Lydia looked up, nodding with a soft smile. "I know... the worst has passed me... but sometimes, it comes back, it haunts me." she said quietly, holding the blanket closer around her. "I don't want to remember." she whispered, watching the fish so she didn't have to look at Yori.

"Then don't think about it." Yori said as he re-positioned himself "Think about something fun. I could help you." he said smiling now. he had his head in his hands, his elbows on the ground as he looked at Lydia with 'sparkling' eyes. "Hmmmm." he sat up again thinking about what they could do in the middle of no where "we could make up silly stories!" he said with enthusiasum. He and his sister would always think of silly stories when they were down and it always cheered them up. He hopped it would do the same with Lydia

Lydia nodded, looking up at Yori with a soft smile. Her eyes glimmered faintly with tears that were just beginning to form. "You go first. I'm not one for stories." she said quietly, staring at Yori in hope he would be able to help.

Yori smiled, trying to ignore her tears. If she was sad, he would most likely break down too. "Once upon a time there was a Unicorn named Chubby Charlie McCarty." He chuckled at the name and continued "Chubby Charlie McCarty lived on an upside down reverse rainbow and he was great friends with the Leprechauns on the other side. They would let him 1 piece of gold from the pot every time the rainbow shined. When it did shine Chubby Charlie McCarty would roll down the rainbow because he was so chubby and he would buy all the sweets that he could buy with the 1 piece of gold. He would share with those who asked politely and would continue rolling up the rainbow so that he could eat the rest. Then one day a Monkey came a long and at the colors of the rainbow, leaving Chubby Charlie McCarty to live with the Leprechauns. Now to this very day they say that the Skittles company has a Monkey that poops out their candy for them. THE END!" he said excitedly "How was that? You try one." He said enthusiastically wondering what her story would be

She held back a chuckle behind her hand, youth seen in her deep blue eyes. She calmed down after a moment, then bit her lip, "I don't really think I can make up a story... I'm not as creative." she looked down, her black hair falling in her face. She liked Yori's idea, adn it had gotten her mind off of things, but she felt a bit stupid that she couldn't make up a silly story.

Yori laughed with Lydia glad that she was feeling better and continued telling silly stories then took the fish off of the fire and handed one to her "I made you more spears." he said as he slid them over to you.

She smiled and took them, keeping them safely in her pocket. "Thanks so much. I'm glad we're together on this journey. You're a really nice guy." she admitted quietly, taking a bite out of the fresh fish.

Yori blushed and a mixed expression on his face confused "T-thank you." he said before he turned to eat his fish quietly.

Lydia nodded lightly, eating the fish and savoring the grilled flavor. She didn't blush, as she rarely harbored thoughts or feelings like those that caused the fluttery sensation. When she had finished eating, she put down the stick and crawled over to a spot a bit further from the fire, but inside the outcropping. She yawned, staring at the warm fire. Her lids drooped lightly, but she fought to stay awake. She knew that she would have another bad dream, and she didn't want that.

Yori chanted, putting up a barrier and hummed himself to sleep as he lay looking at the fire.

Lydia finally went to sleep, falling onto her side. She laid curled up in a ball, her dreams not affecting her as much tonight. She slept in the same position the entire night, unlike her usual tossing and turning.

Yori woke up to the sound of bushes rustling. The sun was just creeping up and he washed his face in the lake. He saw what was going on in the other world and frowned. He did indeed see spirits on the other side, more then usuall. He shook his head he didn't want to think about what could be happening on the other side, the possibilities are endless and it would only drive him insane until they saved his sister. Again he went to find branches to carve off of until Lydia woke up and ended up with 3 more arrows and 1 more spear.

Lydia woke up after a few minutes, practically jumping up. She took a moment to calm down, and sighed. Her dreams had taken a strange turn, and they seemed to peak always when she was about to wake. She looked over at Yori and smiled softly, crawling out of the outcropping lazily, and cupping some water in her hands. She splashed her face, hoping it would wake her up. It worked. "Good morning... How'd you sleep?" she asked quietly, going over to where Yori was, and sitting down a few feet away.

He handed her the spear he had finished "I should be the one asking you that. You ok? i saw you sit up startled."

She took the spear gratefully, then nodded. "I'm fine. It was just another nightmare. I always have nightmares..." she explained quietly, staring at the ash pit that once was a fire.
