Let your life be your dream. xxxxxxxxxxxxIntegrity. Honesty.▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ iO iix M iix E xii G xii Ai ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ xxx Codename: Sωanηxxx Location: Courtyard Holly let out a chuckle, and introduced herself in return. “The name's Holly.” She began. “And, don't worry about being a beginner. Believe it or not, I was pretty hopeless my first few months after picking this up.” She admitted, trying to comfort Reggie in her knowledge of origami, or in this case, her lack thereof. Holly also decided then and there to go with one of the easier flower designs she know, as to keep the fellow mutant from becoming as little frustrated as possible.
Holding the piece of paper in both hands, she let out a content breath of air. “Alright, now – let's get started.” She began, folding her fingers with one and other and stretching out her arms. “First, let's fold it in half twice.” She started making the folds herself, all while trying to keep her hands out of the way as to prevent herself from blocking Reggie's view. Waiting for a few moments, the petite girl moved onto the next step. “Then after that, we fold it in half again but this time into a triangle.” She said, doing as she described and creating a triangle from the square piece of folded paper.
Having waited once more she moved on again. “Now, we need to unfold this all, and collapse it into an Isosceles triangle.” She described. Instead of doing so by hand however, she instead put the piece down and began to fold using her powers instead, as to allow Reggie to completely observe how things were being done. Focusing, the paper did as she wanted; moving slowly as to allow the beginner to see how to go about folding.
As Holly concentrated, the paper kept on moving, taking breaks, and even repeating steps as to help guide Reggie along the instructions. This piece did get a little bit complicated in moving on however, and Holly was somewhat curious to see how the newbie would do.
In the back of her mind however, prom was evident. Holly was some uncertain as to whether or not she'd even go, or if she should try to scrounge up a date by that time. By no means was there a lack of men on campus she wouldn't mind taking, Felix, and Roland both being particularly attractive to her. Regardless, she found herself particularly attracted to Aren, though she doubted he even ever saw her. This was hardly the end of it though – the competition here was something else, t'boot. Narcissa and Isabella were both extraordinary beautiful, and someone would have to be out of their right mind to reject them. There were quite a few other lookers as well; hell, it seemed like there wasn't a student on campus that wasn't at least somewhat attractive. Reggie was no exception, possessing a sharp sort of look that only a few she's ever met could effectively pull off.
Shaking her head slightly, she pulled her attention back to her thoughts and to the task at hand. "How're you doing?" She inquired.[[OoC: School's been monstrous, and this is the first time in forever I've been able to post. Sorry for keeping you waiting for so long. Also, sorry if the post is crap - its been a looong day. ;___;]] ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Chase the morning, xxxxxx Yield for nothing.

Name: Jacen Reilly [Kraken] Team: Omega Location: Lounge Okay, something’s Gonna explode soon… Jacen smiled at the woman’s acknowledgment that she was an art major. He didn’t even know whether he was going to go on to College or not. He’d been fighting for so long, was there even a point to a 'higher education'? Maybe he'd take a few classes, or take a year off. Meh. He laughed as she showed him the picture. “Political Satire, yes?” He asked, ever-present grin on his face. The drawing reminded him of the editorial newspaper comics Logan sometimes left out of the morning paper. Except those ones were far less ‘pro-mutant’. From an artistic standpoint, it was quite amazing. Better than any of the graphite sketches he could pull off. He’d have to get back into the art swing before this momentary peace eluded them. “It looks Great.” Kerrigan’s entrance was met with a wave by Jacen, and her greeting a respone: “Trouble? Us?” Because if there’s one thing mutant teenagers are known for, it’s Not getting into trouble. He absent-mindedly switched his attention from watching Orchid draw Kerrigan to listening to Roland and Aurelie’s conversation with Bianca. Before long he was aware of another mutant crossing the threshold of the room. He looked over his shoulder at the green-skinned woman who entered, saluting as she addressed them all and sat down. He briefly wondered whether her skin stayed like that all the time, before the T.V. screen caught his attention. He figured Dr. Moira was going to be one of the most outspoken for the mutant cause on this issue. Dorian’s entrance warranted a nod, but not much else as Jacen vaulted over the back of the chair next to Orchid, sitting down to continue watching the going-ons in the room. I can Feel It.

Name: Leonardo Rossi Team: Alpha Location: Lake The Blunt Force I Needed. She was right. Extremely right. Right to the point of making Leonardo feel sort of like an idiot. Although the abrasiveness and severity of her words caught him off guard, it was exactly what he needed to hear. Actually, the delivery was probably the most important part of Tara’s entire spiel; it made Leo face the cold hard facts. They were all in it together, for better or worse. Leonardo had always been sort of on his own before… even while on a team. He was the special one, the one with problems. But not now. Everyone had problems… he had to realize that. All of the students at the Academy were there for some reason; whether it was escaping persecution, hiding from government agencies… or just trying to be normal, everyone there had faced some sort of hardship before all of this.
Tara was also correct about his reasons for leaving. It would be for him, not for the others at the Academy. It would be out of the own guilty feelings in his heart. If he was serious about all of it… he would be up in his room, packing his bags and not saying a word to anyone before waltzing out of the front door. He had confided in her about the situation… which showed that he had doubt about the decision to begin with. And he did have reasons to stay… lots of them. When he was at the Academy, he was at peace, for the first time in a long time. Also, there had been the friends he’d made while at the Academy. He had learned so much… and he wasn’t willing to give all of it away so quickly.
Although the appearance of Bella was expected, it still startled Leonardo that her voice suddenly penetrated the silence around them. He jumped slightly; usually his senses were more attuned to those sorts of things. Then again, Bella could have just been messing with him, keeping every single sound that would have given her away suppressed. Yeah, that sounded like her. Yes, she was playful today… the hard pinch on his arm proved that.
Bella, like Tara, was right once again. He sucked in a tight breath though as Bella mentioned SHIELD… he didn’t exactly want that out in the open yet. His gaze shifted over to Tara for a brief second, hoping that that part of Bella’s statement had glided past her, unnoticed. That was the last thing he needed: word going around that he had once been a government agent, when the tensions about the government were so high right now. Although Leo did trust that Tara could probably keep a secret… he just didn’t like other people knowing about his rather robust secret agent life.
Leo’s heart raised slightly as Bella directed her praise towards him. She was proud of him, rather than mad at him. He wished he would have known that four weeks ago. Still, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of his shoulders. He was just doing what was second-nature to him. The situation presented itself, and he acted, through and through. Nothing else to it, really. It was reassuring to hear the words come from her mouth, however, that he did well out there on the field. He felt it might make up for the fact that last time, he had lost a hand and a leg.
A smile came to his face as he looked to the both of them. “Thank you… both of you,” he muttered. Their ending comments about him in a tuxedo caused him to chuckle slightly. “Yeah, I think it’ll be fun. Problem is, I don’t have a date yet.” Even bigger problem was that he had no idea who to ask. Truth be told, Leonardo had never actually been to his own prom before. He’d been at ones undercover… but that never involved having to ask someone to go. Hopefully… just maybe… his good looks and charm would land a date in his lap.
Probably not.

XXXXXX Location: Academy - Garden/Lounge/Cafeteria XXXXXX Thinking: How much do Iron Maiden's go for?
“ You’re right. Who needs a gun when there are far more interesting methods of torture and killing… Perhaps I’ll purchase an Iron Maiden off of E-Bay.”, Narcissa returned to Aren without skipping a beat, her voice carrying the consistency of frost. Strangely enough, words from the sun goddess were easily sharp enough to cut through flesh… The native was correct in that additional weaponry was wholly unnecessary. He knew her better than she often gave him credit for. Usually with an opening like that, whoever approached her fled the scene like she’d set them on fire. Which she occasionally sometimes did. She could feel him coming closer, the recognizable presence of him, his warmth, more than familiar to her. Everyone felt… Just slightly different to her. Depending on how well she knew them, she could find them without thinking… Just by searching for their energy signature. Kerrigan, she could track best of all. Aren was a very close second on that list… Lillian beat him by a hair. She’d shared energy, and power enough times with the girl that looking for her was like looking for herself. The sun goddess ignored the inward, reflexively shiver that went through her when Aren whispered in her ear—His velvet laugh stirring her more than she cared to admit. Darker gold lashes feathered against pale cheeks as she stopped breathing, closing her eyes to pray to whatever deity may or may not be listening… Had they no mercy? Her response was cool, though steady—Turning the conversation quickly from herself to their mentors. “You never know... He’s got to be doing something right behind closed doors… He has dated slash been married to two of the most powerful telepaths in the world…” Nothing spoiled a moment more than mentioning Emma Frost going heels to Jesus. She paused to turn around to face him, glad that didn’t need to breathe… He was too close. Even though he’d rocked back on his heels, he was still too close. She wanted to tell him not to stand so near to her… But that would be conceding that he’d succeeded in getting under her skin, and she couldn’t have that. So she remained still, her countenance shifting into something sly. “Now I’m kind of curious… We do know he likes blondes.”If Aren knew her at all, he would know that she was teasing. Narcissa and the Alpha Advisor had never gotten along…On good days, they didn’t acknowledge each other existed…On bad days, Scott decided to try and exert his authority and Narcissa enjoyed pointing out that she was not one of his simpering students. “Trust you? With a power inhibitor on, I might think about it… I know all about your ability… And there are certain parts of you that wouldn’t be good for your partner if they suddenly grew three feet longer.”Subject change required, immediately. She silently cursed the fact that it just wasn’t in her nature to let anything go. It killed her to do it as much as she already did, for Aren’s sake. And yes, most every choice she made when it came to the native was for his own good… He may never understand…But Narcissa knew she wasn’t the shiny shimmering prize most thought her to be. She was quite frankly, a punishment. The sun goddess gave him a dour look as he ran with the subject of prom and silly putty. She knew he was only saying it to get that exact look from her…But his suggestion about a shifter actually made her pause. One of the freshmen would be the easiest to bribe… “You know, that’s actually a good idea…” She shook her head then, scowling darkly. She didn’t care about appeasing the woman. “But Frost can hound me till the day she dies. I do what I want.” And she would likely eat those words if Emma just so happened to be listening in, as she so often was. Though her scowl deepened when Aren mentioned that he may be made Prom King--Not the title potentially being awarded… But the giggling gaggles of idiots that kept twittering at him. Didn’t they have anything better to do? Idly she wondered if Aren could take out a PFA on them. Would they be overkill? Nah…Of course not. She sneered nastily. “I think, that they think, that you’re a piece of meat.” It made a tick start working through her jaw. “They couldn’t put me on the ballot anyway. It’d be like taking a girl from another school—Other school girl can’t be Prom Queen….Did you forget I’m a little older than you?”, she questioned off with a visible wince at the word old. Old, Wrinkles, Prunes, and Botox were not words in Narcissa’s vocabulary… They wounded her deeply, and she pretended often not to know their meanings. She snorted when he accused her of scaring away his fans…Her glacier eyes swept over him in stark disbelief, as if terribly affronted. “You’re telling me you’d rather make time with your little monster stalkers—Over talking to me?”
“Hold still while I send a 911 to Elixir. I think you caught the Syph from an Alpha.” Syphilis made one crazy—Did it not? And he would have to be crazy to prefer the nerd herd over her. He was teasing, she knew, but he seemed to like ruffling her proverbial feathers. So he could deal with the consequences… Which were currently her looking away from him with her arms crossed, foot tapping with annoyance. Mock or real irritation, could be anyone’s guess. She sighed and glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes, British tones filled with the patience that a governess usually held for wayward children. He’d asked who she was doing, and there was no way in hell she was going to give him an honest answer. “The Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana.” The sun goddess tilted her head and smiled sweetly. “Wicked fun, that Miley Cyrus.” She frowned then at the mention of Dominik’s name—Forgetting for a moment the quip that came with it. She was perturbed that he was on hiatus from the team because of his grades. For all things to be benched for…Failing a P.T. class? Was he really so lazy? The answer to that was clearly yes. The sun goddess forgave the red and black many things… But when one did something that decreased her teams effectiveness or insulted her perfect image… Narcissa tended to get abit surly. “Forgive me, your invite must have gotten lost in the mail—Why don’t you meet us at half past never.”
“Besides…Dorm room hookups are so last season. You won’t even spice it up? Like…By the pool, Scott’s Office...I feel underappreciated. Talk about a short honeymoon.”Thankfully, for once, he seemed to push the conversation in a different direction and brought up the menu for lunch that day. Pizza, she had no interest in…But Fudge? Fudge cake? That might have caught her interest, though she feigned indifference. She couldn’t help but snicker at the implication…Forgetting her goal to keep at least a foot between them as he stepped closer. He didn’t seem to notice that he liked to be within a certain proximity of her… She did. Because he was technically her subordinate…Because she was older, and knew better. And also, because she often caught herself nearing him without thinking. The blond bombshell sighed and allowed herself to be lead back inside, away from her beloved sun—Her fingers delicately laced through the arm he’d chivalrously offered. For such a louse, his mother must have raised him well. *** They'd passed through the Lounge, and she'd seen several of her team members spending the day, doing what she'd been doing...Nothing of consequence. She nodded to anyone who caught her eye...But it wasn't in her to participate in social gatherings, that she wasn't invading for a purpose. Or to ruin someones day, make an Alpha cry--Usual forms of entertainment. So she waited bored at the lunch table, having chosen her usual space—The one where the sun came through the window the brightest. She basked, flaxen hair shimmering like spun gold in the light. Leaning back in her chair, she twirled a long tendril of hair around her finger—Idly watching the rest of the room as Aren picked his poison. Her gaze was cold and hard, superior in all things… She was a little Queen watching her court. Her silent assessment of her unworthy subjects was interrupted by the native as he returned from the lunch line, sliding chocolate deserts and milk in her direction. The blond stared at the objects for a moment… A quiet dawning coming to her. For being so terribly unobservant in class, he seemed to pay attention to every detail about her. Some of her teammates that she’d known for years were oblivious to the fact that three quarters of her diet involved some kind of chocolate. Most just knew that she usually stayed away from food in general. Greasy things made her feel queasy, and she just couldn’t get used to the texture of most meats. It was an odd by-product of her mutation, that food was unnecessary. Light fed her, energy kept her well nourished. But chocolate made her happy-- Or at the very least, kept her from speaking and flaying someone alive with insults. Acts of kindness were usually met with a suspicious glance…But she did, infact, trust Aren enough to save him her jaded skepticism. Instead she daintily took a fork and started nibbling on the cake. Icing first. The little bint that showed up at their table had some nerve…An admirable trait, really. Though it didn’t stop Narcissa from taking delight in making her as uncomfortable as humanly possible by smiling mirthlessly…Allowing the constant, ever churning, burning rage to reflect in her eyes. If anymore blood rushed to her face, or if she trembled any harder, the Red Queen was willing to bet that she would faint or merge molecules with the floor. Aren, ever the gentleman, promised the girl a chance at a dance—While Cissa rolled her eyes heavenward. This was just getting ridiculous. Finally, left to peace with her Omega—She relaxed, some of the darkness fading from her ice blue orbs. Aren was ruining her…Making others think that it was ‘fine’ to approach them, because he was approachable. Hell, no. She would be twice as virulent, if that were the case. “I never said I wasn’t going…Though, as previously stated—I do what I want…So that doesn’t mean I’m staying past my mandatory appearance.” “I’m just not helping.”, she cleared up with a smirk, silent for a moment as she let the cake melt in her mouth. Say what you will about school lunches…But Xavier’s kitchen staff could put Food Network to shame. Narcissa savored the bite she had, before taking another—Eyes rolling, that he was worried about disappointing the teenage dream. “You’re going to disappoint all of them—Except one. Unless you’re just that suave that the girls in this school allow you to take dates like a Mormon. Get used to it.”
“And you may even disappoint that one, if you don’t do things right—Considering, from the way you’re acting, you haven’t asked anyone yet…Which means you don’t have a corsage, or a suit.”, she frowned, looking him over…They really would have to fix the latter. She couldn’t have her Omega’s—Any of her Omega’s, showing up to any function in anything but the best. She tapped her perfectly lacquered, blood red nails on the table top for a moment…Debating on who she could get to take measurements on such short notice. “The suit portion of the problem—I can fix. But you’re going to have to decide on which dumb shell to take, and an escape plan for when she turns into a clingy wretch, all on your own.”

Aʆєxaηdra Ӎaʀiʆèηє AgηèȿCodename: Flairer My hearts longs for the ability to eat! ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ Alex had thought she had seen Lillian jump slightly. However, she couldn’t be for sure. After all, she had gone on with her request, not focusing on that detail for long. Thus, the sensory adaptor made no comment about it. Besides, her nerves were too tense to ask anything beyond the request of assistance. Normally, the French girl could easily find the proper way to express her thoughts with ease. However, in this moment, she felt shy and vulnerable. Then again, Alex didn’t exactly like being caught in a situation like this. How would I even go about explaining to her how I got lost in the maze, or even why I was out her to begin with? That would lead to some awkwardness for sure. While she knew looking for others wasn’t a bad thing, Alex wasn’t sure how Lillian to take to Alex searching for her. After all, they hadn’t talked much during the past few weeks due to circumstances and their schedules. Thus, to Alex, she couldn’t help but wonder if Lillian would find it weird if Alex told her she had wanted to get to know her better.
However, the sensory adaptor snapped out of her thoughts when Lillian’s voice entered her ears. A small polite smile tugged at her lips as she nodded slightly. Her blue green eyes moved to look at Lillian’s hazel orbs before moving her lips to speak. “That is good. I would not want to interrupt anything.” The fact that her roommate had been planning on leaving the hedge maze made Alex feel a bit more at ease. That meant that even if Alex hadn’t gotten lost in the maze, Lillian would have been leaving anyway. Thus, the likely hood of Alex getting on Lillian’s bad side for this had been reduced significantly. “Though, I am sure this time around I will memorize my way around here so I do not get lost again.” Though I may not have gotten lost in the first place if I had gone and ate something first…Her hand rested over her stomach, hoping it would not growl loudly while she was around Lillian. After all, that would be embarrassing. First thing I am doing once I get out of this maze is to go get something to eat. With this in mind, Alex heard Lillian speak again.
She nodded with a smile still on her face. “Alright. Lead the way.” As Alex followed Lillian, her blue green orbs looked at the maze. The more they walked through it, the more the sensory adaptor felt stupid. The maze was nothing complicated. In fact, Alex was sure she wouldn’t have gotten lost if she had paid attention. Unfortunately, hunger doesn’t equal concentration. Thus, her mind had been in la-la land and unable to focus. Admittedly, it was surprisingly she could focus now. But, the fact there was someone around Alex could talk to did make concentrating on something easier. Besides, once I get food, I will not have to worry about that However, as her eyes moved to rest at Lillian’s back, Alex worried briefly if her roommate thought her dumb. While she was no super intelligent person, the sensory adaptor felt she could be considered smart. At least, in the book smarts and common sense department. She had good social skills. But, the sensory adaptor definitely wouldn’t call herself “street” smart or any of the other smarts relating to knowing American customs or “slang”. Though, due to her lack of focus, Alex felt she surely must have looked dumb in all areas.
Oh well…I hope I will be able to show her I am not dumb…If she thinks I am that is…Just like Lillian had said though, Alex could see the exit/entrance up ahead. Thus, her mind allowed itself to focus on her next task as they left the maze. However, the sensory adaptor looked around to realize this wasn’t the same entrance she had gone through moments ago. This place really is too big for its own good…As Alex slowly figured out her surroundings, her blue green hues caught a glimpse of Lillian looking at something. Out of curiosity, she looked in the direction Lillian did. Immediately, her cheeks heated up slightly. It was the same woman she had seen in the library over a month ago. It was the same woman Alex had eventually learned was the Omega’s leader, Narcissa. Even now, Alex couldn’t help but find her incredibly attractive. However, the rumors about her made the sensory adaptor unnerved by her as well. Wonder if they are actually true? While she was curious to find that out, she did not want to find herself turned into ash. Narcissa was known for her hatred of Alphas. Thus, Alex kept her distance.
Also, the fact that someone approached Narcissa kept Alex at bay as well. Admittedly, the male looked vaguely familiar to her. I think he might have been one of the people I saw in the library that day…But, I am not quite sure. Blue greens lingered long enough to see some girls had come towards Narcissa and the male. As the girls looked to be giggling, possibly at the Narcissa and the male, vague flashes went through her mind. While she hadn’t been out much, Alex could remember seeing girls seeming to giggle whenever a male named Aren had walked by them when she was out and about. Eyes blinked as she wondered if that male happened to be Aren. However, when she heard Lillian once more, Alex’s head turned towards her.
Luckily, the blush had receded and her cheeks were pale once more. Thus, she didn’t need to hide the reddening of her face from Lillian. That would be bad if I already started hiding things, huh? Then, Lillian’s question caused her to blink slightly. Not out of shock, but out of trying to remember if all her homework was done. The sensory adaptor’s finger rose to tap against her chin, the hunger making it harder to think. “Actually…I believe I have it all done….Though, do not take my word on that. My mind is a bit fuzzy right now due to being hungry…”
However, Alex realized if she wanted to be truthful to Lillian, the sensory adaptor would have to tell her the reason for her coming out here. Thus, she took a few moments to try and collect on thoughts on how to phrase her answer. But, luckily for her, Lillian had decided to say something else to her. Her blue green orbs looked at Lillian with a hint of confusion swirling in their depths. She hadn’t felt offended when Lillian hadn’t said anything to her. The French girl wasn’t someone that needed acknowledgement she saw someone she knew. After all, everyone had their moments of forgetfulness. Also, some were just too busy to even notice. In Lillian’s case, it seemed that she hadn’t even noticed Alex was there. Thus, a small grin formed on her face as she shook her head. “Oh no! There is no need to apologize! I had not felt like talking anyway. So, no need to feel bad about not saying anything.” Before Alex could say any more though, a slight rumbling went through her stomach. Her cheeks heated up slightly as her hand placed itself over her dress covered abdomen.
“I am sorry…I cannot control when my body does such things…” Then, a light bulb went off in her head. “Are you perhaps hungry yourself? Because if you are…how about we both…’hit up the cafeteria’ as I have heard people say?” She did not exactly know how a person could hit a cafeteria. But, for some reason, hitting up a place meant going to the place. How that slang phrase meant that still made no sense to the French girl. “Though, that is only if you want to. I can go by myself and get something if you want to be by yourself.” Alex had no idea why Lillian had wanted to leave the maze. However, she didn’t think her roommate would have been all by herself if she had truly wanted company. Thus, Alex could only hope that maybe Lillian might change her mind and accompany her. That way, the sensory adaptor could get to know her roommate…without the possible awkwardness thrown into the mix. ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ "We will drink our fill of Alpha Then, of golden sunshine that spills into the Hedge Maze, and then to the grounds outside the maze Till our brains intertwine with My roommate, Lillian"

R@√℮ +~+ Ѻмεgα- To the Kitchen, the default location "I don't mind," Leion chuckled slightly, "Just get some more stuff out of the fridge, like the meat and cheese you want." he flipped his sandwich as he spoke. He cooked them slowly, burnt grilled cheese was good, but charcoal sandwiches are not. He hadn't really spoken with this particular Alpha often, Eli his name was. . . maybe, but he didn't have a problem cooking for people or helping them cook. Though he honestly preferred baking, he wasn't in the mood to have a chocolate cake or something this early. "You want yours burnt, lightly toasted or charcoal?" he asked as he plopped his finished sandwich onto a plate and set it aside to cool. He didn't like his sandwich cooked to charcoal but he asked because he knew some people did, just like some people ordered their steaks rare. Blech, who would want to eat a steak that you could hear mooing? Don't they know about all the bacteria that could be on that barely cooked slab of meat? Leion + James ~ Evans

Omega, Location: Lounge Talk about a shot in the dark
Orchid was quicker on the draw, politely asking if they could talk here so as to not ruin her sketch of Kerrigan. Frankly he was a bit caught off guard. The two of them were not exactly on the friendliest of terms. It seemed under some circumstances a relationship seen between to mortal enemies in the animal kingdom. Under normal circumstances, Roland might have scoffed at her request. However, due to her polite tone, he couldn't show any malice or disdain. Despite not liking her, he had to appreciate simple pleasantries.
"Oh of course." he answered, "I didn't realize you were sketching Kerrigan. By the way how are your ribs doing?" he inquired. He'd remembered bringing her onto the X-Jet, and her not so pleasant tone when he was treating her. Granted it may have been fueled a bit by the pain, but she was in top form during that flight. It didn't help that he had to convince her to cough constantly until she could get proper medical treatment. It was to say, an unpleasant flight, but frankly he'd rather not have a new teammate be benched due to something like pneumonia so shortly into their official X-Men introduction. Roland had experienced that himself, having to cough for a few hours to prevent fluid build up near his lungs. Dr. McCoy was pretty impressed with how he handled it, leaving it up to Elixir to take care of the rest. Likely she was probably going to have some check-ups down in the medical bay, but he felt it proper to at the least ask. By the look of her, she was doing quite well, her hair flowing about in its unique and organic fashion as she got her sketching done.
Turning back to the red-head he took a bit of a deep breath and just was out with it, "Well, I was wondering if you would be interested in going with me to Prom. As teammates of course." Despite his rather stupid notion that he'd muck that up, he felt rather confident that he did not sound like a complete and utter moron. Kerrigan was a friendly girl, not to mention attractive, and he'd love to at the least attempt to show her a good time. With his luck, she'd likely be the one showing him a good time. He had no experience in dances, or high school for that matter. To say he grew up fast is an understatement, he grew up at lightspeed.
He considered offering up the ol' "I won't take it personally if you say no." bit, but he figured it would be better to just keep his mouth shut. In his mind though he simply thought La palla è nel vostro campo da ora.* as he awaited for her response.

Alpha - Lake - Some Version of a Pep Squad Tara wasn't shocked when Bella joined them, knowing that her power would allow her to hear basically anything that happened in the area. Combined with the fact that she was their team leader, it was only a matter of time before the songstress tried to console their animal mimic and get him back to the team player he'd started as. Her brown eyes moved over the girls always exceptionally dressed frame, smiling slightly when Bella's voice filled the silence hers left. Her words were something Tara felt like she didn't necessarily need to intrude on despite being right there, and so instead she turned her sights out over the lake once more, letting her team leader say her piece, a lot of it being a softer version of her own points. She was grateful for the girl's delivery - sugar coating wasn't something she was naturally adept at. Her attention was re-captured by the sound of her own name, a grin settling on her lips as the topic changed to prom. Bella further commenting on Tara's notion that Leo in a tux would be a sight worth seeing. " Oh, a crime punishable by death," she retorted, giving Leo a small wink in the hopes that his spirits would be lightened slightly. Between herself and Bella, offering encouragement and just flanking either side of him with beauty, how could be not be feeling better? Therefore, when the smile came across his features, she couldn't help but mirror it. He responded to their comments about a tux, though he seemed a little worried about being dateless. " Psht, really? I don't think you'll have a problem there. You're male. You're good-looking. And, let's just face it, the girls around here have lost their mind at the idea of a magical prom night with prince charming. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. Don't you think, Bella?," she said with a dismissive wave of her hand. Hopefully the disdain in her voice for some of the simple-minded, annoyingly giddy girls roaming the halls wouldn't come through, but she knew that was likely impossible. Of course, Tara knew that someone would ask her - it was all a matter of finding the right person to grace her arm. After all, the most important accessory to a prom dress was the right man, right? Considering she already knew which dress she was going to wear, it was only a matter of time before someone caught her eye. Of course, her gaze turned to Leo once more, one eyebrow raising as she considered the possibility. Truth be told, she hadn't really considered it before now, but he was pretty much everything she'd be looking for in a date. And, if he was worried about finding someone, she could throw him a bone and ask him to go with her…of course, she was generous like that. That would surely cheese her brother off - Leo was a nice guy, so there was nothing he'd be able to legitimately complain about when the word inevitably got around to him. Really, it was perfect. " You know, you could end the agony of finding a date right now, and just ask me. I promise, I'm a good date. Besides, I think Bella would vouch that we'd look good together on the dance floor." Yep, she was putting him on the spot, Bella, actually, a slight grin on her lips as she looked at him expectantly. But, she wouldn't apologize for it - if he said no there were other options. It wasn't like she'd be that phased by it anyways. She had interesting experiences when it came to men - there was very little they could do to phase her anymore.

-----------------¦Team: Omega-----------------¦Location: Gardens to Dorm Room -----------------¦Thoughts: Lost art of keeping a secret? Not so lost anymore! ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ---------------------¦"Alright!" Quinn sang, finding that she was actually doing a good job at keeping this secret. Her hands fluttered to the bag resting against her hip as she retrieved her own communit. It was an action of habit really, one that had been kicked into gear when Aria mentioned that she'd left hers up in her old room. As it was with many small devices -- ipods, cell phones, this communit -- Quinn had a knack for leaving them in odd places, thus making it extremely difficult for her to relocate them. Checking her communit every once in a while was good practice to make sure she didn't lose it. And, as if to triple ensure that she wouldn't lose the item, she tucked it back into the same exact spot in which she picked it up from. Mother had taught her well as a child. Put things back where you found them. But it never seemed to pay off, despite how much she practiced such a lesson.
"Oh, hey--!" The brunette bound along side the redhead until they'd have to part ways, "Gimme a call when you get to your new room, 'kay?" Both her eyebrows would raise, her grin growing into a smile that showed her pearly white teeth. Without another word for explanation, which may or may not leave Aria slightly confused, Quinn would shift on her heel and head in the direction of their new dorms. Even though she was short in stature, when she hurried, it was still as light and graceful as ever. Such was a side effect of being a dancer. You knew your body well enough to move cleanly and easily. Of course, Quinn was one for a bit of flourish and grace when it came to moving, so often times any accentuation was purely intentional.
Having been made well aware of the mansion's layout, it didn't take the girl long to find the room she'd be sharing with Aria. Before entering through the door, she'd quickly look both ways in a mild attempt at being sneaky. It was more for the fun of it all and the sleuth that came with surprises.
When she opened the door, Quinn strode straight to the bed that would be hers and dropped her bag beside it. With a swift motion, the satchel would be thrust just under the bed with the toe of her brown boot. Even though she was inside now, her cropped leather jacket would remain around her arms and shoulders. It wasn't that she was cold, per say, for the jacket itself was still relatively light, she just felt more comfortable with it on. Part of the negative side effects of her mutation was that she felt the constant need to stay mostly covered up, even when the weather was warm. Besides, taking off her jacket would just mean having one more thing to hide, which she didn't know if she'd have time for.
So, as soon as the bag was hidden beneath the bed, Quinn would move to take up a spot beside the door. She was positioned so that when Aria would walk in, the action of her opening the door would be what kept the brunette hidden. All in all, though, Quinn just prayed that her best friend wouldn't feel the need to thrust it open with such gusto that it would slam against the wall because if that were the case, she'd get smashed in the nose. Shaking the thought from her head with an uncertain moan, Quinn would proceed to wait for Aria to enter.
First, if the redhead ended up giving her a call, she'd hear Quinn's phone ring. At which time, Quinn herself would make her presence known from behind.
Surprise, right? ¦ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

Kerrigan Schwartz Team: Omega Location: Lounge Current Thoughts: Blindsided Kerrigan offered her fellow Omega a smile when he agreed to speak with her where they were, listening patiently as he asked Orchid how her ribs were doing since their last excursion. Some injures took longer to heal than others, though she was constantly impressed with the medical staff they kept on hand in the lower levels. They'd gotten her through quite a few jams in the past - it was actually amazing she wasn't covered in battle scars from head to toe looking back on some of the battles she had in her diary. She'd vaguely remembered the flight back when they were dealing with the more injured, but her battle with Avalanche had taken more out of her than she'd like to admit. It was all kind of a blur, especially now that they were a few weeks out. Now, it was just another day in the life of an Omega - it was the consequences from their battle that she was a bit more concerned about. This registration act certainly had some of them on edge. Roland turned back to her, the redhead waiting to hear what exactly he wanted her for. Of course, what came out of his mouth was probably the last thing she'd expected to hear, and not just because of who it was coming from. " You want me to…go to prom with you?" Her surprise was evident in her voice, the redhead immediately aware of how rude her comment might have sounded right away. That really wasn't her intention, but it was too late to take it back now. She'd just have to be more careful about how she phrased things from here on out. Honestly, she just wasn't used to things like this coming out of left field. Of course, he was just asking her to go as a friend from how he phrased things, but to be honest, she hadn't been expecting anyone to ask her. The only guy that had ever showed any interest in her for more than a battle tutor had disappeared after they'd hooked up in a drug-induced euphoria. So, there was really only one answer for her to give. What were the odds that anyone else would be interested? " I'm sorry, I just…Err, sure. Why not," she said with a soft laugh, glancing in his direction almost as if she wanted to confirm that this wasn't some kind of joke she'd have to kick his a** for. He certainly didn't seem that cruel, but she knew very little about him. Some girls might have made up an excuse if someone they didn't really know asked them to go to Prom, searching for the nearest guy and saying that they'd already been asked. But, he seemed nice enough, and it wasn't really in Kerrigan's nature to make excuses for things (or not going to things) if she had no reason to be concerned. " I mean, like you said, it's just as teammates. No harm in that," she said with a reaffirming smile. Maybe he only asked her because she was right there in front of him, but she wasn't going to over-think it. Now, she just needed to find the right attire for such an event - another time when she was more than grateful that she had a roommate with impeccable fashion-sense. If anything, Cissa would be excited that she was going with one of their own instead of an Alpha. Speaking of which, she thought she saw a golden head pass by while mulling through her own thoughts, though now there was no telling.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ The Kingdom of Nourishment Eli nodded, the aroma of Leion's sandwich making Eli salivate more and more as it continued to cook. As he made his way to the fridge and grabbed his ingredients, the current chef asked him about the sandwich. "Uhm, slightly burn around the edges." He concluded, now setting down his ingredients. There was some shredded chicken, sliced ham, cheddar and American cheese.
Maneuvering his way around the island, he took his seat again and took some goldfish and raisins from the bowl that was sitting between himself and Leion.
"So, what's this whole prom thing and why does everyone make a big deal about it?" Eli asked, he only asked because Eli had never gone to school as he was home schooled and self taught, he was never educated on the subject of such events. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Hearing only one true noteOn the one and only soundxxxxxxxx Unzip my body xxxxxxxx Take my heart out Cause I need a beat to give this tune… Aria Kuitery Code Name: Ki Where Am I?: Garden > Room > New Room. Aria didn't bother wondering what was going on in Quinn's head. She was up to something, but she would surely find out soon.
She walked off, replacing her iPod buds in her ears and turning her music on. She passed by many areas full of people, like the lounge, but didn't bother stopping. She was lucky enough not to hear the gossip about who was going to prom with who because of her music, she surely wasn't going to stop only to be blasted by it.
As she reached her room she unlocked it and walked in, amazed by the job the people did. Her bed was stripped bare and returned to the state that it was in when she first entered the room a year ago. She placed the key on her roommates dresser and pulled out on of the girl's notebooks, flipping it to a blank page and scribbling a note on it.
Moved to the Omega area today. Good luck! Have fun at prom, and try not to have too loud of a party with me moving out! -Aria
She turned and moved to the dresser they provided her and reached into the back as she pulled the dresser out. It was the perfect space to hide her laptop. She pulled it out, full with it's carrying bag, and strung it over her shoulder. She snagged the comm unit sitting on the dresser along with a note. It was from the headmistress, but in someone else's writing. Try not to forget your comm unit, you're an Omega now and could be called at anytime. she rolled her eyes and looked at the room number.
With that she was off. She locked the door behind her and made her way towards her new room. It took a bit, but she didn't really notice since she was listening to a song she was currently choreographing a dance to. She ran the moves over in her head and started thinking of new ones.
She ended up passing by the room she was supposed to go to and had to turn around and go back, oops. Aria was known to do that a lot at college, sometimes making her late. She opened the door quietly, just in case her new room mate was sleeping. She opened the door just enough so that she could slip in, and she had a free hand on her laptop bag so it didn't clunk. She just almost missed the girl hiding behind the door.
"Really? Trying to scare me?" She shook her head silently and moved in. "So I'll take it you knew we were to be room mates? What, no big party?" She smiled as she put her bag down. "Well, that's one good thing. I don't have to worry about my room mate hacking into my computer and doing god only knows what..."
Her last room mate did. She somehow found the laptop, even though Aria was quite sneaky about hiding it, and logged on. Aria didn't put a password since she thought no one would find it, let alone log into it. She caught the girl on chat roulette talking to a p***s. Literally. A p***s. Some guy was doing the one man tango on cam and her room mate was watching and talking to him. Safe to say her laptop now had a password.

After at least half a dozen xbox live racing sessions(because time traveled whenever video games were being played), the best looking member on the Alpha’s aka Dimitri decided to give the xbox controller, the headset and his online trash talking a rest. Out of the half dozen racing games he played, Otengam was victorious in all but the last one. His concentration and connection to xbox was temporarily distracted when he reached for his vibrating cell phone in his pocket. Once he read the text message his eyes widened behind his shades. Needless to say he wasn’t expecting the text message that one of his female friends sent him at all. “Got a date for prom or am I days late? Haha.” The text message read. He was aware that prom was coming up for the ones at high school. It seemed like after high school one could tell when prom was coming up even if they weren’t in school. That wasn’t what Dimitri just remembered however; instead it was the fact that the x mansion was also having a prom. How did the playboy, the ladies man of the X-men almost forget about prom? Where the chances of boning the chick, getting her pregnant, or heaven forbid marrying the chick was at an all time high? Dimitri turned off the system, lightly tossed the controller, headset and relaxed in the recliner chair as he took out his phone to set himself up for a date and possibly a little bit of fun afterwards.
“Wait…”
Before his finger even inputted in a letter his memory banks took him back in time before the mall incident, before the Halloween havoc; all the way back to where they had that initiation party. But instead of cucumbers being inserted into lower orifices, goats having the best night of their life and the tranny nobody expected, it was to invite the new people that were being placed on the team. Right then he remembered what’s her face and how she stormed off after finding out it was a party for mutants. Dimitri didn’t remember her name(he tried not to) but he did remember that body. It was Luck that was on Dimitri’s side that night when she decided not to call the cops; placing her life above temporary bragging rights. “If that went down like that back then, I don’t even wanna know what will happen during prom if someone loses their s**t.” Melting objects was Dimitri’s special forte, not seeing into the future; however he had a hunch that something was going to go down at prom similar to what happened back at the party. He could visualize one of his teammate’s powers being out of control just because he or she had too much to drink, or a certain someone. Add that to the fact that this bullshit mutant law was being passed and if déjà vu happened again, that wouldn’t look good on Dimitri’s part; all because he was trying to score some human neener nanner. There were only three options left. One option was to go solo, which fell upon the last resort. If Dimitri could get a date for prom then he was going to get one. The second option was to bail on his own mutant prom and go to another one instead. It was a better chance of s**t going down non-mutant related and a better chance of scoring. Then of course there was the last option on Dimitri’s list.
“Or I could see if any of the girls on campus have a date…”
The last option would be to play ball on his own field and ask women who had similar or different talents like Dimitri out to prom. If so, then this would be one of the few times that Dimitri would go out with a girl that had mutant powers. Being trained by his parents he didn’t go to a mutant high school making the majority of the students human with a few closet mutants. In Dimitri’s eyes there was a chance he hooked up with a mutant but it was a small chance. If he was able to go with one of the girls he knew a little bit here then at least it would be certain. It was nothing spectacular but it was still cool; that didn’t mean they had their faults though. But if things went well, Dimitri accepted the fact that things probably wouldn’t go too far unless otherwise. “I guess I should start scoping around…..right after I get something to eat.” The Playboy told himself, taking off the shades and putting one of the two spines of the glasses in his shirt. In addition to food Dimitri considered passable in his eyes it always was the place where a lot of people were at. Shortly afterwards the playboy, along with his bunny slipper pals went on a hunt for the lounge to chow down on something to eat resending a quick text message before putting his phone away.
"Yeah sorry haha. We're not official though so if you want to hang out afterwards im down."

Omega, Location: Lounge Well that went well Hearing her reaction was something that he could chuckle over in his head for a bit. The perplexed expression on her face was one that even if she said no he wouldn't be disappointed with. The tone in her voice did not convey some snotty attitude one could expect from a girl like her. Frankly, based on first glance she was a specimen of beauty that would probably give men whiplash just from doing a double take to get another look at her. However, knowing her as the second in command of team Omega would likely change that idea of her entirely. But, considering who Roland was and what he'd seen in his time, that never really wasn't an issue. So when she said yes, he was both happy and kind of surprised. He'd half expected her to say no, considering it was kind of random and pretty much came from out of nowhere. "Great!" he replied, "And yes, as friends of course, please don't worry about it. I realize that asking you was a bit from left field."It now left him with the realization that he now needed to get a suit, and a corsage (he thought that was what it was called, hell this crap was something he knew absolutely nothing about). It also wouldn't hurt to shave, that would be pretty important. Gotta look good for the night right? With a warmness in his eyes, he said to her, "Well I best be going." before leaving, he took out a pen and a scrap of paper, "Here's my cellphone number, so we can figure out when to meet and such." quickly scribbling his number down, he placed it by her seat. Giving her a pleasant wave, he made his way to the cafeteria, where a much needed bite to eat was waiting. Making his way there, he saw what was probably considered serendipity at work. Narcissa was at a table, eating cake. Of all the people that he needed to speak with, she was the one. Despite his closeness with Dr. Grey, he felt the need to go ask the woman who was pretty much in the most fashionable of clothing at any given time. Or at least, what could be considered fashionable. Not a misgiving about her attire, he just wondered what people considered good for women to wear. Sometimes, leaving it to the imagination made the experience of seeing a woman that much more enjoyable. Making his way over to her, he was once again blunt and right out with it, "Boss, I just asked Kerrigan to the prom. She said yes, and now I need a suit. Any chance you could give me a hand fixing that problem?"

Alpha: Academy - Lounge|686| ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
Bianca listened as Aurelie agreed with her about Roland's partner not needing to be an Omega as there were likely plenty of Alphas without dates. Had Bianca known Aurelie had considered suggesting her she probably would have died of embarrassment. Still Aurelie didn't voice her thoughts and therefore Bianca was safe from that for now. Were she to get asked by anyone however she was too nice to turn them down. Admittedly though she would probably make a bad date. After her powers developed the human boys shunned her and most mutant guys barely took notice of her. Her experience with dating was sorely lacking.
Bianca shrugged lightly when Aurelie mentioned getting her back in time. "I had help." As she continued Bianca nodded finding that she was probably right though still wishing she could have helped prevent the whole thing. "I suppose." At mention of following Toad around the umbrakinetic sighed slightly. "Yeah...it's just with the radiation poisoning and everything. I don't know how many people we did manage to save. If only we could have realized about that sooner." Looking down she realized how terribly depressing she was probably being. "I'm sorry I am sure you don't want to discuss such things. Let alone think about them."
It was pleasing to know that she was not the only one that was now completely and utterly grossed out by frogs and toads. As Aurelie agreed Bianca nodded. "Though really I was never much on them. First time I saw one was in biology class when we were expected to cut into a dead one. Well at least what was supposed to be a dead one." That had been a nearly traumatizing experience when what they thought was dead had started jumping around. Thankfully however it hadn't jumped on her. It had definitely made one of the guys she was partnered with screech like a girl.
Aurelie agreed that Dominik was nice and Bianca nodded. At the mention of him not always being quiet when around someone named Aren Bianca shrugged. She had never met Aren personally nor had she had the pleasure of seeing him and Dom interacting considering it seemed like it could be fun seeing them together. "I haven't met Aren." As for Dominik not being quiet that was another thing Bianca had yet to see. He always seemed so quiet when around her. Did that mean he secretly hated her and was just too nice to say so? The thought made her internally sigh.
Aurelie mentioned it sounding like fun helping and Bianca shrugged. It personally did sound all that fun to her but it did sound like a nice distraction for a little while. Unless asked she probably wouldn't go to prom. She wasn't high school anymore either after all. "I suppose it could be maybe..." It might have been had Bella not been a little off right now. She didn't really seem all that different yet at the same time there just wasn't something right. It was like those times when Bianca put on a smile yet didn't at all feel like smiling. Pretty much like Bianca felt now.
As Aurelie spoke again finishing her statement about shopping Bianca shrugged. "I am not much for decorating either really but I figured I can follow directions well enough for that to be a non-issue. I probably have an appropriate dress however I probably won't go either. Dancing isn't really my thing. It could be fun I guess but I don't know." Going solo would not at all be fun. "If you want to see if I have something you can wear I don't mind? I don't know if we are the same size." For a moment out of the corner of her eye Bianca could have swore the Omega Leader walked through. Thankfully the blond had not said anything towards her however.
Roland was seen leaving after the girl he asked seemed to say yes. "Well I guess he is going after all." It was nice to see him embracing the prom spirit after having been so resistant to going.
(OutOfChocolate: Another okay post.)
