Landry was in disbelief, running hands through his hair as he calms himself down. He decides there is more than one way to skin a cat, and goes to to Jarel's legs and attempts his Figure of Perfection Submission!

Jarel is beginning to recover as landry now goes for his submission finisher. Jarel may not have faced landry before, but he has studied him and this is not a move he wants to get caught in. Jarel reaches up quickly and attempts to grab Landry's arm, then pull him down into a triangle choke

Landry loses his grip and he falls right into the Triangle! A dangerous submission in any many's arsenal, let alone someone as powerful as Jarel!

the crowd isn't going to get a break from cheering in this match, as Jarel is looking to get the submission win with a hold that has won him championships in the past. with it locked in, he's just waiting for Landry to tap or pass out

Landry keeps his hips up and his legs straight to keep as much pressure off of his neck as humanly possible. However, it was still doing very little good, and he needed a real way out, and that's when it hit him: he didn't want out, he wanted to keep Jarel in.
Landry postured up some more, wrapping his free arm around Jarel's leg which in turn would make the hold tighter, but in the process he's keep stepping up so that his feet were eventually above his opponent's shoulders, and The Dragon would hopefully be so focused on this submission attempt that he wouldn't noticed Landry just stacked him up for a pin!

Jarel is in a pinning situation, which it takes a second to register
one...two...thre...
Jarel realizes he has to be the one being counted down and releases the triangle in order to kick out of the pin, quickly rolling to the side to get to his feet again

Landry tosses the legs aside, already on his feet and waiting for Jarel to stand before pouncing, attempting the Heartbreaker!

Landry comes in, looking to hit his finisher, but Jarel looks to step back and pull Landry in, then attempt to drop him with a DDT
(your finish is slightly hard for me to picture, so i hope this counter is reasonable)

(the single underhook wording king of threw me off, so i pictured more like hooking one arm for a tigerbomb instead of both arms. anyways, here's the edit)
Landry comes in, looking for his finisher, and the crowd is sure he'll get it. after all, the Dragon is nowhere near the ropes so how else can he stop it?
well, it's not easy, but Jarel attempts to more or less catch him, lift him up, and fall backwards, trying to slingshot Landry across the ropes
(just for clarification, i'm thinking of the fact that jericho always jumped into the codebreaker, so i'd be attempting to catch you as you jump using both arms in something more like a bearhug, then fall backwards for the slingshot portion. at least that's how i see it in my head)

Jarel's sheer strength was able throw him off target and throat first into the ropes.

jarel rises to his feet, then looks to pull him up and go for the Jacknife Powerbomb to finally put Landry away

Landry tried to save himself by grabbing Jarel by the back of his neck and spike him with a facebuster. Unfortunately, if he was successful, he too would feel a significant blow from the sheer height and force from which he was dropping.

Jarel is surprisingly brought down face first, bouncing off the mat and rolling once again onto his back, where he lays once again

Landry too lays flat on his back, staring up at the bright lights as he tries to catch his breath. The match had been exhausting both physically and mentally, one of his toughest opponents to date, that is to be assured. The referee begins a ten count as both men are now unmoving.
