Normally Damien expected something refined from the Mindflayers mouth/mind, but to hear nothing but nearly guttural screeching was alarming to say the least. He just stared at her gapingly as she tried to brush off what could only be kitten remains from her tentacles, the glitter was proudly proclaiming her as a feline murderer.

The hellhould let out a sigh and couldn't ignore her cries as he walked over to take one for the team and use his tail to brush off the glitter from her appendages onto his own. like millions of paintballs striking him at once, he grimaced at the rough feel of the glitter on his body. "You going to be all right Ril?" he asked in concern while pouncing on a nearby kitten trying to crawl up Faint's leg.

-fails again-

However he completely miss stepped and slid into the boil's leg with a grunt as the cat decided to use his skull and ears as a safety mat for his tumble. "Aw candlejack, sorry dude." he said lamely to his mistake and folly.

Ulmuka lay on his stomach, the front of him now covered in glitter. He pushed himself up to his feet but found that several kittens were climbing his arms.

He shuddered again and gulped. Now that he knew what happened when they .. exploded he had no desire to eat any of them.

So far the strix hadn't caught a single one and so as they crawled over him he made an attempt to pluck one up for himself. Unfortunately by the time he'd stood up to his full height all of the glitter covered miscreants had fallen back down to the floor between his grasping talons.

Vero knew its master would have brought up an embarrassing story of how it used to be afraid of such decorations: pink, hearts, pink, cutesy handwriting, pink.

A section of the spirits within it shuddered - it manifested as its arm twitching for several seconds, then calming down.

The scarefari zone was bare now, and Vero could guess why: attractions such as this would indubitably bring students and guests. A haunted mansion, where Jack only knew what emphatically lovey-dovey horrors awaited . . .

This caused a small argument within the spirit as its individual aggregates began to argue.

{We must prove we are above this!}

{We have nothing to prove to that Jacking reaper. All he wants is a souvenir, not story time of how we pissed ourselves inside a haunted mansion.}

{I want candy . . .}

{Coward. We scare things, not let them scare us!}

And other such things. In the meantime, Vero decided if nothing else, this would be a recordable experience and entered.

((Hallway))

The sounds of the mewling drove it down the hallway, pen and pad awaiting to be filled. The sound reverberated everywhere seemingly, and a group of denizens were chasing the sources with mixed results.

All the nature spirit could do was blink its large, insect eyes beneath the cowl and ask, "What is the meaning of this?"

((Hallway))

Even as she pulled away from another impending kitten explosion, she felt the gentle brush of tail against her tentacles, trying to brush the glitter off. She shuddered slightly, and her eyes lifted up to Demi gratefully.

That was..

Were the kittens, and this desu-filled place getting to her, or was she really wrapping her arms around Demi in a bracing hug?

((Hallway))

Natalia was frantic...and perhaps one of the first to notice this new commer as the insect...looking kid came toward the room without her actually hearing what it was he said. A lot of commotion was going on around them, and for the boil to try and say anything but 'got another one' was futile. Spinning around, tail whacking kittens about, the monster pointed a finger toward the bug-boil and then pointed to the ground...which could have been inturrperated in two ways. In any case, she expected him to come forward soon after she spoke...

"Kid, get over here and help us gather these things up." Taking that long white finger, the ghoul swung it around and gestured toward the pen some ways away. "Put them in there! Come on!" Then, she continued with her pickings...hoping that THIS TIME would not be like all the others.

((FAIL Kittens caught: 1))

Pausing as another one bit the dust beneath her clumsy footing, Natalia shook her head. "Do not do that. Catch them...but do not step on them please..." A hint of desperation was caught at the end of her throat.

[Hallway]

Faint was quickly trampled by Damien, and crumbled to the floor under the force of the hound's impact. It was hard to tell where one tail ended and another begin, or who was who for that matter as they lie tangled on the floor, but Faint was pretty sure he was able to get a knee to the boil's thigh. "How about you try an actual tactic, next time?" He teased, frowning at the hound. He couldn't quite move...

When a white fluff ball trounced past his face, he wiggled his hands free and reached over his head to try and grab it.

It licked his fingers and skittered out of his grasp, however.

This was getting him furious. But, taking a breath, Kala stepped back. He'd realized that he was becoming a detriment...Time to relax before catching yet another damnable thing.
