"Sorry for any misspeaks to come Cap'n but I'd never call ya a lady it be plain wrong" Smiling Wren pulled another blue ribbon from a newly sewn pocket on her dress. Pulling her hair back, Wren quickly tied the ribbon around her hair in a bow. Laughing softly, Wren had a way of telling when people were displeassed cause she wasn't around to hand over her services.

"All right Cap'n what my dear Gabriel was so hard pressing for me to ask, was if ya'd be willing to take me on the Dementia, at this point I'm only a deckhand at this point, all do any thing when it comes to carin for the ship, I don't hand out my services unless the price is overly right, Oh I have been taken my hands at stichin' so I can fix or make clothing if needed and I've gotten slightly better at fix up people as well"

Tracey watched the captain, requiting was going to be impossible now, he thought. Its one thing for a deck hand to try and get worthy pirates to join a ship, and another thing having an actual captain there to recruit. He stayed in the Tavern, to get an idea about who this captain was and if she and her ship were a big threat or not. He still tried to see if anyone didn't appear to be crew or want to be crew for this captain.

Pharlux, uncurling from his place near the fire, raised an eyebrow at the dashing woman barking out orders in the Golden Cutlass. "You know...I do believe she's a cap'n," he muttered in a thick boroque, his voice holding a heavy Scottish rumble to it. Swaying to his feet, he moved over to her, and tapped her on her shoulder, moving into a deep, sweeping bow as he introduced himself.

"My name be Pharlux, Cap'n, an' I be wonderin' if ye be hirin' on yer ship."

A skinny red head young man entered the Cutlass. A skinny monky clinging to his shoulder. Anyone on the Dementia would have thought him a familiar face, but no one whom would have stuck out.
He looked down as the golden twikles from him boots hardly match that of the rest of him, but that was truly no matter. He found himself a seat and looked around abit at the many faces within the bar. He spotted the Captain of the Dementia and his memories though fuzzy were trying to come back, but seeing her now reminded him that he was indeed part of the crew and not some stoeaway, but why was everything so hard to remember. What had happened to him to make him forget almost everything? He looked around for the bar keep, but it seemed they were busy fusing over the captain, so he settled for thumping his head on the bar table infront of him. His monkey then promptly sat on his head and squeaked abit. "Get off me Mr. Gibbons." John said simply crossing his arms around the side of his head.

Nicolas followed Jamie Gallows into the tavern, eyes searching for any sign of a captain. Having quickly spotted Katherine, the man grumbles and sits beside his gypsy. Seeing her lift the rum to her lips, the man grinned and asked for his own large pitcher of rum. Though during their last visit to Divvytown, the man had been able to stash a few small bottles, they had long been finished while out at sea. Once he had recieved his alcohol, the man almost purred while downing a great portion in one, long swig.

Behind the pitcher, the man clearly did not wait for Jamie's words. Once he had finished, he set it down and then grinned, "Ai! To finding a new ship." His voice was proud and excited, though he kept it somewhat low due to the pirates of the Dementia slinking about. The elf was not worried about bumping into them, but would prefer to leave their ship without any confrontation.

Spotting a male wandering about in search of a crew, Nicolas attempted to get Tracey's attention with a waving hand. Unsure if he got his attention, the man looked to Jamie and grinned, "I may need your help t' get his notice, love."

Jamie almost purred as Nicolas requested her help as a woman. Bright blue eyes fixed on Tracey as Nicolas tried waving to the man. It was questionable on whether or not the other man had noticed. Taking a long sip of her rum and then with graceful ease the gypsy crawled onto the table, on hands and knees for a moment, skirt slightly flitting upwards with her movements. Shifting her weight, Jamie then brushed her legs downwards and sat, legs crossed over the side of the table and skirt lifting rather high. One hand was positioned behind her as she rested her weight on it and the woman tookt he moment to lift her other hand and wave towards Tracey in a more seductive manner.

She smiled slyly, eyes fixed on the other male as she then shifted her legs, crossing them again but the opposite way. She thought it foolish to shout out to the man, for the other crew members and the captain of the Dementia would surely looked to them with questioning gazes tat they would much rather avoid.

If her attempts didnt work, she would have to try another way, most likely by approuching the man more directly. Confident i herself though, Jamie winked in Tracey's directiona nd motioned with a nod for him to come over to the small booth that she and Nicolas shared.

Tracey was sure he had heard something about a new ship. Looking around for the voice, he saw a man wave a hand at him. That was enough to get his attention, the man was obviously an elf and if he had one reservation, it was that he heard from other pirates that if you trust and elf, they will seduce away those you care for. Considering he was sailing under a dragon-kin captain and that he had no reason to distrust the man, he put the words of broken hearted seadogs behind him.

The female with him caused Tracey to have a few reservations as well. He handled it by purposely looking above the neck line of the female not once having his eyes go lower then her own face. Pushing past the reservations, he approached them. They he had never seen before; although that is not say much, he noted how they looked like real, capable pirates. "Corsairs" He greeted in a low tone, "Looking for a way off of this island?"

Nicolas looked up to Jamie Gallows as she positioned herself atop the table. With a slight growl, the man watched, having not expected such a dramatic attempt to get the man's attention. Keeping close to Jamie, the elf prepared to break a nose if Tracey got any wise ideas. From the expression the other man wore, however, it did not appear as though he was that way. What Nicolas appreciated the most, however, was that Tracey Tans kept his attention on Jamie's face and never once, looked below her neck.

Once Tracey approached them and spoke, Nicolas stood and made his way in front of Jamie, as though he wished to cover her up while she could return to her seat. Speaking for the two of them, Nicolas said, "Ai, we both are, though i'd prefer if you kept your voice low. There's another captain in here that's an awful wench." As Nicolas spoke, his voice went somewhat quiet. "By your dress, i'd assume you aren't the captain. Where might we speak to him.. or her?"

Slightly surprised that the male had shown her modesty whereas she did not, Jamie lowered herself from the table. She caught the slight growl from Nicolas and shook her head, brushing it off so as it wouldn't affet her. She wouldnt change who she was just because he grew jealous. Jamie had been a flirtatious, dancing gypsy since she could remember. In fact, that had been the way that she had met the elf, through her flirting tactics.

As Nicolas moved in front of her to speak to the other male she rolled her eyes. Refusing to return to her seat, Jamie stepped to the side and stood beside the much taller Nicolas, sky blue eyes looking to Tracey. She gave him a gracious smile and nodded to what Nicolas had to say about Katherine.

What luck they had to just recah land and to have already found another potential ship.

Tracey lowered his voice even more when speaking with the male elf, since he was the one that spoke to him, "I'll tell you where to meet him, but first I need to speak with the both of you." Again, he wasn't the captain; he wasn't going to send them into a situation where they were not prepared.

He then asked, "I just need to know three things before I can send you to the captain. First two questions, what experience have you had in piracy and do you owe any loyalty to the ship that captain commands?" He didn't point or anything to the female captain, keeping his voice low and his actions discreet.

Nicolas nodded to the man understandingly. It was expected to have to answer a few questions, though the elf was somewhat impatient to leave the company of his former captain. As of yet none of the older Dementia crew members had noticed him and he was more comfortable that way. Glancing in Katherine's direction as Tracey questioned him, the elf could not help but glare somewhat. Since his arrival onto the Dementia, he had been both bullied and ridiculed. If he owed any loyalty, it would be to the sea only.

Speaking before Jamie Gallows, the man quickly answered Tracey's question in a low voice, ensuring that no one else could hear, "Since I was a young boy, I lived the life of piracy, sailing beside my father upon his galleon. I spent a little over a year on the Dementia and have been promoted, alongside the beautiful lass beside me, to able seaman, but will understand that the current rank will need to be discussed with the captain." On the topic of loyalty, the man again grimaced, "Any loyalty I may have, will certainly not be with my past ship. Though my respect and services will be completely offered to my new captain."

The short woman rested her hands on her hips as she rested her weight on one lega dn listened. Of course they had to answer a few questions. It would be foolish to simply allow any pirate, or farse pirate, upon your ship. With an effortless ease the recruitor recited the questions, yet before Jamie Gallows could answer for herself Nicolas had already started to speak in a very low tone.

Remaining quiet for the short moment, Jamie listened to the male. This was the first she had heard of Nicolas's past and even though it wasnt detailed she still seemed to savor the words and remembered them. It now occured to her that Nicolas was much more of a pirate than she had hoped to be. He was brought up on the seas, sailing with his father, witnessing the many deeds piracy had to offer. Whereas she worked on the streets, dancing and entertaining for a few gold pieces to help keep her family from going hungry.

Once Nicolas had finished Jamie spoke up quickly, her own voice whispered. " Unlike Mr. Morgan, I have not been raised in the presence of piracy. " She began, motioning to Nicolas as he referred to him by his last name. " I discovered the seas a little over two years ago along with another man," Jamie smiled inwardly as she noticed she didnt tense when she slightly mentioned her ex fiance.

" And have seen many a battles, learned the duties on the ship, and have plundered my little heart out. As mentioned, I too have been sailing on the Dementia, for slightly longer though, and can find no loyalties that I hold with the ship or the woman that Captains it. Reasons as to why would be time consumming to discuss. I can offer your Captain the same as this strapping elf; Much respect and hard working services. "

He was very pleased with these two. He was feeling comfortable about allowing them to meet the captain. If they knew about battles, and about what that strange ship, apparently the Dementia and that would come in handy if that ship decided to attack. Observing them both, the female's apparent attraction to the elf, and the elf to her also put him more at ease.

With a nod, in acknowledgement of their very acceptable answers, he asked his last question in a whisper, "How do you feel about the Dragon-kin?" Granted, he knew what his own race thought about the others, he had no clue how different races from humans thought about each other. If they didn't have a problem, then he would like wise not have a problem sending them to the Captain.

Like Jamie had listened carefully to what Nicolas had said, the elf could not help but try and pick between the words that the gypsy had said. She had discovered sailing with another man? And though he was not certain just whom she was speaking of, he felt a pang of pain suddenly go through his stomach. Uncomfortably, Nicolas glanced towards the ring on Jamie's hand. There was so much the two chose to keep from one another and though it was to be expected of pirates, it was still unnerving.

As Tracey asked his final question, Nicolas felt himself stare blankly towards the man. Never in his life had the elf heard of dragon-kin truly sailing the seas, let alone being real! Chuckling lightly, the man only stopped when he realised that the recruiter had been serious in what he said. Glancing towards Jamie Gallows, the elf tried to see if she had any knowledge of the race. From what he had heard, they did not seem to be the best of races to get tangled up with, but at this point anything seemed better than the Dementia. Thinking over what seemed fit to say and being somewhat embarassed over this, he spoke, "Well, to be quite honest, I know little of Dragon-kin. I can't imagine the captain's race would both'r me any though."

Katherine ignored the wink directed at her by the owner, but allowed the coins to be taken without complaint. Contrary to her earlier words, Katherine was actually in no hurry to leave Olvidada, at least not until her crew and stores had been replenished. With this relaxed attitude, she turned to deal once more with the cabin boy's wench.

The girl had tied her hair back, and it made her look young. Too young. Katherine dismissed her earlier notions and waved a lazy hand at the girl. "We'll take what we can get." Reaching into her coat, Katherine produced a wad of aging paper and set it down on the table between her and the girl. "These be the articles of the Dementia. Read them well and make your mark here if you agree to them. If you can't read, someone else will do so for you."

Katherine was about to call for her drinks again when a thick scottish voice and a hand on her shoulder interrupted. Looking up, Katherine couldn't help but be impressed by the sheer size of the man introducing himself as Pharlux.

"Indeed we are. There's our articles," she gestured to the papers on the table, "and if you care to join our crew this evening there's a free round in it for you." Katherine raised her voice slightly on this last comment, knowing that new shipmates flowed in best when the ale was flowing too.
