Herald dashed towards Tsugaru, and picked up Divine Edge off the ground, preparing to strike. Tsugaru touched his hand to the ground, a mass of pebbles rising out of the ground and forming a wall between Tsugaru and Herald. Then, Tsugaru cowardishly turned tail and ran to catch up with the other two. "If you guys think I'm taking on members of Fairy Tail solo, you're crazy! Now wait up!" Herald pulled a stone out of the wall of pebbles, collapsing the structure and making the rocks tumble to the ground. However, Tsugaru, Waru, and Thero were nowhere to be seen.
Herald hit something with his foot and looked down to see it was one of the books that Thero had been carrying. Herald picked up the book and read the first few lines of the book. "I am a member of a dark guild, and I hate human beings." As Herald began to read through the rest of the book, he went pale. This book...it looks like it contains the secrets and thoughts of one of those people that got away! If that's the case... Herald heard Silver come up behind him, and turned to face him. "I'm afraid they've gotten away. However, they left this book behind. My guess is that one of them was trying to extract secrets from our minds and place it into books like these. If you don't mind, could you examine this book back at the guild somehow? I'd like to see if I'm right."

Hmmn... Ok Silver said as he took the book from Herald. Though Silver and Adrian's personality differed, they shared the same mind and the same body and thus the same abilities. Conjuring a portal, Adrian slowly passed the book into it as he closed his eyes. The portal cackled with purple energy whenever it touched the texts within the books, which prompted Adrian to drop it onto the ground and stepping back a few steps. Well... There is a magical anomaly within the books, I don't know it's source or how it came to be though was Adrian's appraisal of the book, at the back of his mind he knew that the information within the book was acquired with a shadowy intent.
I'll have to study it further back in the guild Adrian said as he took a handkerchief to use in picking up the book, he didn't want to touch it. So.. how do you guys intend to follow them? Adrian asked as he tried to change the subject from the book to the spying of a dark guild on Fairy Tail.

"Unfortunately, I'm afraid they got away. I don't really know how to track them down now, but if the book is studied back at the guild, then maybe we can use it to track its creator's magical signature." Herald sheathed his sword and started walking back towards the guild.
However, waiting for them back at the guild were the books that Waru had teleported away. On the guild's tables lay purple books, exactly like the one in Herald's hands. Each book contains the deepest secrets of a fellow Fairy Tail member; some dark, others just embarassing. But, none of the books have a name to match the secrets too, so everyone would have to figure out which books were about who by reading them, and seeing the secrets inside.
( "Arc 2: Secret Switch." Begin!)
(If someone read five lines at random from your Book of Secrets, what would they be? In order to start, I need everyone to PM me those five lines in a subject titled "Book Secrets." When I'm sure I have everyone's five lines who wishes to participate, I'll distribute them at random to everyone. ...And before I forget, I DID get approval for this from Zerkon. The secrets can be embarassing things, like "I stole a locket from my crush," or serious things like "I'm actually dying." I'd prefer they be specific, however.)
(Edit by Zerkon:Yeah, he got my permission. Just a friendly reminder that you should try to word these secrets in a way that's not balantly obvious who it belongs to, mostly by just not mentioning names of people. Also, it can be secrets that your character doesn't even know about themselves. Also, sorry bro for Hijacking your post.)

(and now to get the ball rolling.)
Zerkon rested inside the guild; he had never left. So he was the first to notice a slight disturbance in the air around them, and the sudden book-out-of-nowhere that dropped upon his head. "Wahh!!!" He fell over in his chair, startled. "Who's responible?" He demanded as he jumped upright. "When no one was around to answer, he picked up the book to return it to the library, when he began to notice that it had no visible title on it, and that it was mostly blank along the way. He flipped through the pages once again, stumbling to read the words on one of the frontmost pages aloud, unaware of those around him.
"I almost died. I like to dance in my apartment alone.
I have a scar on the back of my neck.
I'm the weakest link of Fairy Tail; not Shadow Gear.
If my magic becomes canceled out or nulled for a long period of time when I'm fighting alone...I'd rather not think about it."
"...What is that supposed to mean? This isn't much of a book at all!" He was tempted to throw it over his shoulder, but he felt as if it was...'clinging' to him, so he kept it and went to find the others.

Adrian sat in the library with the pile of books set on a tower in front of him, Well, might as well begin Adrian said as was about to reach for one of the books. Suddenly a magic relapse arched towards Adrian as his finger came close to touching the books, this relapse caused Adrian to leak magically energy. Energy that resulted in the books being warped away. Fudge Adrian said as the last one vanished, right after their disappearance however, a book fell flat on his face, causing him to fall on his bum.
.... At least one came back to me Adrian said as he opened the book and began reading
"My parents were killed by a dark guild's pet.
I once had to kiss someone I didn't like.
I think I am ugly.
I was blackmailed into picking a lock.
As a kid, I meticulously collected Sorceror's Weekly. "
Well, this is beyond my grasp Adrian said before switching with the Silver who's already calmed down. Yeah, take up a job that you won't finish... Silver thought to Adrian as he stared at the set of words that made no sense to him. Descriptive, but not enough to allow deduction... Silver said as he closed the book and went out to the main guild hall

Herald returned to the guild, trying to come up with a plan to find the books and capture their creators. As he walked in, however, he tripped over a book that was laying on the floor, and noticed that it looked like the book that he had given to Silver earlier. Ah...I see. So Waru accidentally teleported the books back to the source, the guild. Glad to see the moron gave us the upper hand negotation-wise. Now that one problem's solved, the solution to the other should be easy. Still, I need to figure out how to get this to work... Herald left the book where it was, and went into his room to devise a plan.
Meanwhile, Jeri returned from a mission she had been on the last couple of weeks, and was glad to be back. Finally, back at the guild! Now I finally get to sleep on a warm, comfy, bed... Before she could rest, however, she tripped over something and hit the floor. "Oww....did a fight happen while I wasn't here?" She looked at what she tripped over, and discovered that it was a purple book. She picked up the book to read it, but stopped. What if this is someone's diary? If that's the case, they'd be mad to find out I read it...still, there's no name on it, and I don't see any guild marks...guess I have no choice. Jeri opened the book and read the first line aloud. "I am only as strong as I think I am." When Jeri read the line, she stopped thinking about who the book belonged to and took the meaning of the phrase to heart. Maybe this book is right...maybe if I stop thinking I'm weak, I'll get stronger and better. And I'm going to start by returning this book, no matter what it takes! Jeri set off to find the other guild members, with determination in her heart and a mysterious purple book in hand.

(Clear!Clear! (Me trying to revive this thread.))
Zerkon took the book with him,and upon finding Silver, stopped. "Hey, Adrian, would you happen to know anything about this boo-" He stopped midsentence, noticing the book he had that looked almost exactly like the one he held. "So you do know about it, it would seem." he muttered to himself. He wanted to look at the book Silver had, but figured it probably contained the same thing; random secrets that had no discernable meaning or connection to anyone he knew. "So, everything going well?" He hadn't noticed the change between Adrian and Silver, so he was again clueless and tried to make small talk."I haven't seen many people around the guild.I mean, there are people here, but it always feels lonely somehow.Hmm...No, I must be imagining things.Still, I wonder where Tire has run off to? Haven't seen that new recruit Jeri, either.

[[OOC: I fail to notice that the arc already started. -.-' My bad guys.]] Instead of returning to the guild, Tiresia had returned home to her apartment. She had been feeling more and more drained as of late as time went on, but hadn't allowed anyone to notice. Out of paranoia, the psychic mage habitually locks the door behind her and the few windows in the dreary floor before heading to her room. Tiresia sets her staff beside the bed-frame and kicks off her shoes before collapsing onto the soft mattress only to find something hard underneath the covers. The esper mage adjusts herself to a sitting position and reached under the covers then pulled out a small book. Was I reading before bed again? wondered Tiresia as she skimmed through the pages to find that there was little written on the front-most pages: I secretly love music and can play a flute and piano.
I once raided a girl's room to look for something.
My magic is a lie; the powers I have aren't mine.
I have never killed anyone, but I believe it's only a matter of time before I do.
I snuck into a girl's slumber party once. I don't remember ever buying this book or borrowing it...But I'll look into it tomorrow after my mind is more coherent... With that, Tiresia fell asleep on the bed and hugged the booked to her chest.

No, the book was enchanted. And I can't do research on malenchanted books Silver said in his gruff voice. Adrian really needs to better choose the mess he goes along with Silver commented on his twin out loud before making his way to the kitchen, it hadn't occurred to him that he hasn't eaten breakfast nor lunch. He guessed that it was the overload of bad news, the vanishing of Tenrou island with Mirajane the other members, and now the guild attacks that has happened as of late. Now where are the eggs? He asked rhetorically as he arrived in the kitchen, setting off to make some food for himself.

"Ah, I see." Zerkon murmered, not really getting the point. "Oh, so I guess you and him switched out again." He said, finally noting the change. When Silver had wandered out, he mumbled, not getting any straight answers. "Well, Let's see...There's no indication to the gender of the person within those lines... Why can't things like this ever be easy?"He groaned, sitting down at a table. "I'm fairly sure I'd remember someone almost dying... but then again, that happens way too much for my comfort..." He sighed as he got up, fixing himself a cup of Chai, his mind beginning to drift to other things. "With all these fights, repair bills will become ineveitable...Will we be able to afford the upkeep without our core members?"

Jeri asked around the guild, but no one knew who the book belonged to. She sighed, and decided to read two more lines out of the book to try and figure out more. "My past is full of pain." "I'm clueless about myself." The two new lines, however, didn't help, and she was about to leave for town to check there. Then, she noticed Zerkon was sitting down with a similar book in his hands. Ah...it would be his book, wouldn't it? Still, even if he doesn't like me very much, I promised myself I would return this book! "Excuse me, Zerkon, but I seem to have a book of yours. I don't know how I got it, and you probably won't believe me if I say I didn't steal it...Still, I'm returning it to you now, so there's no problem now, right?" She offered him the book, not knowing that neither book was his.
Meanwhile, Herald left his room with all his stuff in his bag, and pinned a note to his door that read "will be out for awhile." That should do it. Now I just have to see if the old man's still in town. I'll need Ladencia to have that gauntlet for this plan to work. Herald left the guild, trying to assemble the pieces together for his plan.

"What do you mean?I don't own any books like that one. Well, minus the one I'm investigating right here, of course." Zerkon pointed to the book he had been looking through. "Of course, I believe you when you say that you didn't steal it. I mean, this one LITERALLY came out of thin air and hit me in the face!" He chuckled, and turned back to the tea he had been drinking. "So since you came to me,I'll assume you have no clue who this one belongs to either? Pity. So much information, but no one to identify it with." he sighed, looking toward the kitchen, wondering what Silver was doing in there.

As Jeri followed Zerkon's gaze to the kitchen, she began to get really hungry and started thinking of food. Ugh...some morning tea sounds really good right now, along with an ham and cheese omlet and---no, focus! You have something important to take care of, don't get distracted! "Sorry, Zerkon, I'm afraid I don't know who these books belong to...but maybe we could work together to find out? If we share the information we have, we might have a better chance. Of course, we'd have to keep the information we find out a secret... You can agree to that, right?"

Silver came out of the kitchen looking satisfied, albeit only a little, he still held his uncanny demeanor of arrogant seriousness. He was wiping his mouth with a piece of napkin as he walked out, he kept covering his mouth with the napkin, it was as if he was hiding something. The book he was to discern was not with him when he came out, though he could have stowed it into a portal, his words of the being malenchanted was making that assumption highly unlikely. Walking faster now, he appeared to be rushing to the bathrooms.

Zerkon noticed Silver emerging from the kitchen, only to rush to the bathrooms. "Wait! Silver I need to look at that-!" But before he finished, Silver was already out of earshot. "Dangit. He needs to slow down." He turned back to Jeri, clearly irritated by Silver's lack of attention. He could almost swear that he was doing that on purpose, just to avoid the interaction with people. "Yes, It seems piling our resourses would be the best option at the moment, seeing how I am no closer to solving these books than when I got it.And yes, this information would not happen outside this circle of people trying to figure out something...well, anything about these books."Zerkon scratched his head, trying to make sense of it. "Well, at a first glance, my book doesn't reveal anything about it's owner, not even a gender, but maybe yours would offer more detail...?"
(Was that supposed to be a subtle hint to go into the kitchen and search for the book? Because if so, my character wouldn't notice it, so he can't search for it.
Actually, why did you bring up the kitchen in the first place? Kinda random, really...)
