He smiled brilliantly and led her down to the party. The soft music was still playing, and the pink and red and white ornamentation was still up. The party was coming to and end, and Bolt wanted to see everyone out.

"Thank you all for coming," He said with a smile, "I now would like to tell you to enjoy yourself, but please... this party can't last forever." He laughed slightly, "Goodnight, and God bless."

He made his way towards Revan, to see how he was, and who his lady-friend was. Bolt looked back to see if Kei was still with him.

He looked up at Bolt and Keioko's approach and nodded to them, a sly smirk on his lips. At his question, he gestured with his free hand toward Bastila.

This is my fellow Jedi Knight, Bastila Shan. And, as of about five minutes ago, my fiancee.

Bastila bowed her head at Kagi's friends.

It is a pleasure to meet you both.

"Yes, congratulations," He smiled broadly, but his mind started working. Oh God no, Keioko... she's... going to be thinking of marraige.

He decided to try and change the subject, "May I ask how you two met?"

Kagi grinned over at Bastila.

I got this, Bas.

Recognizing the mischievous glint in his eye, she glared at him, an unspoken warning not to try to scare these people.

Pointedly ignoring Bastila's glare, he turned his attention to Bolt and Keioko.

You see, about ten years ago, this warrior race called the Mandalorians decided to wage war against the Republic. And they were winning too, because the Jedi Council refused to fight them. After a while, I got fed up of waiting, took a bunch of Jedi with me, and went to join the Republic. And we beat the Mandalorians, at a terrible price.

His smile shifted, became no less than menacing.

Out in the wars, in the Outer Rim, I found something. Something that would destroy the Republic if they weren't prepared for it. And they weren't. So I took it upon myself to prepare them for it. In order to save the galaxy, I became its greatest threat. I embraced the dark side and became Dark Lord of the Sith.

He paused in his story, eager to see their reactions.

He grinned.

Dark Lords of the Sith are the most vile and wicked creatures to haunt the face of the galaxy. You've seen what I can do by using the Force for good. The Sith use the Force for evil, and are capable of crushing the life out of a person, sapping one's connection to the Force, and all number of heinous deeds.

He shook his head slowly, regretfully.

I was no better myself. I turned the fleets that had fought under me, the Jedi who had fought beside me, to the dark side and began a war of conquest against the Republic. It was my intent to weed the Republic of elements that would destabilize it and leave it uprepared to face the threat I saw coming. I always left targets of military value intact; I would need shipyards to construct new fleets, and worlds to supply new armies.

But, as is eventually the way of the Sith, I was betrayed by my apprentice, a man named Malak. The Jedi Council, unaware of my reasons behind my war, dispatched a team of Jedi to capture or kill me.

Looking over to Bastila, he squeezed her hand gently and grinned.

They were led by this gorgeous lady over here. Surely, my days were numbered.

She rolled her eyes, ignoring his attempts at flattery, and turned to their audience.

Do not let him fool you with his words. His swordsmanship was, and is, far superior to my own. I hold no doubt that he would have killed me.
