So, how is this idea compared to my other attempts at vampire roleplays?
I like it! [Thank you very much; I'm happy to hear that~]
Meh. Mediocre, as always. [To each their own.]
This idea is bad and you should feel bad! [I choose to feel jubilated instead.]

Neil nodded, and his teeth extended. Slowly, he shifted over to the door, and locked it behind him. "How's the wine?" he asked, smiling, fangs extending past his lips.

"It's wonderful tha~" Marie stopped mid sentence when she heard the click of the lock. Slowly she put her wine glass down on the desk, and took a small step away from the two of them. "T-thank you for everything but I really should be going. My friends will be worried..." She lied. Her friends were actually quite used to her going off to network. They might be a little concerned but it was doubtful they would come looking for her.
Marie stepped away until her back hit the wall in an attempt to put as much distance as she could between her and them. She didn't like the way they were looking at her now. Like a predictor might look at it's prey before it strikes. She was now regretting leaving her pepper spray and her cellphone in her coat pocket, which was in coat check. Unfortunatly for her, her pulse quickened, which would only help to spread the smell of her sweet blood through the room.

(I think it would work better if Anime posted next.)

"Oh, relax. We aren't going to hurt you any~" Anya cooed, slowly standing herself up with a playful smirk. Her pace was slow, taunting even as she approached the girl. "Besides, you'd be surprised how many drunks burst into your office when you don't lock the door. Especially when you're in the middle of something important." Well, that was technecally true. Make no mistake, Anya did intend on feeding on Marie with Niel tonight. Even if this wasn't the reason why they were locked inside, it was a surprisingly common occurance.

Marie did visibly calm somewhat. That actually did make sense. Drunk people did do unpredictable things from time to time....okay well all the time. Marie relaxed enough to reach for her wine glass again, and take another sip of her wine. Maybe it would help her from feeling so on edge. She still didn't like the way Neil was looking at her, but she would stay a little longer nonetheless. There was just something about Anya and Neil that grabbed Marie's interest and made her want to stay. There was something so different about them, but Marie couldn't put her finger on what it was.

Neil retracted his fangs, smiling as he spoke. "Calm down, Marie." he said, softly. "We won't hurt you." He walked, just as slowly as Anya, towards Marie.

Thoughout that whole time, somehow Marie went without noticing the white fangs of Neil protruding over her lower lip. But when they were retracted, he lost that preditor like gaze, which further calmed Marie considerably. She chuckled nervously, shaking her head from her own foolishness. "I'm sorry...it must have been the wine. I'll admit I had a glass or two before I came to Vice." She said somewhat sheepishly. But nonetheless, she still wished she had kept her pepper spray with her. She would have felt safer with it. But it was no matter, she had a decent right hook if need be.

Marie forced out a smile, determined to return herself to being as calm as she was before the door was locked. "Mr. Neil. You mentioned you owned an Opera House? May I ask how business has been for you? I've never been to an opera myself, so I confess that I wouldn't have the foggiest idea."

"I admit, business hasn't been as good as Vice's, but four times out of every seven, we have a nearly full house." Neil was taken aback. Usually, he didn't converse with his food. "Of course, I leave the day-to-day goings-on to an assistant."

In a strange town, going to a strange Nightclub would probably be one of the things that most people would call 'fun' or 'adventurous'... but for Rosabella it was something that was one of those 'what was I thinking' moments. She stood out at the club as the only one looking like she wasn't having a good time. She had planted herself in the corner, her arms crossed under her chest and nursing a Bloody Ceaser very protectively on the table. She looked around at all the faces having a good time, the girls dancing provocotively to the pulsing beat of the music. She watched with lonely, distant look in her eyes. She raised the glass to her softly painted lips and took a small sip of the only alcholic drink that she actually liked. Rosabella's glass hit the table lightly with a soft 'thump' as she took a breather and stared at her reflection on the table. In it's reflection she studied her own face as though she was a stranger... and in a way she was.
Who was she? It was a constant question that bubbled to the top of her head and plagued her none stop. She was here for a reason, to try and figure out who the girl was in the mirror every morning, to find that thing that made her feel alive and comfortable in her own skin and perhaps, maybe... just maybe... someone who would make her feel whole. Rosabella gave something of a dreaming sigh at that thought. What girl didn't, at least at one point in her life, daydream about that perverbal White Knight that would save her from herself. Rosabella brought her hand up and rested her chin in her palm and her elbow on the table. She turned her attention out the window, not sure what could possibly be that thing to break through her protective shell that she had surrounded herself with through the years.

"Well that's good to here." Marie commented. She noticed for a moment that Neil almost looked...perplexed about something. "Is something wrong?" Marie asked suddenly, "Your expression seems...puzzled almost." She said with a soft smile.

Turning to Anya now, Marie took another sip of her wine before placing it back down on the table. It was such a good wine, she would need to remember to ask what the name of it was. But judging by everything else in their possession, (the furnishings, the businesses) she guessed it was likely absurdly expensive, and much beyond the reach of an art student trying to get her name out in the world. "Miss Anya. Might I ask you something? I've been wondering since the moment we left the dance floor why you two picked out me of all people to have drinks with you? Was it just mere chance, or was there something you saw of interest?" Marie asked curiously. Likely a bit of a bold question, but it might have been the wine helping her tongue along.

((So out of curiosity...what happened to the other origins? cat_confused ))

{That's what I'm wondering. I'm going to send them one more activity PM soon, and if they don't try and be active once more, I'll be removing their clans and leaving them open for whoever wants to play an origin.}

"That's easy. You look interesting." Anya chuckled, rather amused by the question itself. "I have a sort of...gift when it comes to spotting potential. Those who have the ability to make something of themselves, those who can leave an impact on the world, always seem to catch my eye. I wanted to see if you're as full of possibilities as you look." It was a half-honest answer, if nothing else. Anya loved feeding on those with potential, those potential somebodies who roam into her little nightclub.

((Okay.))

Marie felt a faint tinge of pink grace her cheeks. She was pleased that someone with such connections could see her potential, and took interest in that. This was the sort of break that Marie needed to get her name out. "Well....I'm flattered." Marie replied, it was all she really could think to say.

By that point Marie was calmed fully. It was as if her little scare hadn't happened at all. Her pulse had returned it it's calm, slow beat, which the vampires would likely notice. By this point the wine had mixed more with her blood as well, possibly making it smell sweeter and more taunting then ever.

"Would you like another glass of wine, Marie?" Neil asked, pouring the wine into a glass. If she didn't take it, he was considering another glass.
