Narie was strangely pleased when he had not only asked her name but Mai's too. People would often see a dog as just a dog. Inuzuka clan disliked those who would not respect their companions as respectable ninjas.
"Inuzuka Hinarie, from the Inuzuka clan. But please call me as just Narie. And this is Mai." Mai wagged her tail pleasantly acknowledging that Raiden had took notice of her. Mai had snow like fur with silver tints. She is not fully grown yet but currently, she is big enough that Narie can barely hold her now. It was not until then when she heard Hokage sama. At the light scolding she gave a mischievous grin. It had been a long time since she had seen this room that was so familiar. Finally she obeyed Hakage's order and stepped in to the room completely.
"Inuzuka Narie reporting..eh..comeback"not knowing how to explain her abrupt absence she quickly finished her sentence. Her long trip had been only planned for four months and a week, but because of her fascination of the world she had came back two weeks and four days past the return date. She but her lips at the thought of being scolded.

Raiden felt a bit of peace fall over him as Narie introduced both of them, it had been a long time since he had met new people, most people in the village were just stressed out by the upcoming Chuunin Exams. Even if they were in Amegakure. He looked at the dog, Mai. It was a beautiful dog to see, the dog reminded him of his own dog, although his own was a male. He followed Hinarie's lead. He would wait for her and the Hokage to finish the business, being out of the village for quite the period since she mentioned a comeback was way more important than him getting his headband. She had to be a succesful ninja, he smiled at the idea. He let his thoughts go wild as he awaited the Hokage's response, the information about the mission or her return was probably not that top secret.

“Welcome back dears I’ve missed you Narie, Mai.” Grinning, the older kunoichi propped her elbow up on the table, holding her head between her hands. Despite her direly bored expression, she still genuinely grinned. “How was your trip? I take it you had fun, seeing as you’ve come home late. You had me worried girl.” Swishing her finger, the Hokage gave a playful scowl. She wasn’t being serious with her scolding- at Narie’s age, no, from the time she could walk, she did the same thing. “Oh! Before it slips my mind, chuunin exams are coming up. You best train yourself and learn some jutsu, the both of you- I have faith in your abilities.“ Her honey eyes trailed over to Raiden. She studied him and nodded to herself- with this job, reading people got easier everyday. Pulling open the drawer to her desk, the hokage plucked out a forehead protector- most likely the color of choice. Holding it out, she motioned Raiden to take it from her hand. “Congratulations. With a new title, comes a new level of responsibility.”
Raiden listened to the conversation between the Hokage and Narie, it seemed as the Hokage did seem to worry a bit about the duo, was it a dangerous mission that she had been home? Or was it just some sort of a vacation? It didn't matter anyhow, Narie and her companion were both safe, and the Hokage wasn't even angry, it didn't seem like such a big deal. He smiled at the small talk. It took away some of the stress he had woken up with.
Raiden quickly leaped forward, being a bit stiff getting into a motion like that. He didn't look like he was a bit nerdy and lacking in some speed and strength, but he sure was. It always came back a bit when he was caught by suprise, well that was for inside the village, he did not experience that at the battlefield just yet. "Thank you very much, Hokage-Sama!" He showed a big smile towards the Hokage, he was not a graduate for that long but she already thought that he was up for the Chuunin Exams? It was a honour being complimented by the Hokage herself in that way. He looked at Narie, his calculations did seem a bit right, she was a Genin aswell! He wondered where her team was. He looked at the Hokage, where would he begin without anybody helping him? "Ehh Hokage-Sama? Am I getting assigned to a squad? I know I am about three months late for this". He laughed a bit nervously, it wasn't smart asking that. Why did he wait for it so long, old slacker! "Can you give me some tips if there is nobody available anymore? I don't know where to start". He didn't know if any other Genin were available. If the Hokage did not have any other shinobi available then his best choice was getting some tips from a skillful ninja like her.

You should know how bored I am the last few days ;p.Got way too much time on my hands with my girlfriend working.
Narie felt her eyes widen. She had expected some long talk but instead she got a quick and delightful one. As if dazed she blinked. Oda sama seemed serious enough about what she said. So that was it! Narie grinned back at the knowing look the Hokage seemed to hold. .
"Several messages that were to be delivered has all gotten into its rightful owners. And yes, it was the best time of my life. Thank you Oda sama." It was Narie who wanted to wag her tails now if she can. Nothing can ruin her mood now. Except... A few seconds later she heard the other ninja talk about the chunin exam. This laced chill in the place of previous joy. Chunin exams eh? She thought. Was she ready for this? It had only been five month since she became a Genin. Because of her abrupt trip, she didn't even have an assigned team. Team team team. The words echoed.
"one problem. I think that I also need a team."She gave a inner sigh. .

Messages? Was she some kind of mailman? He grinned at the thought, Raiden had listened to the entire conversation, it wasn't a dangerous mission so it seemed, yet she had been on a mission, and he didn't even catch a pet yet. He felt some jealousy, he saw how Narie was a bit shocked by the announcement from the Chuunin Exams, she wasn't that experienced either it seemed. He would like to train with her, and that thought, that desire got fullfilled as she said that she needed a team, they could form an excellent team! Well atleast he hoped so, he didn't know how skilled Narie was and what kind of style she used, he sighed. Just a week before the Chuunin exams, he hated himself, why didn't he train more and get used more to the way of the real Shinobi? Well he could only try to team up with her. "Then we can form a team, if you are alright with that Hokage-dono!" He gave the Hokage and Narie a warm smile.

Team?! Face planting into her desk, the hokage groaned. How could she forget? More like, she’s been pondering who would make a good combination- with balance in their skills. “Well, Narie-chan, I haven’t assigned teams yet- I tend to think too much. I want everything to be perfect.” Turning to Raiden she thought about. “Hmm…. I’ll think about it- first, try to learn a few jutsu together. And we’ll see.”
Raiden scratched his head thinking this option through, Learn a few jutsu together? He only knew that she was from the Inuzuka clan, it would take some time even for two motivated people to adapt to one's another skill, if the Hokage was actually speaking of collaboration techniques. Well it couldn't be helped. He would do it if the Hokage ordered him so, but was this the best solution? He would like to see Narie in action first, and that worked vice versa aswell he hoped. How could they train together, learning even seperate techniques if they didn't know each others capabilities. "Hokage-sama, how about giving us a testing mission? That way we can learn each others abilities and do something useful for the village" Raiden smiled to the Hokage. It was one of the few things that would strenghten their so called 'bond', making it easier to adept to one another. He was a bit nervous though, asking things like this from the Hokage was a bit rude, his bossy attitude didn't help him with that today.

Imma grab my shotgun, can you take me down with you then for my ridiculous posts :c?
Narie huffed. It disnt surprise her; it made sense. Assigning a team was a big deal and she knew that it must be thought throughly. As always a Hokage was not an easy thing to do. With a nod she agreed with Oda sama's words. She was deep in her own thoughts when Raiden spoke up. Him and her in a team? It didn't seem like a bad idea. After all they both needed teams, right now with the chunin exam is just four days apart. .
"I think that it's a good idea. If we are going to be put in a team, we should test ourselves" Raiden was right. Before they become a team, they should get use to each other's techniques. But...
"Hmm..I know that you have a lot of things to do Hokage sama but where would we find the third?." she said half to herself, wondering. Is there anyone even left? A horror struck her.

Misaki headed from her home toward the Hokage's office with a large stack of papers cradled between two hands and Ran walking just beside her. The agitated kunoichi grumbled to herself as she hefted the burden up the road, something about questioning why she was even doing this. The argument she had with her brother only minutes earlier flashed in her mind. He told her to take a stack of medical reports to the hokage for him, and after much refusal on her report and much insistence on his, he left in his medic garb without a word and the pile still on the table. "He always does this," she complained to her companion who barked back at her. "I know, I know. He just..." Misaki stopped both mid sentence and mid stride as they entered the road between the Hokage's mansion and the main gate. The Inuzuka sniffed the air a few times to be sure she was really smelling what she thought she was. An all too familiar scent filled her nostrils, one that she hadn't smelled for a few months now. The kunoichi immediately picked up her pace as she tracked the smell in the direction of the Hokage's office. She weaved her way through some of the minor crowds that were almost always filling the streets with Ran at her heels.
Once inside the Hokage's mansion, Misaki made her way through the winding hallways. The buildings maze like passages no longer confused the kunoichi as they once had, and even if they were tough to navigate, she was following her nose more than anything. As she got closer to the Hokage's office, the scent she had been following grew stronger. Misaki came upon office doors, which were slightly ajar, and pushed them open with her shoulder. "Sorry to interupt," she said as she announced herself. Having no free hand with which to knock, the Inuzuka popped her head in before entering with Ran walking in beside her. As she crossed the room, Misaki glanced sideways to look to Narie with a cheerful but slightly annoyed face. "You coulda at least stopped at home and told us you were back in town before dropping by this place, especially after such and extended trip," she commented to her sister. The kunoichi was glad to see her younger sibling was back home and safe, but somewhat perturbed that it had taken so much longer than expected and that she only knew of her sister's return because she had smelled the genin's path through the village. Walking past the dark haired boy, Misaki set the hefty stack on the Hokage's desk before taking a step back. "These are the reports from the medic corp," she said to the Hokage.
Katsu walked swiftly through the streets as he made a beeline for the intelligence division. He still needed to turn in his intelligence division's badge before meeting with the Hokage. He opened the door and looked at the Secretary. She gave him a light grin as he walked up and gave her his anbu badge. “I see you’ve taken to the news fairly well. Honestly, I imagined you a lot angrier.” She spoke to him as she took the badge and turn to put it in his file.
He huffed as he glanced up the stairs up to the meeting rooms. He wouldn’t be setting foot in there again for a while, quickly shaking off the thought. “Yeah, I was mad, but I’ve gotten over it, someone has to watch over the genin.” He said bluntly as she giggled at his comment. “Think of it this way, you are now in charge of three future shinobi. You’ll be shaping them for what they will become, helping them grow and become stronger!” She said brightly as he grinned at her. She blushed lightly as he turned to leave. “Thanks Shina-chan, you always know how to make me feel better about things.” He said to her as he opened the door, waving goodbye as he turned and headed back out into the streets.
Back on the streets Katsu didn’t waste too much time heading over to Miss Hokage’s office. He didn’t really know what to expect or what the three kids would be like. You watch…I’ll end up with three brats…. He thought to himself as he rubbed his head. He turned and started walking up the stairs as he turned to see some genin already heading down from her office. He glanced at them as they walked by. They seemed too excited to take notice in Katsu as they talked about missions and new jutsu. Heh…I remember when I was just like them…He thought as the sight of the genin lightened his mood. Then, he turned down the hallway until he had reached her door, knocking before entering. He walked in as he noticed others in the room. He continued to look at her as he spoke. “Good afternoon Miss Hokage-sama, aren’t you looking lovely as ever. You requested to see me.” He said in a peachy tone as he walked towards her desk, displaying his charming smile as he awaited for her response.
Avarice appeared in the Lobby of the Hokages Office, she knew that she would be here. It seemed busy with the rest of the Villages at the Chunin Exams, she loved it that the Rain was excluded from everything besides the choice of the Examination Area. Avarice looked at the receptionist and rolled her eyes " Listen lady, I might not have a lot of time but I would like to talk to the Madame Hokage. " She sensed another presence in the office and she thought that it was exciting. She sat down in the Lobby and waited.
Desu's wet body emerged from the pool of water he had in his home. Living in a place with not much area to swim caused his body to get irritated, after a day or so without being able to swim in cold water he became very irritated and uncomfortable. Of course it was manageable, but it was something that Desu liked to avoid. The pool didn't really come to close to the feeling of the sea water, and the open space to swim, but it did the job until he would go back for more training. It's not like he was a Hoshigaki or anything, he was still human, it's just that he had an adulation for the sea. He got dressed shortly after, putting on his Jounin flak jacket. He didn't really like the bulky fit, so he got his custom designed that it was fitted, with all the hard material cut out. Due to the constant swimming thanks to being the jinchuuriki of the Sanbi, Desu was very muscular, so it wasn't very hard to get a slim-fitted vest for him. He headed out of his house, and disappeared along the streets of Konohagakure.
"Oi, Desu why are you acting so restless lately?" Asked Isobu. Desu continued zipping through the streets like a swift breeze. He ignored Isobu. After a few seconds he reached the Hokage's building. He walked inside and Isobu immediately sighed. I know Boku, I have no idea why there are so many people here when the Chuunin exams are in Amegakure.. Isobu made an annoyed grunt as Desu continued to walk. He noticed a very strong chakra pattern as he walked in, and at the front desk he was surprised to see the Amekage standing before him. He walked up to the receptionist and shook his head before heading to the Amekage. "Hello Miss Amekage-sama." He said, bowing slightly. "Can I help you with something, would you like to see Miss Hokage?" He asked, smiling with politeness. No matter what village he is in, it's true that the Amekage was of higher rank and to be treated with the utmost forms of respect. "I apologize for the service from our reception. It won't happen again." He said, kindly.
"Oh Desu you're soo kindd what a gentleman~ " Said Isobu in a mocking tone. Oh shut up. Replied Desu, keeping his composure.

Avarice looked at him, he was slightly wet and asked her if she needed any assistance. She smiled at him, he was a good looking man ... there was no denying that. She got the feeling that he was a Jinchurriki too; having two in her village she knew the chakra well. She sat on the edge of the receptionist desk and looked at him, her eyebrow cocked and she sized him up " Well, there are a lot of things that you can do to ... I mean for me. But, I have a slightly urgent situation and I would like it to be kept extremely private. " She adjusted her robes and dress and looked at him, the situation was dire to her ... she needed the job done but she only had genin in her own Village " If I paid you ... would you do it? " She activated her sharigan and began to examine his chakra, Avarices first thought was a correct one ... he was a jinchurriki. Avarice respected the Hokage enough to not cause any BS in her office... or the village for that matter.
Desu remained still and firm as the young female Amekage spoke to her. She had a twinkle in her eye, almost like she knew she had some power over Desu. In reality, she did, being a Kage was obviously no joke. She looked at him in different way though, it wasn't power as a shinobi, although that may be part of it. Desu was pleased to the Amekage smile, at least she wasn't mad or anything. As Desu noticed the convenient mistake that the attractive kage made in her sentence, he realized it wasn't that she had a power over him, it was just sexual appeal, which is, in a sense power. Desu put a hand on the back of his head, and made a nervous a laugh. "Well, I was going to see the Ho-" He was interrupted by Isobu giving him a piercing headache. Okay okay fine. "I was going to see if the Hokage needed something, but the Amekage works as well." He said, chuckling. "Payment? Well, I don't require payment for the Amekage." He said politely. "However I can't leave the village for whatever situation you would like me to take care of.. I hope that's not much of a problem." He said. He then watched her eyes become dyed with a bloodshot red. Ah, the Sharingan, of course. The legendary eyes that had an enchanting gaze, it could put you in a trance. Literally. He almost felt like she was visually undressing him. It was a little embarrassing to have someone examine you inside and out like that.
