Kyokie nodded. alright. let's go practice with that dummy over there. she said, walking towards one of the many dummy's laid about the area. go ahead and take your weapon form.

Chiyomaru took her weapon form and found Kyokie's hand. "Let's do this!" she said with glee.

"Alright. let's do some basic tecniques. we can do the other stuff after we get used to ach other. so let's do some basic swings. the dummy is set to still. alright." Kyokie folucused on the doll, and ran at it, her feet carrying her effortless ly. she easily sliced through the arm of te rtaining dummy, and she then jumped back a few feet, going for the next swing, cutting through it's side. Kyokie stopped, and sat the base of the scythe on the ground, still holding it up. "Not too shabby, my partner." Kyokie said with a grin, her quirky personanlity coming back up.

"You want to see something cool, aim your body towards the dummy and spin me like a baton. That will cause a flame whirlwind to shoot from me and latch onto the dummy," Chiyomaru advised.

Spades cocked his head slightly as he heard voices. He drifted through the trees and softly landed on a branch. He noticed a girl with a scythe attacking a ummy of some kind, he decided to just stop and watch what was going on. His eyes focused on the movements of the girl as she spun the scythe, something in the air made his hair stand on end.

The air around them heated as a stream of flames shot from Chiyomaru and hit the dummy, engulfing it in flames. The dummy exploded and ashes rained down. "See, cool isn't it?" Chiyomaru said with glee.

Kyokie was silent for a moment. "that.... was.... AWESOME!!!!! cool! that was sweet!" Kyokie said, almost dancing in joyus exitement. Oh my god, i wanna do that again! that was fun! Kyokie thought, laughing.

Chiyuki laughed. "Most of my attacks are fire-based. Stand a few feet from one and slice diagonally at the air, and I'll send a scythe of flames that cuts it in half."
I like this girl, Chiyuki thought.

Kyokie tried to silence her crazy laughter, god forbid this girl find out she was a crazy pyromanic. "that's awesome." Kyokie Foucused and sliced diagonally, exited to see more of the weapons fire attacks. this is quite a fun weapon! Kyokie though, grinning.

As Chiyuki made the arc, a thin scythe of flames sliced the dummy in half. Chiyuki could sense that the fire made the girl happy. "If you were to get into a fight with my brother with me, we'd win. He's got a thing for ice." Then, in a sober voice, she added. "There are other attacks, but I have to get better with Soul Resonance first. They're too advanced for me right now."

Kyokie smiled at her. "that's fine. that's what practice is for, right? and don't worry about your brother. The only people i tend to fight with is my huge family." Kyokie said with a smile. i think a huge family is an understatment. there are 27 kids and 5 adults, and we always seem to be fighting. it's never peaceful.... Kyokie though. then she smiled, looking back at the dummies. "anyways, who needs other tecniques? you're awesome as is. after all, we aren't challenging any gods or anything." Kyokie said with a bright glint in her eyes.

Chiyomaru laughed. "You never know," she said. "I heard one of Dr. Stein's students was hurt pretty badly while hunting a werewolf. My friend Minari was with them." She shuddered at the thought of fighting one of the huge, ugly beasts. I just hope we don't have to face one just yet, she thought.

Kyokie chuckled. "i don't think we have to worry about werewolves. at least not yet." Kyokie said confidently, although the little voice in the back of her head just hoped she was right. but her family was probably worse than anything she could face out here. witches are about as scary as it gets, especially if you were talking Crow witches.....

Chiyomaru changed back to her human form and smiled at Kyokie. "Well, as long as we stay away from Dr. Stein's class for a while, we should be good. I'll admit now, though, I'd love to set one of them on fire." She sensed Kyokie's unease and looked at her quizzically. "What's on your mind, partner?" she asked. She was concerned, and really did want to know.
