Show Me How To Lie....
Adney withdrew his hand from the glass, arms crossing casually across his chest. He considered what she said, nodding a moment to show he was listening. "I was born a normal human. I would imagine that my children, should I have them with a human, would have no special powers." his expression was thoughtful, as if considering this for the first time. Strictly speaking, both he and his brother were humans that had gained their powers through an unfortunate series of events.

Sky didn't know a ton about how it was with humans. "Well I suppose that if that were to be the case and you married a monster with genes like mine then your children would have duel citizenship between both worlds and may end up becoming wizards and witches. I don't know the rules for their creation, but I think a human has to be exposed to magic to create a witch or wizard." The woman thought out. If that was the case then the brother's children would forever be within the monster world.

Show Me How To Lie....
Considering what she said, the teacher nodded and frowned slightly as he thought. It made sense that that would be how witches and wizards were made, he knew that other species had different names for those of their kind with additional magical ability, but the witches and wizards he knew were predominately human. At least, he assumed they all were. "I suppose it would be easier if my children could be so easily integrated into the monster world. I wouldn't have to hide it." he thought of his father, who had worked in a research lab to try and trace the origins and figure out just how the powers of monsters worked. Had his father been a wizard? The Sol brothers hadn't known anything about their father's work, not until they had gone digging. If his children were human, would he have to hide from them as his father had hidden from him?

Sky nodded in agreement. It was probably better that his children did end up as witches and wizards. "The only think that wouldn't make them just another human however would be that they may be immortal because of mother." She pointed out. They would look and act like a human, but never die. "Then again I don't know much about that. I'm sure the Vice Principal knows. He's on a few magazines here and there. I asked my dad about it and it appears that he is some type of magical theorist or something." Sky told Adney. Pointing him in the direction that he could ask.

Raising a hand to rub his chin in thought, considering this. He still didn't trust his boss completely after the incident that had occurred five years ago, but he kept that to himself. Sky didn't need to know that, and he certainly didn't need rumours circulating; he didn't dislike the other man, he just didn't completely trust him. Than again, the redhead wasn't exactly known for being trusting. "I'll be sure to do my research before I have children. It's slightly silly to think of it now, when I don't even have a girlfriend." he smiled faintly, as if amused by the statement.

sky giggled in agreement. "Who knows you may end up changing that soon." The woman commented. It was a bit of her flirty mannerism. "Same here. I don't have anyone as well and yet we're talking about it." She let out a chuckle with it. "I think first I may have to talk about how I would be living together with a guy." She commented. Not that she didn't already live with her partner, but there wasn't any romance there.

Show Me How To Lie....
Chuckling quietly, the redhead raised his glass to his lips to take another drink. "At least you would have a room mate. I'm all alone in my apartment." he sounded woebegone. "I only have company when Cam comes home. I've never had to live on my own before." it had taken a while to get used to having a room and a bed to himself, but now he had a whole apartment? It was so odd. The redhead didn't get lonely easily, especially when he spent his off periods in the Pool Office with Pyry and, quite often, his son.

Sky laughed. She was lucky. She didn't mind being alone and sometimes it was hard to be with her roommate because they were both stubborn. She wished she could pick hers, but she was living at the work apartments and unless something more serious happen there was no way to get out. "Yes, but at leas you're living by your own means. I want to move out of the apartment that I live in right now." She told him. "I just don't know where I would go." She told him. That was the problem she didn't know what was the next step.

Considering this predicament, the redhead shrugs. "I suppose that, technically, you're right; my room and board comes straight out of my paycheck. I could probably afford to live elsewhere, but it's cheaper at Reed's." he shrugged, glancing up to smile briefly at the waitress as she dropped off their meals. Picking up his fork, he pokes about his plate a moment, considering something. "Rye's old room is empty." he states, popping a shrimp into his mouth. It was an offer, even if it wasn't blatantly stated as such.

Sky's face turned red at the suggestion of them staying together and it didn't matter when it came to work. She was lucky to have job that let her work from from home. "What would be the rules of staying with you?" She asked him. She wanted to know if he was serious. He may have just been playing with her or something like that.

Show Me How To Lie....
Raising an eyebrow at the blush that colored her cheeks, he didn't take it too much into consideration; he had lived with Pyry, after all, who was notorious for blushing. It seemed she was actually considering his offer, and he smiled faintly. The question about rules, however, threw him for a loop. Did he have rules? Sure, there had been plenty of unspoken agreements with his brothers, but what about a regular old roommate that he wasn't related to? "No walking around naked." he states, figuring this was a good place to start. Even Cam, who was by far the most comfortable person he knew, had always at least worn boxers. "If you make a mess, clean up after yourself. Don't eat or drink things in the fridge with my name on them." it was pretty basic stuff, things one would assume already. "I don't mind pets or friends or anything like that. But I should probably warn you ahead of time that my brother sleeps on the couch when he's home." which wasn't all that often, so there was little to worry about.

Sky wouldn't know why she would want to walk around completely naked. She would at least have a towel on. "Just to warn you if my sister had a fight with her boyfriend then she may end up visiting us too." She told Adney, nothing was getting the way of her and her baby sister. She wanted for him to make the next move to see if he was really serious about moving in with him.

Nodding the redhead agrees to the condition. "Of course. Family comes first." he clarified, having absolutely no problem with it. He understood the problems that may arise, and he was fine with them. "If something comes up, just tell me. It's not like I'm some crazy landlord." a small smile appeared on his features at the thought of crazy landlords. Despite his relatively intense demeanor, he was fairly laidback about things. He wasn't going to jump on her if she did something he didn't like.

Sky nodded and agreed with Adney. "It's a deal." She told him. She could agree to that. "Now that we have the agreements down when do you think is a good time for me to move in?" She asked. him. She finally started to cut her meat and eat it. She was kind of happy that she could be a little closer to Adney. She hoped they could patch up what they had as a relationship.

Show Me How To Lie....
Well that had been quick. It seemed that he had a new roommate. It would probably be better for him, having a roommate again. Taking a few bites of his meal, he thought of a good answer for his question. "If you wait until the weekend, I won't have work and can help you move in. I think my brother is dropping by sometime as well. Another pack mule is a good thing." a wicked smile passed across his features before he placed another shrimp in his mouth. The pasta was good, as usual, and he was obviously pleased.
