 Aeris Lenon "Me? I just like to wander here and there....
Aeris took the parchment, studying the dark elf intently. He made her on edge somehow and whenever she looked at him, a dark shadow passed over her mind making her even more tense. When he had shown a smirk on his face, she thought it was because of the excitement of the atmosphere in the arena, but something else was there. Unable to detect it, she had shrugged it off. But now she knew he had something up his sleeve. Still, she took a quill and signed her name on the bottom of the parchment before handing it back to Jasper. Aeris could handle herself in a fight and if things got ugly, she could always transform....you know, experience all the world has to offer me."

Quinn took the parchment quickly looking it over before signing "naaa no one will die...i think"he thought not really sure if Jasper would kill him or not Quinn felt like something just wasn't right about him but he didn't want to make a big deal about since it was just a feeling "and he did pay so i guess i cant complain"

 Vincent KrossKross wandered the streets of the golden city looking for the Fae they had encountered earlier. he wasn't looking to hard, or he would have found her a while ago, but he figured he would give her time to be alone before he popped in. the more he thought about it the more he wondered why he was trying to find her. it wasn't like she was going to give him her life story when he found her, she had just fainted in a bar at the sight of blood, it wasn't unusual to be squeamish, and he reasons should be her own, and since she had wandered off alone, she must be doing okay.
Kross stopped and ran his right hand through his hair. if she wished to be alone he would allow her that pleasure, she could already be out of the city already since he had taken his sweet time. he sighed and turned back around and headed for the one place he felt a little more at home, The Arena.

Shara
"I have had to fight like hell"
Shara wrote down her name quickly, her writing surprisingly elegant for a fighter though it still managed to look slightly messy.
She walked confidently and eagerly through the a crowd of people toward the combatants room. She glanced at Aeris, noting her stiff posture and wary expression. Her gaze turned to Jasper. Her eyes were keen and she recognized blood lust when she saw it. She lip started to curl back to show her teeth as the instincts she been ignoring till now hit her. She stopped herself, her face going blank, though her eyes were completely slitted, both with anticipation and the same wariness as the cat-shifter.
All dragon-born could feel magic, mainly because they had it. She had it, though she didn't like to use it often. You became to dependent on what it could do for you. She she didn't want dependence on anything. Especially something as unpredictable as magic. She didn't usually pay it much mind. Now, her instincts were telling her she'd need it. She could feel it rise. It rose in reaction to Jasper. She could feel his magic, but she was too used to paying little attention to her own, that she couldn't tell what kind.
The reacted the main room and she immediately leaned against the wall, so she had a view of everyone and everything it this room.
"And fighting like hell has made me what I am."

Jasper of Tal'Rukk
Jasper pretended not to notice the suspicious eyes of the other members of the group. he gathered their pieces of parchment and went back to the registration desk and set them on the counter. The attendant took the parchments and looked them over before dumping a small amount of liquid red wax on each and bringing out the arena seal and stamping each of them. "Alright, your through. just remember we are not responsible for the proper disposal of your body should you die in battle, and no responsibility to tell your next of kin..." the attendant droned and waved Jasper on in a bored tone.
Jasper entered the main room with the rest of them and the door shut behind him, there was a click at the door locked and he raised an eyebrow, it seems they made it just in time to enter with the next group of victims. the sent of blood was even stronger in here but he took in a deep silent breath and let his eyes fade to their cold ice blue and buried his lustful feeling inside, he needed to be in his right mind if he was going to execute his plan, he wanted it to be intimidating and smooth, not just a mess that ended in a monologue that would sound just as cliche as all the rest of the evil speeches throughout history, they always gave away their master plans to the very end, he would not be as idiotic. besides he was about to use enough magic that could rip a hole through time, he couldn't let his blood lust cloud his mind.
Battle ofter battle commenced and each time the second set of doors opened, two went through, one came out. this repeated a few more times until it was the groups turn. an arena guard stopped them and explained the rules. "i figure your all going in as a group, so you will split in half, choose your ally and go through, now as most do, they kill each other off, you can do that, or render your opponent, or opponents unconscious. we would rather the latter so we don't have to deal with the mess and the bodies, but it's your choice." He opened the doors and waved the group through holding the door open for them. Jasper didn't choose anyone and just moved on through, he knew he would enjoy this fight, he would play around for a little bit before he actually became serious.

Aeris automatically moved towards Shara; the woman was the only one she knew best and having a good understanding between partners often decided who would win. She fingered the hilt of her sword, the only sign that her adrenaline was kicking in. She tuned out the roars of the crowd, instead focusing on becoming as calm and clear headed as possible. Being agitated, cocky, or aggressive almost always made the offender overstep themselves and most never recovered. Still, she couldn't help but feel a rising state of awareness and excitement at the atmosphere. When the arena guard waved them through, she was surprised to find Jasper hadn't chosen a partner. He didn't seem that strong, but the girl knew all too well that appearances could be deceiving. She could feel her shifter magic laying dormant inside her core; if she needed it, it would come to her call instantly....you know, experience all the world has to offer me."

Shara
"I have had to fight like hell"
Shara patted Aeris on the shoulder as they walked into the arena. The roar of the crowd filled her ears, their cheers and boos, their excitement and antisipation filling the amphiheater like electricity.
Shara had seen many fighters in places like this before. Some of the other fighters looked uneffected by the crowd as if they weren't even there. Some could do this, but alot faked it. Those were the fighter she avoided. There opponent look very promising.
Shara walked out into the middle, the smell of old blood and sweat assaulting her. She didn't care. A grin light her face. It time she started with a little game.
She looked at the crowd and let out a battle cry which almost verged on a roar, pounding her fist in the air. The crowd roared a little louder. She grinned wider. It was kind of a bluff. Only the extremely cocky or extremely good fighter tended to work the crowd. It gave them something to try and figure out.
She looked back at Aeris. "You ready to kick some serious butt?" she asked proudly.
"And fighting like hell has made me what I am."

Jasper took his place in the middle of the Arena his eyes turning a deep purple as he looked around the blood stained ground. his pupils turned into cat-like slits giving him a darker look. under his lips his already sharp teeth seemed to beccome sharper and his two fangs grew longer then the others, even his nails grew sharper as he prepared for battle. One of the girls, the dragon girl, riled up the crowed as they waited for the battle to begin. she seemed eager to fight, he could tell he spirit was just as wild. his eyes flicked to the shifter she was also eager to fight, it wasn't that hard to read her body language, even if she had tried to keep herself calm. he would enjoy this battle greatly and the finale even more.
The crowd quieted down just a little as the announcer stepped onto a balcony just above the Arena pit. "Citizens of Simaron! Welcome to the Arena! All Hail the Combatants as they fight for Blood and glory! Todays fight should be an exciting one! for it seems the odds are set Two against one! Citizens place your bets and Combatants get your blades Ready!" THere was a slight pause as the crowd cheered so loud it was amazing the whole city didn't hear them. "Let the battle...BEGIN!" he shouted and not two seconds afterwards Jasper took one step forward and a veil of shadows engulfed him and he vanished from sight.
On his plane of exsistance though Jasper saw everything in a purple haze, the two girls stood out the most taking on bright red sheen indicating they were his opponents. he extended his hand outwards and a sword appered in his hands . the blade was a mixture of obsidian and adamantium and it's shapr edges curved up and down to form smooth teeth that if slashed acrossed flesh would take off chunks and if rammed inside the body would leave a gaping hole in the middle of the blade was a brigth red orb that circled around it and pulsed with dark magic.
Jasper charged, though his feet made no sound and he dashed behind the first girl, the dragoness and just as he raised his sword he reappered into their plane and slashed downward his sword pulsing excitedly at the idea of hitting and tearing flesh.
((working on his new pic so i migh not have a pic up for him for the next couple posts...or just the next post...dunno lol

Aeris immediately began to move as the announcer yelled to begin, but she stopped in shock as Jasper seemed to disappear right in front of her eyes. On edge, she moved so her back was towards one of the arena sides, scanning the place for a sign of the elf, but there was nothing. She drew her sword, keeping the tip towards the ground in a relaxed position, but if the situation called for it, the shifter would be able to bring it up in a instant to defend or attack.She scanned the arena, a plan to using the place to her advantage forming in her head. The walls of the arena were rough so she could wall run for a little bit if she needed to get to another vulnerable side of her opponent. The only problem was he was nowhere to be seen.
Aeris continued to search, but spun as a sudden flash of color exploded near her partner.
"SHARA!!!" The girl cried out in alarm, sprinting as fast as she could towards her as she saw Jasper swinging his sword behind the dragon shifter....you know, experience all the world has to offer me."

Shara watched as Jasper disappeared. She froze her body remaining very still and she watched the area around her with interest. She sniffed the air but it was too filled with the scent of blood it be of help. She tilted her head thinking.
Now where would I pop up....? she wondered
Shara grinned and drew one of her swords and waited.
She heard Aeris scream her name. Shara flew forward just a hair's width out of range of the attack she could feel coming to her back. She whirled around to meet steel with steel.
"Nice trick. What else you got?"
"And fighting like hell has made me what I am."

"I am this world's salvation..."

As the blade missed the girl, only grazing off the very ends of her hair and clashing with her blade, the black sword vibrated excitedly and a black ooze seemed to constantly drip down from it and vanish before it hit the ground. Jasper back flipped back farther away from the two girls and he vanished once more just before the other girl reached the dragoness. this was only one of his minor tricks, usually used to attack caravans and confuse travelers. it also made a great escape from the guards of Argonos since being on a different plane of existence wiped out his sent and all traces of him completely.
Again he watched the girls through a purple haze their red outlines shimmering in his vision. the crowd around the Arena screamed and cheered excitedly. soon, though, their screams wouldn't be so happy. whispering under his breath the black ooze dropped to the ground and started to squirm making shrieking noises as it came to life.
Not a few seconds later Jasper appeared to the girls again his purple eyes seemed to have darkened a bit more becoming a blood red. being farther away from the girls if they looked close enough they would see his mouth moving in a sort of chant his hands extended infront of his chest and a dark orb formed there until it flew into the ground below his feet. once it hit the ground there was a rumbling and a large crack appeared and a skeletal arm burst its way up and out of the ground followed by four others. the Skeletal warriors pulled themselves out of the ground and as soon as they reached the surface and Crowed seemed to go quiet and then burst out angrily. "He's A Tal'Rukkian!" a man cried over the scream of the crowd. "Kill Him!" A woman yelled to the girls half angry half desperate. once the Skeletons were free of their graves they ran towards the girls slashing their blades and claws wildly in hope of hitting flesh and blood.
Jasper's face had become relaxed and amused even over the hissing of the crowd. it wasn't illegal for the People of Tal'rukk to enter the city's or wander around where they please as long as they don't cause trouble, but it was apparent that people hated him anyway for was he was. "people never change." he whispered and tightened his grip on his blade and ran forwards behind the Skeletons and attacked the Shifter throwing a ball of fire at her with one hand and slashing upwards at her with his sword and then sideways in a sort of crooked cross shape.

Quinn had just gotten a sword when he looked over at the fight he saw Jasper fighting the girls all alone well sort of alone the skeleton's poppiong out the ground didn't seem to bother him much "so are we still on teams? or is he ganna fight them all by himself?"he thought to himself since it didn't look like he need much help at all "well im bored gatta do something minus well kill something"he decide then charged a Aeris swinging his sword down towards her head

Aeris watched in frozen shock as the skeletons appeared, charging towards her and Shara. She saw Jasper behind them, giving his opponents a triumphant look. His eyes flashed the color of fresh blood in the sunlight. Her reflexes kicked in and she began to attack the horde, pieces of bone flying away from her advances. Even though they were mindless animated beings and easy to take down, Aeris realized that their sheer numbers would be the downfall of her and Shara if they didn't figure something out soon. Every once in a while, one of the skeleton's attacks got past her defenses and soon the girl was covered in shallow cuts, blood trickling down her exposed skin. She ignored her minor pain and focused on breaking down the threat.
Aeris was busy taking on three skeletons at once when she saw a flash of steel out of the corner of her eye. Immediately she fell to the ground and rolled out of the way, narrowly missing getting her head chopped off. She instantly got her footing back and spun to defend herself, expecting more of the undead. Instead, she saw the man they had come to the arena with.
"Why are you attacking me?!?" She cried out, dodging his sword and bringing hers up. The blades clashed together, screeching loudly as steel ran against steel, covering the screams and angry yells of the crowd as they called for Jasper's blood to be spilled.

"Simple this was suppose to be a two on two fight im just trying to keep it that way"Quinn replied Pushing his sword against her's to get close enough to headbut her when a skeleton attacked him he jumped back the skeleton landed inbetween them he then ran at it jumping on it's head for a boost crushing it skull and propelling himself towards Aeris again swinging down harder this time

Aeris' head began to bleed as he hit her and she staggered back, half blinded by the pain. She could feel blood running down the sides of her face and wiped it away, careful not to get any into her eyes. She recovered only to be knocked backwards, flying into the ground as her opponent jumped towards her, using the skeleton as a makeshift spring. Her reflexes saved her life as she mindlessly brought her sword up and blocked his next attack, wincing from the force behind it.
"But he's the enemy!" She said desperately. "He'll kill you too!"
