She'll have some Silver Rain members pick her up. She already has them hand-picked. Your team is too high-profile. Saint Petersburg will be crawling with State Police. THe only place that would be a worse idea would be Moscow."

She rotated her left shoulder, audibly popping it.

"I'm sure you can go with the team if you want, but actually going into the city would be a bad idea. Let them handle it. This team is an Extraction Team. They're specially trained for these kinds of missions. You'd just get in their way. Go with them if you want, but don't enter the city. Stay on the outskirts. They'll bring them out to you. Then you can all go back to Kronos. But if you get caught by State Police, you'll be extradited back here, where the military will try you for theft of government property, espionage, treason, damaging government property, and a myriad of other things. ANd I can't step in for you."

Eloise gave him a wicked smile.

"You think Mr. Yadav and his team just happened to be out there all alone without support out of co-incidence? His entire team are members of the peace group. And you can follow if you want, just don't go in the city. I'm sure they'll have a Sinker you can borrow."

"Can't happen. He's most likely going to be shot for treason. Though I will tell you where his grave it so you can urinate on it."

Eloise stood up and picked up her briefcase.

"DO you have any more questions?"

Eloise grinned wickedly.

"I'm sure that could be arranged."

She laughed.

"You seem to have a penchant for wanting to see things burn. But whether or not it's right, the law is the law. He will be either shot or lethal injection. He'll be shot because I'm going to pull the Wartime Portion of military law."

"Nope. Unless there's anything else, I'll be taking my leave."

She stepped out of the room, where two guards were waiting on her. THe hallway was conspicuously empty.

Eloise shrugged.

"Regardless of how safe I am here, I still have to have the security. If they had it their way, they'd have the entire base on lockdown, me accompanied by and entire fireteam of Marines."

((The Army and Air Force have converted to Zoids. The MArines are still infantry as we know it. They make initial invasions and clear the path for the Zoids to come in. They clear the buildins, cities, all that fun stuff.))

"Well, I figured that if I came to you as a random government drone, you'd be more of yourself, as well as guarded. Had you immediately put blind trust in me, simply because I was part of your command structure, I wouldn't have made you any offers. But your friend Tobias was right about you."

SHe glanced at the small, silver watch on her right wrist.

"I'd greatly appreciate it if you conveniently forgot that I was ever here."
