Frowning as he heard the news, Shun let out a sigh and put his phone away. Well great. The ball pit was a bad idea after all.
Before too long, he had made his way back to where the girls where. He could see the balls shifting about as they searched for the mask. Stopping by the edge, he grimaced and begrudgingly got in. This was only to help find the damn thing. Not to play.
"The ball pit was a bad idea," he grumbled towards Lizzy and Xiu while reaching around. he found nothing.

"It was not a bad idea," She corrected the grumpy reaper with a pout, "Things in life just don't always go the way you want them to..." Oh great, the Shun-pessimism was contagious! She paused before sighing softly, giving a small grin, "We were having fun though! Maybe you don't share this opinion, but we were definitely having fun!"
She shuffled forward carefully, searching through the sea of balls with her hands to try to locate the mask. She looked up at Xiu's comment, blinking before tilting her head, "Oh...? Well then..." She moved towards the ghoul, slouched over, her arms still elbow-deep in plastic balls as she continued her search. The mask, with some luck, might still be around the area Xiu had been looking in.
She stopped a short distance from Xiu, pivoting on the spot. For a moment, she felt something odd - something that did not belong in the ball pit - and made a grab at it. Unfortunately, it slipped out of her fingers as she frowned, "Hey, Xiu's right! It's around here! Be careful not to step on it!"

Mitsu's ears perked at the sound of Shun's voice and the werewolf braved a peek above the surface before diving back down out of sight. From the sounds of things though they had an idea where her mask was. Carefully moving toward that area, the only indication of her movement being the shuffling plastic balls overhead, Mitsu began her search yet again.
Her fingers combed through the area but there was nothing. Not even an indication of where the mask was. This was distressing.

As Shun's voice, the Baku poked her head out again, staring up at the reaper as he waded into the pit with them. "It was not a bad idea! An accident just happened, is all." And really, now that Shun was actually in the ball pit, didn't it seem kind of fun? Just a little?
...No?
She went back to searching, but now it felt as if the mask have moved away to some other part of the pit. Frowning, Xiu decided that maybe it would be a better idea if she moved as little as possible, just in case the mask came this way again. "Don't worry, Mitsu! With the four of us looking, we'll find it for sure!"

Despite what the girls might have been hoping, Shun did not find his time in the ball pit fun. All the balls made it a complete hassle to search for the mask. Grimacing, he continued to feel around in silence. Unfortunately, he didn't come up with anything.

The mask is a lie.
She wasn't sure if it was just bad luck, but she couldn't find it again, no matter now deep she went into the ball pit... It was getting kind of frustrating.

The mask was a lie, Mitsu was half way certain of it at this point. She felt bad keeping the others with her though, stuck in the ball pit searching for something that didn't want to be found.
It was during this thought that her fingers brushed across something that didn't quite belong. She reached for it, grabbed it, and pulled back....it was not her mask. It was a hat from what she could tell by the feel. A hat long forgotten in the sea of the ball pit. With a sigh she tossed it aside and continued.
((time for dice change. d6 if you roll a 3 or 6 you find the hat 8| fickle dice))

Even with four people int he pit, it looked like their search was going horribly. Though both she and Lizzy seemed to have felt the mask buried somewhere beneath all the balls, it had managed to get away from both of them. With a sigh, Xiu gave up with her plan of meticulously searching the surrounding areas. Instead, she just shoved her arm down into a random spot among all the balls...
...And felt something strange.
At once, the Baku's grip on the object tightened, afraid that it would be whisked away if she didn't hang on. With her free hand, she pushed aside some of the plastic spheres, easing the object out. When she finally managed to pull it out, Xiu blinked. Then she grinned.
"FOUND IT!" She called triumphantly, her tail wagging as she held both her arms--and the mask--over her head.

Feeling less than amused as their search was coming up with nothing, Shun was wondering if there was a way to get rid of most of these damn balls to make things easier. Though, just as he thought this, Xiu had found it. Looking over, he felt some sense of relief as she indeed had the mask in hand.
Now that was over, he climbed on out of the ball pit. There was no reason for him to stay in there and all.
"Well. That's done with now," he grumbled under his breath. Maybe they could move on now as well.

"YAY XIU!" She cheered along with the ghoul when the mask was found, glad that their search was finally over; after all, she was about to get frustrated at how elusive the mask was... It was a terrible game of 'hide and go seek the mask'! Even with four 'seekers', they still weren't able to find one single lost item.
She waddled her way out of the ball pit behind Shun, gesturing for Mitsu and Xiu to follow; the werewolf would probably want her mask back before then though, seeing how she had been hiding under the sea of plastic balls ever since she realized that she had lost it.
"Shall we go for... Eye scream before heading back?"

Mitsu's ears perked high at Xiu's exclamation. She had found it? She had found it! Wading her way through the ball pit was almost comical since the only thing visible on Mitsu were her ears. When she was close the lycan reached out a hand toward the baku waiting for the mask. Once it was back in her possession it was quickly put back on her face.
"Thank you everyone and Thank you, Xiu." Mitsu called finally able to fully stand. Now that this event was over Mitsu made her way toward the exit of the ball pit and climbed out. At least it hadn't taken...too terribly long to find the mask.
"Eye scream?" Mitsu asked curiously, her voice only wavering slightly from the lingering anxiety of what had just happened.

Yaaaay! The mask was immediately handed back to Mitsu, and the Baku couldn't help but beam happily as the object was returned to it's owner. "No problem! It's a good thing we found it!" She followed out of the others, wading through the balls until she finally reached the exit and jumped out. Then she looked at Shun.
...........Hmm, well. Looked like their plan wasn't working too well. Frowning, she shot a concerned look towards Lizzy, but this was quickly replaced by a smile. "Eye scream would be nice!" She agreed, nodding eagerly. A nice, sweet treat was exactly what they needed!
Mitsu's questioning tone made the Baku perk up, and she turned to look at the pale-haired ghoul with slightly widened eyes. "I...y-yes, eye scream." Had...had the lycan not had any before? Moving towards her, she smiled and took one of her arms. "There are lots of flavours to choose from, and it's all very good!"

"Eyescream?"
Well, at least they'd be getting out of this noisy place. Shun watched as the three girls got on out of the ball pit. Mitsu sounded a little shaken up by nearly losing her mask, which caused the Reaper to lightly place his hand onto her shoulder to try and settle her down a little more.
"I don't really care," he said in regards to a stop at the eyescream parlor.

"Eye scream it is!" She grinned once everyone was out of the ball pit and ready to move on to other things; hopefully the cold desert would help calm Mitsu down and cheer everyone up... They could always play the other machines another day; after all, the machines weren't going anywhere anytime soon!
Besides, while their time in the ball pit was fun, she had to admit that the loss of the mask and the search for it did dampen her spirits a little. Just a little though... Nothing some eye scream couldn't fix!
"There's an eye scream cafe nearby, with affordable prices," She nodded at Xiu's description of eye scream before looking at Mitsu, offering the ghoul a smile, "Just avoid the chocolate ones, just in case!" She wouldn't want her to end up feeling sick at the end of the trip!

Feeling the hand on her shoulder Mitsu looked over at Shun feeling a sense of calm wash over her. His silent means of comfort seemed to do a world of good. "It sounds good." Mitsu nodded. "I've had eye scream before but not for a very very long time." She explained when Xiu decided to tell her what it was. At least she wasn't that sheltered right?
With the decision made Mitsu fell into step with her friends. "Lead the way." She said softly. Her sense of direction was horrible not to mention she had no idea where any eye scream parlors were. It would be up to Lizzy to lead them there.
