((Didn't notice that last time. Edited. I use that name so often in RP, it takes a little getting used to with a different one. sweatdrop ))
Yukiryu could feel it in Alexia's aura. She was really jealous, at the moment. He and Yamina returned to their original standing positions. "Sorry, Chiya. I wasn't trying to piss you off. I just wanted to see how you were really feeling."
Yamina nodded. "I'm sorry, too. I knew that's what he was doing, and I didn't do anything but go with it."

"Actually, it could be useful." Yukiryu began, "See, I could tell from your aura that you were jealous, and if you still hold that feeling when we're in battle, it could hinder our performance. That's why I always unwind before a fight. Hell, you've seen what the Masamune's capable of, and I haven't failed with it, yet." He leaned against the leg of the large Knightmare. "I remember when we teamed up during the rebellion for that last operation. It was up to me to make the kill shots while you lined them up for me."

Yukiryu tilted his head to one side in defeat, then returned to normal. "Good point. Music does wonders for warriors like us, doesn't it? Helps us keep focused on whatever our operation is while keeping us entertained at the same time..."
Yamina chimed in, this time. "And it doesn't hurt when you can actually sing along, does it?"

"Well if you want you can head back and get some sleep, but I was gonna go chat up those Black Knight guys, or some of the Team Dai-Gurren People, I wanna get to know the competition a little bit so it doesn't get awkward when I go out for a drink." Jenos said and lit a smoke, the first day was just for the opening ceremony, multiple test runs and systems checks and tune-ups, but it would also give the pilots a change to mingle. "Well, I'm gonna talk to the Dai-Gurren guys." Jenos said with a smile as he walked over to Viral and Kittan. "Sup? I'm Jenos." Jenos said as he introduced himself.

Marika looked over her machine. She didn't remember who she was or where she came from. All she knew was who her mother was. Things seem quite confusing. When she wandered around the wasteland she was found by Dai-Gurren.

Buddy was mumbling to himself. Jenos should know he didn't like being alone. He told him enough. Walking over, he half hid behind his partner as the pilot introduced himself. He didn't want to talk. Jenos would have to introduce him, too.

Yukiryu was starting to get annoyed with how long the ceremony was going. "Damn... This just seems to go on, doesn't it? I wanna get back, so we can eat, then test out the Knightmares."
Yamina agreed by simply leaning into him and nodding.

"Once this is over, I'll make a big one, so we all can get a good-sized slice that we'll need both hands to eat." Yukiryu didn't often show how much he enjoyed cooking, since it would likely mean he was in charge of the kitchen. He didn't like that idea at all.
