As the description fleshed out, Constance felt her belly clench. Could it.... Could it...? So caught up in Flora's words, she yelped in surprise as the vase crashed to the ground. Her expression saddened. He wouldn't try that hard to avoid her... would he? Her eyes lifted to scan the room, looking for even a glimpse. '...Triston? Is that you?'
Looking to Zura, she sighed and pulled up a small smile. "A bath sounds lovely." She pushed up from the table, and looked at the broken vase again. "Do you need help cleaning that up?"

“No, no it’s perfectly fine.” Flora smiled up at Constance, “You two go ahead and I’ll take care of this.” Humming softly under her breath the centauress carefully picked up the pieces before placing them on the table and getting ready to sweep up the rest.
“Alright then.” Tugging lightly at Constance’s hand the centauress started out towards the garden. Frost now decorated some of the plants and she only smiled faintly. It was nice to see touches of colder weather even in the garden. Though she didn’t know how Flora would take to the sudden frost attack. As her hooves clopped lightly along the stone path she pointed towards a back part of the garden, “There’s a small fish pond that way which I love. Most guests don’t know about it since it’s behind the wood shed we have, but it’s one of my favorite spots. On a sunny afternoon I enjoy going out there to read by the weeping cherry we have there.”
As they approached the bathhouse two guests were leaving and so the coiling steam emerged along with them. Smiling faintly they nodded towards the two females before going back on their way towards their rooms. Holding the door open Zura grinned towards Constance, “Ready to come in?” Already her cheeks were flushed from the warmth coming from the inside.

Nodding, Constance turned and headed along with Zura. She didn't have to control her magic with Zura. The centauress was cooler than herself, but by no means cold.
She looked at the frosted plants and blinked in surprise. They hadn't been like that earlier, had they? She looked on to where Zura was pointing, and smiled. "A fish pond! You have a small forest here!" she said with a giggle. "This garden, a fish pond, the scenery... Beautiful."
She smiled at the steam coming out of the bath house as the heat hit the cool air. That looked divine! "I am," she replied, slipping on into the little room. She took a deep breath of the warm air, and smiled. Her magic didn't have to work in here! It was plenty warm! She waited until she was in the bath before letting her vines tuck away, letting the water soak her skin delightfully.

“I guess you could say that.” Zura smiled warmly, “Flora is too much in love with the forest for us to not keep one like this. It really helps the appeal too. Most expect just a room with a street to look at like most places in towns, but Flora really put her all into here. It’s her home after all too.” The centauress beamed. If it hadn’t been for this place then she wouldn’t know where to call home anymore.
Looking into the water Zura flushed lightly, “I’ll be right back.” Disappearing she emerged a few moments later with her hair down around her face and without her shirt or sleeves was just in an under layer of wrappings. Her front hooves tapped quietly on one of the large stones positioned around the spring before she slowly sank in. “Mmm.” Letting out a sigh of relief she looked over at Constance, “This is the real reason I work here some days.”
Outside Triston paced the garden walkway. What was going on here? How was Constance here? His gaze widened slightly as he remembered suddenly…that raffle…the ticket. Really? This was insane. He frowned. What would she do if she found out this was where he lived?

Constance giggled. "I don't think there's such a thing as loving a forest 'too much.' It's a wonderful place to be." She sunk down further into the water, and sighed happily.
"I can see why," she said contently. "If I had the chance at a nice hot bath like this regularly, then I'd work here as well!" Looking up at the ceiling, she smiled. As she watched, tropical vines sprouted out and grew along the rafters, growing large, bright flowers along the way. She kept them to the ceiling though, smiling up a the new decor. "Don't worry. I will remove it before we go. It just.. seems empty without it."

“Of course you would say that.” Zura laughed quietly, “I feel that way though myself…just more about the ocean.” She closed her eyes and rested her head back against the cool stones surrounding the springs, “I love the water and everything about it.”
Peeking Zura just laughed at the decoration of tropical vines, “Oh don’t worry about it. Flora would probably love to see them there.” She grinned, “You should leave them and see how Flora reacts later. It’ll be fun~” Though as she spoke the centauress slowly froze. Something was amiss with the water. She didn’t know exactly how she knew, but the feeling which would randomly creep up her spine when something was wrong was there…but Constance was fine right? “Hey-“ Cutting herself off the centauress finally noted the random snake which had somehow managed to make its way into the bathhouse. It was still steamy so she couldn’t even see what sort of snake it was, but it was on the rocks and about to slither right in…”Consta-Constance!” Yelling she tugged at the cattaur and splashed as they both went under the water but away from the snake which had been headed towards the cattaur.
Dropping the pile of wood he had been carrying at the sound of the scream Triston ran towards the bathhouse. Not even pausing to look around the cattaur reached out and there was a loud plop as the now snake-cicle dropped into the water. Before he reached out to grab the snake though bubbles came from the water as Zura reemerged, "Tri-Triston!" Crossing her arms the centauress flushed wildly as she sank back into the water. "Tha-Thank you."

"The ocean!" Constance sighed and sunk in a little further. "What a wonderful place."
Being so used to the various life in the woods, she didn't give the sensation of a creatures presence a second thought. Seeing Zura's expression though, she sat up to attention. "What is it?" She let out a yelp of surprise as she was grabbed and yanked over, nearly inhaling a bit of water on the way down, and only glimpsing the snake headed toward them. That thing was huge!!
She popped up right after Zura, standing above the surface, coughing and grabbing the centauress' arm for support. "Zura! Are you-?" With her other hand holding her bangs out of her eyes, she saw the frozen snake. Her eyes snapped up to the male, and her heart stopped. It was him! She didn't give a second thought to the fact that her cover leaves were still retracted as she stared, too shocked to see him. He'd... hidden from her. All she could do was drop her head, eyes down to the water. She... wasn't used to being rejected like this. For, surely, rejection was what this was.

Zura was still shivering from the sight of that snake. Was it poisonous? Dangerous? How had it gotten in? She shook her head trying to chase out the wild fantasies of fangs in her throat. Thankfully Triston had helped them out. Though her cheeks flamed at the thought. “Triston…you really shouldn’t be in here.” She managed to squeak before noticing Constance’s reaction to the male’s presence. That was not what she had been expecting. How odd. Gaze full of curiosity she looked between the two. Was there something going on here that she didn’t know about?
Triston just stared. He was really too surprised to move. He had heard Zura and came running to the rescue since it was so natural for him to protect her. But…he hadn’t realized Constance was in here. Knowing he was finally caught the cattaur couldn’t help but to gaze at her. Was she going to be angry with him? He just hadn’t known what to do about her presence was all. Talking about her presence…Triston finally realized that he had been staring at her and that as his gaze drifted towards the water looking for the snake that she was not…clothed.
For the first time he nearly felt heat in his own skin. Still the cattaur had to keep a calm appearance as he reached forward in the water, right next to Constance so that they were nearly brushing and grabbed at the snake. “Sorry.” His gaze shifted from the snake to her chest before he quickly turned his head. “You’re safe now.” Swallowing he gracefully moved out of the bath with the door slamming quickly behind him and a stunned Zura still looking back and forth between Constance and the now empty space. Had Triston…had he been flushing?

Triston... He was here. Was he...? Were these women why he never let her keep his company for long? Was he...? Did he think she...?
She kept her head down as the snake was scooped up, only just glancing at the braced hand that brushed passed her. She could feel the tension in the air, but she figured it was just because Triston was upset to see her again. The air was thick with more than just steam, and she felt... what was it? "Safe from what?" she murmured softly. She hurt more now than if the snake had actually bitten her. With just Euthalia in her life, the pain of Triston's actions stung all the more.
"Thank you for the bath, Zura. ..I think I'll go to my room for now," she murmured quietly, stepping out of the tub. Within two steps, her magic had her dry. By the time her hands touched the door chilled by Triston's hand, her leaves had bloomed once more to cover herself.

Zura just blinked in surprise at what she had just watched. Just a second ago they had been enjoying the baths, but then the snake had dropped in…but rather it wasn’t the snake. It had been Triston? She was still stunned by how Constance hadn’t even reacted to the male being in their bath, but rather at just seeing him. Did she know Triston? She hadn’t even managed to call out after the cattaurs before both had left. “What is going on?” Whispering to herself the centaur moved out of the spring and braiding her hair back threw her clothes back on. There was one thing though she recognized that look in Constance’s eyes. After all she had held that same expression on her very face once before.
“Triston.” Knocking on the door adjacent to her’s the centauress cracked open the door and peered into the simple room. Blankets and pillows in one corner with a desk across from them that held a lock box of things he kept hidden from them. Things he had from the north which he stored here. Frowning she looked past them towards the cattaur staring out of the window with his back turned towards her. “Triston, what’s wrong with you?” Zura let the door close behind her as she walked up to her friend. Crossing her arms she rubbed off the goose bumps his cold aura normally gave her.
“Sorry.”
“Sorry? Is that all I’m going to get from you again?” Zura replied bitterly before leaning forward and peering up at him. “Do you know Constance by any chance?” He didn’t shrug, but rather looked away from her. So he did! “Why did you avoid her then?” Zura sighed. “Triston…I don’t think it was the best ideas…she looked so hurt just now.” The centaur paused her expression sad, “I like Constance and I don’t know why you would want to avoid her or even how you two know each other…but shouldn’t you go check on her? She is a guest here after all.”
Blinking she looked up at Triston, but he said nothing for the longest time. Finally the male just turned and opening the door slipped out of the room. Shaking her head Zura just watched as he left. Such a trouble maker. “If only you would actually say what you’re thinking sometimes, Triston…” She whispered letting his door close behind her before she headed towards her room thoughtfully. Surely there was a way to cheer Constance up!
The winter cattaur paused uncertainly infront of a guest room. He really didn’t know what to do here…still Zura’s words haunted him. Had he hurt her? Sheesh. Triston ran a hand through his hair at the idea of facing the spring cattaur. Especially after what just happened…he couldn’t look at her right now. Face feeling oddly warm again the cattaur knocked lightly at the door before disappearing in the shadows again. In his place was a single rose, made completely of ice, just waiting there for the door to open.

Playing with some vines around her arms, Constance tried to shake herself out of her funk. All that time of not being bothered with anyone aside for Euthalia... She stretched out on the bed, sighing as she sank into the cushy layers. This bed thing was new, too. ...It didn't take away the sting she felt though.
If only Eithalia were here... No. No, that would end badly. Euthalia would be furious, and would try to yell at Triston, and then would tell her how silly she was for wanting to come here. She would hear nothing but how the spirit was right until next spring! Groaning at the thought, Constance pushed her face into a pillow, and suddenly giggled. Triston must have heard Zura scream... It was nice to know he had others that he cared about. She didn't like thinking of him as alone... That would also explain his reaction to her showing him the cave home. With a place like this, why would he ever stay there?!
With the soft knock at the door, she brushed at her face and this time made sure her coverage was in place. Figuring it was Zura, she was utterly confused to open the door to an empty hall. Some sort of trick? She was just about to shut the door when she saw the ice rose, and she stared at it. Was that...? Her copper gaze darted around, but there was no sign of who had left the gift. She was fairly certain she could guess...
She reached toward the sculpture, but then yanked her hand back. She might melt it! Grinning brightly now, she spun and whipped a sheet off the bed. Bundling it, she used the layers to safely pluck up the shimmering treasure, keeping her natural magic suppressed. It was beautiful... She gave one last peek out the door before pushing it shut, and set the rose on a table far from the bed, so that she wouldn't accidentally melt it. Then she laid back on the bed, her eyes locked on the shimmering rose. ...Triston was the only one to have ever given her such a gift.

Frost trailed after a pale finger as the cattaur traced shapes in the surface of the pond. It was a strange thing for this to actually happen really. The thought really amazed Triston. How was it that this cattaur of such warmth and spring kept reappearing in his life? Even here at the tavern…he smirked faintly. If he hadn’t been so determined to give her a good send off by taking her to the festival then it probably would have been their final goodbye. She would never have ended up here. Then again with the way things kept happening she may have found her way here either way.
But what was the point? All he could do was hurt her. The best way would be just to disappear from her side. That was what he had planned. But apparently it wasn’t going to be that easy. Triston pulled his hand away from the water and turning sharply threw his cloak over his shoulders before heading towards the main entrance of the tavern. He needed a walk outside of these walls, outside of this town.

Unfortunately, one could stare at an ice rose for only so long before getting itchy. Pushing up from the bed, she giggled at the sculpture once more before heading out from her room. She should go find Zura, after leaving the poor dear alone in the baths like that...
However... As she was walking through the garden, the sound of the town reached her ears. She had explored the town only once... with Triston. Maybe she would find something new to see on her own? Maybe Zura would like to come!
Tail twitching, she headed into the main dining area and looked around for Zura, or for someone who could tell her where to go to find the blue centauress.

A petite green centaur with flowers tangled in her hair walked into the main dining area and paused as she spotted a strange looking guest. A female cattaur with floral life all over her? She was so much like a wood fairy! Shona had to cover her mouth to hide the bright smile which was spreading across her features. So cool! Nearly bouncing along on her hooves the centauress approached the cattaur with a wave, “May I help you miss?” She asked politely, “I can probably help you.” Sure she didn’t work here often, but she did live here. Zura had already went to town after all so she figured she could manage the dining area while the blue centauress was away for a bit.
Her gaze was light and active though. She seemed flighty as if standing still in the room was really tiring for her. She was a lot like a younger version of Flora who used to live in the meadows all day long just wandering among the flowers and forest life.It really was awkward for her to be in here. But she really did find the cattaur fascinating as her attention was completely on her.

Constance sighed softly as she scanned the dining room without success. Zura must be somewhere else. However, someone else popped up to attention!
Cocking her head, Constance found herself smiling. This had to be another worker! Female centaur seemed to fit the bill around here. Except for... "If you could," she said softly, her smile lifting back up, "I was looking for Zura. I want to go to town, but I've never been through it before, and was hoping for company." What if she had to go into town alone? Well, surely that would be no problem! ...Yet, being alone suddenly didn't seem as nice as before.
