Something hit him, and it felt like the world suddenly started to pitch to the side. Blackness eating at his vision. It took a step back, then another, then fell with a solid thud back against the floor. Out cold.

Malodore was highly affronted by this sudden display of violence. "I was just asking! You don't have to be so rude about it," it said, offended.
Then, well... everyone else was attacking it, and it had to admit that chastising the creature with a firm swat was a rather attractive proposition just then....

... Ooh. What's this? Sleepy... hmm, strange. It had never felt so completely exhausted before, except maybe after the Island... very odd. So odd that part of Malodore's brain was analyzing the sensation even as it toppled over. Coincidentally, its tail managed to flop in such a way that the tail-blade did a bit of damage to the mysterious aggressor.

Brittanica was basking in the glow of her bestest buddy being ok and not all hurted by her hug and getting ready to gush about her other bestest buddy Schnookums when suddenly everything went insane

They were running! They were getting away! They were totally going to do this, beat the mini and escape the gym.
Then Sebastian was brought to a jerking stop.
"Ma chere, why did you st-" he said, stopping halfway through because she was FROZEN SOLID. He was holding onto her wrist, but the ice had just encased him in too.
What the hell was he supposed to do with a big giant block of weight on his wrist?!!?! That thing was going to kill them. That's it. They were done for. Sebastian gave a ghoulish sort of squeal and said, "Ahhh Jack, what are we going to do, ma chere?"
He banged his free fist on the ice. He was so screwed.

Watching the creature as it walked closer and closer towards them, poke was taken off guard by the sudden attack brought on by it.
Not to mention that the attack was just so dam overpowered, it wasn't funny. There were plenty of lazers flying about and it was impossible to dodge them all. So with that thought in mind she decided to just do what she usually did;
She charged at the creature full throttle, not giving a dam about what happened and just hoped she could get a few shots in before she got bit by something.

Of course, running straight at something usually made you more open to attack, or in this case more likely to be hit by the incoming lazers with one hitting her square in the chest. Although, instead of feeling pain, she felt incredibly drowsy instead.
And as she fell to the ground, she felt quite annoyed that she wasn't able to at least hit the minipet, but she would get back at it...
...right after her nap.

Ulmuka had sort of wandered into the boss fight accidentally. All he'd been doing was seeking badges at every building available. He saw a bit of a crowd... and suddenly HE WAS ATTACKED! The attack knocked him close to his friend Vero. The poor strix's smile seemed to be upside down. He was very unhappy with this! [[ HP: 25 ]]

"What is this?" He felt his strength being sapped and his skin had a purple-poison looking tinge to it. "COUGHCOUGH!"
Oh no! poison! He flailed wildly towards the boss in retaliation. He did hit the beast but his flailing limbs also struck himself.

... Until it was beaten again and again, and finally set on fire. What remained of its tiny body lay sizzling in the pungeant odour of slightly seared flesh on the ground.
All was safe again.
That is, until the students became vaguely aware of something still staring at them. The second pair of eyes blinked, just once, and walked over to the carcass of the first, leaning over on fours just slightly. It opened its mostly expressionless mouth and set to the task of clean up duty, quickly devouring the carcass of its fallen comrade, starting from the charred head to ripping off segments of its body, then each limb to devour whole.
The process took no longer than five seconds before the replacement raised its head again and simply gave the students the same blank, blinking expression of its predecessor. ( Phase 2: The return (150 HP)While the boss is getting ready to attack, hit it hard! Roll a 100 sided dice and rp out your action! Pickles woke up to crunching. His chainsaw, Buzz, was snoring softly. He wrenched it from the ground.

He chucked one of the various occupied skulls he'd found in the scarefari at the new cat.

Dude, Roch was going to be sick. That was just-- "You sick freak," he snarled, still looking slightly green as he raised his guitar to attack again. That was disgusting! Sure he liked eating, but cannibalism was definitely a NOT RIGHT.
This time the guitar slammed into the little abomination, hitting him hard.

Muka, still reeling from being poisoned, took advantage of the opening to throw himself wildly at the creature. He'd dragged his talons along the ground for a second at an angle, hoping to sharpen them up, before he lashedout against it.
His hit was solid as he "SCREEE!"'d with aggression. The strix hopped back, still taking a breath. It looked like his initial poisoning may have been finally wearing off.

Christof could breath again only once it seemed the horrible little adorable thing was suddenly beaten into a small twitching pulp. Relaxing, he was about to return to the festivities before... oh Fear Alive it was just like before.... Eyes wide and all three fists clenching tightly, the hunchback watched in morbid fascination as the thing was suddenly devoured by... another thing.
Hell's Bells.
For once, the undead suddenly wished he had a blow torch.

Did it just ... eat itself? Sebastian had heard of cannibal tribes in Halloween- it wasn't too weird- but eating your own self? That was a new one. Something about it seemed hideously disgusting too. Maybe it was just having to watch it that grossed himself out so much.
Well either way, he couldn't do anything with this giant block of ice ghoul on his wrist. He attempted to wiggle his wrist out, but the ice was shut around it pretty tightly. Pretty soon he was pushing on the ice block with one hand, attempting to get it off him. See, this was why he didn't like touching people. It always brought bad things.
In one fluid motion, his wrist came popping out of the ice, and he was sent flying backwards. "Finally! I'm free ma chere, I'm free!" He was rubbing his wrist happily, when he noticed something odd. Where did the ditz go?
"M-ma chere? Where did y-" Oh Jack. She was sailing straight towards the monster mini. CRAP. CRAP CRAP CRAP. Sebastian flailed around not really knowing what to do. That thing was probably going to eat him next.
The ice block quickly flew over the monster and flattened it. The mini just popped back up, continuing to just stare with those creepy eyes, but it looked as though Sebastian had done some substantial damage. He could almost cheer if he wasn't so gosh darn afraid of it coming to eat him.
The ice block containing Britannica kept sliding though. It looked like it wasn't going to stop for anything. It finally came to a halt though- a rather sudden one. It smashed into the gym wall, sending shards of ice flying everywhere. Luckily they didn't hit anyone because as soon as they disconnected from Britannica, they melted into water right on the spot. Good thing there were no wayward fire demons around here.
Sebastian slapped his hand against his forehead. He was never going back to this gym again.
