Brantley knew there was going to be a duel about, but do to his superior sword skills as a former pirate. He grabbed another thing out of the trashcan, which was a box full of used condoms. He throw them at Janelle hoping to hit her and distract her as grabbed a trashcan lid, held it like he was in a joust, lowered his kendo stick, and charged at Janelle.

really, now, brantley would have to come better than that. she leans her head to the side to avoid it. as Brantley charges in, she grips the sledgehammer with both hands, steps slightly to the side, and swings, aiming for his injured left arm again

Brantley was hit in the left arm and stumbled toward the ropes. He grunted out in so much pain. He still had his shield and weapons ready for attack and stared at Janelle. He was getting aggravated by the woman, mainly because she's a woman and has no place in wrestling.

Janelle holds up the sledgehammer again
"You feeling ok over there? You can always quit if you like."
She smiles, purposely taunting Brantley

Brantley gave a quick reply to Janelle, "How about after I win, I slap you in the face with my scrotum a couple of times hun?" Brantley snickered to himself waiting for Janelle to make a move.

Janelle is done talking, and now moves in. she has to switch targets, this time aiming low as she looks to hit a sledgehammer shot to the right knee of Brantley

Before Janelle can get to Brantley, he'd attempt to slap her across the face with his kendo stick. He was hoping he could get a shot on her and get a strong attack in afterwards.

(i'm going low and you're going high. would that not make both attacks hit, or are you swinging it more like a baseball bat in which case you could probably strike first. just for clarification so i know how to sell)

((I meant like, trying to swing it before Janelle could reach. But I see what you're saying. It's like a baseball swing, but just with one hand.))
Brantley was taken down by the shot to the knee and fell to his side. He hoped that his shot would be able to make it to Janelle so that he wasn't the only one with a stinging feeling going down.

Janelle is hit right in the side of the head as well, giving her a slightly dazed look as she falls, seemingly in slow motion, to the side

Brantley would try to drag himself with his right arm and right leg to where Janelle is and push her onto her back. He'd then attempt to drape one arm over her chest in attempt to pin her.

Janelle is barely aware as she's rolled onto her back and a count begins
one....two...thre...
Janelle instinctively gets her shoulder off the mat. the crowd cheers, as the women's champion is clearly not out of the fight yet. she is not, however, making an attempt to move just yet

Brantley would roll off of Janelle and lay beside her still breathing hard. He wouldn't move too much trying to regain as much energy as he possibly could at the moment.

when she fell, janelle had released the sledgehammer out of reflex. she now rolls to the ropes, going to pull herself up in the corner facing Brantley

Brantley would grab the rope and drag himself to the corner next to Janelle's corner and would lift himself up. He was breathing heavily after all that has gone down in the match so far.
