 ⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ Bathsheba smiled and nodded to each member, mumbling quick "Nice to meet you"s and "Hello"s to them. She let out a slight chuckle upon meeting Gabriel, and smiled at him.
"Your name is Gabriel too, huh?" She mused. "I wonder how my Gabriel would deal with the fact someone has the same name... She'd probably get confused if people started randomly shouting out your guys' name, and then get defensive and mad." She sighed, shaking her head. That woman so so predictable and yet unpredictable at the same time. Without a doubt, Bathsheba knew she'd get mad. No question about that. But her reaction beyond the anger. Would she attack the boy? Attack those who say her name? Grumble quietly (this was the least likely in Bathsheba's mind)? Who knew. Bathsheba was pretty sure most of the time not even God knew what to expect.
"Spoons and Slap..? Sounds kind of like Egyptian Rat. Do you know that game?" She asked, tilting her head.

Darius "Lone Wolf" Stone ~X~x~X~ "I may be a loner, myself, but I'm not. I have a pack." " Thanks for the offer, I might join you later, right now I got to talk to someone for a bit." D told them as he saw Dusk enter the dining hall. Dusk walked over to Darius, " Hey D, why is it that you're always in here? It's not like you're eating anything." He said to Darius. " Good to see you're up and walking, don't worry as to why I'm in here, but I do want to know how you're feeling." D replied. Before he answered Dusk sat down in one of the empty chairs, " I'm better now, still a little sore, but I'm ready to get back out there." He said, looking around the place. Darius smiled a bit and the two went on talking.

Lexxy "Downpour" Rusakova & Purple RainGabriel "Monkey Boy" Akers & D.K Serina "Tigress" Shepler & Zebra Terryn "Dreamer" Fludd & Nightmare {{ "You can always call me Akers. Lex does that sometimes." Gabe piped up, attempting to shuffle his deck like Serina. Lexxy nodded her head and quickly stole Gabriel's deck to shuffle it for him since he was having difficulties. Like always. "Usually only when you're being a pain." Lex reached out and ruffled his hair. "And some people call Slap Egyptian Rat. But we call it Slap." Lex gave Bathsheba a shrug when she returned to the subject of the conversation. Rina passed Lex her deck who split the decks, stacked them, split them again, and then shuffled them with a bridge. Lexxy looked up and met Bathsheba's eyes, raising an eyebrow. "So what game would you like to play?" }}

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ "How about Gabe?" Bathsheba tilted her head at him. "I like that more, plus I can remember it bit easier." she tapped her finger on the temple, smiling a bit. "Gabriel turns into Gabe. Much easier to remember then Gabriel turning into Akers."
Bathsheba smiled a bit more as Lexxy took Gabriel's desk, admiring how all teams seemed to work like big families. Even for her team, it was the same. She and Michael could be seen as the parents, Gabriel the violent tomboy, Isaac the quiet book worm, and Valarie the sweet little girl who was made of bumble gum drops and unicorns. As she thought about her team/family, and they're typical antics and behavior, she chuckled.
She shrugged her shoulders, smiling a bit at Lexxy. "Sure. I'll play until something comes up. I got nothing else to do."

"Break my nail again, and I'll hurt you." Gabriel faked a scared look. "Oh, so scary." His scared facade broke and he started chuckling to himself. Lexxy rolled her eyes at them. She wondered how a tigress could threaten her cub so often and mean every word of it. The team leaders knee knocked against Rina's, and the girl seemed to snap out whatever angry pit she had been in. "Lighten up, hun. It was an accident." They locked eyes and stared at each other until Serina huffed out a sigh and broke eye contact. Lexxy patted her arm and smiled, cracking her knuckles. At the same time, Terryn cracked his neck, Serina took her sweatshirt off, hanging it on the back of her chair, and Gabe pulled his sleeves up. They all seemed to move at the same time, freezing in synch also. Lexxy picked up the shuffled decks and started passing them out lightening fast. It all came with practice. When all the cards were passed out evenly, Lex looked up at Bathseheba. "We're playing by our regular standards. No more than a few seconds between each card placed, all cards are placed face up, slap with three of a kind, twins, which are two of the same face cards, triplets, three of the same face card, and quintuplets, five of the same face card. Also slap with the family, which is all three face cards in any order, and the Italian family, which adds nine, ten, and ace to the family. Got it? Or would you like a demonstration?" Lex meant nothing mean by the last few words. Her eyes sparkled with the words 'you think you can keep up with us?', but Lex had no doubt this strong looking woman could.}}

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ "No." Bathsheba immediately replied, staring at Lexxy with a bit of a daze. "You guys make this much more complicated than I'm use to - or what I even think is necessary." She grunted. "I'm use to slap on double, nothing else." She leaned back, pushing her pile forward for the others.
"You guys go on though. I'll just watch the chaos."

Lexxy "Downpour" Rusakova & Purple RainGabriel "Monkey Boy" Akers & D.K Serina "Tigress" Shepler & Zebra Terryn "Dreamer" Fludd & Nightmare {{ Lexxy chuckled, taking the cards she had dealt to Bathsheba and dealing them out evenly to everyone else. "Yeah, the extra stuff is unnecessary, but there's nothing else to do at three in the morning with busted Zoids. When you're half crazed from being exhausted, you find stupid things to do. Like creating extra rules for a simple game." Once Lexxy finished organizing her cards, Serina set down the Ace of Spades and the game began. They missed some of them, but between the four of them, a lot of the sequences were made, and a lot of them were caught. It was surprising, actually, to see how fast they picked up sequences. A few times Serina almost got her nail broken which gave the person who did it a glare, but other then that, they were pretty calm. Lex was the first one out, and she leaned back and gave Bathsheba a grin. "I have this firm belief that, with all these crazy rules, it'll teach us to pay more attention to details. They think I let them play it to get them to shut up, which is only partially true." Gabriel muttered a half-hearted 'hey', but other than that, the three of them were silent in concentration. Lexxy switched to the other side of Serina so she wouldn't have to talk over the game. "So Bathsheba, how'd you get to be a mechanic?" Miss Rusakova had decided that it would be nice to get to know Bathsheba a little better, and now seemed like a better time to do it. }}

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ Bathsheba watched the game, only half focused on it. She had been focused entirely when it started, but thanks to the added rules of slap happy ridiculousness, she quickly got lost, confused and uninterested.While she watched the game with an absent mind, she started to wonder how things were going with Tobias and Jarid. She didn't know how long border patrols took, as Jarid normally wasn't on them. Even then, she still felt things were going slow.
Those idiots better not be getting themselves kill... She thought, sighing heavily.
"Hm..?" She groaned, looking up at Lexxy lazily before her mind snapped back on and realize what she had asked. "Oh. Right. My job." She cleared her throat, feeling slightly awkward about zoning out around the group. "It's a pretty boring story actually. Nothing too special. After my brother became a pilot and made some money, he was able to save up enough to send me off to college. From there, I got my mechanical engineering degree, graduated, and enlisted. PAC took notice of my degree and asked if I was interested in being a mechanic, and I was. So I got the job."

-Desmond- Desmoind had lost interest part way through his meal and began to look around and make sure his crew wasn't going to start anything. "Wouldn't blame them though...after all meeting new people isn't our specialty...." He thinks as he slowly picks at his meal,more bored rather then hungry. "Then again it's really up to me when they get out of here....for the most part." He continues in his head adding the last part as a few fast eaters leave."Bringing the rain."

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ Bathsheba's head immediately jerked up, looking at the nearest speaker on the wall. She gave a heavy sigh as she pushed herself from the table. Finally.. Some movement.. She thought happily. She needed something to do. Too many thoughts on her mind, thoughts that needed to go away.
"That's me and my team." She scratched her head as she looked down at the misfits. "So.. I gotta go. Nice meeting you guys though." She turned and headed for the exit-entrance of the DFAC, leaving her chair out.
Shortly after she went, others followed. Her team had been eating as well, but due to large amount of people from the Whale King they had all missed each other.
Bathsheba and the team have left the DFAC and have gone to the hanger.
((Oh thank God movement. crying ))

-Desmond- Desmond sighed and stood up,letting out a sharp whistle and started to head for the exit. "Alright everyone back to the king!" He orders much to the protest of his crew but other then a few complaints there wasn't much resistance to the order as the crew of the whale king flooded out just as fast as they had flooded in."Bringing the rain."
