Roch grabbed the rope, but to be honest he had never jumped a rope in his entire life. He stared at the handles, then slowly shifted one to his left hand, then stepped over the rope. "I just... I dunno, swing and jump over it or something?" he asked, giving it a go.
The rope tightened around where it had caught on his shoe and he tripped, falling flat on his face. "What... the hell is this, some sort of torture device?" he asked, untangling himself.

[[Yup. It's official: DICE IS A TROLL FOR SECOND ONE-UNDER-WINNER.]]
Oh thank Jack, this gym really did have everything! Three pound weights were indeed among the smaller ones the Sleuth had indicated, and without reserved the little spirit looked very, very hopeful. Perhaps without Astro's nagging and the growling dogs this time, it would have a better chance?
Was this the three pound one? It was a different color than the first one Vero had tried on . . . and yet still the ghost found itself exerting a lot of effort in its workout. It eventually let the weight go and rubbed its head in a perplexed manner, wondering if its arms were really so thin.
"We are clearly out of shape . . ."

Marosa glanced around until he saw a medicine ball, walking over and bending over to start to pick it up, but stopped. Very gently, he reached up to his Sprite Darter and set her down on the ground, smiling gently at her.
"Don't go anywhere, but oi don't want ter 'urt yer, either." He stated softly, before picking up the ball and stretching with it, not managing that easy, but earning a sweat. It was pretty nice, feeling his muscles start to heat up and warm up with the exercise, to which he thought he could even race now!
He turned to Sleuth and smiled. "Ah've 'eard yer cud train two on two, wud yer loike ter join me in de exercise?" He was sweating, but it was clear that he was enjoying it.
To the side, his Sprite Darter chirped cheerfully at him, cheering him on.

Sebastian stared at the treadmill awkwardly. He had chosen it over the weights (undead + weight = no no.) and the jump ropes, but he still wasn't very confident. Still, he had already said yes to working out, he couldn't just back out now.
Awkwardly, he stepped up onto the treadmill. Just how did this work? You were supposed to run right? Why wasn't it moving then? Sebastian looked around for assistance, but gained none. Hesitantly, he pressed a button with a bat on it.
Sebastian was granted with a working treadmill! He wasn't going incredibly fast, but hey, it was better than nothing! Especially when he wasn't even sure how to work this thing. He decided to jog at a leisurely pace, which a few others were trying to do it seemed.
Well this wasn't so bad. He even snuck a glance over at Adagio, who was still making fish faces at the seahorses. Like mini like owner it seemed. Sebastian turned his head towards Sleuth and said, "I am ... doing it right, no?" He was actually rather proud of himself for getting it to work!

exclaim While the others were occupied with the equipment she looked back at Cat and Damien.
"You two want to train up your minipets alright, we'll see how well they can fear-track. I've hidden a prize in the gym inside of a bag with this scent...have your minipets give it a whiff and see which one can find it first."
She held out a handkerchief.
((hostel_en_frunk & Bloodlust Dante you both roll 1D10 - highest rollers minipet will have found the prize first!))
exclaim Sleuth looked back over at Dariya. "Training of anykind requires focus, so thats up to you"
((Manda you may roll for EITHER of the two games OR you may roll for BOTH BUT whatever your roll you'll receive a penalty of -2 to the score for the division of attention.))

(( lolfail ))
Dariya considered that for a moment and then nodded, pulling his fingers away from his newest pet. Since said seahorse was the only minipet he (now) currently had with him, he decided to work on training himself first. This made sense, and it couldn't be too hard, right?
Wrong. The Wila chose the first piece of equipment that caught his eye - the jump-ropes. But such a thing didn't really exist back home so he wasn't entirely sure how to use it. He watched a few of the others first, and then attempted a jump.
But ... somehow, he managed to trip over the rope and ended up falling to the floor with a rather undignified sound. Then, to make his humiliation even more complete, the rope had wrapped around both of his ankles and seemed to have tied itself in a knot. Meaning he was stuck here until he untangled the damn thing. Seething now, he glared up at Sleuth. "Is this some sort of trick device?"

Oppa looked at all the equipment. The treadmill looked promising. Running! That wasn't rocket science right?
Oppa stood on the machine. Hello? It wasn't responding at all. No lights or movement. Oppa got off and walked around the machine. It was plugged in. He got back on and started jumping on it. Then yelling at it. Then pushing all the buttons as fast as possible

All at once Cat was wearing his confident, face-breaking grin again. His minipets didn't get out much, and apparently, having trailed him all this way without his knowledge, Carol was smarter then he thought. Cat held out the little white squirming bundle to the handkerchief obediently, waiting for the tiny creature to settle down and take a few good sniffs, before setting it down carefully on the floor.
"Go on, run run!" Cat encouraged, waving his hands slightly.
The rabbit turned and narrowed it's piercing red eyes up at it's master. It did not like being told what to do. The scent, however, was extremely tempting, and soon it's little nose began to twitch and sniff at the air. It wasn't searching because it was told to, of course.
It just decided, casually and of it's own accord, that it wanted to know where that interesting smell was coming from. Quickly, it shot away into the depths of the Gym in search of the source of the scent.

Damien didn't even care that earlier he fell flat on his back due to scruffle interference, watching Roch fall on his face was a RIOT. The hound started howling from the resounding smack onto the floor, and pointing at Roch like it was some kind of dog breed's job. "Ha! stop trying to make out with the floor Fretmaster!" he cackled out and did his best to get his frantic breathing under control before whistling for Regal to come over and leave the wags and Sniffs alone.
Regal perked his ear up at the sound of the familiar call and gave a snort before leaving his comfy spot on the floor and sat on his owners feet with a "What is it" look on his face.
"Cmon' Regal, show her your searching skills!" he cheered on as he led the Scruffles nose over to Sleuth's offered handkercheif and let him loose to find the bag.
Regal didn't understand why he was getting dragged over to the peice of fabric, until he got a good inhalation of the scent on it and huffed back over the cloth and set out on the search for whatever it was connected to.

Roch gave the hellhound a dirty look, then turned it on the rope. "Fences are for jumping, dammit! Not rope! Rope is for climbing walls and s**t! This is totally backwards!" he said, getting to his feet. Clearly he had something against the rope that had tripped him up. "Shuddup, Dawg," he muttered, clearly pouting as he reached up to rub his face. "Why is it always the nose?"

exclaim Sleuth smiled at Marosa glad to see he was past her nerves he had shown yesterday when asked to spar. She slipped a small spider onto his shoulder and grinned. "Keep coming back, you're not too bad at this."
She looked over at Sebastians call and nodded. "Yeah you're doing great, here my little friend will keep an eye on you." She set down another small spider."
She turned back to the others and cringed a bit at the tangled mess of the ropes and the abuse of the treadmill. "Er...you guys should probably take a water break" She scowled at the insinuation that her jump-ropes were torture devices and then picked one up jumping and skipping easily to prove her point.
"Everything takes practice."

Marosa smiled broadly at the spider, setting down the medicine ball to pet it slightly. He grinned at Sleuth, blushing slightly. "Oi definitely 'ill, that's a promise." He reached down to pick up his Sprite Darter, cuddling her gently before putting her on the same shoulder, keeping the spider on the other.
"Tanks kindly."

Getting back up to his feet once the ropes were OFF, Dariya made it a point to look anywhere but at Sleuth for the next few minutes. He really should not be this bad at ANYTHING and it was embarrassing that she could use the ropes easily.
When water was mentioned, he stalked back over toward the pool with the seahorses for a few moments. At least the minipets appreciated him.

Ulmuka had received his prize graciously and was very proud of his little Aurora but she was not interested in gaining his praise for the moment. She was too busy preening after her victory and very preoccupied with keeping Hound's eyes on her and her alone.
The strix simply giggled at her and stood off to the side to observe the various training exercises that the gym provided and to see how well the minipets all did.
(( Sorry I got stuck with some things.. THANKS SLEUTH!! ))
