Going deeper he was. Deeper. Deeper into the shaft that was the candy rock mines. Part of him giggled at the jokes he could make about shafts. And going deeper. But without a companion to joke with it didn't seem quite as funny. Which kind of stunk, given the fact he'd probably forget the joke soon.

No candy to be found and the siren was starting to get a little. Upset. Okay frustrated. He was swinging is pick axe around just trying to hit something. But alas, with a pout, the Siren figured he'd yet to go deeper down into the mines, where there would be more candy.

What's this? What's this? There is..lamps everywhere. Well, actually lanterns, but close enough. Lifting his up, the path was clearly marked, and Israfel figured he was still in the park that had been picked though. But, looking to the side a small glitter and quick pick got him a nice chunk. Luck sometimes paid a role.

Walking down the mines, he wasn't paying much mind to the walls. Israfel did look behind him for a moment though. Nobody behind him. Nobody in front of him. A smirk. It would be a good time as any to practice it. That dance move. After all, no one would see him right?
Right?
A deep breath, his elbow up tight taking a step with the right, tilting his head to the side and smiling real wide....
He did the were-Lion strut.

It was a crazy way to walk, but it got him where he needed to go. Which was deeper. Part of him wondered if this was all a dream, and he was actually dead. or if he was really something else. Somebody else. But that was just silly wasn't it?
He sure thought so.

It looked like she wasn't going to find any more candy at this particular spot. She had been trying to find something for a while now but nothing was turning up. So she moved a few meters to the left again in hopes that this section would prove more profitable. Again, she began to swing the pickaxe at the wall, and wondered what the hobo had in mind for all the rock candy he was requesting. He must of had a wicked sweet tooth...

Now she was getting somewhere! After a few hits, she was able to extract two more pieces of the candy and place them into her bag. As she readjusted her bag though, she moved her food and accidentally put out her own lantern light, plunging her into darkness
"Jacking hell!" She said out loud, fumbling around in the darkness for the lantern but finding she was unable to find it.
..Well, she could sit mine in the dark...sort of.

It only took a few tries for Poke to realize that it was pretty much impossible for her to mine in the dark, no matter how east it was to strike something that was directly in front of her. It was just impossible to find any pieces of candy that might be about, so she put down the axe and resumed her search for the lanter.
A few minutes later, and her hand managed tot ouch the object, relighting it and now able to resume her mining for rock candies

It was good to see she had managed to get a few more candies, but she was still a long way away from getting enough to please the ToT hobo guy. So she continued to slam away at the rock and trash, already working up a good sweat from the exercise and effort. She then wondered if she could punch the rock instead of using the pickaxe, but then figured it wouldn't work as well...

"Now this is more like it" Poke grunted as she hit a small seam, a few rock candies falling out of it. It was a rather lucky break, as it significant increased how many she had. But for now, she had exhausted herself and needed a break from all the work. Pocking the candies, she picked up the lantern and walked out of the mine. She'd be back again once she had relaxed a bit

Mo found herself behind another hill she rubbed her neck for a moment she could swear she heard voices. She shrugged and turned to her task at hand swinging the pickaxe into the trash. But nothing was coming up so she decided it was time to take a break before she couldn't get this smell out of her really. She looked for the carved out path and with some luck she found it and headed for the exit.

Another long hour, another possibly fruitless dig. Well, not entirely fruitless: a piece came from above and knocked it on the head, but Vero managed to catch it before it was lost in the twilight.

Thus, Vero held the lantern with one hand, the pickaxe with another, the bucket by the handle in its mouth - and began to climb with its other two available arms. Such was the good thing about having four, even if one pair was far more diminished than normal length. Several feet up it attempted to mine at the wall but produced nothing.

As it turned out, just another foot higher and Vero struck something. "Id ish furtil uh hurr," it attempted to communicate to Ulmuka. Two more rock candies plopped into the basket.
