Looking at the shard curiously, the Delibird would reach out to take the item in his right wing...and immediately scream like a little girl when he got within half an inch of the item, dramatically flipping over the counter in the process ">KEEP IT AWAY!!!!<" He shrieked from behind the counter, coming up with one wing crossed over the other in a t shape. ">That thing is evil...pure evil!<" He squawked ">Are you trying to curse this store!?<" The Pokemon called accusingly...though he never uncrossed his wings. It didn't seem like Victoria would find a buyer for that particular item any time soon!

Victoria would roll her eyes at the pokemon's reaction. Though she wasn't going to get rid of it this way it seemed.
"Okay, fine, I won't sell this here." "Since you are acting like I am trying to kill you with it ...tell me what is so wrong about that shard."
The girl would change tactics. If she couldn't sell it, maybe, she could get some more information about it. It wasn't like she was willing to part with much else, though she did have a thunderstone she could sell. She had no plan of getting any more electric types to her team ......she put it away as she pulled out the needed stone.
Though she was also waiting for an answer.

">I told you!<" The Delibird huffed slightly, finally dropping his wings onto his hips as he stamped one webbed foot ">That thing is EVIL!<" The Pokemon stated, acting as if the fact should have been completely obvious to the girl. ">It's....it's like thousands of tortured souls screaming in unending agony!...how can you not hear it!?<" The Ice-Type pipped up, wings flailing as he leaned over the counter's edge.
Unfortunately in that same motion the Delibird would completely release his grip on the sack across his back, causing it to strike the counter and release a tentatively wrapped present onto the ground. ">Oh Arceus no....HIT THE DIRT!<" He squawked as the present hit the floor, turning about and tossing himself against the counter, hunching over and wrapping his wings over his head. In the instant that followed the present would explode....release a soft, healing light which scattered across the shop like fresh fallen snow.
Shivering briefly, the panicked Delibird would tilt his head curiously when he noted the serious lack of a store shattering explosion. Peeking over his should the Delibird would breath a sigh of relief, turning around and dragging the sack behind him, in the same token revealing the item as an appendage. His tail to be precise. Made from a thin later of skin coated thickly with feathers, the Pokemon possessed an odd sort of hollow tail his species used to carry food.
Dusting himself off, the Delibird would lean forward a bit upon noticing the Thunderstone ">I'll give you 1050 for that<" He stated, acting as if the events of the past minute never happened.

Victoria didn't flinch. SHe should have, but she was trying to figure out what was so evil about the soul shard ....as the pokemon dove away and the explosion made her nearly jump out of her skin. The fact that it end up being soothing rather than painful was her only saving grace as she looked at the pokemon with her mouth open.
Had she been attacked? Though it would seem that the pokemon had chosen to ignore it, and though Victoria would look suspicously ...she would forget it as well.
It wasn't a lot, but she could use it to buy a few needed things. She looked at the stone, once gone, she was never sure when or where she would get another. But, it was worth it for the moment.
"Yes, I will sell it."
Victoria held it towards the Delibird.
"I want 5 pokeballs with that, and 5 potions with it as well. That should be a 1,000 gold overall."
The girl would retort. She didn't need a lot of those, but enough that she could use it as needed. She had plans of making her party grow still, and though she didn't have an unlimited amount of space on her land ...she had enough to make that happen.

Sliding the end of his tail under one arm to keep it closed, the Delibird would begin flapping his arms...one far more so then the other...producing a rather lopsided form of flight. Taking the Thunderstone in his beak, the Delibird would flap his way back to the counter. Once there he'd secret the valuable stone away into his tail, and in the same token take the requested items out from the same location. One could only imagine how much he could actually fit in there!
Putting the potions and pokeballs separately into two paper bags, the Pokemon would fold, roll, then flatten the ends before holding them out to Victoria ">Have a nice day, and please come again!<" He said cheerily.

Victoria would declares as she turns and leaves the place. She was going to head back to her own lands, she would need to figure a few things out and better yet.
It might be time for a few evolutions.
The girl thought about that with a smile as she walks out the door with the items in her arms.

In Jasmine and Ironclaw would enter the shop, it was early hours, but Jasmine certainly hoped in the time it took her to go all through the tournament and to get back that the clerk was finished with his business on Pink Island... she thumbed her items...
If she couldn't go back to Pink Island, her plans were useless...
And she needed these for resources instead, that stood for reason.
She needed to be at her best for this, looking toward the TM selection, to see if the Thunderwave TM was still there...
But she wanted to see first, if the clerk was there... she hoped she had a favor to call in there...

The man was there ...as he worked on restacking different artifacts back upon the shelves. He was on his tippy toes then ....as he went about his work only noticing Jasmine out of the counter of his eyes.
"Welcome back, lil' lady."
He would call out to her as he slide one more box further back on the shelf.
"How can I help you?"

Jasmine half-smiled, glad to see him...
But she reached into her satchel, then deposited two items on the desk, one Leafstone and one Energy Ball TM on the counter, even if she couldn't take them to Pink Island's gymleader anymore, she knew she'd at least get the worth here.
"I need to do a little business... and ask a favor if possible."
"I got these at the tournament... and need to ask how much you could give me... in trade, not cash?"

"IN trade, you will have to explain that one to me. Let's see the leaf stone is worth 1.050 gold and the that tm is 1, 500 gold, so overall ...the trade off would have to be something worth ....2,550 gold."
The man would tell her matter a factly. Jasmine would probably be more than a little bit surprise at the price considering how much she had pained for it ....herself.
It wasn't a very good item to sell, but to buy ....for a trainer was worth quite a pretty penny.

Jasmine's reaction was certainly more than surprise, she began to slide and Ironclaw squawked suddenly as she quickly threw up her wings to catch the girla nd stop her, Burnout suddenly apparated to hold Jasmine's shoulders up.
"I... Um... sorry... I..." She shook her head as best the collar would allow.
She sighed there a moment... gold... the clerk didn't trade much... alright...
"The TM... took a bit of effort..."
She considered for a moment... the Leaf Stone was livable. The TM however... "...In Trade... I wanted to ask... if you'd trade the Energy Ball TM for the Thunderwave TM you have?"
Well... it was at least worth a shot.

"Sorry to tell you, but no for that one. I don't like to do a lot of trade ...it can get you into a heap of trouble, and no good merchant would do such a thing."
The man would tell her up front.
"A clean sell of money is what I stick to, so I don't end up swindling anyone."

Jasmine grimaced.
Well... so much for that idea...
She sighed, and pocketed both items back... they represented her only really large winnings... and one of them, a harsh reminder for what she had done.
She'd keep them for later, and hopefully for somewhere she could get a better price later.
For now, she looked to the clerk, "It's okay. I appreciate it."
"I need to hurry, so I won't press it... but... my favor, I need to ask."
She took a deep breath, and fixed her good eye on the clerk... she hoped the business she had gotten him thus far was something usable here, that this sway would help... she had an idea to try, but no idea if it would work.
Just now instead, she had to hope the clerk could help her instead.
"This is one question I need to ask... that you can't tell Joy I asked."
"If you know... of any places other merchants gather, to try and buy black market items."
"Rare things. Like... a pink Rhyhorn for instance."

"Black markets? Sorry, I don't know of any of those places, I keep my business clean ....I mean, I wouldn't be working on the academy grounds if I ran around with those types."
The man would tell her honestly. IT was just what he had said, this wasn't the safest place for anyone to dab in that sort of a business.
"Though, if you are looking for that sort of a place, I would look for a tournament. Merchants of call sort are allowed to flock there to sale their wear, and the rarer stuff tend to appear doing those sort of events."
"Though the prices are always 5 time more than anyone is willing to pay. I wouldn't buy anything from a merchant in such a place, shoddy wares or shoddy prices. You get one or the other."
He would state seriously.

Jasmine grimaced, and for a moment, she could have cracked up, there and then...
She just nodded... Victoria had been on the money after all... a tournament...
Now they just had to FIND a tournament... or a better idea... they followed the one they knew and went there.
She would have asked further, but she knew herself she was wearing time thin, and she had no idea how long Victoria would wait for her.
"Alright... I..." She took a deep breath, "I know that feeling..."
"But, thank you anyway for being honest."
"I'm not sure when I'll be back, but, I hope to do some business with you later again, but, until then, take care..."
"And... let Rachael of Pink Island know I hope they're all doing better!"
She'd wave, as quickly as they had entered, they were leaving now, off towards the co-op class....
