Harrison looked around after receiving his tag. A few people were already entering the Portal.

"Alright," Harrison said, flashlight in one hand and backpack on one shoulder. Besides his coat and sash (the closest thing he owned to a scabbard) he looked and felt like an actor from Stargate. "Don't everybody jump through at once."

Well then... Stretching her arms, she followed the rest of her group to the device, tugging at the straps of her backpack as she mentally sighed; this should be so fun.

Ennéa looked at the glowing transport apparatus, feeling a slight twist of unease in her stomach. The machine reminded her a little of a transporter like on tv, which was kind of cool! But... what would be there on other end? Hostile alien monster lifeforms? Ennéa bit her lip, maybe there would be hordes of monsters again, like on their last mission...

Eh, if there's monsters I'll cut them down. Baraz said with casual arrogance. Chop off a few limbs and they'll leave you alone.

"Stop listening to my thoughts!" Ennéa shielded her head with her hands and scowled. "Also, that's gross, Baraz!"

I can't help it when you think so loudly, pinkyeye.

"Well still, stop it." Ennéa punctuated her words with a small stomp of her foot.

She then went over to stand closer to Jordan, though she resisted the urge to hang off his arm again. She was a hunter. That was what she left home for, to be brave and fight monsters. She could handle this.

It was just nicer to be near her group leader. Jordan would know what to do once they got to where ever that transport took them. Ennéa took a shaky breath and looked up to him. "Ready to go when you are, Boss."

"Oh good. I think things will get along just fine. Really." Cass chimed in, seeming confident the group would function without killing each other.

Look where you've put the young man's arm. Cass stared up at her left temple - conversing with Nicodemus- before pausing...and slooowwwllyy looking down at where she'd snuggled Marcus and Jude's arms up to her chest. She seemed to think there was nothing wrong with it. Or rather, she didn't seem to realize it was a problem, looking at Jude (who seemed to be having some sort of flustered moment), then to Marcus again. Marcus seemed OK. So clearly, everything was fine. She hugged the arms a bit tighter.

"Well! It looks like we should probably get moving, huh?" she observed. Though she would have like to have gotten another member to their party. Ah well. SHe'd deal with having her harem without realizing she had a harem.

Jude had said the magic words. A straggler indeed! The Sun Hunter, who had been more or less just watching the way the groups were splitting themselves up, had finally decided that it was time to avoid the higher ups and tag onto a group. Oh would Jude love to see him!

"So you don't mind one last straggler, then?" The blonde said, sliding up to Judy and leaning an elbow on his shoulder. "Jeremy, Sun Hunter." He said to the other group members, knowing full well that at least Jude knew him.

Cass grinned as their new member made his appearance, perking up. "Hi!" She greeted chipperly, possibly the happiest member of their team, "I'm Cassandra, Mist Hunter" she added. Then again, Jeremy might have also had some chipper factor to him, so maybe team Srs-face wouldn't be so srs faced the entire time.That would have been nice. However, she did seem to pause and look down at..Marcus's..hand..
..oh..

OH. That was um.. OH. Right. Hands.. yeah. Okay. Cass's face turned three shades of red as she relinquished both boy's arms. Yeah, her expression was pretty damn comical as she pointed at the portal with a few flails of her arms.

"I'm um... going..yeah..." she half-flailed her arms before running along on Jude's heels. Shame. There was much shame in the fact she'd just given TWO boys a free feel.

WHOOPS. This mission was going to lack all the distractions, wasn't it?

Cass is Exitting

David only wished Clarice were joking about following the sense of foreboding. It grew stronger as they approached the lab. Logically, he reasoned it was likely an effect of the FEAR that the doctor was utilising. In the face of such dread, logic went straight out the window, of course. If it hadn't been for Clarice, Davey might have spent much longer dilly-dallying outside the lab, working up the courage to enter.

He was almost feeling grateful to Clarice, especially when she picked up two of the three required containers. Until he noticed that the remaining container was the one with all the warning and toxic signs on it. "He really does want us dead, doesn't he?" Davey ground out between clenched teeth.

Of course, by he Davey meant the doctor and you, and by us he meant me.

'I hate you all, I hate you all.' The mental refrain played over and over as Davey approached the container, studying it to find the safest way to transport it. Finally he picked it up once he was certain there were no leaks, cradling it carefully against his chest. He glowered at Clarice as they made their way back to the others. The glare was still in full effect when he set the container down in front of the doctor, as toxic a green as radioactive goo.

Davey glanced around. Most of the others had left. Of course. He shrugged his good shoulder - whatever, right? Eventually they'd work in their assigned teams, not just with the friends they'd made during the trials.

In the meantime, Davey refused to be useless. The look he turned on the doctor was still blatantly untrusting. It was slightly less so when he eyed Caelius - dude might have been responsible for Davey dying twice, but it had worked out okay in the end, something he doubted would be the same if the doctor was involved.

"Anything else I can do?" he asked.
