended to be some kind of chosen leader. Well, it wasn't him that pretended such; his family was the head of a little village they had going, which was famous for its rows and rows of orchid, fresh water and fish market. Since the people were happy and full of belly, they didn't really question their leaders. They were simple folk; totally willing to believe what was handed to them by their betters. The parents of this leader claimed that the stars aligned and told them a message: that this man would lead the village to cover the whole wide world, the orchids and the lake flowing downwards and creating islands and oceans, all for the splendor of the villagers. Honestly, for some time, it almost seemed like this guy really was going to be a great leader. At twenty, he had already made his mark as the most rational and intelligent man in the village, by far.

At twenty-two, when his mother passed away, he took over most of her burdens and started to become the most prominent figure in the village, much to the disarray of his father. This father eventually... disappeared, when he was around twenty-five. At this point, he was the total leader of the village in all aspects. It had grown substantially from when he was young; it was expanding with more people and more territory. It had stretched into the forest and the beach, engulfing as much land as a modern great village does today. Hundreds were at his disposal, and they all believed in him. They trusted him. And then something went horribly wrong in his mind.

Or, well, something was horribly wrong in his mind long before. This man was a psychopath. He was extremely intellectual and calculating, only a provision to aid his maniacal mind. He bewitched the village into an autocracy that was never even questioned. The people didn't notice that their freedoms were slowly disappearing. He started to perform lockdowns, saying that the fabled demons and the warring shinobi were constantly trying to steal their splendor. People were never let out, for their own safety. He started to build public court to punish those who defied him. And everyone was so compliant. Court became almost a hall of sacrificial monsters; everything was so one-sided. The Jury was on the side of the Judge, the Judge was on the side of the leader. Those who defied him were punished, and then torn apart and eaten like a beef steak. They had to commonly punish people for these crimes, because their food wasn't enough to sustain all of these people, considering they'd been locked down and had been unable to enter their forests and farmlands. The people decreased in numbers fast, but the lesser they got, the more loyal, and the more insane.

Fifty years later, a band of mercenaries entered the village, which was now covered with the scent of blood and death. And the first thing they saw of note was a mother feeding her son to her dog, a flagpole being shoved down a girl's throat, and a ridiculous chanting going on and on all over the village, although you couldn't see the assailants; a symphony of madness ringing into your ears from worlds unknown.

xxxxxDESCRIPTION

The group of people this clan comprises of... they're not like regular ninja. Things around them just seem to happen, out of anyone's control. They're a moving hurricane in human form; everything goes to s**t around their backs, and falls down beneath their knees. They do have some interesting combative abilities of their own, though -- they love modern technology, and are specialized in using weaponry that other ninja have no idea how to use. A lot of this weaponry is custom made, using strange materials like bone and flint.

xxxxxRULES
• The Unable must be insane. You just can't be normal with this clan; your power is drawn from your insanity. The weaker of a ninja you are, the less insane you are. The more you develop in this clan, the more insane you get. At Insanity Level: 666, you're a freakshow.
Eth acpsosde si Bmgareo Unscramble this and send it to the Food Chain before you apply for the clan
• Your Insanity Level can only increase at certain ranks; Insanity Level: 13 is Genin-able, Insanity Level: 99 is Chuunin-able, Insanity Level: 312 is Jounin-able, and Insanity Level: 666 is Sannin/Kage-able.

xxxxxWEAKNESSES
• Unfortunately, you're terrible at diplomacy, people skills, and pretty much everything regarding person-to-person. Even though most of the Unable are psychopaths, and thus capable of integrating into society, they can't keep their ruse up for long.
• They have a 30 point reduction to chakra; their strength lies in their insanity. The reduction increases to 40 at Chunin, and 50 at S-rank.
• This clan starts off very weak, almost useless. It progressively grows into a powerful force, but until at least Jounin Rank, and not really until S rank, will this clan be of all too much use.

xxxxxSTRENGTHS
• Despite being insane, they're extremely calculating and can process the situation much faster than other people. They can think of a response almost instantaneously, which means their reaction time is far above the norm. This is because their insanity gives them feedback; it's kind of like they have multiple minds whispering to each other.
• Extremely acrobatic and deadly; their bodies are very flexible, agile, and they're quick at the draw. They can whip out a shiv and have it at your neck faster than other shinobi can hope to, and similarly, they can defend themselves with spontaneously imagined weaponry whenever they have to.
• Their insanity level produces weapons literally out of thin air for them. One moment, they could be bare-fisted, and the next, they could have a frying pan. It literally just appears from one moment to the next. However, they must appear in their hands, so you can't, for example, create a shield in front of your neck that's about to be decapitated. The more their insanity level, the stronger these weapons can get; at the highest insanity level, they can create modern weaponry out of thin air. Their insanity also has the powerful effect of inflicting terror on their foes.

xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
• Flexibility/reaction/agility increased substantially
• Highly skilled with weapons

xxxxxTECHNIQUES

Let's explain the insanity levels before we get into techniques. The insanity levels are based on how your malicious energy generated by how crazy you are effects the surrounding environment. Simply put, the more insane you are, the more you can influence the paranormal. Everything surrounding you will be influenced by this spike of paranormal energy, and things that people believed weren't possible become possible. The strongest level of insanity comes from the epicenter; you. A Kage-ranked Unable, at three feet away from you, would push you into almost a shock of horrific images. It'd be like living out a horror movie every second. Things would seem to be happening that you thought weren't possible. You can toggle this effect on and off.

But this isn't an illusion. These things are real. If you believe you saw a ghost reach out from a wall to try and grab you in, don't react by trying to "Kai" out of it. That undead soul is really there, trying to kill you. The blood on the walls... it's real. The screaming from the other room? There's probably really a dying victim beyond that corridor. Everything you can fear, you will fear. The Unable are everything you could imagine from a psychotic asylum of the dead, on your doorstep. Although, until higher ranks, the influence is fairly weak. You must mark a target in order for the effects to actually be real; that one target is the only one experiencing them in full throttle. For others, it is just genjutsu. Marking a target is as simple as focusing them. You can only change marks once per week.

1-100 Insanity; Little influence. You might hear voices or something, maybe you'll feel like something is after you, or you're being watched. The area will actually look darker and more devoid of life, and it'll feel almost a little harder to breathe, like something is lightly grasping your neck. But that's about it.

101-250 Insanity; Influence is rising. You start to feel very paranoid. Everything you see almost comes off as a shock. Someone could walk up to you, and you'd just feel a jump from the closing in. Notes will start to appear in random places that imply wretched things, like the existence of a paranormal force hidden between what you think is earth and the underworld. You'll become aware that something is not right. Closer to the epicenter of the insanity, you'll start to see things. Pictures will appear to move from the last time you saw them; the person in the mirror will move differently than you do. You'll begin to hear chanting, brief banging on the walls... all sorts of horrors.

251-500 Insanity; You've come to a point of terror. These things that you feel you saw before begin to manifest. It won't just be a paranoia, it'll become a reality that's really trying to destroy you. If enclosed in one space, you can expect to face all sorts of horrors. Unreal things like ghosts will appear to you, even if briefly. Objects will start to throw themselves at you, and the screams will start. They're not very loud yet, but you hear them. Agony. Everywhere is full of agony.

501-666 Insanity; Anyone who has to face this unhinged terror has met a terrible fate. There's blood all over the walls, and notes of final accounts covering the increments. The area seems to be locked in a strange color, almost hindering your eyesight. Random acts will now start to actually threaten your life. Staying away from walls is a good decision, because often will ghost-like monsters try to strange you from inside of them. Paintings will begin to scream your name, you'll start to feel nauseous and hyper-paranoid. Everything will come as a shock to you. Unlike before, where someone walking up to you would startle you, now it's more like... they'll almost instantly appear in front of you, screaming in your face. If you like shock films, then you're in ecstasy. Loud noises will replace the ominous humming and chanting every now and then; screams of agony, crowds of people blabbering about... whatever world you're in, it's hardly the same one as with reality.

The insanity effect goes throughout the whole thread, although at the very edge of the thread, it's significantly weaker, and near the epicenter of the Unable, it's even stronger than in the description. Using techniques can reduce the insanity level. You can instantly have any of these techniques disappear; just as you can create weapons at leisure, you can dispose of them

In order to gain insanity points, you must do as follows, only after battle:
Enter the area where you unlock this clan
Hopscotch over the bones of kittens
Write a poem about the splendors of forced abortion
Paint a picture entirely from your own vomit
Roll between 1-300
That's how much insanity you'll gain, and you can't do this ritual again until after you've fought another serious battle (you don't have to have mod permission on what is a serious battle, but they can intervene if they think that it wasn't serious/was bullshit). Sparring is not serious, training matches aren't serious, tournament/exam matches aren't serious. Only matches against RPCs or arc NPCs who legitimately want to kill you are considered "serious matches". They must be of at least a rank below you, otherwise it doesn't count as serious. You can't go beyond the cap of your rank (13, 99, 312, 666). If you ever hit 0 points or near 0 points at a rank higher than Chuunin, and your ritual gave you terrible results, you can cut off one finger and regain 100 points.

You cannot use techniques of a certain level when you have less insanity than that level requires

Insanity Level: Thirteen
Don't you feel the world would be better if we all knew how to cook? No Cost
This is a pretty spontaneous technique; it's the ability to create frying pans out of thin air, at will. They're steel-hard, and pack a punch. They're usually only created for a hit or two, disappearing shortly after, but some Unable have used them as primary weapons.
This technique is actually very diverse; if you don't think about what weapon you want, it will automatically be a frying pan, but you can also pull out maces, knives, swords, shuriken, whips and crossbows. This is possibly the most useful of their techniques.

2, 4, 6, 8; on the English language we menstruate No Cost
Strangely, the Unable are capable of using cellphones. Their phones have a keychain attached to them, with five petals to a flower. Each petal can be thrown as a windmill shuriken, although they're not replenish-able during combat. These phones can be given to other people too, and you can legitimately call them, although other features of the phone don't exist. You can make cellphones for whoever you want, wherever they are. Even opponents, who don't want them. However, you can't detonate these cellphones or do anything strange with them; just calling. Cellphones made for other people also don't have the keychain. You can only call people in the same sub-forum. You can automatically assume you have their... number.

The perfect gift 5 Insanity Points
This technique can either work as a combo, or as an individual move. For five points each, you can chain these two moves; the first ability is spontaneously pulling a sunflower from thin air. Shortly after, it sprays a shower of acid at whatever is directly in front of it, usually the target's face. The acid acts like oil to the perfume; a bottle of perfume which is actually a flamethrower. Similarly, the fire can be intensified by spraying acid on the area after it's already lit. The acid is corrosive, but it'd only really apply second degree burns. The fire and acid in unison can infer third degree burns.

Insanity Level: Ninety-Nine
You couldn't keep it in your pants, could you? 10 Insanity Points
Spontaneously, you pull out a cannon in front of you, and shoot an explosive and extremely heavy ball from it with three times the force of an explosive tag.

Mystery Mallet! 10 Insanity Points
This is a small gun-like hammer the size of a water bottle. The woody frame opens up to reveal its hidden contents at will, and who knows what could be inside?
Roll 1-12
1-3; A laser cannon with 3 shots
4-6; A set of missiles launching from your back and flying for the target
7-8; A crossbow with explosive bolts; 2 shots
9-11; Absolutely nothing but confetti
12; All of the above! (except for the absolutely nothing part)

Time for your shots! 10 Insanity Points
With a conveniently pulled syringe, as long as you can inject it into their body (whether through a vein or otherwise), the effects trigger. This ability makes the enemy almost twice as susceptible to the effects of your insanity field, and so someone with a lot of insanity energy already would give them the fright of their life. It also makes them feel nauseous, and dizzy for a little while after they're injected (2 posts).

Insanity Level: Three-One-Two
Happy Birthday! 15 Insanity Points
A cake, with candles! Five candles, and each is an imminently exploding tag about to wreak havoc in the surrounding area. The cake explodes on impact, or at the user's will. If this technique is actually used on the opposing shinobi's birthday (if it's 3/5 and it's 3/5 IRL, for example), it has three times the regular magnitude.

Everybody Freeze! 15 Insanity Points
The Unable pulls out a strangely shaped object (resembles a pistol) that releases a cryogenic stasis ray. In other words, it freezes cold whatever is five feet in front of it, and very quickly. It's recommended you just... evade it, because once you're frozen, it's likely that you don't have much (or any) options.

I just love smoothies 15 Insanity Points
A blender capable of fitting a human head is, as always, pulled from nowhere. The blender is extremely resistant, so it could be used as a defense against physical attacks; catching fists, et cetera. You can activate it at will, which will very quickly (and painfully) grind up whatever is in there to chunky bits, and eventually to a creamy extract. It's much stronger than your average blender, and even bone is not going to make a difference when it's started to blend. Drinking human parts that have been blended into this machine will give you an invigorating feeling; an extra level of focus and ecstasy.

Insanity Level: Six-Six-Six
The fourth wall 50 Insanity Points
The Unable pulls out what they find is the most... modern of all of their weapons. The most capable. All it is, is a modern day pistol. Considering they don't exist in that reality, it takes all of their massive and expansive concentrated insanity energy rising to the highest point to be able to generate such a physical object. The gun only fires up to two shots, but they move near the speed of real bullets.

Get Hammered No Cost
As a replacement to the Frying Pan at this level, an indestructible wooden hammer appears spontaneously out of a unicorn fart. It's extremely brutal, smashing down on foes with strong kinetic force. Although it may appear wooden, its properties are not wooden, and thus it's not to be taken lightly.

Would you like to play a game? 100 Insanity Points
Using this ability, the Unable can completely prevent escape from an enclosed building (cannot be much larger than a hospital). This is as simple as saying that whatever is inside cannot leave no matter what, until the effect has resolved (after ten posts). Even if they blow it all up, it'll just instantly recreate itself. Whatever is inside of the structure can be destroyed or used, but nothing involving the foundation of the structure. The Unable must be inside of the structure as well in order for them to use this technique, and they can't escape either. Your insanity is more powerful in here, since it's more focused. However, considering the amount of insanity spent to use this ability, you're still losing power in that regard.

xxxxxADDITIONAL COMMENTS
A-okay, Mr. J!

xxxxxRESTRICTIONS
• Curse marks don't amplify this; clan curse-mark is totally useless
• No demon/angel; the insanity level inside of your body would legitimately kill them.

xxxxxxxx( The Great Inquisition: Part 2 - "Saw the Conqueror" )

I saw the conqueror in the great fields of Khulor, our God of the Harvest. Oh, I wailed, watching my young sons burn. Nightdancers, they were, always expecting to do battle with Suna rather than the cold and calculating beasts of flame. Oh, my, I never knew this would happen.

Three days ago, the largest city in our lands was torn apart in but one night. Hundreds of thousands lay dead and they yearn, oh my God they wail. I can feel them. I hear them. I am not a Nightdancer but a Ritualist, and I can feel their pain. The brutality that exists in this world is beyond what a human should ever have to know, and yet I know of it all; these dead children, these raped teenage boys and girls, their dead parents.

I hear names, their strange foreign sounds. Miri, Kozuke, Shinsei. The three commanders. Shinsei's at the highest level - he is their King, their Emperor. He is the conqueror that I watched eat from our crops and laugh as he cut down our men without moving his arms. Their heads exploded, their bodies contorted. Beside him, there was a man, one I had seen in the depths of the grave . . . the Contract.

They consult with demons, they rile up the Undead and make them mortal flesh. This evil cannot go unpunished. I must warn the other Kingdoms . . . because even though I know they shall kill me as they have dreamed of my demise for all this time, and that they'll conquer our lands and suppress our people - this wave of genocidal beasts will only stand to do so much worse, to eradicate our very existence and what it means to be men and women of Hal Zhulin.

                            - - -

"Thakur, in Bhoma Pran you served our armies majestically. Every eye was upon yours and every woman's heart would beat anxiously in her chest, hoping for you to request her body to bed. In the common era that we live in now, that is a great honor." The man paced back and forth, wearing his silken robes - red, they complimented his wavy brown hair and his golden-emerald eyes. He was the King of these lands, though his regnant was a Queen who found herself above reproach. It was a strange dynamic that only ever came through matrilineal marriage, where the man would lead the armies and the woman the social affairs.

This man, Primarch Bahradesh, ruled of course from a position of eminence that was not questioned. In his respective field, he was the best, and with word of the lands to the East succumbing to a quote-unquote "invasion from Hell" according to some old waif, his authority was to be respected. The armies began to mobilize, they began to research their enemy - they would learn to understand this enemy. Although, they were well aware enough that these people came from the shinobi world, and were far superior in technology and military capability. Still, this was their front door. With the commotion, was there not the possibility of an upper-hand?

                            - - -

"I don't mind the people staring. It's not like they're really getting a good view regardless." His eyes were on the sky above, one that almost seemed filtered by all of the smoke and the gasps of breath filling the air. This was a battlefield just a while ago, although it was a bit one-sided. He was laughing, eager, sitting on the grass with far too much substance in his system. Oh man, he'd never figured that doing battle while as high as a migrating pigeon would feel so . . . exhilarating. It was unlike anything before.

"What do you mean by that, Shinsei? Who doesn't see you? How can they not? Their eyes transcribe your being." The voice crawled in his mind, the man grinning and shaking his head. "They hear you," he responded. "They see you. Shinsei's just you, right? When you address me as that, I almost feel like you're speaking to yourself. Filtering me out. Are you so afraid of what I might say?"

"I don't fear. I calculate. Fear is for those that can be slain. Fear is what I witness when you rend lives. Even if you were to die, I would simply lose out on a temporal investment. Shortly after, I'd -" He was quickly cut off, Shinsei shaking his head again. "What if every Heiland died? You know, with the way you like to play things, you could very well start a Heiland witch hunt. So many of us become serial killers, sociopaths and destructive maniacs. Like me. And once people realize that, they'll start to target us - and eventually we'll all die. You're too conspicuous, enemy. You risk everything. You should remember that there aren't that many of us." He'd been thinking about that for a while - about what this entity would do if his tether to the world disappeared. Evander cursed his blood for the power to defend the North, to make a Yuki that was unbound from the foreign enemies.

But that was just it; without that tether, the Enemy would cease to exist. It was true that the other bloodlines had entities similar to him, but they weren't the same. He had said that himself. "It won't be difficult to avoid that. Even if it means taking my three fragments and getting them to make more Heilands by other, more typical means . . . you realize that's why a Heiland will always make a Heiland, right? It's my insurance. If the going really gets tough, my three Psycho Demons will run and begin a new life. A peaceful one. They'll make more of your clan, and I'll have another supply. Better yet, everyone will think the Heilands have been wiped out, and they'll let their guard down. They'll become complacent." He was eager to speak, although Kleine was actually certain this may have been the only time he'd ever outwit the Enemy.

Because that plan didn't work anyway.

"Heilands always look distinctive. There's no one in the world that looks the way we do - with our shade of hair, our bright eyes, and our soft features. Even the other Northerners don't look like us. They'd notice the difference - there will be people out there that hold grudges, that hunt us down, unconvinced. All because of your insatiable bloodlust, Enemy. You act like such a genius, yet you're tamed by the most mindless of activities an entity could possibly enjoy. What's up with that?" Worst of all, it had to be such a gruesome manner of entertainment. If Kleine had any less pride, he'd beg God nightly to just make the Enemy really into sex or something, instead of murder. Even though Kleine would probably live life as a promiscuous vagabond, at least it'd be better than living this macabre horror fantasy that the Enemy put him through endlessly.

The entity simply sighed, a wisp of wind blowing against Kleine's shoulder. Though he didn't find the point, as it didn't exactly simulate the idea of it sounding like a face-to-face conversation. This thing didn't even have a face. "We all have our weaknesses, but they can become our strengths. If I didn't have such a bloodlust, I wouldn't be here experiencing the intrigue of your world. If you weren't so ambitious, you'd not get to praise yourself endlessly about all of your accomplishments. The world is odd indeed and the creatures within it are diverse. I do not claim to be a perfect entity. I only claim to be . . . Devil's Advocate, aggressive, apprehensive, cold and cold. All human traits. I'm closer to human than you think." The entity then ceased his speaking as he always did, and left the man to his strange sense of joyous melancholy. The shinobi climbed out of the grass, stood up and sighed. He supposed he had an army to lead, and it had been nearly a week since the invasion began. Cleaning up millions of unfortunate human beings was quite the task, and he wasn't quite finished. There were still settlements without and within.

    Can I stay here forever?

    xxxxxHISTORY
Born only once every generation is a dreamer. This is a rare and advanced kekkei tota, like the Rinnegan. It's not decided by any divine instrument; only luck. However, unlike with the other powerful bloodlines of its caliber, it's not exactly respectable. Dreamers are freaks. They live in two different planes. They can constantly switch between their perceptions, going back and forth between the real world and the dream world. The name of this dream world is Akūpāra, which in its own language, means unbound. There is no end to this world. It's vast and free, full of beauty and life. There is strife, of course. But the dreamer is in its home environment, here. Dreamers love Akupara. They feel free to do what they want, and the inhabitants of the bustling and beautiful world all come to love the dreamer. It's a utopia. A fantasy.

The dreamer is connected to this zone inside of their head. When they sleep, they enter it. When they're awake, they can enter it. And in this zone, they have guardians. Three spirits: Yukari, Juno, and Xin-Shu. These guardians teach them everything they know. They guide them in the world. And they are the dreamer's greatest friends. In the real world, they manifest as a purple ball of energy, a blue ball of energy, and a red ball of energy, circling around the dreamer, or existing as a necklace of beads. The spirits, in the real world, don't appear as anything more than balls of chakra. Not even the most perceptive people alive can distinguish their true nature. Not Rinnegan users, or Sharingan, or even those above that station.

The Dreamers, in their mind, are on a journey. The journey is always the same as the last dreamer; you're on a quest to slay the evil Jade Queen, who lives across the solid sea. Every day, she turns more of the world to Jade, and one day, it'll consume everything. When the dreamer has finished their journey (once they reach Sannin rank), and has defeated the Jade Queen, they will change forever.

However, there is a second path. The second dreamer may instead work underneath the Queen of Jade, starting as her Knight, then her Cleric, Consular, and then usurping her position. The second dreamer will eventually become the enemy of the first, and they will engage in a war that some can say will never end.

    xxxxxDESCRIPTION

Dreamers use their three orbs of energy to fight. The orbs are called He, Ra and Shou (XYZ for simplicity's sake). By combining their power, dreamers may use extremely powerful elemental attacks like none other. Once they defeat the Jade Queen, they become the Hero of Akupara, and their second stage unlocks.

    xxxxxRULES
    • No clan or second bloodline; this is a kekkei tota, an extremely powerful bloodline
    • You can only be in a class with high chakra control; samurai, medic, genjutsu, ninjutsu, weapon, puppet. If you can only have two elements, you can still use the He-Ra-Shou, but not the actual third element.
    • There can only ever be two dreamers at a time. They are each others arch-nemesis.
    • Dreamers are extremely intelligent. They can live inside of both worlds at the same time and process and respond to everything. However, this strains their mind, so they're usually dozing out in one world or the other, almost like they're braindead or living in another world (which they are).

    xxxxxWEAKNESSES
    • While you gain bonuses from utilizing multiple orbs of the same element, you are locked from other elements while doing so.
    • The Dreamers of Akupara, as elemental users, have weaknesses based on the element they're using
    • See "restrictions"

    xxxxxSTRENGTHS
    • The Dreamers of Akupara can launch techniques from their orbs rather than just their own bodies.
    • An additional chakra reserve of +50
    • Their second stage (the Hero of Akupara) is extremely powerful.

    xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
    • Since you can use three of the same orb at a time (for example, XXX, which is three fire), you can reach a heightened power for one of your elements. This allows you to use this element with no hand seals and for five chakra less, never becoming less than 1 chakra.

You can choose between XYZ or XXX (fire), YYY (water), ZZZ (wind). However, while using XXX, YYY, or ZZZ, you can ONLY use that one element, and no others. XYZ state is required to use multiple elements.
    • Bloodline abilities require simple hand motions (like waving your hand, or thrusting your palm) to pull off.

    xxxxxTECHNIQUES

            X: YUKARI'S VENGEANCE

    The Flame Rises B-Rank
This rising flame can be conjured from very far. The spirit of Yukari will scope out the surrounding area, and anywhere within 500 feet, this explosive pillar of flame will quickly rise from the floor. It's a simple attack, but it is well adept at assassination, distractions, and discovering your immediate surroundings.

    Vessel of the Sun C-Rank
Using this ability, the dreamer can become increasingly mobile. From anywhere on their body, a jet of flames will propel them in the opposite direction of its creation. It can be used to levitate, make extremely high and quick jumps or maneuvers, or simply be used as a counter-attack. Its purposes are up to the user.

    Fire and Blood S-Rank
A massive ball of flame, resembling the sun, will fall from the sky. Its initial impact will quake the surrounding area, and burn what falls beneath it. However, the most dangerous aspect of the technique is the ball's route afterwards. It will roll for an entire kilometer in a straight direction, which is obviously enough to scar the landscape. Similarly, even if you manage to dodge the initial impact, the rolling ball of terror could chase you down and burn you. It is about 2/3rd's the size of the sanbi.

            Y: JUNO'S RADIANCE

    Listen Passive
Juno is all about infiltrating the enemy's mind, and body. As such, she has developed a special technique. Using water moisture in the air, she can get into the opponent's head... quite literally. While she can't physically harm them, she can speak to them. She can annoy them or disorient them by screaming into their mind's, or she can try to manipulate them, "helping" them fall into your strategy. Whatever she does, her voice is sure to lead the enemy astray.

    Learn B-Rank per use
The blue orb of energy that represents Juno can be used more practically than others. It can expand into a wall of water, that can blanket you or shield you in whatever manner necessary. This is a very quick and convenient technique, serving similarly as the Shukaku's sand defense. It will protect you from most forms of harm if necessary, and serves as Juno's most helpful ability.

    Obey S-Rank
This is an advanced version of the Water Body Control. By lacing your hands with a thick mist for five posts, you can connect your flow of energy to the enemies. Simply put, while this technique is active, you can manipulate the energy inside of their body to pull off small changes of movement. If you throw your arm back, you'll tug at theirs, as if you physically pulled at it. You can only manipulate their arms, nothing else. You cannot damage their body at all simply by using this; it only manipulates the movement. You can force them to drop their weapons, etc, with some struggle. It's basically water body control, but only a limited control of their arms. The reason it's "advanced", is because there are no requirements beforehand. You don't have to get your chakra onto them. You can just... do it. This technique is a great hindrance to the physical classes.

            Z: XIN-SHU'S DISCIPLINE

葉片的平衡 ( The Balance of Blades ) D-Rank per swing
By committing energy into a long blade of wind, you will constantly let off something known as the "full moon slash". With every slash of your sword, a circular wind energy (it simply looks like a solid blue steel) will strike in 360 degrees. The radius is about six feet all around you, but even despite its unspectacular size, it's very fearsome in close-combat. It should be noted that the circle will form in whatever direction you slash. If you slash upwards, it'll break the ground beneath you. If you slash forwards, it'll follow that stream behind you. It can be a horizontal or diagonal line.

斷裂的骨頭 ( The Breaking of Bones ) B-Rank
As visible as air, and as silent as the breeze, this ability can find its way into the enemy's heart without much warning. In either hand, you carry an invisible sword. To non-sensory type ninja, this is an extremely deadly weapon. An enemy can find themselves impaled through the heart, if they leave themselves open while daring close range. The blade is fierce, and sharp, and the dreamer has developed an elegant style of fighting that makes the swing of it quite difficult to notice. Only one blade can be created by you at a time.

    一個呼吸新鮮空氣 ( A Breath of Fresh Air ) A-Rank
When under immense physical pain, the dreamer can unleash a terrible might. By exhaling all of their rage and agony, they unleash a terrible force of wind. Depending on how injured they are, it will increase in size and ferocity. A dreamer who is near death can release a wind so powerful that it can level a small forest. Even while in full health, this technique is still powerful, and can be used to unleash a strong force upon the enemy. However, it is insignificant compared to other wind techniques of its rank, unless used while hurt.

            XYZ: THE TRIUMVIRATE

    Akupara is Real SS-Rank
To properly emphasize the... reality of Akupara, the dreamer will harness the energy of the dream realm and bring that energy into the real world. A massive burst of white energy will spew from their body and release outwards, annihilating everything around them in a radius of 100 feet. Of course, it's not instant, so there's time to evade it. This technique uses the power of X, Y, and Z, so it's a very strange type of burn. It feels wet at first, and then the wind and fire come together to sear you to dust. The coloring is a mixture of white and light purple, and it's honestly quite pretty to observe from outside of the range. The light is nearly blinding, and will act as a flash bang to those who look at it, at first. The energy doesn't have to be a 360 burst; it can also be directed as a ray from your palm, that would act much like a bijuudama. Like bijuudama, it can reach SSS rank, making it superior to other techniques.

    Live or Die SS-Rank
When the dreamer is on the verge of death, and is sure to die, they can make a wager with their dreams. By directing the power of Yukari, Juno and Xin... they can make a bet. The RPer will roll a six-sided die. If it's 1-3, the dreamer's wounds will heal, and they will live. If it's 4-6, the XYZ will all die, and will almost definitely seal the fate of the dreamer. The XYZ will come back to life after a week if the dreamer somehow lives, but it's extremely unlikely that you'll survive that week, if you lose them.

    Welcome to My World S-Rank
This ability manifests one of your XYZ for a short period of time. They are all very powerful, and useful for different situations.

Yukari's Rage: Yukari will buff the dreamer. Their body will be enveloped in heat, and they'll go rife with anger. For five posts, they won't need to use any handseals, their physical ability will increase to the cap (+1 beyond that if they're already using a style), their body will be resistant to pain and recoil, and any contact with them will quickly melt whichever part of the enemy made contact.

Juno's Fertility: This is an ability based on Juno's infiltration of the enemy psyche. She can manipulate the foe's physical sense in a variety of ways. She can make people feel calm, relaxed, happy... easy and susceptible prey. She can physically arouse them; she can distinctively alter their perception of the dreamer. Juno is all about the senses and exploiting them. She can trim down the enemies walls and either leave them dead through lack of trust or on your side.

Xin-Shu's Comedy: This technique will make the dreamer extremely agile for five posts. They'll become more flexible; they'll be able to evade the trickiest attacks, and dart through obstacles easily. Their skill with a sword will parallel a samurai's, and their slashes will quite literally go through objects. That obviously means that you can't block them, you have to dodge them. Furthermore, their speaking and breathing will turn corrosive; they'll lightly burn away at enemies that make contact with air recently exhaled.

    xxxxxJADE MONARCH/HERO OF AKUPARA
When the dreamer reaches Sannin rank, they learn new powers. They learn to control themselves across three different locations, simultaneously. The Jade Monarch will be able to manifest in the Jade Lands, Holy Akupara, and the real world. The Hero of Akupara will be able to infiltrate the Jade Lands, while remaining in their core two realities. It's as simple as manifesting a spiritual hologram that intercepts information going on over the borderlands. What this grants them is an understanding of the enemies power; they learn to harness the abilities of their nemesis. The Jade Monarch will learn to direct the power of Yukari, Juno and Xin, and the Hero of Akupara will learn to control the power of Jade.

Furthermore, another power is unlocked. The dreamer can also learn to manifest their third reality in the real world. What this means is that they become ultimate spies. They can infiltrate the enemy lines and watch them from the shadows, prying on them. The being is like a ghost; you can only see it under special circumstances, and it's a quite horrific sight to see. It's almost impossible to be rid of it, too. The best way to avoid it is to hide your tracks.

            KNIGHT OF JADE

    The Looking Glass Rank Here
The looking glass starts off simply. The Jade Needle morphs into a very large handheld mirror. The mirror is see-through; sort of like glasses, you can see what's on the other side of it. With your fingernails, you can draw on the surface of the mirror, and what you draw will occur. If you draw a bubble of glass around the enemy, a bubble of glass will appear. Drawing is extremely quick and easy, amplified by the chakra. However, it should be noted that the target can only be effected by the drawing if they're within the sight of the looking glass. An enemy who has left the sight of the looking glass the moment the drawing is finished will not be effected. However, the art is not limited to the target; you can draw aid for yourself. For example, you can draw a large wall to defend you from an incoming attack. You can draw a pillar of jade to suspend you into the air. You can draw a large mass of jade striking forward to attack the enemy. You may only draw three things. Or, rather than that, you can blow all three charges for a very special attack.

If you can pinpoint the enemy in the center of the mirror, you can smash it with your fists and crack the mirror, temporarily. What happens is simple enough; their bones rupture. However, they must be directly in the front of the mirror. It's similar to sending a force of chakra to smash at their bones, except it's extremely (almost instantly) quick.

The mirror is two-sided, you can see what's past it as if it's clear.

I'll explain the weapons of the dreamer. Regardless of what path you start with (Hero or Jade), you'll eventually come to possess them all. "Them all", though, is basically just two weapons. The Knight of Jade will start off with the Jade Needle. This is a long katana, blue in color. It's almost unbreakable. As a special effect of the Jade Needle, the user's arms, while the sword is stationed anywhere on their body, are extremely quick and reactive. They can draw the blade much more quickly, they're quicker with seals and counters, and can also slash foes with a precise frenzy. Furthermore, the Jade has a method of transferring some of its malicious energy on targets that it collides with. The more times the Needle hits something, the stronger and more forceful the impact. After six hits on the same object, the object will turn into jade, and will crumble shortly after. This is a very powerful katana, a weapon of all Knights of Jade.

The XYZ weapon for the Hero is simply the three orbs of energy. They can attack, defend, and chain combos together. Remember that they levitate in the air, so you can essentially attack enemies from three points. They're very useful, although they don't have special methods of hampering the opponent like the Jade Needle. Once a dreamer hits Sannin, they'll have all of these weapons. Xin-Shu's air techniques make the Jade Needle even more effective.

Fancy feet and small-glasses guy were here, but he didn't need to pay them mind. The Jounin teacher couldn't really help him regardless, he was just here to supervise and ensure his method was correct; ensure that he wouldn't be sent to the hospital because of some screw-up. "Takahara, presenting. I'll be learning the honshi art. I figure it's a good thing I'm here anyway; genin have a habit of hurting themselves when they train. Baldy might need some magic finger powder like last time." He spoke almost as if he weren't a genin. The condescending mannerism was just his way of being playful, as bizarre as that sounded. His group of friends didn't thrive from kind words and appreciation, they were always trying to poke fun at each other. That didn't really matter here, though. It was a far different environment than his little group of friends. People were suspicious and tight-knit, and they all seemed like adjudicators, goody-goodies and sycophants.

A whole heap of boring people who just wanted to have their kumbayah and encircle each other forever. Takahara had no interest in such a stale way of life. In his mind, it stunted growth. Mikoto, Ping and Yuusuke spent their whole lives being community-driven and social, and they combined probably wouldn't be able to take Takahara down. Strength was built through many bricks, talent, ideology, dedication, willpower. Takahara wanted to own heaps of each brick, and shape himself into the perfect shinobi. He could make time for a social life and friends after he'd already become a facet to admire.

                                        xxHonshi Art

But, enough of justifying his outlook. He'd come here to train, not worry about being scrutinized. The honshi art was a very useful style for someone of his build, granting him physical capability and a variety of weapons, to put his medical class enhanced accuracy to use. The first technique was definitely not impressive though. He uh... threw something in an identical trajectory to a regular throwing motion, but with a different motion. Definitely wouldn't be useful with his fighting style, but it was essential, so he did it. Takahara held his kunai in some weird sub-methodical manner, then threw it at a target. It hit, and even hit the bull's eye. [Dart Learned]

The next three jutsu sort of felt pointless. They were just... throwing. You just threw a few shuriken, and that was it. Big whoop. Yeah, it was pretty apparent that this style blew wang until way later down the road. Whatever. Until he got out of the wang blowing and into the climax, he'd just have to soldier through and learn all of these useless skills. Takahara grabbed some kunai, placed 'em between his fingers, waved his hand outward and bam, two fired. [Pair Learned]

The next technique made him ultimately question the simple existence of pair, considering it was basically the same thing but better and there was really no drawback. But it was okay. Small steps, riiiight? Gosh, fourth wall breaking here, but I'm such a sarcastic d**k in my training posts. Lol. Anyway, sarcastic dickbaggery aside, he performed a similar motion as with pair, except this time... here's the kicker. There was ONE MORE kunai! It might've sounded impossibru, maybe dishonoring le famiri, but it was indeed possibru to do without bring dishonor. This was essential to avoid seppuku. [Three of a Kind Learned WITHOUT Seppuku]

Next technique. For every useless technique, a great man once said, there are ten useless people preaching its greatness. It didn't apply at all to this situation, however. He doubted anyone was too enthralled by the untapped power of Twin Aces, a technique most certainly incapable of killing anything more than cripples and small children. It was okay, though. It was all necessary in order to avoid the calamity that the mist people had worked so hard to keep at bay. Precedence, right? If Je once again descended from Ephon Noha to Tahai Aze, then seppuku would be done in masses. Anyway, he performed the exact same motion as with pair, except -- here's the kicker. He added chakra. emotion_awesome [Twin Aces Learned]

Calling Cord was actually useful. Finally! It seemed complicated, though. Moreso than the other techniques. Attach a cord to the weapons and then like, manipulate them. Pull them back or something. It would probably be helpful somewhere along the line, but in rare situations. He first worked to add the threads to each projectile, then make them individually stealthy. Then, after throwing the projectiles (shuriken in this case), he pulled them back as if making a second strike, this time from behind. Useful, but not drastically so. [Calling Cord Learned, Finished Stage 2]

                                        xxBlack Leg: Stage 2

It's time for some soulless, dull, thoughtless training. Rather than thinking this style through, Takahara would just do it, little inhibition or calculation. The Black Leg style was simple, literally and when spoken. All of the techniques, except for a few in the later stages, were movements; they didn't require chakra. It was bizarre, then, that it emphasized chakra control. Oh, whoops. Thinking too much again, right. The first technique was 'triple assault', a simple move for a shinobi. You backflip to the opponent, then using the momentum in your hands, push several kicks into the opponent's face. Takahara started with the backflips, which was probably the easy part; all shinobi could do something like that, save for maybe Akimichi. The hard part was using the momentum to not only kick once, but several times. It also seemed pretty risky, considering your vision of them would be impaired. He definitely wouldn't use this against a fast or otherwise unpredictable opponent. Either way, he managed to pull it off with successive attempts and overall zeal. [Triple Assault learned]

The next ability seemed similar to the triple assault, honestly. It was the same premise of uppercutting with your legs, from a lower point. Takahara performed the face scorcher on a training dummy, then, landing on his hands, sprung upward to smash the dummy in the face once more. His method was decent, but not perfect, and he lost his balance after the first kick. So, he got up to try and do it again. This time, he at least attempted to calculate where and how he should land, to ensure that he was successful. It seemed safer and smarter to land some distance away from the opponent's legs, or they could sweep you and get an advantage. Plus, the balance would be better that way. With this in mind, he performed the jump, smashed down on the dummies face, and successfully flipped backward to rebound. Good enough, apparently. [Flying Spring Shot learned]

      [Taberu]
      User Image

The Taberu have chosen to focus their powers into a single element. There are five branches to this family, one for each element. Each ninja who is produced from the Taberu excels at their single element, and has the ability to consume techniques that are shot at them within their own element. This has earned them the name of 'Eater' over the years. In reality, they are merely nulling the technique and consuming the chakra. They are not impervious to their own element, merely much stronger against it.

      [Abilities]
      • Taberu members can convert techniques of their element [not if they produce it] to raw chakra and consume it. If they 'eat' a B-rank technique, they get C-rank chakra refunded back to them. S-rank techniques cannot be consumed.

      • Their elements are naturally stronger than other people who do not have a bonus such as theirs. If they choose fire they can melt Hyouton ice and so forth for each element and their counterpart.

      • The Taberu receive a special, custom summon depending on their element that scales with their rank. This summon counts as a boss summon, but has no sage mode.
      Genin: C
      Chuunin: B
      Sp. Jou/Jounin: A
      Sannin/Kage: S

The summon synchronizes them, and they share special powers. This counts for your summoning contract. If you're of the summoning class, you can make a sage mode for it.

      [Rules]
      • The element chosen is the only element given, regardless of class.

      • The element chosen is 1/2 a rank higher.

      • Techniques 1 rank above the user will still harm them but will be reduced by 1/2 a rank if eaten in terms of damage. Techniques 2 ranks above them will hit them with the full damage.

      xxBack Then: Ten Years Ago

Will I be strong like great-grandfather? He asked himself, staring at the wooden coffin that they had begun to settle into the ground. The Senju was still a young child, a boy of nine, but just now he'd experienced the first death within his family. His great-grandfather, after almost a hundred years of digging and digging, had met the end of his excavation. Maybe, he theorized, all of his focus on being strong for others made him forget to be strong for himself. For so long, everyone watched him grow sickly and weak, wheezes frequenting more than words. Gags and heavy breath coming where words of endearment used to come for his children. It was a sad day to see that his struggle had ended, though a happy one to know that he was in a better place. Or at least everyone else seemed to think he'd went to a better place. The old witch said that when people died, they went to Mū, or nothingness. Even at this early age, he'd begun to notice that everyone was more aware of that reality than they assumed. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so afraid of the life after life.

"Come come, little Takahara," His grandmother pulled him away. She was always the type to revel in joy and festivity in her peers, so this dreadful funeral business was the opposite of her forte. Not to mention, things were very tense here. They'd taken the old man all the way back to Konoha, so that he could die where he was born. It was mutually agreed on; the main branch wouldn't be so unkind to their offspring. But the children seemed to be so spiteful to their mothers and fathers, as if they were to blame for their being stuck in mist, away from the ancestral homeland. The funny thing was, great-grandaddy was the reason the people split apart. Did that mean with him gone, they could come back together again? "Grandma," He pulled on her skirt. "This is really strange for a funeral, you know? Everyone's supposed to be sad, but they all look so..." Relieved. He didn't even know the word, because his whole life was spent circling around ninjutsu; power. Words that normal children of his age knew, didn't come so easy to him.

"They're just trying to hide their sadness, Hara-hara." She lied, but what could she really say? Her father wasn't a disease. The people joined his migration to mist because they believed in him. He was a great man. They just missed the rest of their people, the cousins and neighbors they never got to have. The elders, especially, had regretted leaving as young adults to join the old sage. It was a childish decision that made a permanent rift in the Senju clan. "But there is no reason to be sad. Care for him and love him like you always have. In truth, there's no difference between life and death. What changes is what you're aware of. He'll be enlightened to a million new things, and find his place in the universe. That doesn't sound so bad, right?" She smiled brightly, and took both of his hands. He looked down, and backpedaled a bit until his back met the stone bench. "I guess that doesn't sound so bad..." He admitted. It'd be nice if he could make peace with the universe. It seemed like a powerful and wise friend to have.

"Have you been liking Konohagakure so far?" She took a seat next to him, and palmed through his silky hair. He kicked his feet as he thought of an answer. He definitely liked it, just didn't know how to start vocalizing it! "Yeah! The statue faces are awesome! There are so many other Senju and they've taught me some neat tricks, too! Baku showed me how to pull stumps out of the earth, although somehow mine ended up a lot bigger than his. We even got to lie down on mine and his mom read us both a story. It was about the founding of the village, and the will of fire. The Senju are really respected here, aren't they? They're loved, unlike back in Kiri. They're like the village's family. I..." He stopped, and went quiet. The boy hadn't really decided on anything, but he'd learned and experienced so much here that he wanted to stay forever. "The Senju's relationship with Konoha is beautiful, Takahara. The hidden leaf has grown on the tree of our brethren, fallen to ground when it was ready to leave us. We helped to build this great nation, and in return, we are loved. It's love that makes the Senju so strong, so that is why we are our greatest here. My wish is that we can all return to our roots."

His grandmother, too, had regrets. She wished that she'd made the choice when she still had it to come live in Konoha forever. A Senju could never be made to belong away from their home. They all had that same longing. "You want to come live here, don't you?" She could read him only because she was in his shoes once. Takahara was much like herself when she was younger. And to her, that only made it seem like a second chance; a redemption. "I think so, but... dad and mom. And you. I know you're all really sad right now, so I don't want to disappear too." He frowned, but her gentle fingers washed away the sadness from his cheeks, and her smile brought light and reassurance into his spirit. "Don't be afraid to pursue your own path, Takahara. Your father and mother only want what's best for you. It is not in their place to demand anything more. You're your own person, and one day you'll be the finest man in the whole world. I believe that you can become a hero of peace and harmony if you are allowed to grow in Konohagakure." As if to give him a mission, she took her thumb and rubbed it against his forehead. It was her blessing to do the best that he could.

"Grandma," He called her quietly. "Yes?" The old woman asked. Takahara brought his hand into a fist, and brought it in front of his face. His teeth turned into a great grin, and he spoke to her his dream: "I'm going to become Hokage, and save the world. Then mom and dad and all of you can come back home where you belong. You've gotta keep them happy and healthy while I'm gone. Maybe get mom to have another baby so she can feel less lonely. Okay?" The old woman's whole spirit was lifted up, and she became more excited than she had in years. Takahara was the sweetest and most considerate person she knew, and it was going to be hard to let him go. But she loved him, and that love could fill the gap he'd leave behind. "Okay, Takahara! You've got a deal!"

      xxWith Love: Five Years Ago

He felt so jaded. Even as he came back to his origins, he saw nothing here of excitement. There were tombstones running up to their estate, all of the lost Senju who'd been forced to fill the gap of great-grandfather. The people here were weaker and lesser in number than the Senju in Konohagakure, and yet they were to be his family. On his journey back to this place, he thought alot on what he did in that far away city. With no one to give him direction, he spent most of his time just playing with the other children and getting himself into the sort of trouble that got him sent away. What was all of that really for? He'd left a great gap between he and his family, and they'd probably never consider him the same. "Takahara!" A bizarre voice called. He didn't know it, but apparently it knew him. It was a pale, tall guy, his age. The clan symbol screamed Uchiha, and it was. Oh, Yuusuke. "Long time no see! I heard you moved to Konoha! Are you going up to your clan estate?" He was surprisingly more bubbly than usual. Takahara was usually the one screaming and nagging, with Yuusuke being the one telling him to pipe down. Maybe this was just surprisingly more cheery than the sort of interaction he'd faced at Konohagakure.

"You heard right. But yeah, I'm going home. Mom and dad really want to see me. Gotta go make sure I don't keep them waiting, right? Bye-bye." Cold. His voice was dead and completely frosted. In that one instant between the last word and the moment his lips shut, Yuusuke immediately could feel it all. Takahara wasn't the same cheery kid. Now he was a jerk. The Uchiha moved aside, and let him go on his way. Maybe Mikoto and Ping could cheer him up more than a lousy old guy friend. They'd become quite the paramours anyway, so they could at least bring him excitement in other ways. Maybe.

The teenager continued up the hill, until he came across the "Senju Estate" sign. It was ironically on the opposite side of the Uchiha, as if they were supposed to be in a war of balance; maybe the victor would be decided depending on their quantity of mahogany. Not surprisingly, at the gate, there was no one of excitement. The shinobi guarding the entrance silently let him pass, signaling the start of his brutal reunion. He continued all the way up the compound and didn't manage to see his family until he'd come into his parents room. They were arguing, with a screaming toddler pulling on his mother's dress. He made sure that neither of them noticed he'd even slipped by, because he didn't want to ruin their precious familial bonding. Part of him regretted recommending that his mother had a new child. Whoever that child was, he knew it'd be way more special to them than him. They'd probably forget that he was even here or that he ever left. From the looks of it, they already did.

The one person he wanted to see right now was his grandmother. He heard that she was the new Elder of the clan, as her husband had passed away two years before. She wrote to him often, and never before had he received such a rotten feeling as he did when he saw the words on that informer; his grandmother trying to pretend she wasn't totally broken and in grief. She once again reminded him of the life after life, but the second time he didn't believe it so well. He was already old enough and smart enough to not trust in ideas that were bred from the desire of the heart. His grandmother had many desires still there before she'd eventually pass on too, and rightfully so. She'd lived such a hard fought life, constantly struggling between reality and the mistakes of the past.

When he came across her room, he couldn't help but open the door. It was there that he first saw her face again, weak and sickly like the face of great-grandfather. If she had already come to that point, then she'd probably join them all in Mū soon. That was a shame, because then he'd really be completely alone in the world. "Takahara..." Her voice was weak, and sad. He could see that, and because of that, all of the guilt and desperation from the last few years returned freshly to his mind. The Senju saw their mutual past too, images of his grandmother pushing his swing. Words from her lips, both of wisdom and sincerity. He remembered how much he needed her, and how much he loved her. With all of these images flashing in his head, he could still manage to see her clearly. Sick, sad, dying. His heart wept for the years they could've spent together, lost. He felt like this was the last time he'd ever get to see her. "Grandma..." His voice was broken, his eyes flowing with tears. "I missed you so much. I really, really, really missed you. I'm so sorry that I left for so long." He ran over to hug her, although he made sure to be cautious, as she felt so frail. It felt like there was nothing separating him from her bones, and that was painful and tormenting to him.

"I've missed you too, Hara-Hara. But you know, I've always been thinking about you, and monitoring you. Trying to protect you. I've still gotten to watch you grow, even if from afar." She smiled, and even with her weak bones, still wrapped him in a strong and dependable embrace. It was like when he was young. "For a grandmother, the greatest joy is watching the future generation thrive. I can already see that you've still got a heart full of love. Just remember how important that is. We are all born from love, and it is love that creates new life. The Senju know this the best, and it is our main source of power, just like I told you when you were little. I love you, Takahara. That's what kept me alive through all of this..." A tear slid down her face, "Decay. I knew that when you came back, I'd have to guide you for a little while longer before I could go." She was so right there, she didn't even know. He needed guidance now more than ever. The past five years, for him, had been spent in grief. It was a life that made him wish for the life after.

But like her, his desire to reconnect with his loved ones kept him going. It was a simple principal, although hard to recognize in this sort of world. You will only ever love a few people in your life. The ones you do love, you often forget to appreciate that bond as you go through hardships and discover situations to mitigate your gratefulness. "I'll keep going on and growing strong," he told her. "So you have to make sure to do that too, okay? For years and years. For another lifetime. We all need you and love you, especially me. I don't know what I'd do if you were to leave me too..." He was so anguished, and so was she. It was hard to fight death; you could only hope to stick out for as long as possible before the shinigami's cold blade pierced through.

"Okay, Takahara," She started, just like last time. "You've got a deal." For that one second, he felt like he could redo it all again. He could do it right, with just those words.

      xxShinigami: Two Years Ago

The water flowing down his body was mixed with salt and tears. His palm was pressed against the wall, and his face was looking down at the drain, sending his grief off to worlds away. He could barely breathe, the pain taking the air from his lungs. He remembered everything all over again, just like when he first saw her face. This time, though, his memories didn't come back because of a reunion, but a departure. He still couldn't believe it -- in that room, her dead body. He saw it, and everyone panicked, and he just couldn't think straight. He'd become a Chuunin just a week ago. All of the duty and excitement made him forget his self-imposed obligation; to keep his eye on his grandmother. He told himself that he'd know when her time would come, so that they could have one final talk. So that she could send him off with beautiful honeyed words and he could remember and live by them forever. But instead, just as he returned from a mission, all he saw was the cold, dead corpse of a warm, lively woman.

He was absolutely crushed. "Takahara! Please, open the door! You've been in here for like, four hours! I've gotta pee!" His mom. The last person he needed to talk to right now. He just ignored her. If he made her wait long enough, she'd just go bring her new baby to one of her friends houses and go flush her guts down their toilet. He couldn't give a damn about anything or anyone else in the world right now. Grandma... he repeated to himself. He must've chanted that title of hers a million times since she'd died. It wouldn't bring her back, but it brought back different aspects of her. If he could just reunite them all, she could live on in his memory. He could keep her alive through love, like the ancient Senju always did. It was this idea that brought about the Will of Fire, which brought honor to the ancestors. His grandmother needed so much honor with all that she'd done for their family. She'd get all of it, even if he was the only one who'd be trying to provide it. When you lost the only one thing you had, you had a choice to either move on or dedicate yourself to the cause of that one thing.

His grandmother told them all to return Senpou Mokuton. To save the family. And she told him to become the greatest man to ever live. He couldn't do that if he was just going to sit around and cry all day. Really. He'd been doing this for four hours.

He got out of the shower, wrinkled as a prune and content with wasting half of the nation's water supply on his sob fest. That probably wasn't even done with, but he could take a break for a while. He had to at least try and pretend to be strong like his great-grandfather. He recalled that being a wish from when he was very young, and although he knew he might never reach that level, he damn well had to try. He had such a short life for everything he'd been entrusted with. Four hour crying breaks could at least be done with some sit-ups and chakra training, right? "Taka," He heard a voice at the door. Yuusuke, his best friend. He'd at least wrapped a towel around his waist, so he opened up and revealed his face. Takahara wasn't as pretty as usual, but he wasn't in the business of beauty at the moment. "Hi." He didn't say anything else. The Uchiha put a hand on his shoulder, though it was a bit wet so his palm slid down and off into the air. "I heard what happened to your grandmother, Hara. Your little brother sent me here to talk to you. He's really worried about you." Little brother? Sometimes he forgot he had one.

"Don't worry, it's not bothering me as much as you guys think. I'll persevere." He lied. He always lied to try and seem stronger than he was. He moved Yuusuke aside to grab some clothes, then slipped them on with his back turned to the Uchiha. He was still fairly drenched, but at least he didn't look like he was about to engage in erotica. "You know, I don't believe that. I think that you won't persevere unless someone's there to give you courage. I'm not as dumb as you think I am, Takahara. I know your grandma meant everything to you. But she's gone now. You've gotta be str--" He stopped, and you'd be surprised as to why. He was grabbed by a giant root, and then thrown into the hamper. Takahara continued to walk down the exit hall from the bathroom, as if he didn't do anything. It was a petty reaction, but it wouldn't aggravate Yuusuke like he wanted it to. Instead, he'd stand up and keep trying. He was going to show him that he was a real friend.

"I love you like a brother, Takahara. You know that my dad died a few months ago, and since then you've been my only friend. Like you, I've been hurt, and am still hurting. But I knew that I could only get better if I trusted someone to take the load off for me. You've been a great friend, and I want to be a great friend too. We can survive in this mess if we work together." He offered his hand to him, and while he was reluctant to accept, the vision of him standing there and being rejected when all he wanted was to help... that hurt him too much. He turned back and accepted his hand, which led into a hug. Fast forward several hours, and somehow, they were on a journey back to Konohagakure.

      xxPresent Day. Present Time. Narrative.

Yuusuke and Takahara said their goodbyes to Ping and Mikoto, as well as to what remained of their family. Both of them wanted to reconnect with their roots; the ancestral homes of the Uchiha and Senju. Takahara was reluctant, as he'd already been rejected by his family across the sea. Yuusuke, on the other hand, had never experienced something like this before. He was extremely excited to discover his heritage, and along the way he drifted from Takahara. They stopped talking after a while, but not because of Taka; he always tried very hard to keep together. They came with the intention of being each others leverage, but with new and exciting things, the Senju lost his relevance in the young man's life. This revelation was a heartbreak and a disappointment, and yet he had taught himself not to be saddened over this loss.

A year after they arrived, he was informed that Yuusuke was killed on a mission, as he tried to sacrifice one of his friends to awaken the mangekyou. Apparently he succeeded in killing them, but the next level of his eyes did not unlock, and so he was defenseless against the other Uchiha who had become aware of this betrayal. Takahara believed that maybe, at least as a last gesture, his spirit told him that the Senju was his best friend, not that fake. Maybe Yuusuke knew that, but he could never bring himself to hurt the guy who'd made his life worth living. The whole affair of his death made the Senju extremely conflicted, and it was apparent that he was facing a mid-life crisis. He was lost on who he was or what he wanted, and who was still there for him. With few friends and little ground, he felt like he wanted to go back home. But he could still train and grow here. Plus, he could never reveal this tragedy to the family waiting for Yuu to come back, and to Mikoto and Ping.

The more he continued on, the harder it became to handle the weight of the last year. He'd lost his two dearest people, and once again, was completely lost. It was at this strange moment of contemplation that the Elder of the Senju came to Takahara's quarters, noticing his saddened complexion and his lost grasp on life. He reminded him of the beauties of life, and how even in the darkest moment, you could still see a glimmer of light. He vowed to show the young Senju a new hope for his life, and introduced him to many friends and close cousins that could help him come back together. It took months of time to heal, but he did learn to be a part of a family again. Under an oak tree, he buried his memories of Yuusuke; some old rags he'd left with him, a poem, and a golden locket he'd given him when they first got to Konoha. He finally let that part of his life go, and his calmed mind reflected a calmed body.

He shortly after became Jounin. It was at this moment where, in the midst of his spiritual enlightenment, his growth was truly tested.

      xxPresent Day. Present Time.

"And that's how, even as an outsider, I became a Jounin. Any questions?" The room was dim-lit, as the Senju here often had their homes. He was surrounded by young children, mostly boys, who admired him. "That's so cool, Takahara! You-you're so cool!" One of the more enthusiastic younger boys said that. He'd told them a lot of his mission stories, battle stories, whatnot. A lot of them were impressed and excited, envisioning their own great feats when they got to that point. "Yeah. I think it's probable that I'm just a little cool," The Senju smiled. He was very happy in the presence of these children. They were all just little Senju, one day to grow up and have a billion of their own experiences. For now, though, they needed to be protected; watched after. Some of these children had their fathers and mothers die in war and missions. While most of them had found homes and people to raise them, some were left stranded in this place. They were just like he was when he came here the first time; they had no guidance.

That was why he offered to take the ones with no place to go. Since he was a Jounin now, he already had a squad of genin he was teaching and going places with, but he felt like he could contribute more. These little guys... he didn't want them to go what he went through, being lost in the darkness. They must've already felt that way, without their father's firm words or their mother's embrace. Their sadness reflected the sadness of the whole shinobi world, a collection of broken hearts and martyrs. Takahara himself had been forced to kill for the needs of his village, and the number of people he'd put into the ground had increased as he became a Jounin. It just went to say that even when you wanted to be good in the world, humans were bound to be used for the schemes of others. He didn't want to kill people, but he did it anyway, because he loved his clan more than enough for him to forget that they have families, too.

"Try not to be too self-aggrandizing, Takahara," The elderly man started as he entered the large room. He was just trying to play around, although Taka didn't realize that and looked down in shame. "Tell them the story of our people. They haven't gotten to learn that one yet. Most parents don't want to tell their children of how things came to be, because there is always so much bloodshed to get from one place to another. But they've already came face-to-face with death, so now they're ready to learn of the real world, and how to thrive in it." He took a seat next to the young Jounin, and smiled at all the children. This man, too, loved his clan. It was for that reason that he was so hospitable to Takahara when he returned to Konoha. Any Senju, no matter their issues, would have a place to stay here. That was his mission.

"Okay, clan elder." The Senju rose his head, and crossed his arms over his chest. It was story time. "Before the villages," He started, and watched the children's eyes already turn ablaze with curiosity. That was one thing that made him love children; their enthusiasm. He laughed a little, then restarted. "Before the villages, there was an era of division. Hundreds of clans ravaged the world with war, constantly battling for dominance. They wanted to claim their territory, exalt themselves as better than everyone else, and take away the pride and dignity of their enemies. It continued like this for almost a millennial, until a very special clan rose to power amongst the rest. This clan was known as Senju, our clan. They united many lesser families and together, with the cooperation of many people, began a new era. They founded Konohagakure, signaling an era of peaceful cooperation between many clans. We as a human race began to realize that we're all just people, with our enemies also feeling pain, loss, and love. Only when we understand and empathize for each other can we find peace. Otherwise, we will drift in a state of hatred and war." After that, the elder patted his shoulder, and continued with his own story.

He relaxed his arms on his lap, and looked up at the lamp hanging from the roof. There were little bugs buzzing in and annoying him, while the children were totally distracted because of them, lifting their hands up to try and see if they could catch the little flying beasts. "Ahem," He sounded. Most of the boys fell back into line, though there was always the obligatory kid who was too curious for court etiquette. "While things have changed greatly since the founding of the villages, they are still in essence, the same. We still war and hate, except the wars are larger, between far more massive parties. Hundreds of thousands of shinobi exist in this world. When a ninja war comes, hundreds of thousands are expected to die. And yet, because of the weakness in the hearts of humans, we have no choice but to let it be. All we can do as Senju is grow in strength, so that we can protect our own village. Konoha, by extension, is our family too. We owe them our strength, just as they owe us theirs. While we may not have much in this world to make us feel like we belong, bonds like that can give us something to thrive for." He went on to explain the Senju values, though by the time he was done, a lot of the children had fallen asleep.

It was late, so he understood. He gave them his blessing for a good night, then spoke privately to Takahara in the garden. "Some of those children will look to you more than anyone else. You will be their father and every time they'll need guidance, it'll have to be you. It's a great burden to be a parent, but I know that you'll never flinch from your duty. There's also one more duty I want to entrust you with, Takahara..." This would be something much more alarming to hear. He didn't even know if he could properly say it, for risk of seeming out of the realm of possibility. Takahara was an outsider, and he wasn't famous or really that spectacular. But he knew... the elder knew somewhere that this boy... was to be Hokage. "Be the father of the village, too, with the Senju as your mistress. The Hokage's life is soon over. They've been stricken ill with a deadly poison. I've tried for many years to guide that young soul, but it looks like my guidance didn't matter at all. They lost the battle against hatred, and someone will need to take on the mantle." He looked at him earnestly, hoping that he would do this.

The young Senju was confused. He knew what he was implying, just not how it could ever live as anything more than a fantasy. The people here needed a hero from Konoha, not from Kiri. Sure, he was born here, and had spent half of his life here, and he wanted to feel like one of them. But it just... it didn't work that way. He couldn't pretend that he didn't develop in Kiri, with his family in Kiri and friends in Kiri. The people here must've hated the mist village, and he was too much a part of that place to belong. "I've seen so much in you these last two years. You've shown yourself to be the wisest, most talented Senju we've ever known. You truly mirror the old legendary heroes of our clan, and not only that, but you possess the will of fire. You know better than anyone that love and honor is what has made the Senju belong. So--" He was cut off, Takahara trying to say what he could. His eyes were looking down, his fists balled. He wished so dearly that this could be more than a fantasy, but it didn't seem like it would be possible.

"It's because of my grandma that I know all this. She left me as her legacy, so I could at least stand to remember her lessons." When he brought his hand over his chest, it was like there were two hearts beating. He couldn't even stand to be his own person, always feeling like he had to make good on his promise to her. He wanted to re-discover Senpou Mokuton, and return the other half of his clan to the place it belonged. But it was all so much to bear. "See? That's the will of fire inside of you. I know that you can feel a second heartbeat, Takahara. It's not your grandmother, but all of the Senju and Hokage who have left their wills behind. We, the living, are their legacy. And these young boys are your legacy, and the village is our combined legacy. We all want our children and grandchildren to be happy. That's a part of what brings us into harmony." He felt sort of silly for having to be taught this all over again, but there was still some doubt inside of him.

"Rest on what I've told you. We will soon have to consider candidates for Hokage, and the entire village will come together to do this. I've already informed all of our clan that you are our bulwark. You will be a legendary Hokage, and we have to let them all see that. Make yourself presentable for the long day ahead, alright? Good night. And say goodnight to your sons for me." The old man waved, then returned to his chambers. Takahara went back to the large room with all the sleeping children, and brought them little futon to rest on, to make them comfortable. He laid down in the center of them, his green eyes piercing the ceiling as he contemplated the future. Not after long, though, did he lose his ability to keep his eyes open.

It was a harsh morning. The weather was terrible, rainy and loud, crackles of thunder scaring the little boys. He had to get ready, so he could barely give them the reassurance they needed, but he tried in-between tasks. There was a note saying to come to the meeting wearing his jounin attire -- the flak jacket and whatnot. He'd also need proof of citizenship and all of that other lovely stuff, but that was sort of average conduct when dealing with the higher-ups of the village. Still, he wasn't sure how this was going to work. If he recalled correctly, the clans had little to do with the politics of the village. He wasn't sure how exactly the Senju had the ability to even make a recommendation, but he supposed it did make sense. They still held a great deal of power in the village, with the loyalty and love of other clans, like Sarutobi and whatnot. How far did their influence go, though? He'd learn that today. Even if things didn't go the way he wanted, there was at least a lot to bring back from this experience.

After looking into the mirror, and when he finally liked what he saw, he started to leave. He said his goodbyes to all of the children, telling them to go visit the elder's wife so that she could make them her sweet bread again. They eagerly followed that advice, and so he felt safe to go. The shinobi leaped from rooftop to rooftop to arrive at the large building. Outside, the elder and a few of his clan officials were waiting for him, happy to see that he was punctual. It was a little early, so they could talk about what he'd be doing and how to impress the top brass. The whole thing was very nerve-wracking, though. He'd scarcely ever seen a Kage elected because of politics, usually they were chosen by their legendary accomplishments. However, since this Kage still died young, not much had happened since their rise. All of the jounin were fairly inexperienced, which meant that it was a battle between rookies. It was for this reason only that he could even contend.

After a lot of explanation, the time had about come for him to enter the building. The mood wasn't so surprising; this was a competition that would decide a change of pace for millions of people, and could bring endless honor to any given clan. Everyone had to at least try and contest, even if they knew they had no chance. The Senju had a damn good chance. In fact, this probably wouldn't even be a competition if it wasn't for the fact that Takahara was an outsider. That one thing made it seem impossible for him to be chosen. Even so, he had to try too, right? There were people here with lesser ability than him, and they still wanted to give whatever they could. They wanted to just try. "Elder, let's go take a seat up there." There was a giant sign saying "Senju" there, so it seemed like an appropriate place. He and the other two men, as well as the elder's daughter took their seats there. It was about time for the village elders to talk. There were two old women, and one man. They all looked extremely stern, showing that they had the will to continue on regardless of the loss they'd just faced.

"I'm sure all of you are aware of why we're here. The Hokage has died, poisoned very possibly by someone who held their trust. There is treachery within our military, and weakness in our Kage. Many of us feel that it's despicable that we should see this day come, where we've become elderly and too weak to do anything but watch as the new generation tramples on our code. All of you are nothing like the old heroes of Konohagakure. You're entitled, selfish, and severely lacking in ninjutsu capability. Now it's just a competition of who's the least entitled, selfish and lacking. So, we've come here to get a look at you. I've been told by previous Hokage that I have an eye that could spot a pin on the top of Mount Myoboku. Which of you will it be . . .?" One percent of the way in, and everyone was already scared shitless of this woman. She seemed about as merciless as death, and would probably break their spirits if they tried to overstep their ability.

She looked around for a long time, until her eye caught someone of interest. Yes, it was Takahara. "Senju. Your family has probably groveled the hardest for you to be considered, especially with your former allegiances in mind. However, I like the look of you. You look strong, dependable, tall and much like your forefathers. However, from my experience, most men like that are as dumb as a rock. Go, speak. Show me you're smart enough to deal with leading a village." She gave him no direction, and expected him to show his wits. This woman truly was a monster. "Well, elder," He started. The Senju tried to seem charismatic, so he smiled and looked directly into her eyes. "I couldn't begin to agree with you, since off in Mist most of the men are short and stubby peddlers," he laughed a little, and a few people laughed with him. The lady just rolled her eyes. "Though I'll try and vouch for myself and say that I've got a good head on my shoulders. Maybe some would disagree with me. My old academy teacher might," He chuckled again. "But those are from days past. I can truly say that I'd do anything to make peace and harmony my legacy, and I believe that I can do that best as Hokage." With how little he had to go off, he felt he did decent. The clansmen who came with him also felt the same way, and they realized that their trust in him was probably not misplaced.

The lady didn't seem too impressed, but she didn't seem disappointed, either. That was a start. "Very well. I believe in your desire to help the village. If there's one thing I've learned in my life, it's to just let you Senju naggers revel in your love and harmony without saying much of it. It's at least assuring to know that some things don't change with the rise of younger and stupider generations. However, we've yet to see if you'll bring about your harmony as our Hokage, or scrubbing murk off the boots of the Konin for the rest of your life." She grinned, and began to address other people. It was a tiring day, although it was also very interesting. She'd schooled and insulted a lot of the other Jounin, which would probably haunt them for the rest of their lives. Their family seemed so disappointed, and they were disappointed in themselves. Even when they were being peaceful, humans were always trying to one-up each other.

With the day at an end, he began to return home with the elder. He praised Takahara for his ability to remain cool and thoughtful in the face of pressure, and spoke of his wishes that the boy would truly be considered. There were others who also seemed to be very wise. There was a girl from the Nara clan, a girl from the Uchiha, a boy from the Akimichi, and a boy from some lesser-known clan. They were all his competition, but he could only hope that the better of the five came out victorious.

It was late at night, and yet he heard a scream. It didn't sound like a scared scream, or an excited scream. It sounded like the last noise someone would make before they died. He immediately got up, and created a wood protection for all of the children. While he wasn't sure exactly what was happening, he had too much experience with human viciousness to not suspect that they were being attacked by some other clan. He heard more sounds, and smelled other things. Fire, their great weakness. The smoke it left behind. He heard more screams, as well as cries as some of the other Senju tried to run; to get away. Then he heard something extremely horrific, and he knew he only had a few moments to react to it; the sound of paper tags counting down to their explosion, and right at his door. His wood would defend the children, but it was a risk he couldn't take. He manipulated the wood upright, flinging the tags high into the air where they exploded. The explosion could also stand as a signal to his sleeping clansmen that this was going to be a battlefield soon. He pulled up wood from the ground to create a light armor for himself, then left his home to investigate. He remained extremely cautious of his surroundings.

It didn't take long before he saw the first body, one of his own friends dead on the ground. If this was any other time, he'd be shocked and despaired, but he had to make sure to protect himself and his sons. This wasn't the moment for history to repeat; he couldn't go away and cry for four hours like when his grandma died, or when Yuusuke went to his grave. He heard an enemy shinobi, dashing from behind him. He ducked under the swing of his sword, then with chakra in his blow, smashed his fist hard against his chest. The man's entire ribcage would be shattered, and he'd probably die without medical care. But fat chance was he going to give him that.

"Takahara!" He heard a voice; the elder's daughter. "Where's oji-sama? Do you know? I can't find him in his chambers, or anywhere!" This girl was a sensor, so the fact that she couldn't find him was really worrisome. However, as much as he loved and adored the old man, he couldn't be caught up with looking for him. He had to defend the clan. "I don't know. I'm going to go fight, you keep looking for him! Good luck, Mayumi!" His answers were as brief as always, but he couldn't have his time wasted right now. He slowly crept around the corner of his home, witnessing an all-out battle in the middle garden of his clan holding. The Senju here were very impressive with their Mokuton, but the sheer level of fire coming down to counter them was astonishing. He watched then, his comrades being burnt alive beneath their pillars of wood. It was horrific. "Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu!" Water rose from the pond, and crashed against the raging fires in the shape of a large dragon. Six kunai descended closer to him, and he responded by throwing six of his own. The genesis seal on his ear at least kept him assured that he could defy death, even if only once.

He was heavily outnumbered, though. A lot of his people had already died, thanks to the preemptive intention of this attack. These attackers definitely had a motive. They weren't wearing the garbs of any village, as if they had no affiliation. However, from his experience, Katon was most native to Konoha. They were probably either rogues or villagers of this city, and very possibly, they were a part of another clan that wanted to see the Senju dead. How could they expect themselves to be a good Hokage if they got there on the blood of their own people? If this was really the case, then it was sickening. Very quickly, he retreated to the security of the wall, removing himself from their view. He stringed through handseals, first one jutsu, then another. He dipped his head out again, and charged into the crowd. He intended to use his advantage of water against their fire, though the Senju had to remember that there were people here that he could seriously hurt or kill if he overdid it. Because of that, they were already at a natural advantage, as they obviously didn't care how many Senju they killed.

He dodged the majority of their kunai, but deflected some of the ones he didn't have the ability to evade. Then, he dipped his hands into the ground, and dozens of massive trees sprung forth. They were created as if to lock the battlefield exclusively to this one area, making sure attacks didn't fly off into the distance to kill innocents. Also, it would return the advantage to him. If they tried to ignite the trees to destroy them, not only would it take a very long time, but the smoke they'd unleash against themselves could easily make them pass out. Then, when his arm rose from the ground, it seemed genetically amplified; springing from it was a group of massive roots seeming to rival the size of bijuu's tails. He whipped at the attackers, battering them and smothering them in the technique. Some of them were stupid enough to ignite the wood jutsu before it crashed against them, burning themselves alive in the strangling roots.

Of course, like in all battles between shinobi, there was a surprise waiting. A clansmen seemed to appear out of nowhere, and blew a massive fire technique against his face. Takahara's 'dead body' seemed to look like a burnt doll of wood, which perplexed the opponent. In his moment of intrigue, a tree rose behind him and gripped his entire body. It'd be impossible to escape, as he could no longer make seals. The one hope he might've had was genjutsu, but Takahara wouldn't look into his eyes, so that wasn't an issue. "Wood clone. It's one of the betters of our Senju abilities. Impossible to tell the difference." While it may have seemed like it, he wasn't going to go into his victory speech. He was too angry and sad to imagine being cocky. "I recognize your features. You're from that random little clan at the meeting, right? Hikuno?" This verified that he was, in fact, here because he wanted to get rid of the competition. This was just... ridiculous. "Whatever happens here, it won't matter. If you kill me, your clan elder will die too. Without his influence, you'll never be Hokage. Then all of your honeyed words would be meaningless." He seemed so sure he was going to win this.

Maybe because he underestimated the tact of other people. "The problem with hostage situations is that they can easily be turned on you. Especially if you yourself become a hostage. If I kill you, the elder dies. If the elder dies, you die. You two are caught in a little dance of life and death. However, since I won this fight, I'm the one who gets to decide who lives and who dies. I don't have to kill you, or accept your demands. There are better decisions that I can make. I'll take you to the council of elders, and they'll decide your fate. If my grandfather is killed after that, then your entire clan will be accountable, as it wasn't just your own machination anymore. Then who wins the game, my friend? You, or me?" He completely covered the man in a cage of wood, binding his arms and anything else that could somehow pose a threat. He'd have to bring the man to the council right now -- there was no time to waste.

      - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

It was late at night, but when urgency was here, even these old windbags could rise to the occasion. They sat in a line next to each other, and stared at both Takahara and his hostage. This time, rather than the old woman, the man spoke. "We have indeed received a message from one of your clansmen, telling us of this secretive assault on your holding. I don't doubt the truth in your words, Takahara. I'm far too old to be unsuspecting of treachery." He looked into the eyes of the young man in the cage, not fearing what he could do. He was defenseless in this state. "No one who would betray their own village could ever lead it. Our spirit is kept strong by loyalty and honor, not the foolish ambition of sycophants. Takahara has completely beaten you, both in battle and tact. Go rot where you belong." A couple of doton users came to escort him out, tugging the cage along with some weird earth transport. It was strange how they knew exactly when to come in.

"More importantly, my clan elder has been captured by their goons. They might kill him if we don't do something. Can you guys offer me any help?" He seemed much more relaxed than he was, and they could tell. In reality, he was so conflicted and hurt. He couldn't afford to lose another ally in this sea of bad people. "They won't, Takahara. Doing so would doom them all, and they know that. You'd be amazed to learn that some of us plotting little old people are actually quite smart. Not sure why exactly they decided to make this move in the first place, but despite our intelligence, when it seems like we can leave behind a legacy, some of us break and make rash decisions. The elders of their clan must've decided that before they died, they wanted to see their clan host a Hokage's seat. This isn't the first time it's happened, and it won't be the last." Even now, the world was still living the legacy of the clan era. The clans still warred with each other, but behind closed doors and much more rarely. Love and respect for one's family could be dangerous, too, in cases like this.

"But they've only managed to show us your strength. Takahara, we have made our decision with no trouble at all. You're a brave, powerful, honorable shinobi. You will be a great leader and asset to Konohagakure, as our Sandaime Hokage. Wear this badge with honor." His eyes were excited, his heart was beating fast. "Thank you for believing in me, Great Elders!" He bowed as pitifully as he could, and they laughed and smiled with him. It was an exciting day for a great village, a blazing beacon hidden in the leaves. Just like all of the brilliant minds in his life had fathered and mothered him, he would be the father of this village. There was a strange brightness in the night sky; the will of fire come alive.
