As they wondered deeper Into the cave, more and more locust showed up. It didn't take the defense group long to take them out and continue on. Jace and Matthew were both barking orders like true leader's, they worked together very well. They had known each other for about 10 years now, It wasn't unusual for them to act like this on the front line. The group came to a stop when they reached what look like the heart of the missile factory, there were 10 foot tall missile's being put together along with other weapons. There was also a control tower In the center of the factory.

"Alright, let's clear the area out. Michael's team should be meeting up with us shortly, after that, we'll set the charge's and get out of here." Jace said before he and Matthew headed for the control tower. Clayton was right behind them with another COG while the other four wondered off to check the area.

Tanner once again stayed with Nick and Kirin, keeping a eye on the higher levels of the factory, he spotted more COG's up on the cat walk and other walk ways, he reached up and turned his Tak-comm on. It was Michael's group. He smiled faintly and glanced around a bit.

Tanner glanced at them and nodded. He lead the way out. "We're heading out with Nickolas since he's wounded, It'll take longer to get away from the charge's." He said to Matthew and Jace over the comm-link.

"Alright, we'll be right behind you In a moment." Matthew replied before the area filled with gun fire. The locust had appeared on the upper lever's plus, Matt had just killed one In the control tower while Jace got the other.

Tanner stopped for a moment to let Nickolas and Kirin catch up, after that he continued walking. They made It out of the tunnel's as the cave entrance came Into view. Tanner could see two COG standing outside, driver's no doubt. They spotted Kirin with Nickolas and knew right away that Nick was hurt. The two driver's hurried over to them.

"What happened?" One of them asked.

"I can drive you to the base If you want." The driver offered. "From what I've seen, It's not good to have a wound like that In this freezing weather."

Tanner stood quietly. starring Into the cave, he was waiting on the others.

Back In the factory, Matthew and the other COG's were fighting off wave's of locust, It was clear they weren't happy.

"D**n, how many grubs are In his place?" Jace asked as he switched out his ammo clip.

Clayton chuckled. "More grubs, more blood, more fun~" He said before killing a few with his lancer.

"Enough talk, just kill them off and set the change's!" Matthew called over the gun fire.

The driver nodded and went to the armored car, he opened the side door and pulled a stretcher off the side of the car. It was a medical car, the defense force always brought one with them just In case there was a wounded solder. He unfolded It with the other driver's help. They laid It on the ground.

Tanner sighed and looked at the others, he walked over to them In case they needed help.

After the change's were set and ready to blow, the group of COG solder's ran for their lives, taking out any locust that got In the way. Once they made It out of the tunnel, the bombs went off and shook the whole area enough to make most of the soldier's fall over or trip. Matthew almost did and Clayton managed to catch him In time.

After about three minutes, the soldier's came out. They were a bit dirty and some where covered In locust blood, they were all fine.

Matthew walked up to Kirin, he had had a few dents In his armor from bullet's but none on them had gotten through. "Time to head back." He said with a smile before stepping Into the medical car, he wasn't going to leave Nickolas until he got better.
